Resolute Sewer & Drain Cleaning

After two other plumbers including PSEG told us we had a cracked boiler and needed a new one, Tom was able to assess that our boiler was not cracked but needed some maintenance. He was honest and direct about what our issues actually were, and did not try and upsell us like everyone else had. He quickly was able to restore our water and heat. We're happy to have found someone we can trust

I've used Resolute for main sewer cleaning in years past. Since I hadn't had it cleaned out in quite a while, I decided to call them again. Once again, they were great. I was able to schedule a time that was good for me. Tom and Mike showed up right on time. They are both extremely friendly, polite, and do fantastic work. They laid cardboard down in the work area so my floors wouldn't get dirty, they did the clean-out of the main sewer, and cleaned up the area with disinfectant and left the area absolutely spotless. Highly recommended for your plumbing needs.

I spoke with Tom (owner) on the phone and set up an appointment for the following day to have a washing machine drain line cleared out.  I am extremely happy with my experience.  Tom was very personable and took the time to go over what they were going to do, the equipment used, and after the work was done gave me pointers to help prevent the pipe from clogging in the future (lint trap on the end of the hose).

I could not be more satisfied with the work, costumer service, and overall job that Resolute has done for me!

Tom (the owner) was absolutely wonderful and is on the job himself. Before finding this company, I had a horrible customer service experience with a different company also located in Bloomfield. So glad that I eventually found Tom. Even with the bad weather conditions causing a high volume of plumbing needs in the area, Tom showed up the next day, right on time, gave me a reasonable price, and the job was done within the hour. He provided me with a beautiful new faucet for my kitchen sink!

Also, having beige carpeting in my home, it was an absolute A+ that he and his worker Mike showed up with boot covers on to make sure my floors were protected. So if you're looking for quality work, friendly workers, and excellent service, look no further. Thank you Resolute!

Very good company!! I called them in the morning, they were there within an hour, drain problem solved! Clean workers and nice guys! The price was reasonable considering it was emergency work. I recommend using these guys over calling a plumber because they know how to better navigate the drain systems so they're less likely to damage other drain pipes while cleaning out the clogs. In fact, our plumber recommended them!

I live in a hundred year old house, and I can't even imagine what our sewer pipes must look like.  Clogs are inevitable, and while I try to maintain it with a chemical sewer line cleaner (the ones available in the big box stores) I know that I need to get the lines snaked about twice a year.

One afternoon, our basement toilet was taking a long time to flush - uh-oh - and drops of oil floated to the surface - double uh-oh - and water began to seep out of the sides of the toilet bowl, under the floor.  OMFG!

This was two days before Christmas Eve, when I was to host huge family holiday extravaganza.  The last thing I needed was clogged pipes!

I called a local plumber - sorry can't help you.  I called my regular plumber, from Jersey City.  Sorry I can't help you.  Sigh.

I called Resolute. We'll be there in a few hours.

Long story short, Resolute came and resolutely fixed my clog.  They laid down cardboard on the floor, to minimize the mess.  They were friendly, fast, professional and reasonable.  Thank goodness I found them, because if not...well, I'll leave that horrible thought to your imagination.

BTW, even after over 70 people came to our house on Christmas Eve, we are problem free, and our sewer lines are smooth sailing!  Thank you, Resolute!

These guys are awesome. Our sewer was clogged with roots and water was coming into the basement. They came right away and cleared it up in no time.  Tom and Mike did a great job.  Very clean and respectful.

Tom and Mike from Resolute are the best. They did a great job cleaning out my sewer line. Responded on short notice and did a thorough and efficient job. Had them back a few months later to replace my water heater. Another stellar professional job. The guys are courteous, pay attention to detail, leave no mess and offer fair pricing.

They came quickly.  Did what they said they would do.  The men were polite and really knew what they were doing.  We had a washing machine that needed immediate attention and could not have asked for better service.

Tom was amazing- he came out quickly, did a great job and was a real professional.  Super nice guy, too - a pleasure to work with.  I highly recommend him, he knows his stuff!

Fantastic!!! My 100+ yo house trap backed up at 7pm and my basement was in danger of becoming a DMZ. I called Tom from Resolute who actually answered the phone at 7pm and we made a 9:30 appointment the next morning. They even arrived a few minutes early. He assessed the problem and gave me an excellent price. The problem was resolved in an hour and Tom gave me some great advice for some future plumbing projects I have. I will definitely be calling Resolute again.
