Best HVAC System Repair in Nashville TN

Helton's was wonderful when my furnace broke. I called in the morning because I smelled gas and David was at my house by the afternoon to check it out. He was extremely prompt with responding and showed up just when he said he would. As it turns out I needed my whole HVAC system replaced, which is any homeowner's nightmare, but David and his team made the process as easy as possible. Can't recommend this company enough. They are good people who do quality work!

Ugh.  Three times he told me he was coming and three times he didn't come.  In addition, he didn't even bother to call me.  If there was a way to give no stars, I would.

I would highly recommend. I'll  start by saying integrity is extremely important to me. I have 32 years in the construction industry and was aware of what the issue was. The service technician was on point with finding the problem and getting the repair done with no sales BS or made up costs. He represented Iceberg well and I appreciated he was a USMC veteran! I highly recommend their services.

Surprised this company does not show up with any reviews, presently, on Yelp. Needed completely new A/C compressor/coil - due to the cost, asked for four bids from area contractors. Proctor and Graves bid came in at around HALF of other bids; yes, you heard that right HALF of other bids, but here's the real value on that. The HALF of other bids was on superior equipment/manufactor according to Consumer Reports. The HALF price was on an American Standard when other's were bidding double there cost on low-end GOODMAN systems.  The work was done on time, with installers who were careful and courteous and the clean up and removal of old equipment was accomplished all within a span of a few hours.  Anyone in or around the north and east side of Nashville would be well served to have this company bid your major A/C work. Oh, and let me add. Their service fee of $69? That's $20 LESS than the company I've used previously in the Gallatin/Hendersonville area.

David Bryant

When he comes to give you a quote, he will tell you how good he is and that he will back up his work for a year.  He is easy to believe, since he is a very polite young man.  He did the work with a few hiccups.
This is what everyone thinking about hiring David needs to know!  

We hired him to install new propane lines, convert the new stove to Propane, install a couple electrical outlets, and put in a new Mini Split HVAC System.
He does not stand behind his work at ALL!
* The first problem was when we went to use the new oven.  It didn't work!  It was just before Thanksgiving so when we called to discuss the problem, he said that he had company and that he couldn't come until the following week.  Then he stated that it was a warranty issue with the manufacturer since the stove top worked fine, further stating that there was a blockage in the line to the oven, also stated he would charge us for the call.
After convincing the Manufacturer to replace the stove, the day before the new stove was to be delivered, we pulled the stove out to check the connection and Low and behold David Bryant DID NOT complete the work correctly! He failed to switch the gas pressure regulator lever to the on position!!!
* Second problem, we had to move one of the electrical outlets that he installed.  We already had the new wires in, he only had to put the electrical plugs in the new boxes.  When we opened the electrical outlet to move over, we noticed that the wire connections had not been tightened down properly.  We had to check all 4 outlets, only 1 of the 4 was correct.
* The biggest problem is the Mini Split HVAC system he installed is not working properly and he will not return our calls or text messages. So, we had to hire someone to come fix his work!  When he originally installed the unit, a factory flare fitting he connected blew off creating a mess. That he did not clean up.  His flare fitting connection was over tightened damaging the fitting and causing a leak.
So, in his business descriptions he states that he:
*  provides QUALITY heating and cooling and electrical services big and small.  
* What sets him apart from other contractors: Customer satisfaction is my job I just provide that through heating, cooling and electrical.
* We are best known for: Doing the job right and customer satisfaction.

Would I recommend Bryant Services to anyone?  Unfortunately, we did.  Hopefully they did not hire him.
We have found out the hard way that his work is not quality, he does not back up his work and if you have a problem with something he has installed he simply does not answer your call or return your text message.

Disappointed R & R

I have called NEI for years. More than I can remember. I have never been disappointed. The last time I called my refrigerator was fixed in less than an hour. Knowledgeable, courteous, prompt, professional and dependable.

I am having thermostat problems on my HVAC system. . .and I need service in general on my units. I need to call someone. . .

Saturday afternoon  after Thanksgiving (holiday weekend of course) our heat pump stopped blowing air  and of course the temperature was going to the 30's Sunday morning. The technician from Griffin returned my call in 15 minutes. While I was explaining the issue the heat came on so we decided to let it run hopefully until Monday. Sunday morning it wasn't working and smelled like something was burning. He was here within 30 minutes, discovered that the fan motor was burning out and the circuit breaker was hot and ready to burn. Sunday was cold. Sunday night was cold. Monday morning a tech was here with the new parts and had the heat back on before mid day.

We highly recommend Griffin Mechanical for HVAC and plumbing needs, especially if you have an outage and need to get your heat or air back on. When we replace our 25 year old heat pump Griffin Mechanical LLC will get our business.

Quick, quality work, reasonably priced (for a Sunday morning repair)- have used Jewell for many years and will certainly continue to do so! Technician Tim was courteous, agreeable and did the repair in no time.

Josh and Chris were phenomenal to work with.  Not only are they fine men but they are skilled and hard working.  We had a pot filler water line installed, gas lines run to our dryer and range, dryer vent repaired, garbage disposal installed, and kitchen faucet repaired.  At one point I saw Josh looking around and I asked what he was looking for?  He responded I'm always looking for the next thing I can do while Chris is working on something else.  Simple statement and I admire his mentality.  No idle time.  I was in the business of managing people for over 35 years.  The exceeded my expectations.  I'd hire these guys in a heartbeat.  So glad I met you and worked with P&G.  Forever a customer.

Save your time and money!! Called these guys to fix my restaurant AC and they spent 3 days attempting to fix the problem. Meanwhile I am losing customers to a hot restaurant. Had to call another company who were smart enough to fix the problem in 3 hours. Dillingham and Smith proceeded to charge me $4000 dollars to not fix the problem and Eric Gibbens only charged me $500 to actually fix the problem.
