Ray Lacayo was great - fixed a leak under our kitchen sink that I had been unsuccessfully struggling with for a couple of days.  Next time I'll call him before trying to do anything myself.

Called about flooded basement and they showed up just a few hours later.   Very knowledgeable and helpful in solving the problem.  Will use again and highly recommend.

Jorge was communicative, fast, and super nice. He was able to squeeze me in before I left for a trip and was in and out in 11 minutes! My condo had a small leak so I scheduled the work with a plumbing company. The plumbing company I scheduled the work with ended up cancelling on me last minute so I ended up calling Avalon Services. They were able to come the same day. I was very happy with how fast they responded to my service call. Highly recommend.

I had an odd request for the second story of the townhouse I rent:  I needed an outlet properly grounded (for the sake of having a proper hookup for grounded sleep, an Earthing alternative). This project was really important to me.

Richard arrived within the timeframe I requested; he was prompt and professional, realistic, and jumped right in with assessing the situation with our outlets. Not only did he explain in detail what he saw happening with the electrical -- he also took the time to sit down with me and brainstorm a few creative options for how the job could best be executed, where it seemed there'd be only one way to go about the grounding rod installation I needed.

Unfortunately for me, after he spoke with his manager and we concluded there would be no economic way to see the project through. That said, I was impressed with how both Richard and his team handled the situation. I would definitely recommend these folks and will look them up again in the future when I need to hire.

they were prompt, but didn't explain the charge correctly ahead of time. way underestimated. plus the tech said the job was complete and was about to leave when i checked and found it only half done. i then called warren, the boss or manager and found him quite surly and unpleasant.

Erwyn's Plumbing is incredibly fast, efficient, and fairly priced. We had recently purchased a property in Berkeley and had lost track of time to complete our sewer lateral compliance. I looked on Yelp and found them. They have very high reviews for a reason! Israel of Erwyn's Plumbing responded nearly instantly to my outreach and offered to come out the same day (!) to evaluate our current sewer lateral and provide an estimate.

In addition to providing a fair estimate, he and his team were able to complete the work within a week; their staff and crew came right at 8 am and finished all of the lateral work, including the sidewalk repair, all in one day! Israel showed me the paperwork filed and was very prompt at staying on top of the city of Berkeley until they finally issued me the certificate (I had worked with a previous company at a different house that had not followed up with the final certificate and I ended up having to file it myself). Separately, we had a small plumbing issue that we wanted checked out that Israel looked at while he and his crew were doing the sewer lateral and gave us a free assessment re: our hot water heater / what might be wrong!

Super nice and efficient, would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing a sewer lateral (and I will probably use them for other plumbing issues too!).

Daniel and his team have done a lot of work for us over the last ~10 years including water heater, installing new toilet and even clearing pipe which caused flooding. He is professional, tells me where to get best supplies and work is 100% high quality. If he installs something, it is done well and I do not have to follow up about that item, maybe never. I can't believe I've never written a review for them. Highly recommend!
