Best Tankless Water Heater Repair in Columbus OH

Very grateful that Chris from CLB was able to come out on an emergency call on a Friday night. Fixed our problem, was very friendly and seemed trustworthy.

I needed hot & cold water piped from basement to enclosed  porch.  House is over 100yrs. old.  I had no idea how that could be done, but OWH did exactly what I wanted and needed.  Chris (OWH) was right on the job.  He figured out how it could be done.  I wanted my washing machine on porch from the basement..  Also, needed drain hooked up.  Chris and Garrett were here today and did an excellent job.  I'm so happy,, now I can do all my laundry up here. Our boiler was having a problem with the igniter and was failing to work on New Year's day.  We placed a non-emergency call (outside temp was in the 40s - we could wait until the 2nd.  We got a call back on the 2nd and they had a window and sent out Joe.  They couln't have sent a nicer guy... really pleasant and polite.  He figured out the problems we were having quickly, took the time to explain and demonstrate, got the parts ordered and was back in 2 days and completed the repairs.  He ran into a few snags (old rusting pieces in our system) and had to run out to get unexpected replacement parts, but finished the job so we'd have heat that night.  I can't say enough good things about them, and will call them for any and all plumbing issues.

Constant up-selling and overpricing. The guy was really nice and friendly but quoted me $1600 for a job 2 other plumbers estimated at $300 (and both said the work wasn't even necessary)

I have used Discount Drains on two separate occasions. Each time, the plumber was on time, respectful of our home and friendly. They do excellent work at reasonable prices and always clean up when they are finished. I was provided with an initial quote and assessment upon their arrival and consulted with any recommendations as they were doing their work. I would highly recommend Discount Drains to anyone and will continue to use them for all future projects.

We were in dire straits with a broken sewer line. These folks came out, assessed the problem and got it done in no time. Their plumber Nate was timely, efficient, courteous, and professional. I love having a local company take care of business. Good job Amanda Plumbing!

We called to have them replace a sump pump that wasn't working. They had a tech come out to replace it, on May 28.  We thought everything was ok until my husband went downstairs, 2+ weeks ago and recovered our basement flooded from all of the rain we had during that time. Has incurred thousands of dollars due to, and I quote the owner of the business, he installed the wrong pump. the tech come back out, replaced the pump with the appropitiate pump. The techs response was you have too much water!

We are now in week 3 of this nightmare and have learned the damage includes our water heater.

I gladly recommend McDermott with five stars. This week, the company came out when our washer's drain pipe was backing up and overflowing onto the basement floor. Another company had previously said our drain might have concrete in it and the floor needed to be completely broken up. That would have cost thousands of dollars. Michael from McDermott snaked the pipe and fixed it pronto, never suggesting concrete in the pipe. (He said it was just typical gunk.) McDermott is honest, reasonable and Michael is very nice and easy to work with (and he's a dog person, so our dog loved him!). McDermott also has installed a water heater for us in the past and took care of a leaky dishwasher.

Used twice!! Honest and friendly. Came same day and was done quickly.

John was very professional, arrived on time - and confirmed appointment time the day prior. Project went smoothly, exactly as he described at our initial consult and price was exactly as estimated. Very happy to have found a reliable plumber - it is clear after meeting John that he is very knowledgeable and knows what he's doing.

John and Chris were able to eliminate my drain problem in a short amount of time, I had one of the other local companies here first, but they wanted 3x the money to fix the same issue! I'll definitely be using John and the team at Plumbing and Drain Professionals from now on! Thank you for taking care of my plumbing!

Their 'office' is poorly run. Make a lot of empty promises, don't return calls and etc. Never know when they'll show up and I would not call in an emergency. All that said once the guys are finally  on site they do good work. They don't fool around, always find the problem, and explain things well. They are local people and very good prices, good work just frustrating to deal with.

I read the other reviews on their page, they may be good at plumbing, but not at showing up. I was quoted a two hour window two days in a row, the first day I waited 4 hours and had to leave, they contacted me and offered a discount of the inconvenience and quoted a two hour window for the next day, again, a no show. Unless you have a lot of time to wait around, wouldn't recommend these guys.

I hired Riteway Plumbing, Tim, to do a residential plumbing job, he came, looked around, quoted me, and said he needed to come back to do any work, but that I needed to pay half up front for supplies. I paid him $700. Plus the service fee to come look of $85. He took the money and ran! When trying to get my money back, after work never being done HE suggested giving me a full refund. For 3 weeks he then lied saying he had mailed the check. Never did. Eventually he then said he did not have the money to send. For 3 Additional weeks I tried to get my refund. Now he has blocked my number, calls and text and will not respond. Stole $785 never did any work.
I had seen the other reviews online (which were not great but I hired him anyways) Now after being ripped off, and filing complaint against him I have seen Several Similar recent Criminal reports on him at BBB and Ohio Attorney General. I wish I had seen these beforehand. Warning anyone else: Do Not let him Steal your money too!
Lastly, obviously above is main reason to not hire him but in general he also was not professional or friendly. Initially when he came to my house he was just rude, acted like he was annoyed with me for even 'bothering' him and seemed angry about possibly having to even do work - I blew this off thinking not much of it but looking back should of been my red flag.
