James Cash from Seatown has been an absolute pleasure to work with.  Allied with a great work ethic, James has something that can sometimes be in short supply among the technically competent: creative thinking.  He understands how a whole house system connects -- in my case, how the gas and water supplies can leave a lot of loose ends.  There were no loose ends when James finished the job.  He completes the job and does it in good time, all with charm and professionalism.  Highly recommended.

I thought I had a room heater that had stopped functioning and needed repair. Dean showed up and informed me that all he had to do was hit a reset switch inside the heater panel. I was not charged a penny for the visit.

Horrible. They were supposed to do the work on Friday but didn't, then said they'd be back Saturday but didn't, then rescheduled for Monday 8-12 and didn't show up. Customer service just tranfers me to dispatch where I'm on hold forever, then disconnected. This place the the worst - don't use them if you have any kind of plumbing issue that needs immediate or any other kind of attention.

Jason and Aaron have saved the day more times than I can count. I've had them out at least a dozen times and wouldn't think to call anyone else. They are my go-to guys for all plumbing, heating, and hvac.

Called for service, the technician didn't follow up on completing the work. Their customer dispatch team member Bill didn't do anything with the information I provided him. Don't waste your time.

The call:  
Called Beacon for a non-emergency water heater failure and scheduled a visit for the following week when an experienced guy could come out.  Told the person making the reservation that the heater was about 15-20 years old and gave them the model and serial number.  Was informed that there would be a $75 service charge to come out and troubleshoot the unit.

The visit:
The appointment day arrived and the guys showed up on time after calling.  Good work, but that's were the good stopped.  Upon arrival only one of the 2 was wearing a mask when they got out of the truck.  We've been doing COVID for a year now, get with it...  Brought them over to the unit and then was informed that it was old and that I should just get a new one.  No kidding?  Maybe I don't have 2-3k to drop on a heater when I can make this one limp along a while longer?  When I suggested that he at least try to take a look and see if there is a repair that could be done and get us by for a while longer I was told that the diagnostic fee would be $385 just to find out what's wrong.  That sounds a bit different than $75 to me, but what do I know?  Fortunately the tech also told me that he wasn't even interested in looking at it; which saved us both some time as I told him he could leave.

The resolution:
After the techs decided to leave they chilled in the truck for a while before they took off.  Must have been break time...  Don't bother wasting your time with this company, they clearly don't care about customer service and are VERY inclined to try to scam people out of money.  Beacon Plumbing, The used car salesmen of plumbing.

We purchased a brand new heat pump when my last one died during the summer fires 2020. I HATE this furnace and the service we have received. Whenever the weather is not mild it doesn't work. Within months of install they had 2 service calls because it quit blowing air.  When it is cold the pump freezes up and blows the circuit. I have to get up multiple times a night to keep our heat on. They came out 3 times in February/March 2022 and replaced a $300 part and didn't fix it. After that they refused to come out. Now it is 80 degrees out. Our house is 74 degrees and no cold air blowing. I have it set to cool at 65 degrees and no cold air. I will call on Monday, have to wait til their next availability, pay $130 for the visit and it won't be fixed like it wasn't last year or the year before. We have had multiple parts replaced already. AVOID THIS PLACE! ABSOLUTELY USELESS.
