Best Drywall Installation in Chicago IL

I've used Fixer to work on a couple of things around my house and they've been fine with basic handyman work. However, my most recent experience has been a nightmare that I have to share with the community.

I had a porch swing that needed to be rehung. I asked before booking Fixer if this was within their scope and they said that it was. The handyman they sent was clearly in over his head, unable to complete the task, and actually ended up causing damage to my porch roof. When I asked Fixer to evaluate the damage and work on a solution, they sent another handyman out to simply rehang the swing instead of evaluating the damage caused by the previous staff member.

After I sent Fixer photos of the damage, they insisted that the damage was already there or caused by someone else and not their employee. This is a common tactic from companies that frankly aren't trustworthy and I was surprised they responded this way. As a return customer, I was disappointed by the lack of accountability from Fixer. Unfortunately, when something goes wrong with their work, Fixer will refuse to take responsibility and leave you holding the bag for repairing damage their employees caused. Please look for other handyman services and avoid this company.

Fixer did an excellent job replacing the basement front door on my house.
The door is not standard dimensions, so the job took two steps:
1. Have Fixer order the door and wait for it to come in
2. Have Fixer pick up the door from Home Depot, abd Fixer install the door.

Talk about LIFE SAVERS!!

Leaking bathroom sink: Fixed.
Kitchen sink clogged, needs to be rodded: Fixed.
Kitchen stove needs to be re-connected to gas line: Fixed.

My wife and I just closed on a property and needed multiple jobs completed in one of our units. We were in a panic and sent out multiple requests late in the night the previous day.

Easy Work was the first to respond, and after talking to multiple companies, had the best price!

Working with Jon and his wife Leena was an absolute joy. Jon is a master of his craft and Leena not only helps when needed but does an amazing job answering questions and conversing with you while the work is occurring.

Friendly, fast and very knowledgeable.  We needed a handyman to come and re-attach our stove hood that fell off the wall the previous night.  Andrew was here the next morning and fixed it better than before.  Would definitely use him again.

Jason was absolutely terrific. He came today to fix a broken fence gate and a cabinet that other handymen weren't able to repair. He was fantastic to work with and I plan to call him for all of our future projects. Highly recommend!

When other handymen refused to work on my job, Rob stepped up with his crew to get it done.  Alex was great when he showed up and got things done quickly.

I would recommend them and use them again.

I called for information on recaulking and was give an hourly rate.  Kevin wasn't available for several days, but I said I would discuss the cost with my husband.  Kevin called a couple of days later and I told him my husband wanted to give the project a try himself.  Well that didn't work, so I called Kevin again to let him know we would like him to come out after all.  I'm disappointed I didn't hear back from him.  It would be nice to have a reliable handyman close by.
