Excellent and quick work...at a fair price! Can't ask for more!! Owner was friendly and listened to my issues I was having with my phone...a too rare event in today's hurry-it-up environment.

I asked on my neighborhood Facebook page for references for ac repairman. I was actually given a different guy's name and he ended up sending me Kelvin with Rivera's Home Improvement! After meeting and doing business with Kelvin, I know it was divine intervention, because he was a God send! I ended up needing a new unit outside. Which could have been stressful to even think about due to expenses, but Kelvin is as honest as they come and doing business with him was a true blessing to me and my family. I now have a new unit, 2 days later. He showed up first thing in the morning just like he promised and my home is currently cooling in the low 70's and I now have a new 10 year warranty on my unit! I will never call anyone else about ac/heating ever again! I can't praise him or his company enough! No stress involved! I highly recommend him for your ac/heating work! You'll be glad you did

Neil performed a toilet installation and installed some spacers between the back of the tank and the wall upon my request.  My appointment was on short notice since the old toilet was leaking, so he had to return a few days later for the spacers.  Mr. Neil was punctual and communicative about his ETA for both appointments, removed the old toilet (and schlepped the new one up a flight of stairs), and cleaned up the work area. I do plan to hire him again for future projects.  His rates were very reasonable and this is a great way to support a local, BIPOC-owned business.  I will follow up with photos of future projects as appropriate.

This was not the first time I have used them and will not be the last.  From multiple broken pipes, to faucet leaks, to AC help, to most recently the hot water heater.  I love these guys.  They are caring, knowledgeable, and quick to get the job done.  When they come to service your home they make you feel like the only customer for the day and go above and beyond.  When installing my hot water heater that is next to my dryer they took the time to help me with my lint trap and went the extra mile with sweeping behind the dryer to clean it up. (Not even their mess). I would recommend these guys and will only use them moving forward.

We are so pleased with the service provided by this company. Our system went kaput a week ago, and we were quoted astronomical pricing by other companies. I was feeling like we were being taken advantage of because it was still really warm outside and we were in desperate need to have the work completed.

Our new irrigation system install and setup was done with great care and excellent work by the entire crew. They were friendly and helpful in answering all our questions with the new setup. We are military and, as most know, moving and finding professional and quality help can take time and connections, which is hard when you move from place to place and have to rely on recommendations online...and I can easily recommend this company. I called Cecilia's Home Repairs at 8:30am and by 9am Anthony was at my door to help me with my issue. When I called Cecilia's my call was answered quickly and I was given an accurate quote over the phone for the work I requested. I had spilled some pop and it seeped into the area around my kitchen island and an ant family had found it. I needed my dishwasher pulled out and trim replaced (I ripped it off and I had no clue how to put it back). Anthony skillfully pulled the dishwasher out and worked on cleaning and prepping the trim for reinstallation. On the phone I told the man that I have allergies and cannot tolerate strong odors and he said I could use my own products to kill and repel the ants. Anthony patiently waited for me to spray, vacuum, and lay down a barrier for the ants behind the dishwasher. He helped me by giving me light to the area I was working in. Afterwards he placed the dishwasher back, started it for me and put the trim back to look good as new. I couldn't believe the quality of work that was done in under an hour and for such a good price! I am not someone who can DIY and I will definitely be calling and requesting Anthony to come back out when we inevitably have something else that needs fixing in our house :) Thank you, Anthony and Cecilia's!

After half a dozen electricians turned us down, Louis from Get Lit had us up and running on a Saturday afternoon. We'll always get  lit with Get Lit!

I needed a new water heater which they put in. Problem was the roof vent ended up being loose and they sent Richie who told me it is supposed to lean and move with the wind which is a lie. That vent has NEVER leaned. I spoke to Richies boss, Joel who was very rude and dismissive to me. After all the work they had done in my home, I find it unacceptable to be treated like that. They will never get a recommendation from me again. I even sent a review to their Quality Dept. but they never responded to me.
Not a good way to do business.

They quoted three times the amount to fix something as compared to Norfolk Plumbing. Their figure was not based on hours labor and parts, but rather a swag at what they think it should cost to fix. Also the diagnostics fee is $69, however they do not advertise this when setting up an appointment. Recommend using a different plumber.
