Best Generator Installation in Washington DC
The company was very responsive and understanding as I was a bit late to show up bc of childcare.
And the gentleman came was vey nice and knowledgeable. But here's why I give it 3 stars bc I was very much blindsided and backed into a corner in price!
Originally I was quoted a fee of 69 dollars to see what the issue was. Then I was told I would be able to decide what from there if I wanted to take the repairs or not.
Well the gentleman went to the AC unit outback and wasn't there more than 30 minutes. Replaced whatever part and came back told me the issue.... When I asked ok so what do we need to do- he said he took care of it bc the cost of the part wasn't much for the company to pay for. Meaning the part was minor....
But then I get charged a 300 dollar bill! See that's why I have a problem. Before you do something please discuss this with the person first. Not a lot of people have 300 just lying around. Quite honestly I wanted to compare prices. I think we all have that right. I wasn't given the chance. And since I had screaming kids and dinner needed to be made I felt a little forced to just comply. Well I definitely was forced bc he already did the service...
I would have still paid had he told me up front, however that doesn't change the fact you had to at least tell me first. Very sneaky.
Again he was great and very approachable. Showed me a few things to keep in mind on the unit. - but none of that changes the the price was more forced since he went ahead and just fixed it without checking...
Definitely keep this in mind when booking with these bigger companies...
I should of went with my gut and found a local handy man.

The company reached out to me after seeing the review. I appreciate their understanding and acknowledge where the fault came. I never had that happened before. They even took the time to refund me my money (which wasn't my intent at all because we did need our AC repaired). But what a blessing that was- more so I really love that they took the time to really hear my concern and are working to make it better.
This definitely makes a difference and I would use them again( I would just make sure what I need to know - is known before hand)

I hired a Chantilly company called Airbenders to replace the HVAC unit in my home before OHA purchased the company. The owner did not give me the lowest estimate, but he treated me kindly and respectfully when he came to my home. I like the unit; however, the technicians damaged my home. Then, they would not make the repairs or clean up after themselves. After OHA's quality control officer found out about the problem, she contacted me by phone and promised to make it right. Today, Cody came to my home and identified the issue with my unit. He was on point, polite, and willing to explain the details in a direct manner. He also brought a gentleman with him to repair the previous damage to my home, which he did. I was blown away by how serious the company was about making everything right. I started today hopeful and am ending it not just satisfied, but impressed.

I've had a close relationship with this company for many years and have been very happy. They have repaired and replaced plumbing, such as my kitchen and bathroom faucets and shower head. I'm gearing up to have them replace another bathroom fixture set as I am remodeling. Looking forward to working with them again. The plumbing manager, Danny, has been extremely helpful and knowledgable. Love the Nugent family!

Plumbing review: *** (3 stars) Very expensive, on-time, no unexpected charges, professional. Like some of the other review, the technician pulled out a huge binder with lots of expensive prices. But we were in a hurry and thought they would do a good job
Electrician review: *** (3 stars) Very expensive, on-time, no unexpected charges. Charged 150 to check for a gas leak. Thought that was high. Again was in a hurry and thought they would do a good job
Handyman review: * (1 star), I wish I could give it a 0. It's been horrible and frustrating.
- Very expensive, we are in a hurry to sell our home and wanted guaranteed work done professionally and on time so we were willing to go along with higher prices.
- work was not done on time - tasks that were scheduled to take 1 day total, is now up to 3 days and that's spread over a 3 week span. I don't think the estimator knows how long things are supposed to take.
- office staff was was incompetent when it came to making sure an appointment was in the books and it took a week to send us an estimate and that's with phone call prodding. 3 times a technician was supposed to come out to finish the work and either they did not come out or the office had no record of an appointment. You also have to go through two operators to get someone in the Handyman department. It's frustrating.
- full amount of charges were charged to my credit card even though the work was not complete (which is against what they say is their policy)
- the manager's solution to this was to give me a 10% discount on the total charge and the technician just told me that it's coming out of his check! Not the correct place since the whole operation is run terribly.
