Of course the AC breaks when my husband is not here! Mrs. Dodd was so helpful when I called. She walked me through some things on the phone just to make sure it wasn't a breaker or something simple. Mr. Dodd arrived on time, prepared and very knowledgeable. He had exactly what we needed. Very fair and accommodating on a hot Saturday. Exactly the personal service I was looking for from a small business. We will use them again and I highly recommend.

I asked on my neighborhood Facebook page for references for ac repairman. I was actually given a different guy's name and he ended up sending me Kelvin with Rivera's Home Improvement! After meeting and doing business with Kelvin, I know it was divine intervention, because he was a God send! I ended up needing a new unit outside. Which could have been stressful to even think about due to expenses, but Kelvin is as honest as they come and doing business with him was a true blessing to me and my family. I now have a new unit, 2 days later. He showed up first thing in the morning just like he promised and my home is currently cooling in the low 70's and I now have a new 10 year warranty on my unit! I will never call anyone else about ac/heating ever again! I can't praise him or his company enough! No stress involved! I highly recommend him for your ac/heating work! You'll be glad you did

We highly recommend A.B. Parker and Sons! They are very professional, courteous, and extremely helpful when it comes to service and customer care. They came out quickly after our AC went out and fixed the problem immediately. Their prices are extremely reasonable and we plan to use them for additional electrical and plumbing issues we have been meaning to fix in our home!

I put a quote request on yelp through a different plumbing company and cecilias was the only company that gave me a flat rate at a fair price. Anthony was prompt and able to come over to fix our toilet. We were having reoccurring issues with it backing up every time I ran the washer or dishwasher. He was able to give us the reasoning behind it and went straight to work. He was done in no time. Probably the best plumber we've had out here that was extremely knowledable, fast, and efficient without charging an arm and a leg. Highly recommend!

First time ever calling a plumber. And they came out the sane day! Had issue with drain flies. Came out and identified that my kitchen plumbing was installed wrong. They replaced it with an hour - and we found lots of trapped food and gunk in the pipes! Now I have better draining water - more space under my sink and No more drain flies! Great tech and reasonable price. I definitely recommend these guys.

Shawn is the best! We recently bought a year-round house in Point Harbor, and we were lucky to find him to take care of a slew of small problems before they became big ones. He also saved us a lot of money by fixing a jetted tub that we thought was hopeless, and by quickly finding and fixing a pipe problem this winter that could have ruined our well pump. His work is excellent and his prices are fair. We use him for all of our plumbing work and recommend him to all our friends.

I wish that I could give them 10 stars; it is so nice to know that there are still companies out there that offer quality work for reasonable prices and have truly professional employees that will go above and beyond to give their customers outstanding service.

I purchased a house that was built in 1939 and discovered that the 3-prong outlets that had been installed were just replacements - the wiring had never been updated and they were not really grounded. Other outlets that I needed for appliances were still the 2-prong type; at the very least I needed get those switched out so that I could plug in my stove.

I called Conyers based on the reviews here and pictures of their work on FB. They were out the next day; Henry was on time, thorough and efficient in his inspection of the panel and the outlets.

Since NONE of the outlets were grounded, I decided to bite the bullet and have the house completely rewired; The price was competitive and Steve was readily available by phone (even outside of typical business hours) if I needed to speak with him. Henry was on site every day, overseeing the crew while they were working, and the entire team was very accommodating and respectful with regards to requests or questions I had.

Bonus: They cleaned up after themselves! (Many of you may be thinking - Well, yes, they're SUPPOSED to clean up after themselves... but I had some recent dealings with other contractors whose idea of cleaning up was, at best, a joke. These guys REALLY cleaned up after themselves.)

I am COMPLETELY satisfied with the work, have told everyone that I know about their company and work ethic and will definitely call them in the future for any electrical work that I need done.

I had an emergent a/c issue and call. I spoke to the receptionist who told me they couldn't get anyone out until 5pm, but if something became available, they would call me, and they ACTUALLY DID!! Twice as a matter of fact!

Found this gem while looking on Yelp.  Very responsive, heard back from them in minutes.  Ron called prior to coming and was on time.  Very considerate of my time as I had an appointment and gave a very honest estimate.  My outside faucet was ancient and the handle disintegrated.  I was unable to shut it off completely as the screw was stripped.

Ron came out the next day, on time with a call first.  Very professional and got us back in order in no time.  The price was the same as the estimate.  No double talk or price gouging added.  I also appreciated the professionalism from Ron.  Other plumbing companies need to take a page from his book.  First class setvice!  I will be using kings again!

Jason's an awesome guy and offers a fair price. Had him come and diagnose a leak in my house. Come to find out it was an HVAC issues. But he explained everything to me clearly so I was able to understand what was going on and also recommended an HVAC guy who came and resolved the issues. Jason was responsive and communicated with my the time he was available. Will definitely be contacting him again it I have any other issues.

Bill Martin is a trustworthy and reliable HVAC and plumbing specialist. I would recommend him to anyone in need of this type of service.

Jim Bertolino is one of the most HONEST plumbers we have had the pleasure of working with. We called him out for a whole home low pressure issue and the problem was resolved quickly. While there were no repairs needed for what the issue was, Jim took the time to explain and educate my husband and I on the systems at our property (which he installed 12 years ago)! We are now more comfortable with the plumbing/water and backflow valve we have all because of the information he gave us in great detail. If you need a backflow inspection (annually by the city) then he is your guy, the price is more than 50% less than what a well-known company here charges for the same service. Jim Bertolino & Son Plumbing and Drain Service will be the first we call from now on and the first company I recommend to family, friends and neighbors. Thank you for being a friendly, transparent, reputable company!!

Dante Taylor advised he was licensed and stared work to replace my sewer line in Norfolk on my rental property and knew we lived in another state which he took advantage of.  He did not get a permit but advised us he did, lied to us of the cost he supposedly paid for the permit & requested additional money. Someone called the city and he got mad and blamed my tenant, he was mad because that's when we found out he didn't have a permit or licensed, then he stopped answering our phone calls & texts. We're out of a lot of money. Found out a lot of other bad information by trying to get additional information to take him to court. Always check with BBB before hiring a business.

Had a plumbing emergency with my sink and it's of course Sunday. I called A1 who said they could be out from 4-6 which was 2 hours from the time I called but the Pat was able to be here 10 minutes after I called! Pat is my hero! I literally had a science experiment in my sink from trying to use drain cleaner that didn't work. He cleared the issue within the hour. After hours service has a price but it was worth it! I will use this company again for sure!!

I was very dissatisfied with the service American Mechanical provided to my Condo Community and will never use them again for taking advantage of us. Not only did they rip up the middle of our neighborhood and leave it a total mess, they showed an extreme lack of professionalism through the whole process. They cut electrical lines and buried them purposefully leaving much of the general lighting out in our neighborhood. We were told the land would be cleared and be left rough grade, yet there are differences between the leveling of the ground by multiple feet in many areas. The area looks horrible and debris was left everywhere. Worst of all they left exposed rusty rebar that I stepped on taking out forcing me out of work and sending me to the doctor for a tetanus shot and closing of the wound. Kids in our neighborhood could have stepped on this and they have shown zero remorse.  The company made many promises and failed on them all. When the issues were pointed out instead of helping to resolve the issue, they blamed our community. I own my own company and any company that shows a lack for safety, lack of care for their customers, & does not take responsibility when they mess up is not a company you want to be doing business with.

American Mechanical will probably respond below with a bunch of crap why its not their problem. Again, just take responsibility and stop being a business that takes advantage of small communities.

I was very disappointed in this company. My AC unit was not shutting  off when the inside unit cut off . They wanted to charge me over 700.00 to replace the wiring in the unit. Two of their  service men came over on separate times  and give the same quote. My husband said there was no way that replacing wiring would be that much. We ended up getting another company come over the same day for another  quote, come to find out the wiring did not needed to be replace it was the thermostats that needed to be replace. I saved over 500.00 with the other company. My advice, don't let this company do any work on your property unless you get a second opinion..

They do not do work up to code, steal tools and personal property and never finish a job that they are paid for. Jason and Melissa are both con artists. They were paid in full for a job and didn't even complete it. On top of stealing over 1k of items from the home. The owner of the trailer is not happy, never was. Took them to court and they never showed but were quick to file bankruptcy to clear the judgement.

Do not hire them. I think he is a scam artist! He was hired to do a small job in tore up my entire floor, which cost me $5000 out of my own pocket because he kept the rest of the insurance money saying he spent it on plumbing. I had somebody go into the house after him and a lot of the things that he said he did we're not done.
