Best Home Cleaning in Minneapolis MN
If they have a slogan, I don't know it. You don't need to know much more than this, they really work hard to get the job done right. I'll try to spare you from reading the entire review so I'll hit the high points. They cost less than pretty much everyone else. They bring a bunch of cool high tech equipment that must cost a fortune (they can make a high definition video of the inside of your pipes so you can see what's going on for yourself). They bring a good attitude and friendly demeanor. And they really do want to make your drains run as good as new.
The job I called them out for was a last minute oh-boy-I-need-an-inspection-now kind of situation. Jake came right out and was happy to let me watch what he was doing and explained what was going on. By the way, my house is OLD! Jake had to break a clog in a pipe that was like cement. After much effort he couldn't wash out the scale that was produced. He told me I could leave it that way, it may run out in time, but that I should really have the pipes hydro-jetted. I had been watching the images from the camera in the pipe so I knew he wasn't trying to sell me something I didn't need. There was a lot of scale in there!
Alex came out 2 days later for the jetting. He worked for a long time trying to get everything out of the lines but was having trouble with our unique sewer setup. In the end, he had to come back. Together with the boss, they got the job done. They also were able to give me a lot of information about my sewer lines. Information that was not all good, but it is better to know ahead of time so I can plan for the future. Remember, this is an old house with nearly 80 year old pipes.
In the end these guys did an excellent job dealing with a far more complicated system than they expected. I was around to see a lot of the work they did and to hear them discuss a lot of the situation. It is apparent that they truly cared about how well they got the job done at my house and they have an honest culture of interest in knowing what is going on under every house in which they work.
One last thing, no amount of chemical drain cleaner will do what these guys can do with a real drain snake and a hydro jet. When I think about how much I use the drains in my house and how important it is for them to work correctly, it's a no brainer to call them out when things aren't going down the way they should.

Our pipe was leaking through the top floor bathroom and into our office area on the first floor. We needed emergency services and Hibernian was there. He showed up on time, had the right PVC piping to solve the problem, and fixed our issue. He was engaging and so helpful! The price was much less than anticipated. He saved our 4th of July weekend! Amazing professionalism, fun conversation, and our new go to plumber! Will be recommending him to all our friends!

Pierre was super professional and timely with his repairs. Offer up very helpful advise as well!! Highly recommend John's service, and definitely will use their services again!!

I was looking for a local plumber to fix a leaky faucet, and the plumbers I previously used didn't renew their Minneapolis license. So I went onto Yelp and found St. Paul Pipeworks. They were great, from telling me what they needed prior to starting the job (photos of my faucet), to confirming that they received the photos, and then coming earlier than the scheduled time (which I had asked for). Paul was knowledgeable and patient with my watching/questions, and he was careful with my floor and countertops. Fair and reasonable pricing as well.

We had a broken bathroom extractor fan that rendered our main bathroom totally unusable. My wife tried to extract it and midway through discovered, to our despair, that the fan wasn't extractable with the tools and leverage we had. Folks here were SUPER nice, came same day so we could shower on ZERO notice, and were extremely fair in their pricing. It was a tight squeeze and a mess, and they saved our asses--we are so grateful.

I sent out a message on Yelp to many plumbers and Roman the owner of Rescue Sewer and Drian replied immediately.
I had a leaking water heater and a tub faucet handle that was broken and leaking. He was able to come the same day and fix both things minus the leak on the faucet. He replaced my old water heater with a new one and hauled away the old one. The leak on the faucet is my own fault for waiting so long to call a plumber. He will be coming back in a few weeks to address the issue.
He was here for about 5 hours bless his heart!
I would definitely recommend Roman to fix any of your plumbing problems. He's very professional, nice and explains what the issues are and what needs to be done. Please Support your small business people!!

One of the local plumbers told me that I need a new sewer line and it was going to cost me $15k. I asked the local hardware store (Settergren's) who's opinions I trust a great deal, and they recommended that I get a second opinion. Settergren's has a list of vendors that their customers with whom their customers have had good experiences and JMJ is one of the plumbers on the list. Joe, the JMJ owner, came by the next day and helped me think it through and decided to wait and see. He ended up doing some work to keep the line clear at a very reasonable price. Joe is an honest, hard-working guy that you can trust. I recommend him without reservation.

They are close and convenient, and I've successfully used their services, from a new water heater to a few faucet leaks. I've used other plumbers also; none are inexpensive.

Timely and thorough service. Brian was clear in his explanations and left the work area clean and tidy.

Plumb Right just left. Again they did the job right when the other guy didn't. They install correctly, they diagnose correctly. However, if you have dogs, make sure they shut the gate to the back yard with they leave!

We had a very bad experience with AArt's Speedy Plumbing. My 91 year old mother paid a total of $455 for a simple replacement of washing machine water shut-off valves. Another plumber had given her an estimate of about $200 to do this job, but he would not wear a mask during this coronavirus time, so she hired this company. The plumber Ike was unprofessional; she had to ask him twice to put his mask back on. When he connected the drain hose to the drain pipe, he asked her for an old rag to secure it. Really? And charging more than master plumbing rates? I called the company and requested to speak to the owner, but he has not returned my call. Shoddy work and financial exploitation of a senior is a crime. They should hang their heads in shame.

Contacted Steve after my floor drain in the basement laundry room was backing up - and a simple liquid plumber wasn't helping!
Steve came out promptly the very next morning & fixed the issue. And, because the job didn't require the effort we thought it might during the phone consult, he didn't charge me the full quote we had agreed upon. Thanks for the quick response, great service & your integrity is a fine bonus!!

Very dissatisfied with the timeframe I was given. I was told between 10:00 and 12:00. I even called that morning to confirm and was told someone would be out to my house between 10 and 12. Received a text at 11:50 that Rick was on his way. 40 minutes later still no Rick. I called and was told he's on his way. Rick arrived at 1:15. Dressed professionally and polite. Rick did a very good job explaining what he did and the results of our furnace. Answered all my questions with great detail and I felt he was efficient. I just wish they could give a better timeline. I missed a half of a day of work waiting.

Just ridiculous service. Scheduled an AC repair service call about a week out because my AC unit wasn't working. With cooler weather in the forecast getting someone out right away wasn't necessary. Day of the appointment they didn't show during the window despite a text confirmation. When I called they told me they had called me to reschedule. I had no call history nor a voice mail.
During my follow up call they said they could get someone out for an additions $200 (maybe $249, I forgot) same day as an emergency. An extra $200 beyond the trip charge to just make the appointment they already confirmed.
Agreed to have them come out the following Monday. On top of the $75 trip charge they wanted $332 to run a diagnostic to tell me what was wrong. Now I'm two weeks in and they want $400 without actually doing anything.
I'll pass.
It looks like from the other recent reviews that my experience is typical.

Called to get a quote on re wiring a home that I just purchased. Was on hold forever before I got someone live. Then they couldn't do anything but take my number and have someone call me back. A young lady called me back that spoke a million miles an hour from a script. I asked for lead times on how far out their services are and she just kept repeating the same script over and over again. I asked for a manager to call me and never got a call back. if this it what it takes just to get someone to answer a few simple questions, I can imagine what their service is like. No thanks. I'll take my business elsewhere.

If I could provide a zero star review, I would. I called and got an appointment with their team. This part wasn't bad. They gave me a window in which they would be there the next day. The window was 11am-1pm. So far so good. Our kids take a nap around 2pm, so we thought it wouldn't be an issue as it was our kitchen sink and we didn't think it would take longer than an hour. But then the next day came and at 1:35pm they hadn't showed up. I called them to see where they were and they had said that we were the next stop. At this point they were already late. I asked why we weren't notified that they would be late and expressed my concern that we have kids and that this was past the time they told us they would be here. The lady on the phone then begins to tell me that she had provided a window of 11am-2pm the day before. I specifically remember this not being true because I had asked my wife if this time would work, discussing the situation about the kids. I move on. I asked her when they would get here and she goes on to say that it will be another 40-45 minutes (which means they wouldn't get here until 2:20 which means they would be late either way, whether it was a 2 hour window or 3 hour window). And I know she didn't give a 3 hour window on the phone.
Anyhow, the plumber showed up a little after 2:30pm. He was here for about a half an hour and left.
After he left, the whole kitchen area smelled like raw sewage. We poured vinegar down the drain. We cleaned the whole sink area including wiping down the inside of the drain (we have a garbage disposal). We thought that would do the trick, but it didn't. We later come to smell the worst of it being under the sink. The smell wasn't coming from the sink, it was coming from the area where the pipes were.
I called their customer service phone number again and they said to dump vinegar on it, clean it with bleach, etc. she also went on to say that the plumber that was at our house has stinky tools now too. That our sink stunk up his truck. Well we tried cleaning it again. Hopefully the smell would get better.
We woke up the next morning and the smell was still there, no change. My wife went to the store, bought baking soda, extra strength cleaner, 3 air fresheners, and more vinegar. She took everything out of the cabinet and hand wiped everything and everywhere and placed the odor removers in the cabinet. This should do it... nope. We got a fan. Nothing. We added coffee beans. Nothing.
Now folks, our house is only five years old. I'm not sure what would have made it smell that bad...
But I called customer service one last time and the lady on the phone told me very rudely (let me tell you that I wasn't pleasant either) that this was our fault. She complained TO ME about the contents of our sink stinking up their team's tools and vehicles. She said that the smell was from us and there was nothing she could do.
I had a lot of questions...
1. Was the smell here when her plumber got here? No.
2. Could it be the pipe was loose and the smell was coming out of it still? She said, no way (without checking)
3. Has this happened before? Not really I was told.
4. Why is the smell under the sink? And not in the sink? (If it was in the sink that's one thing, but under the sink leads me to believe they spilled somewhere and don't properly clean it up)
The only response I got was that this is your fault because your sink smelled that bad. We did nothing wrong.
Talk about terrible customer service. I would suggest no one ever uses this company again. They were late to the job, rude, blameful, and completely irresponsible in cleaning up the mess they created for the job we paid them for.
Oh and we paid $125 for 30 min. Not a bid gig for 30 minutes of work. What a waste.

DO NOT USE DEAN'S!!!!!
We were completely screwed by them. In a hurry, we paid 5X what we should have on a water heater from them... only later to feel misled and confused.
We also had charges appear on our card from the Dean's club that they promised was a one time fee... which ended up being a recurring fee.

No complaint about the actual work. They unblock my drain using an auger. The plumber was nice and polite. The only thing was the price. They wanted $99 just to come and take a look at it and $310 for the job. That would of been $409 for basically of putting the auger down the drain for 15 feet. That part was about 10 minutes long. I complained about the price and they agree to waive the service fee which only made me suspicious. They would not give me a ball park estimate over the phone and insist on the plumber looking at it first. But when the plumber got here he basically gave me two options which they could of done over the phone. The plumber did not examine or do anything bc there's the standing water, it's backup. I originally thought that the service fee would be waived automatically if I agree to have the job done. Should of ask about that first. That part was my fault but my basement was overflowing, was in a tight spot, and unless you gone through it once you don't know what to ask!
I have never deal with other places so I don't know how much they charge but a google search says that the average price in MN for this type of job average about $200. That's my experience with this place. I would not recommend this to friend, family or anyone.
