ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER
Started in the housing industry at age 10 helping do anything. Helped uncle Dick rewire our home. Worked with contractors during the summers. Attend Lenape Voteck carpentry/cabinet making in Pa. Student work program senior year 1981 at a cabinet shop. Attended Triangle Tech in Pittsburgh for HVAC 1985. Worked in appliance repair wile in school. Moved to VA 1986, worked apartment maintenance to supervisor 6 years, convenience store maintenance, renovations and building 6 years. started FIX IT officially April 1 1996.

Jan-Feb 2023: He completed 15 projects at my house to include new bedroom addition, door installation, sheet rock repair, sewer clean out covering, and more. Sir Fix It literally knows how to do everything.
Sir Fix it is professional, trustworthy, on-time, fast, a great no-nonsense communicator, and an expert in his field. He truly cares about the homeowner and health of the property. Sir Fix It's workmanship is EXCELLENT and his prices are unbeatable. I could go on singing praises.

Tim is a big deal! He gave me a specific time he'd arrive (I didn't have to sit at home for a 4-6 hour waiting period or ANY period of time); he was on time; he was professional; he is very capable (located & fixed toilet leak that previous plumbers couldn't troubleshoot) and removed and replaced substandard caulking around tub, and additional caulking where linoleum floor met tub. His fee was reasonable and my house is now ready for open house sale this weekend! He is a gem of a contractor!
As a landlord I've found that it's very hard to find trustworthy, reliable contractors. Our tenants called to say they needed the front door replaced and I called Sir Fix It, Tim was super responsive and was out at the unit within a few days. He examined the door and let know that it really just needed new weather stripping and wrapping around the door jams.
He saved us hundreds of dollars and had the work done immediately! He was great at communicating throughout the whole process and was very easy to work with. I'd highly recommend him.
Hands down the best contractor we've ever had. Our porch was literally bouncing and chipping away. He was able to look at the deck and quote very quickly. He walked us through all of our options, gave us his recommendations with pros and cons of each option. He saved as much of our old deck as possible to save us money and rebuilt the entire thing in less than a week. He was kind, funny, professional and did really thorough work. He even gave us tips on how to maintain our porch. He did such an excellent job we have him rebuilding our deck now and plan on having him do a few other projects as well!
Called and sent a email asking for a quote and I never heard back. After many more months I still have not heard anything back.

I hired Tim to install new vinyl posts/railings to our front porch and back steps to our sunroom. He also installed new lvp flooring and repaired the ceiling due to water leaks in our sunroom. I must say that I was truly impressed by his skills, thoroughness, communication, and professionalism. He takes pride in his work and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Highly recommend!

Excellent and quick work...at a fair price! Can't ask for more!! Owner was friendly and listened to my issues I was having with my phone...a too rare event in today's hurry-it-up environment.
