Best A/C Repair in Nashville TN

I just had Helten's out here today to replace my air conditioner / heat pump. They are a family-owned business and David and his son came out today to replace my equipment. I could not be happier from the experience I had today and the bidding process. These folks are down to earth and have been in the business for 35 years. He was honest, easy to talk to and let him know what I was looking for and did exceptional work at my home today. Very reasonably priced. I got six bids total and he actually came in slightly at the lowest price. But that does not mean I got crappy equipment. The equipment he provided me with today was a very good brand name that can be trusted. 10-year parts warranty and a 2-year labor warranty which nobody else provided the 2-year labor warranty. Just overall a great experience. I would recommend this company for either general maintenance on your systems or replacement of systems.

Jeremy was communicative and professional. We had a leaking hose bib that needed to be replaced. It got to the point we could hear water running all day long and it was clear we really needed to get it fixed. Not only was he quick, he was the lowest quote we received by far. I didn't realize that they're located in Murfreesboro. If I had, I probably wouldn't have considered them for the job, but I'm so grateful it worked out the way it did because we couldn't be happier with their work. We will definitely keep them in mind for future plumbing needs.

We have had several pin holes leaks in our water pipes from 1995. Once we discovered another active leak we decided it was best to replace the existing pipes. Mr. Rooter came out immediately to give us a quote. The quote was equilivent to other quotes. The guys were quick and professional. They were willing to come the next day, but due to our schedules we set it for the next day. They finished in one day, and we could not be more pleased. When leaving They were concerned enough to mention we should get hose bibs, or wrap the outside water spighats to protect them from the cold pending cold weather. The peace of mind is priceless and would definitely recommend this crew. ​

Outstanding service. Thought I'd take a chance and give J's a shot. First impressions were very polite and extremely responsive. I had a water heater issue and called J's to assess the problem. He was at my home within an hour of the initial call. He quickly diagnosed the issue and explained to me what the problem was and showed the malfunctioning part. He quickly went and got the parts needed and didn't try to upsell the parts and is honest with labor cost. I highly recommend J's for your plumbing issues.

My faucet in my kitchen quit working. I contacted Urbieta Plumbing, and I believe they came out the same day I contacted them, on a holiday weekend! They diagnosed the issue, replaced my faucet, and were on their way. Very friendly and professional. I will be using them again for future repairs, maintenance, etc.

Poor customer service. JR asked me to call him on my way home from work and that he would come next day to fix my problem. I left work a little early and called. Went straight to a full voicemail; I couldn't leave a message. Called a couple more times same thing. He finally called me back. Evidently had totally forgotten and said he had to take his kids to practice. No apology was given. When I said I thought we had an appointment, he hung up on me.

I understand people forget but to not apologize and then to hang up is very rude. If this is how he treats his customers and runs his business then I consider myself lucky that I dodged a bullet. Wish I could give no stars.

He quickly came out and he wrote a quote for me and then he quickly got the job done and surprisingly the bill was actually the amount in the quote.

Bradley was the 3rd Heating & Air Company I had come to my home when my heat went out on The Coldest Day Of The Year! The 1st told me I had a bad pressure switch and most likely a cracked heat exchanger, after he left & returned with a new switch, it also did not work and he declared a cracked exchanger the problem & a new unit in order, took the new part back and charged me a service call.
The 2nd that came out climbed up to my attic, looked across at the unit, listened to what I told them about the 1st tech that had looked at it, and then went out to inspect my A/C unit for unit size and let me know they would email me an estimate for a new system.
Brandon Bradley came out, took all my heat unit panels off, inspected the heat exchanger and then looked at the pressure switch, he found the valve itself was clogged, cleared it with a paperclip and HEAT!

As a property manager in the Nashville area, plumbing problems are the number one issue I face daily. So, when I call need a plumber, I need them to show up on time and do a quality job for a fair price. That's what I always call Hewitt Plumbing.

American Plumbing provided me with prompt and excellent service. I called on the prior afternoon and I was their first stop on the following day. The plumber explained everything to me as he researched the issue and suggested repairs. The best part is that no out landish and unnecessary repairs were recommended. The prices were reasonable and I will use them again.

These guys are fantastic. We have been doing business with them for about 10 years now at our home.  They come out right away and they charge a fair price. Their workers are very respectful and kind. Can't say enough kind words about them.

Called Honest plumbing to take care of a leaking hose bib. Aaron was on time, did a great job and took the time to explain to me cold weather care of exterior hoses. Super nice, on time and REASONABLE.  Definitely keeping his number as my go to plumber in middle Tennessee.  Give him a call.

I had a drain pipe that needed to be rerouted. Andy responded to my phone call the same day. He came by and assessed my situation and gave me a quick estimate.  His workers called me the next day and fixed my problem in 3 hours. Work was done in an accurate and professional manner. I would use them again and highly recommend them!

Unbelievable!  Called and set up an appointment to have my unit serviced due to the fact it wasn't blowing cold air.  The tech came out and spoke with my wife because I was at work.  He said the unit needed 4 pounds of freon.  They charged $511 to fill the tank.  The unit worked great for three days.  Now I'm back at square one.  Call DAC back and they sent another tech out who actually found the issue that the coil needs replacing.  Now they want to charge $2800 for a new coil.  No thanks!  I just want my $511 back.  I talked to the manager, Ricky Hale, who was a complete jerk and had the nerve to ask me why I left my wife at home to deal with the tech.  My response was that I work for a living.  By the way, I did speak to the tech on the phone, he said nothing about the work not having a warranty because there was a leak.  He just said it was low on freon.  Also, I thought there is a law that states you can't just refill freon if you know there is a leak.  I'm looking into that next.  I'll chalk this up as a learning experience.  Had the first guy done his job like the second technician and diagnosed the problem I wouldn't be upset or out the initial $511.  And, DAC would have done the work for me.  However, after dealing with Mr. Hale, I would never recommend or do business with them again.  Also, they did offer a credit to me if they could replace the unit, with one of their overpriced units.  Unbelievable!
Turns out my coil is perfectly fine.  I had a bad weld on my compressor line which allowed the freon to leak out.  Glad I didn't spend the additional $2800.00.  Glad I found an honest business to find the actual issue and correct it.

This company has been around for 21 years and if it's not a clogged drain I would not use them. Long story short they came to fix a leaking tub faucet and then they made more leaks and messed up the whole tub valve. Pretty much cut the tub valve out and took it away because I'm sure they ruined the copper thread when I heard them having issues getting the plastic out of the thread and they did not come in with tools just a wrench and some valve stems that they could not fix. What's sad is I was charged 205$ for an hour and 30 minutes of work to have something simple to fix which was ridiculous for valve stem repair , to having no shower downstairs.They were going to charge me more to cap it, but they must of had some remorse because they did cap it and didn't charge me extra. My thing is if you couldn't fix it, then why pretend like you could.This is the owner by the way! He said he went above and beyond what he would do for most and wanted to charge me 405$ to fix something he broke. I'd hate to see what they would do to someone who they didn't go above and beyond for. Call a real plumbing company with great reviews if you want real results. Not cool what they did to my family and I. Definitely won't be doing business with them again!
