Best Pump Repair in Dallas TX
Combing through Yelp to find a plumber and I decided to give Legacy Plumbing a call. I spoke to Thomas, and despite being out of their service area, he provided some fantastic guidance and insight to what I might be dealing with. Hands down the most helpful person that I have talked to. Not too often that I have a simple 8 minute conversation with someone and feel the need to write a review. If I ever have a property inside the service area of Legacy Plumbing, I won't be calling anywhere else. Thank you again, Thomas!

Having very hard water, we were starting to deal with problems with our tankless water heater. As a result, were looking to install a water filtration system in our home. After getting several estimates, we went with Augerpros. When Dustin came out for our estimate, he was very prompt, courteous, and offered several options. The installation went smoothly, and Dustin and his associate put forth really professional, top-notch work.
They like what they do and it shows. We are very happy with our service, and would definitely recommend this company!

Dean did an excellent job explaining things. I was surprised at how prompt they were and calling me back and getting this appointment set and getting out here. I will definitely use rescue air heating and cooling in the future!

We had a leak in our front yard in the flower bed. Another company provided me with a quote that I felt was a bit high. Based on a referral from a family member, I called Pure Plumbing to get a second quote but they said they couldn't provide a quote over the phone. They offered to come and take a look at the problem and provide a free estimate. The plumber came and said it would cost $325 for an estimate. I told him what the other company told me was the problem but he said he had to make sure himself. Since it was already mid-afternoon, I told him to go ahead with providing me an estimate thinking that I could talk to the office later about the charge for providing an estimate they told me would be free. After about 10 minutes, the plumber confirmed that the leak was coming from the homeowner's shut off box (which is what the other company told me as well). His verbal quote was almost twice what the other company quoted me. He did offer to take the $325 cost of the estimate out of the repair price. However, he refused to email me a copy of the estimate and said that we would have to close out the transaction before he could provide me with the written estimate. I asked him to wait outside so I could contact my husband to see what he wanted to do. I also called the other company to see if they could come out to fix the problem that day but they were booked until the following week. Since I work from home and didn't want to go without water for another 5 days, I agreed to have him do the work. After the work was completed, he emailed me the receipt/invoice which has no details of the repairs performed. I contacted the office the following day about my feeling misled on the free estimate and the invoice. The person told me they would talk to the supervisor and get back to me on Monday. On Wednesday, I still had not heard back so I called them again. The person I spoke to said that the charge for $325 was for work done to locate the leak (10 minutes that he spent to dig in the flower bed to find the hole in the plumbing), and if the problem had been obvious they wouldn't have charged me for the estimate. It still doesn't make sense to me how they can say free estimate when it's only free when the problem is obvious. She said she would talk to one of the managers and get a revised invoice to me within 24-48 hours.
It is now Friday evening and I received no resolution and still have not received a revised receipt/invoice. I would not recommend this company at all. While their free estimate claim may not be fraudulent, it is completely misleading.

Schrader was one of the first companies to respond to my Yelp inquiry. They set up an appointment within a few days at a convenient time. Roberto was amazing; I told him about the issues I was having and he immediately fixed two of the problems and then gave me a quote for my larger jobs. He was able to complete the work quickly and efficiently. Everyone at Schrader was pleasant and professional. I'll be contacting them for all of my future plumbing needs.

Needed a new hot water heater and I'm very happy that I chose Staggs. They gave me a fair price, came out when they said they would and on time, and completed the job quickly. I also had a clogged bathroom sink which they also fixed for me. I would recommend them to anyone and will be going to them again for any of my future plumbing needs.
Thanks Jeff!

I had an emergency need for a plumber last night after hours of course. I called the ones I knew and they lacked any element of willingness to send someone out and two promised to call me when their plumber finished the job they were on. Neither called back as promised. I got a recommendation for Absolute Plumbing in Flower Mound. I called and was promised a return call shortly. I got a call back in 2 minutes. The plumber and co-owner (with his wife) Michael Le Clair came out. I am deleting all other plumbers in my contacts! He was highly professional, informative, knowledgable. The job was done with the skill of a tradesman who takes pride in his work. But there is a bonus to his character. He is an ultra-marathon runner who likes to combine his races with charity runs. He raises funds for a group that raises & trains service dogs for disabled Veterans rebuildingwarriors.com . The dogs are then given free to the Vets. He is behind this venture with a vengeance. I don't normally go out of my way to endorse businesses unless they are above and beyond the rest. If you have plumbing needs, I can't recommend Absolute Plumbing of Flower Mound enough. Please give them a try when you need a plumber next time. They just started a FB page and could use some likes if you're so inclined. They can be reached at (972) 539-1180! absoluteplumbingonline.c…

Rey was terrific! On time and very courteous. A very professional man. He fixed an ongoing problem causing my kitchen sink to back up. I'll definitely keep his contact info handy. It's impossible to find a skilled plumber with fair prices. After renovating homes for 20 years, we learned that good plumbers were the most difficult to find. I'm so glad I found you, Rey! Thank you!

We just used Rely on Master Gas & Plumbing at last Sunday. Home warranty company's contractor couldn't clear the clog of master shower room. They cleared it in 15 mins. Professional, perfect service! Thank you very much!

I would highly recommend ABC as I had an emergency and my home warranty company bailed on me so Taylor with ABC dropped everything on a Saturday and was at my house within the hour and had everything fixed within an hour. He was amazing, kind, reasonable and trustworthy after a previously bad experience! Thank you Taylor!

Website says they will come to my area, corporate confirmed they come to Denton county. And they don't. Weak. Talked to the guy, maybe my problem wasn't big enough to come out.

Our Plumber was Brian. While my father was on vacation we discovered a gas leak, after calling the gas company, who came quickly and found three leaks, we call Dial One Johnson Plumbing. They sent Brian to fix our problem. He fixed the three leaks by replacing three valves and hoses. We ask if he could look at a stopped up bathtub. As he was trying to unstop the tub he found that the pipe under the house were rotted out. In fact after he got under the house he found several pipes and joints in the same condition. It took him several days to fix the piping and tub fixtures. Brian was always courteous and friendly. He apologized frequently for the inconveniences he was creating. Brian was a clean freak, always very concerned about messing up the house. In fact before he left for the last time he went around the house making sure he had not left anything that needed to be cleaned up. The price seemed a little high but for the time he was on the job (about 17-18 hours) it was OK.

Great job by Miguel! On time and very knowledgeable and very experienced. Was able to resolve my issue very quickly and very reasonably. Recommend this business hands-down!

I have been using Mai Plumbing for 10+ years. I originally got them off a program where they supported the local football team. They have always done an excellent job at a reasonable price. I trust them enough to just leave a key. In fact, it was only after I retired that I actually met them in person. They are good people in my book!

I had to have major work on my wash out. There were roots growing into my line and the connections were off. Stram was great and walked me through it all showing me everything on his camera. The price was very reasonable and they did quick work. I'm very thankful to their professionalism and work quality as I was in a tough spot.

I had a pretty serious drainage issue. These heavy downpours are literally putting water up against the house. I called two brothers, Elijah came out the next day, He explained the issue as I had several pics depicting what was happening and explained in detail how he would resolve the issue. He sincerely wanted to help me resolve my issue. His team started work within a day after signing. He was very meticulous and thorough with his work and ensured everything was working at the completion even testing the sprinkler system as it needed to be rerouted. I am impressed. I will be returning to Two brothers for additional work in the future. If you have plumbing/drainage type issue, give Elijah a call.

Over the past two years--with one serious exception that is ongoing--I've been pleased with BillyGO. I've used them for a replacement capacitor on my condenser unit after hours, and was thrilled with the results. They replaced a toilet downstairs for me, came out to add a hard start to my condenser unit which was throwing my breaker, cut off and sealed a poorly built broken sprinkler line that had been damaged by the previous owner's foundation work, did checks of my heating and plumbing as a part of the membership (I'm a member, it saves 15%), and did two hydrostatic tests of my sewage and water lines.
But today, as I sit with an incredibly high bill for a two-tunnel under slab tunneling to repair a few breaks in a sewage line, I feel a bit frustrated. The job is: two access points under my slab, one for an up-to-15 foot tunnel and one for an up-to-20 foot tunnel. They subcontract out to a crew that digs down, excavates the soil, locates and repairs the pipes, and then backfills, etc. There is no permit required, is my understanding, because it's not over the limit of length for a tunnel.
The price is $21,200. They reduced this by $1,000 but I haven't yet seen the price breakdown they promised. In my situation, my sewage insurance endorsement on my homeowner's policy covers $2,500 to $10,000 based on the age of the plumbing, and I'll probably only get $2,500 covered.
I understand that major excavations can be expensive and as a business professor, I'm no stranger to profit margins and operating costs. I get it. Good work costs money, and BillyGO has always done good, reliable work for me.
But today, I genuinely feel a bit gouged, after asking a couple of other very highly rated plumbers just for their opinion with no chance of taking the job. One service said he wouldn't take the job now if I went with them instead because it would have to be too expensive to start over. But he did say despite the cost, BillyGO at least does good work and is reputable, which I knew.
Look, I'm on a time crunch. I need to make this repair before my re-inspection date in 16 days prior to closing in order to sell my house, so I'm a bit of a captive buyer. I want to endorse BillyGO wholeheartedly but after this experience, I'm more than a little jaded. Yes, I accepted the quote. Yes, I put $5,000 down (explained to me as $2,500 per access point for the tunnels), and I agreed to let them continue. But I have no choice, now. And it's better to keep my buyer in the game to sell him my home and cut my losses than look for a more reasonable price elsewhere, and lose my buyer.
Shop around. Could you find a high quality service to make two tunnels totaling 30-35 feet in tunneling for less than $21,000? I bet if I gave you 5-6 chances, you'd do it every time. And that's what bothers me about this. Again, they came down by $1,000 on the price which I appreciate, but the price is still far too high compared to all the information I am finding from other providers and online, and I didn't know better when I put down $5,000-nor did I have much of an option given my time constraints, even if I had wanted to back out and go with a different provider.
I'm disappointed on this one, and unfortunately it colors all the other experiences I had with BillyGO. I hope they make it right.
