Best Commercial Services in Buffalo NY
I cannot say enough about this company. They came to our house and serviced our furnace. They were very courteous and explained every move they made. The furnace then had another issue later in the night and I was able to text them and they came out first thing in the morning. They were awesome to replace the part for free. I feel confident that if I have any problems with my furnace, I can trust Towlson to come out and give me an honest evaluation and provide integral service! Thank you so much for making what can be a nerve wracking experience into to an assurance that my home is warm and my family is safe!!!

I requested an estimate to demolish our old garage and build a new one. Hub came to our house and did a thorough evaluation. He even came back (the next day) with his concrete guy to look at the existing and crumbling concrete floor. Finally, he provided an written estimate for the total project cost. We haven't decided yet to do this project but I was impressed with Hub Chan. Professional and responsive.

I was contacted immediately, and given an estimate for the cat enclosure I had been trying to get built for two months.
The price quoted was extremely fair and much thought was put into the execution of the project. The job was completed two days later, and it turned out perfectly. I would recommend this company wholeheartedly, and plan to hire them again.

Just had a new hot water heater installed and a clog cleared. Not very happy with the service. The short version is that I felt kind of railroaded and possibly taken advantage of. The long version to follow:
I had a leaky hot water tank and this company came recommended. When the guy showed up I took him to it and left him to do his work. When I next looked in, I see him already carrying a new hot water tank in to install. No consultation. No Yeah, it's beyond repair, it has to be replaced. No discussion of brand, size, performance, etc. They installed an AO Smith--I have no idea how this brand compares but I'd read a lot of complaints about them on another site so I'm a little dubious. But what if I wanted to take the opportunity to invest and upgrade to tankless or something? What if I had stronger opinions about what brand should be installed? Some discussion would have been nice before I'm handed the $950 bill for the heater and installation (plus more for the clog situation). It seems that other brands with comparable specs go for $400 to $500 uninstalled, so I feel like I could have saved money (and maybe gotten a better product if the negative reviews about AO Smith are correct) if I had gone somewhere else. At least I might have felt more consulted and less taken advantage of. I'm extremely non-confrontational, so some of this may be my fault--I should have called a halt to things when I saw the new hot water heater coming in.
Oh, and he left it pretty filthy down there. Lots of dirty water on the floor all around the new install that I had to clean up.

VERY disappointed with Aslan. My elderly mother has called multiple times for service and has been either ignored or put off. The tech actually told her that he's not very good at returning calls. How do you stay in business with such awful customer service?!

I have been dealing with these guys for a few years now . They are reasonable and reliable . The guys have always done a great job when they have come to my home . I have recommended them to my friends and coworkers .

been waiting for Roto Rooter to come by for 2 days . I don't know why they even have you make an appointment. This isn't the first time they were a no call no show. I won't use them again

I called this company to come out to check out an issue I was having. They showed up 2 hours late for my appointment, were not fully prepared with supplies needed to fully explore the issue and once the issue was found stated they'd draw up quote for me with 2 options on how to proceed to fix the issue. This was on a Friday so I called midway through the following week to see if they had a quote for me ready yet. Their response was: no quote, they didn't even have notes that i was waiting for a quote and by the way we lost the check you gave us to pay for the service performed. I told them to look for the check and call me back with the quote. A week later, I called again, still no quote, will get right on it. Still no check. This went on for a few weeks but I gave them the benefit of the doubt as they came highly recommended to me by a coworker. Finally a month after the initial appointment, they called because they found my check and asked if i had stopped payment on it yet. I then asked about this quote I've been waiting on. Nope, no quote, and the guy that apparently does the quotes is on vacation and for another week and a half. Moving on to someone else, can't wait any longer. Never Again!

The absolute worst. Took 5 visits to try and fix a shower handle. After 5 visits I fired him and hired a competent contractor to fix his mistakes. He says he's going to be there and then no show, or call (twice). Brought his 7 year old son to the job for my wife to babysit while he worked. Black grime all over my drywall and shower enclosure. Solder drippings all over the carpet in the closet. He borrowed my flashlight and broke my drill bits and never replaced them. I wouldn't even hire this guy to change the washer on my garden hose. Proceed very cautiously with this company and hire at your own risk. No professionalism at all.

I paid $270 for a service call to clean and reassemble the burner on my hot water heater. When the pilot light when out the next day and I couldn't get it to light I called them back. They returned late for an appointment, then gave me an estimate on a gas valve and burner totaling more than $900! When I told them I was going to purchase a water heater from a store, the technician gave me an estimate of $700 for an installation of a customer supplied water heater! My neighbor referred me to another plumber.

I found Roto Rooter via a 3rd party internet referral service used to get work prospects.
The phone attendant refused to give me a quote or any estimate Thinking Roto Rooter was competitive, I scheduled a simple clogged kitchen drain. I removed the traps and knew where the problem was but didn't have access to an auger/snake.
The technician arrived within an hour or so. I had gone to work and my wife was home to handle the transaction. She was informed of the price up front but in not on tune with the price of home repairs. The technician worked for less than 20 minutes and was onsite for less than a half an hour. The charge was $365 plus tax. No parts, just labor.
My wife called me to let me know the charge and I was floored! I called 3 local plumbers afterward and was quoted between $175 and $225 unless they ran into difficulties or issues.
Brian from the local RotoRooter called me back today and gave me the standard corporate BS about your competitive rates and how they rate each job individually. I told him it's a 20 minute drive from Niagara Falls NY to Lewiston NY and that the plumber was there for a total of 20-25 minutes ( I was at work and feel my wife was taken advantage of du to the urgency). I had opened the traps and no parts were needed. $365 for labor? I am a fool for not shopping around or calling a local guy. Shame on me.
As a 40+ year homeowner, I have NEVER been so disappointed and angry at a home repair cost.

Have used in past with out issue. Today have full house back up, called hours ago and made emergency appointment. Appointment between 3-5 today. Very happy with that.
they call at 2:30 and inform me the appointment has been moved to next Friday. Like that would be ok with anyone. And then made some statement that discounts offered do not apply.
promply hung up and will never call again. The thought of trying to find plumber now at 3 pm. When I called them around 10 am. They stink big time!
