Frank called me promptly and I was very grateful because it was Friday before New Years weekend and at least 5 plumbers were called and 2 were busy and 2 never called back. F & A Plumbing was very professional and got the job done. I highly recommend Frank.

Fixed one sticky door and a latch that wouldn't catch. Came early (called to confirm first). Easy to schedule via Yelp messaging and text. Clean (wore booties inside) and efficient.

Keshab is terrific. I live out of state and found him via Yelp. He connected with our tenant and took care of several different plumbing and electrical issues. He does quality work and is an excellent value, especially for San Francisco! I've worked with other handymen/women in the past and Keshab tops them all.

We had a shower regulator problem that required replacement of the unit.  This involved cutting through drywall, cutting and replacing piping and installing a new fixture.  The job was thorough and well-done as well as timely completed.

Would use them again.

Yevgeny knows his business well.  He helped us make an educated decision about what to do when our very large capacity hot water heater failed.  He knows the people at the different material suppliers, he knows what the risks and costs are very well.
Yevgeny made sure our recirculating water system was robust and all new piping was in excellent condition.  When he and his employee moved our old hot water heater out, they were very careful not to create even the slightest damage to the floors and walls.  He made sure every detail was spot on.  I would recommend Yevgeny and GeneralSF to anyone

As far as handyman service goes, I couldn't want more than I got from Paul.  He made time for my dishwasher repair on short notice, showed up on time, got the job done quickly and cleanly, and helped me diagnose an unrelated electrical problem.  He's an easy-going, trustworthy resource that I will definitely contact when the need rises again.  Thanks, Paul.

We have recently rented our home, which we lived in for 22 years. To make sure we were doing everything right, we had the house inspected to help us identify any code violations or safety issues that we needed to resolve BEFORE renting it.

Unfortunately, the inspector missed some things. Months after the inspection and AFTER we had a tenant moved in, we had a clothes dryer repairman tell us that our gas dryer could not be installed in a windowless bathroom.

Not knowing if this was true or false, we called in Dmitriy to educate us. He was great. He helped translate the various code requirements into words and actions we could understand. He helped me understand that were overlapping issues related to contradictory bathroom and laundry room air ventilation requirements.

The net result is that we will need to convert the dryer from gas, which is not allowed in a bathroom, to electric. This is terrible since we just spent nearly $1,000 updating the laundry room and buying a brand new gas dryer. Had the inspector caught this, we would have simply installed an electric dryer 3 months ago.

I've had Elim and his team come in to clean my house twice now and they are amazing! From setting up the appointment, to the communication and the efficient and detailed cleaning, they have been a joy to work with. They go the extra mile, cleaning and organizing in ways that I've never thought about and suggesting other fixes that might be needed. I don't know how they do it but they always leave the bathtub so sparkling too! I'm particularly excited to use them because they are able to handle other small handyman projects.
