Best A/C Installation in Oakland CA
Amazing! With the rain, a pipe backed up and there was rainwater and sewage emerging through the drains into our basement... Horrifying! Within one hour, Justin had arrived - and the problem was fixed! THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! So grateful.

They came out and helped drain my crawlspace after it flooded. Turned out to be one of the original cast iron pipes under the home that had broken and flooded the crawlspace.
His team was able to fit us into their schedule and replace the broken section of pipe so that we don't have anymore leaks!

We found the plumbers Paul Vanoo and his assistant at Van Go Rooter to be amazing and very professional. We had an issue with our shower where there was no cold water. Turning the handle, the water would only briefly stay warm then become scalding hot. Moving the handle, we were able to get the water to a tolerable level, but at the expense of water pressure. During their initial assessment, they offered two well-informed choices. We chose to wait for a part. It wasn't an immediate fix, but we were glad we did. The staff at Van Go Rooter consistently checked in with us to see if the part had arrived. They made us feel that our situation was important to them. When the part finally came, two members of their team came to work on the plumbing problem which made the process go much faster. They were respectful of our space, insuring a neat work area. Finally, when it came down to test the water pressure and temperature; they took the time to really make sure that it was to our liking. I'd recommend utilizing Van Go Rooter for any plumbing issues. We'll definitely do so if the need arises!

They did the job and the toilet was unclogged. I was also charged $200 more than the original quote. Apparently it cost more for them to snake?! Also , the plumber didn't bring a shop vac to clean up the backed up feces and toilet paper. I ended up having to use my own. Do not recommend these guys, and will not use them in the future.
Replying to your response...my dissatisfaction is exactly as you spelled out. You don't offer the service to clean up raw sewage and claim to be a plumber. My money would have better spent going with a licensed plumber, not an outfit that does a half the job. Best of luck to you.

In short: Sewer Master is a fantastic, local contractor that specializes in the EBMUD private sewer lateral certification process. Vincent and his crew do great work, are responsive and easy to communicate with, and provide competitive pricing.
My project included the repair of a clean-out on my property, the repair of my private sewer lateral's connection to the City mainline, and a pressure test for EBMUD. I got six quotes from different contractors and ended up choosing Sewer Master because they demonstrated the best understanding of the scope with their detailed written proposal and reasonable bid.
I paid the deposit online via credit card, without additional fee, and Vincent had a crew out at my house doing work within a few days. The crew did a great job minimizing damage to the surrounding vegetation and left the work area spotless after every shift. The line passed the pressure test with no issues and they did a great job replacing all of the concrete pavement afterwards. Sewer Master coordinated all payments and inspections with EBMUD and I received my certificate a few days later.
I would definitely recommend Sewer Master to anyone who's home is in need of any type of sewer work. It can be a stressful and confusing process and having a reliable and transparent contractor is a life saver.

My toilet seal was broken and the toilet itself was wobbly.
Bennyson was punctual and quick to repair the seal and also the toilet not being stable. I am very happy with the service he provided and pricing was fair.

A new handle for our shower that was leaking, and a new angle stop for the hot water shut off under the bathroom sink took less than an hour to repair, and the repairs are done just fine. However, $610.00 is all I need to say. $610.00 for less than 1 hour of work! That's more than $1000.00 an hour! I could've had a heart transplant at those hourly rates!
We have used Atlas for 20 years or more, and have tolerated their steady price increases, but no more. When I called to ask why so much, a rude person said their plumbers hate coming to San Francisco and so they have to charge more. This is after using them extensively for 20 years.
I recommend using anybody but Atlas, and we have found a competent replacement on Home Advisor.

I will begin by saying that there is nothing better in winter than radiant heat, I mean the whole house is warm to the touch and no dry air blowing on you. So when my radiant heat boiler died last winter, we were very sad, so this summer I had three companies bid on the work to replace it. All three bids were competitive, but Innovative seemed to be the most complete, a great price, and we just liked Ramnar in general. He came right on time when scheduled and quickly and efficiently installed a new boiler. Now as it turns out, there was a leak in one of the pipes in the floor, so he recommended a specialist to find it. The specialist came out and put an 'X' on the floor like a treasure map. Ramnar came out the next Monday and jack-hammered to find and replace the leaky section of pipe. Again, he was fast, efficient, clean, and the fix worked perfectly. He patiently had me test the system and now it works as it should. I am waiting for winter to start and set it for 70 degrees and forget it until next spring. I cannot say enough good things about Innovative, as they are friendly when you call, fast to respond, and their work is really excellent. On a side note, they even installed a few sink fixtures in my bathroom and kitchen I had been meaning to do, and at a great price. For anything related to radiant heating, this should be your first and last call.

Our kitchen sink faucet handle started to freeze up when trying to move the faucet. We called Moraga Plumbing and John came out that afternoon. The old faucet had frooze up from age. He installed a new faucet and the cost for the new faucet and the labor was $500. The cost of an equivalent faucet by itself was over $600 at General Plumbing. John was very nice to work with. Will definitely use for all our plumbing needs again.

Andres and Isaac are a good team. Property has a complicated set of pipes. They don't give up and are honest. Pricing is very reasonable and competitive. What also stuck out is they are very considerate of others, offered to wear booties, and also cleaned up the place nicely. Definitely worth keeping in the rolodex.

Stephen hung and painted 2 doors. He did great work and we were very comfortable having him in our home while we were working and napping. Explained thoroughly what he was doing. He is very professional and a great communicator.

Pipe Spy did a fantastic job on our emergency broken sewer. Clean, fast, attention to detail, complete assurance that the job is well done. Heiko was a great and reassuring person to deal with. They scheduled our emergency into their already packed schedule and we were able to get back into our house quickly, as it was not even habitable otherwise. I highly recommend Pipe Spy.

I called them in the middle of the winter when we discovered our heating system had died in the middle of a cold snap. We had called many HVAC companies and got quotes from the companies who responded. Honrath and Stacey did not give us the lowest quote, but what won me over was there responsiveness. I called on a Thursday morning not expecting to get a response until Monday, but they called me back that day and scheduled an evaluation for the next day and had a quote to me before Monday. The other companies took much longer responding to us and giving us quotes.

I dealt with Plumbing Care a few times for minor repairs. I found them to be a very friendly and efficient team. Last time they came right after a major leak in my water heater. It was around 6:30 pm. Boyku immediately took charge of the messy situation and replaced the water heater that same evening with a smile. Thank you you are the best!

We had an emergency repair as we had a backed up sewer line in our home. I found LC Real Rooter on Yelp and saw the great reviews. Luis did not disappoint. He picked up the call right away and was at our home in less than 20 minutes ready to work! His rates were very reasonable especially considering it was an emergency repair on a Sunday evening. He was efficient and got the problem solved very quickly. We highly recommend LC Rooter and will be our first call for rooter services in the future.

I used to have great service from them, but it really depends on who comes. I love Antonio. He is courteous and hardworking. He immediately put booties on when he entered my house and cleaned everything up. HIs job was thorough, and he made sure that he completed and checked everything before he left. The company also comes at an appointed time, not a range (like others of 3 hours) and often times early.
That said, the last few times when Antonio was not available two others came, it was a disaster. They were older and very rude. And they did not finish their job. They also charged a fortune for not doing much. I also got an estimate for a bigger job from Lunt, and their quote was about 3 times more than others.

Beware!!!! They are overpriced. They told me I needed a new clean out for my sewer line to get a PSL certification and bid $10K to add one clean out. They wanted 2-3x that to replace the line. I later found out that the additional clean out they said was needed was not needed! And, I found another company who replaced the entire sewer line with 3 clean outs, with certification from the city, for $8,200!! These guys are rip off artists just out to make a buck. Beware!! Get other bids. Doubt what they tell you!!
