Best Handyman Installation in Oakland CA

This is the first time Yelp reviews let me down. I thought by using a professional handyman service I wouldn't have to deal with poor service -- I was wrong.
The handyman showed up late and worked at a snail's pace - they charge by the hour. The worker would not stop talking about his serious health issues and other personal things that I didn't want to know about. I was also working from home and found it in appropriate and annoying. When I finally told him I couldn't talk he got on his cell phone to tell the stories again. One the job was completed, I pointed out that he spilled paint all over my tub -- he took 45 min to clean it and charged for that time. It was ridiculous.
The work was completed in good standing but it's not worth the cost and trouble.

Ted and team are great. They have done a variety of projects for us from a full kitchen remodel, tiling the basement, insulation and drywall, electrical and painting. He is very knowledgeable, responsive and does great work. I highly recommend him.

Paul helped me replace my bathroom vanity. Paul was super professional and addressed all the issues during installation. The price is very reasonable and covers all the related work like plumbing, faucet installation, drain installation etc. I would definitely use Paul again for my future projects

Today on July 4, it was something. A lot of water was coming out from 1 sprinkler. As a new owner of the house, we have no idea what is going on. I requested emergency service on Yelp, few people responded, but most of them said they are not available except 1 person. He responded and I called him. I was very nervous and didn't know what exactly we needed. I just told him that we were having problem with water that was coming out from our sprinkler. He said that he will come in 30 min, I send him the address and he was here in 30 min at this holiday.  We all want to say thank you Peet for coming on this short notice and helping us to fix the problem. Very reliable, we now have the best person to contact and who can come and fix plumbing problem. Thank you again.

The best experience with a handyman by far!  Looking for a toilet replacement, contacted Rick, he is extremely responsive with text and phone call,  his pricing is reasonable and up front.  He sent Han over to do the work, Han is amazingly fast, punctual, efficient and friendly, in less than an hour, he was able to remove my old toilet and replaced it with the new one.  He was super clean and left no mess behind.  He also picked up the new toilet from Home Depot  and disposed the old one for me.
A five star experience all around!   They definitely live up to their name -Reliable Handyman.

Dave showed up on time, wore a mask while he worked, cleaned up at the end of the day, and charged within the range he had originally quoted.  He completed a range of carpentry projects --rehanging a closet door, replacing a doorknob with a door lever, cutting plywood shelves for cupboards, and installing a bracket over the cripple wall and the house foundation -- and did all of them well and efficiently.  I've already booked him for a second round of repairs because the first round went so smoothly.  Thanks to the Nextdoor neighbor who recommended him.  I recommend him as well.

I hired Bader to put my expensive LED bathroom lights up. He was a delight to work with. I am very happy with the results.
