First call was to Mrs. Dood she was very nice & helpful and told us that be out at 3pm they showed up 15 minutes early. Had me up and running in 45 minutes Mr. Dood and his technician where honest and very fair priced and knowledgeable We will definitely be using there service again and recommend them to anyone else!

Jim Bertolino is one of the most HONEST plumbers we have had the pleasure of working with. We called him out for a whole home low pressure issue and the problem was resolved quickly. While there were no repairs needed for what the issue was, Jim took the time to explain and educate my husband and I on the systems at our property (which he installed 12 years ago)! We are now more comfortable with the plumbing/water and backflow valve we have all because of the information he gave us in great detail. If you need a backflow inspection (annually by the city) then he is your guy, the price is more than 50% less than what a well-known company here charges for the same service. A friend in construction sent this plumber to my house to give me an estimate for a job I might potentially do through her company.   A year later, I'm a getting a bill saying they snaked my bathroom tub line when they never did.  I am utterly confused as to why someone would say that they snaked my line when they didn't.  I didn't even need my line snaked.  I just wanted an estimate for a small bathroom reno.

Had Bill and Moris come out  to fix my A/C problem of no cooling action. The service was very professional, prompt, and fast. They carefully checked the unit for other issues and found another problem of low freon. They showed me the gauges and explained their readings before and after putting freon.
This was especially appreciated since the refrigerant is considerable addition to the total cost.
While being very efficient in their work, they didn't rush and answered a couple of my general A/C question and mentioned what to watch out for as freon leaks.
The price was very reasonable and for such a professional service I was happy to pay. Will definitely call on this business should I have other problems in their area of expertise. Thanks much, Bill and Moris!

I asked on my neighborhood Facebook page for references for ac repairman. I was actually given a different guy's name and he ended up sending me Kelvin with Rivera's Home Improvement! After meeting and doing business with Kelvin, I know it was divine intervention, because he was a God send! I ended up needing a new unit outside. Which could have been stressful to even think about due to expenses, but Kelvin is as honest as they come and doing business with him was a true blessing to me and my family. I now have a new unit, 2 days later. He showed up first thing in the morning just like he promised and my home is currently cooling in the low 70's and I now have a new 10 year warranty on my unit! I will never call anyone else about ac/heating ever again! I can't praise him or his company enough! No stress involved! I highly recommend him for your ac/heating work! You'll be glad you did

These guys showed up to my property to work on a sewer easement that ran through my yard. The excavator operator said he was going to be digging a trench through my yard. I asked about utility connections such as power and electrical. He said it wasn't his problem since it was an easement. They finally got the utilities marked but gave me no opportunity to mark a private water line and proceeded to dig right through it. No notice given at all. Just a cocky IDGAF attitude with no regard for private utilities.

I am so grateful to have Andrew G. as my plumber. He was very knowledgeable in his area of expertise. He heard all of my complaints and was eager to help. Everything was complete beyond my expectations and right on the spot. I didn't have to reschedule or anything. I really appreciate the work and service Andrew has provided. He has truly offered me and my family a piece of mind knowing everything is completed to the highest standard. I would call on him again and most definitely recommend him to friends and family.

Do not hire them. I think he is a scam artist! He was hired to do a small job in tore up my entire floor, which cost me $5000 out of my own pocket because he kept the rest of the insurance money saying he spent it on plumbing. I had somebody go into the house after him and a lot of the things that he said he did we're not done.

I'm only comfortable with this one star because I was told the technician was very nice. However, my tenant had a very slow draining kitchen sink, which we snaked several times so we knew it had to be something different than a clog. When I called, they were very quick to schedule, which was great, but they neglected to let me know what I would be billed for or that I'd be required to pay at the time of service. I confirmed the phone number and the appointment and went about my day.

Flash forward to appointment day: They called my parent's home phone number- where I don't even live- to let my mom know they were on the way for the appointment. I never provided their number, only the address to make my house easier to find (it is next door).  Luckily my mom was there so she walked them to the house.

The technician was there for about an hour and said they thought the pipe fitting was the wrong size. Those pipes are original to the house and have worked perfect. They were willing to come back out to replace it for close to $700.00.... did you catch that?? $700.00!!

Then after not even fixing the issue, they promptly billed my mom for $223.50. Ridiculous! They charged me for their drive to Williamsburg, which they advertise servicing, and incorrectly assessed the problem. I had another plumber come out to fix the actual problem, he was there for 1/2 a day and only charged $160.00.

There were all kinds of things wrong with this situation and I hope anybody reading this really takes caution, should they still decide to go with A-1.
