Surprised this company does not show up with any reviews, presently, on Yelp. Needed completely new A/C compressor/coil - due to the cost, asked for four bids from area contractors. Proctor and Graves bid came in at around HALF of other bids; yes, you heard that right HALF of other bids, but here's the real value on that. The HALF of other bids was on superior equipment/manufactor according to Consumer Reports. The HALF price was on an American Standard when other's were bidding double there cost on low-end GOODMAN systems. The work was done on time, with installers who were careful and courteous and the clean up and removal of old equipment was accomplished all within a span of a few hours. Anyone in or around the north and east side of Nashville would be well served to have this company bid your major A/C work. Oh, and let me add. Their service fee of $69? That's $20 LESS than the company I've used previously in the Gallatin/Hendersonville area.

was repairable, I decided to get a 2nd opinion. I was then referred to NEI. I contacted Damion. He seemed very nice and professional. I had to wait a few days for him to come out to do a diagnostic check. But I trusted the person who referred me, so I was patient and greatful when Damion finally arrived. He seemed very nice, professional and knowledgeable. He also told me he was one of the owners... So I was happy and willing to work with him. Within a few days, my unit was working!!! Hallelujah!!! I paid him without delay. He made sure to mention that he gave me a good price due to our mutual acquaintance..... several times. I thought this was rather tacky...but whatever. I finally had heat. The next day, my furnace started making a weird noise and wasn't performing optimally. I called him and he told me he would work me in to check out the issue. I waited patiently several days.
Well, everytime I called, I received an excuse why he didn't/couldn't make it. I waited 2 weeks!! I finally grew impatient.
Started to feel I was getting the run around. I called again....tried to explain my dissatisfaction. He basically told me to call another company, and then hung up on me. He refused to answer any of my calls, or return text. I sent an email to the company and everything! All I wanted, was a scheduled day he would return, not to be worked in as a standby with unpredictable days/time.
Once paid, my issue was no longer a concern. Customer service at it's finest!! He did not honor his work. Now, I will have to trust and pay another company....my 3rd ....to come out to do ANOTHER diagnostic check on my furnace! I am very unhappy!! My hard money wasted!!

Saturday afternoon after Thanksgiving (holiday weekend of course) our heat pump stopped blowing air and of course the temperature was going to the 30's Sunday morning. The technician from Griffin returned my call in 15 minutes. While I was explaining the issue the heat came on so we decided to let it run hopefully until Monday. Sunday morning it wasn't working and smelled like something was burning. He was here within 30 minutes, discovered that the fan motor was burning out and the circuit breaker was hot and ready to burn. Sunday was cold. Sunday night was cold. Monday morning a tech was here with the new parts and had the heat back on before mid day.

First of all, I don't typically leave bad reviews on Yelp. But in this case, consumers be warned. If I could give this company zero or negative stars, I would.
I had a Aprilaire humidifier installed a couple years back and they installed it incorrectly, causing the living rooms floors to buckle and had to replace. Jewell was good about the insurance claim and their insurance paid for it. But, we were out of a living room for almost two months.
Two weeks ago, I called them to replace the humidifier filter. Easy job. The tech who came out messed it up and spilled water on the board, shorting out the unit. He came back to fix THAT a week and a half later. On Christmas morning, we woke to our house having no heat since he had done something to disable the brand new HVAC unit we had installed by Lee Co two months prior. (The second time he left us with no heat.)
Today was now the FIFTH visit by Jewell and thankfully the techs seemingly fixed everything that the other one broke. But, they left stains on our white wall, and a bent air return! Unbelievable. There is no way I could keep my cool about this as I typically do.
This company is a mess. Not only did they lose money by having their employees out here for so many hours, they caused an incredible amount of stress and frustration for both my family and I as well as their own employees. Nobody wins when this happens. And ,oh yeah, ruined Christmas morning.

SHADY business. Charged $95 for NO services rendered. Refuses to give full, Transparent breakdown of costs regarding new toilets with installation. Said they can't tell you the specifics of pricing for the different brands of toilets, even though the jump between brands is HUNDREDS of dollars. They know how much each toilet costs - that's how you run a business and keep up with inventory, etc. Completely UNETHICAL and ILLEGAL not to provide clients with a Proper, ITEMIZED quote and/ or receipt. Oh, and don't be mislead by claims that they give discounts in exchange for a monthly subscription. That's not a discount, that's shifting where the price goes and how long you will continue paying out to them. Also said, if you're a member for the monthly subscription and you have an appointment, that appointment will never get pushed back or rescheduled. But if you're not, well, members get priority so your *scheduled* appt as a 'non-member' could be changed at anytime.... you have got to be kidding

Save your time and money!! Called these guys to fix my restaurant AC and they spent 3 days attempting to fix the problem. Meanwhile I am losing customers to a hot restaurant. Had to call another company who were smart enough to fix the problem in 3 hours. Dillingham and Smith proceeded to charge me $4000 dollars to not fix the problem and Eric Gibbens only charged me $500 to actually fix the problem. I now use Eric for my AC needs and recommend you do the same. His number is 615-394-0320.
