Stokes plumbing squeezed me in on short notice and identified the problem on first attempt. Very knowledgeable, fair prices, and good people overall. I will use them in the future. I highy recommend them.

Jason's an awesome guy and offers a fair price. Had him come and diagnose a leak in my house. Come to find out it was an HVAC issues. But he explained everything to me clearly so I was able to understand what was going on and also recommended an HVAC guy who came and resolved the issues. Jason was responsive and communicated with my the time he was available. Will definitely be contacting him again it I have any other issues.

Woke up this morning with water in my bathtub and toilet that wouldnt flush after roommate used shower upstairs. I could not stay home in the morning or daytime to get it fixed due to work. Got home at 4:30, called 2 other companies. One's machine was broke, another's pricing structure gave me a headache. Then I called rotorooter. I got a courtesy call around 8:00 saying they were sorry no one had come out yet but the gentleman coming out was finishing up a job and would be at my house shortly and that they would call when he was en route. Which they did again at 8:30. He arrived around  9pm, which is fine by me since I didnt call till 4:30.  Mr. Robert was very professional and friendly. He explained my options.  He began digging and to my surprise quickly dug a 4 foot deep hole to the main line in front yard, cracked open the ancient terra cotta line and fixed the stoppage (FYI disposable wipes are not very disposable.)  My other option was to take the toilet out and go in that way. I asked Mr.Robert which way would have been easier, he said the way he did it. I am not sure about that with all the digging he did but am grateful for all his hard work. I have never seen a hole dug so quick in my life, much less through azalea bush roots everywhere. The price was not as shocking as I expected, which helps more than anyone could imagine. At this point I am satisfied with the Performance of the work! This was the only company that I actually got a real person answer upon calling. Seth was on the way within 10 minutes of the call.  He came and quickly got to work with his assistant.  They wore shoe covers and were very neat with their work, cleaning up afterwards. (Not that there was a mess ).  The only thing that does not make this a 5 star is the cost.  I thought it was kinda steep but then I needed them and they were the only response.
I would call them again though.

Fast service appointment setup even during the Christmas holiday week. Friendly and efficient service technicians. Great desk help for follow up with our home warranty company for the hot water heater.

I contacted Atlantic Plumbing for an estimate to add a new gas line to our house. We agreed on a day for them to come out and they called that day and said they were on their way. We never heard from them again. I contacted them four times after that to find out why - three times by phone, leaving a message each time, and the fourth time via their website. I never got a response from any of my repeated requests to contact me.

I can't recall a company with a more bizarre approach to conducting business.

They showed up early to the job. When it turned out to be more complicated than originally thought they didn't try to nickel and dime us. Did excellent work, would use again. Had A-1 Sewer and Drain come out first on a Saturday and was told they'd call back with a quote on Monday morning. Been two weeks and still waiting on that call.

Had a plumbing emergency with my sink and it's of course Sunday. I called A1 who said they could be out from 4-6 which was 2 hours from the time I called but the Pat was able to be here 10 minutes after I called! Pat is my hero! I literally had a science experiment in my sink from trying to use drain cleaner that didn't work. He cleared the issue within the hour. After hours service has a price but it was worth it! I will use this company again for sure!!

I can't begin to explain our happy I am that I DID NOT use this company and went with a strictly plumbing company for my sewage drain issue within my slab. I was quoted a ridiculous amount of money for work I later would discover I did not need. That estimate also entailed a considerable amount of contracting work I would need to have done when they finished which meant much more money. When I did not want to sign the contract on the spot, I was told I would have sewage coming up through my drains. Six months later, no sewage ever came up through my drains, the work was done at a third of the price and much less intrusively in my house. Please, take my word-get a second opinion or don't let them in your house to begin with!!!

The salespeople they have in their store are so much more knowledgeable than your standard Home Depot/Lowes employee that it is not even comparable. I brought in a random trim piece that I had removed from my shower and the gentleman at the counter had found the match in his book within seconds. When I had previously brought the same piece to Lowes, they recommended I try here.

So, I give 4 stars to their salesroom for having knowledgeable, helpful employees.

I found them to be very expensive.  I made the mistake of not having a clear understanding up front of what they were to charge.  They then attempted to charge interest not supported by any agreement.

A solo plumber recommended A-Hampton Roads Plumbing to me, and they came several times when my sewer pipe kept getting blocked (mid-January 2021-mid-February). They finally used their camera and discovered that the old cast iron pipe was disintegrating and needed to be replaced. Because they had diagnosed the issue and had not charged me extra for the trips they made to jet out my line, they were the first company I asked for an estimate. The dispatcher said someone would be out that Friday (no one came), then on Monday, but no one ever showed up and no one ever called me back.

When sewage came up into my shower the fourth time, I called, and the after-hours person told me she'd have the emergency on-call plumber call me. No call back. I gave up trying to reach them because I had an emergency on my hands and they were not responsive.

This company has some great plumbers, but communications from the front office is abysmal. For this reason, I cannot recommend them. I hope they'll remedy this problem. Good communications is the hallmark of any good business.

I have used AT Large Plumbing twice. One both occasions they were quick, professional, clean and fair. 2nd job had to be quoted (due to cost ) the job was completed in a timely manner and well under their quote.  I will not hesitate to call them again.

They do not do work up to code, steal tools and personal property and never finish a job that they are paid for. Jason and Melissa are both con artists. They were paid in full for a job and didn't even complete it. On top of stealing over 1k of items from the home. The owner of the trailer is not happy, never was. Took them to court and they never showed but were quick to file bankruptcy to clear the judgement.
