Best Drain Cleaning in Saint Paul MN

I had two outdoor faucets that were leaking. I called a different plumbing company that sent out two guys who told me they were fixed but when I went out to use the faucets, they continued leaking. I had them back out and they still didn't fix them. I called Hugo Plumbing, talked to a very nice dispatch lady and they had someone out the same day. The two men were nice and personable, they were able to fix the faucets with a friendly demeanor and smile, and at a lower cost than the first plumbing company.

I strongly recommend Hugo Plumbing and will continue using their services for all of my plumbing needs.

Our main sewer line was backing up in the basement. We initially called Uptown Plumbing as we had had them do work at our house previously.. Someone came to our house and spent ~45 min attempting to unclog the drain. He said he was hitting something about 10ft out.  After using a camera, they recommended excavating and repairing a section of our sewer pipe for $6000. We decided we wanted another opinion before making a pressured/rushed decision to spend that much money.

After calling around, Cardinal Services was recommended to us by Gene's Water & Sewer who said that we most likely didn't actually need to have that work done, but just needed a good/better drain cleaning. The person who came from Cardinal Services was excellent; had the camera and the snake and was able to completely clean 90ft of pipe to the front street in ~2.5 hours (we don't need the sewer repair/excavation work done).  They gained a customer for life thanks to their high quality of work at a fair price!

Dan was awesome- I had a hole in a pipe in my ceiling and he was there within 30 minutes or less. He was courteous and professional as well as going so far as to vacuum up the majority of the ceiling dust and debris. I highly recommend him.

Their scheduling is a bit lackluster. But I got a new water heater and softener installed at reasonable prices. Price estimates already included labor. They even did some extra work like removing a humidifier I didn't want and fixing my kitchen's water at no extra charge. Not something to expect, but that is quality service and good business right there.

Very nice!  I scheduled a new water heater to be installed by Jake's however I got lucky and fixed my water heater myself by getting a new sensor and resetting the unit.  I had a different company come out originally but they couldn't do what I did ((?????)).  I called Adam at Jake's to cancel the install and no problem.  By the way Jake's was $400 less expensive than the other company!

I called them today for what I thought was a sewer issue. They were super responsive, on time and friendly. The guy came to my house and inspected my leak. He informed me that some of my pipes were leaking and that I would need to contact a plumber (he referred a couple to me). He didn't charge me for my service call.

So grateful for Roman answering his phone at 640 am and getting to my house by 740 as we had an unidentified water problem in our basement. He took care of it and no issues!  Very professional, expedient and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend him and use him again.

Very professional - provided communication from when he would be arriving, to what the issue was, how he would approach it, walked me through testing the drains, and backs up his work.  Pleasantly surprised at the reasonable price. Will be keeping his card for any and all future sewer work!

The owner, Matt, did an excellent job. He was very professional, took the time to answer questions, and was very punctual. Both visits he said he would be there at 9AM and both times he was exactly on-time. In the past I have called the bigger guys with flashy vans and been left waiting...and waiting...and eventually the 2 hour window turns into more like three or four hours.

I will be using Matt and his team for all my plumbing needs in the future!

My new landlord informed me I would have no sink AND no hot water for 2 weeks the day before I was supposed to move in, but these guys showed up the NEXT DAY, while we were moving our things in, and got everything squared away within moments and even walked my husband through what the problem was so he knew what they were doing. Honestly wonderful service, knowledgeable AND pleasant guy. I work in major home appliances and I know exactly how rare that is

I've called on Comfort Matters a couple of times now and I will say they're quick, on-time, friendly, and helpful. You should be prepared for a heavy sales pitch though. They will 'helpfully' suggest hundreds of dollars in extra fixes you didn't know you needed (and probably don't), like a $700+ dollar electronic air filter I 'need' to get because the regular pleated filters are bad for the HVAC system. They'll also spend a lot of time trying to sell you a subscription to their twice annual maintenance program. If you know what you need done, and can say no to a sales pitch, Comfort Matters will do great work. If you're susceptible to sales pressure, you'll probably end up spending a lot of extra money.
Excellent work, drop the sales pressure and they're perfect.

Called looking for a plumber to do a pretty simple job.  Got a salesman disguised as a plumber looking to sell a very large and unnecessary job. Lesson learned.  I will say, they do a good job with marketing and technology

$550 to install a kitchen faucet that I supplied! And according to Tom the smooth talking plumbing manager that was the heavily discounted price. I would warn against anyone considering using Muska. For any of their services.

I had a leak in the second level stand up shower that I had identified.  Terry Overacker was quick to have a team out the next day and was expecting them to repair the identified leak.
Instead, they said that fixing the leak was not a permanent solution so they would not complete the work I had requested.  They advised I needed a whole shower removal and new install.  The cost for this opinoin  left me with a $150 bill.  I challenged that I had ask them to complete specific work, I did not request them to identify the problem.
My opinion was that I shouldn't pay such a high fee for their alternative opinion but they did not agree and no refund for me.  Since then I have completed the work on my own and have been leak free for 6months. mike fridley mn

Pedro was the technician who stopped at my house and I don't know if he is the owner of the company or just works for them but he is the only in-home technician that I have ever had a truly horrible experience with.  I showed him the problem in my basement and after some examination, he tried to show me in my pipes where the problem may be coming from.  All of that was just fine but, honestly, I couldn't get too close to the guy because he was soaked in cologne and the smell of him was giving me a vicious headache.  He didn't seem to appreciate me not wanting to get close to him and started to speak to me in an agitated manner. He asked me questions about the work done prior, which I hadn't been home for.  I called my husband and asked him questions about the work done previously to the pipes and Pedro kept talking over me as I was talking on the phone or trying to listen to my husband speak.  I put my husband on hold and asked Pedro not to interrupt me, I couldn't talk on the phone that way.  He said If you don't want my help, fine.  Pay me and I'll leave.  I wrote him a check and he stormed out.  About 5 minutes after he drove off he came back and parked in front of my house.  He got out of his van and stormed halfway up the driveway like he had something else on his mind, and by God, I was going to hear it.  Then he turned away and left, like he had changed his mind.
I have dealt with technicians in my home a lot and this was the first time that I felt uncomfortable and a bit unsafe.  Seriously.  Do NOT do business with this company.

The rep that came to the house was friendly at first, until it came time to make a decision on weather or not I was going to use their service. He was extremely impatient and pressured me to make a quick decision. He quoted $3500 for a new water heater + installation.
The rep took advantage of the fact that I am a younger woman and don't know everything about water heaters. He recommended a water heater that is way too big for the house and tried to get me to replace a perfectly fine water softener. He only offered one option for a replacement and didn't mention other sizes or models that would be more efficient for the house.
Once the project was started the lead guy left without saying anything and left two people, that he had told me were in training, behind to finish the install.
My basement floor is painted with cement paint and after the installation was complete the guys left the floor all scratched and scuffed up. There were muddy prints on the floor, doors and woodwork. The final invoice made it seem like they are trying to hide something. It listed the water heater + install but only gave a final total. It didn't list how much of the total was allocated for labor and how much was allocated for the price of the water heater.  
My husband called the manager after all was said and done to ask some questions and get clarification on some things. The manager was very apologetic about the carelessness of the employees and removed a small portion from the final bill. He also said that there is absolutely no reason that the house we live in should need such a large water heater and apologized that the rep made that recommendation.
Even with the apology and the small reparation I was left with a bitter feeling about this company and would not use them again.
