Best Flame Sensor Repair in Minneapolis MN
We bought an 85-year-old house and that means one thing - galvanized pipes. Otherwise known as swiss cheese, aka, going to leak and burst whenever I feel like it, aka, go ahead you cheapo and roll the dice and not replace me.
I know a plumber back east and he told get rid of the galvi ASAP. Um, ok. So I called a few plumbers. Some were really cheap, like do the math and you wonder it takes X days and Y material, how do you stay in business? Another big shop in town was very expensive and seemed like they were adding little things here and there to the estimate.
Erickson's guy, Mike, was very nice and was thorough and was clear on not needing things that the other high-priced shop proposed. He explained the residential codes to me and why I did not need certain things. He did preface that this was not going to be cheap. He walked through all the things that needed to be done and how long it took and I realized that this was going to take several days of someone working all day and knocking out walls and ceilings. This was a big project.
Their estimate was expensive, but still about 15% lower than one of the other big guys in town. But, I got a good feeling about them. So I gave Erickson the work.
They came in an installed pex and ripped out all the galvanized across 3 floors of my house. They did an excellent job and would not hesitate having them back in the future.

Still waiting for my rebate since June, I call Excel energy, they said they never received my rebate application, then I call and text Michael to see what's going on, no response.

Always responsive, and professional! They do great work, and they don't try to pressure people or up-sell anything. Highly recommend.

This company charges $129 just to obtain an estimate to clean an evaporator coil. That is a ridiculously high fee to receive any sort of estimate to begin with, but even more ridiculous when the customer knows exactly what he needs. This company obviously does not want you to obtain estimates from other companies when they charge such a high fee themselves.

The best in the business! We've used them a few times now and they never fail to exceed our expectations. Fast, friendly, and professional service. We will definitely be calling Legend the next time we need heating, ac, or plumbing work done. Thank you, Erik, for getting our ac fixed so quick!

Our bathroom sink had a leak and my handy husband was not able to repair it. We called Boldt Plumbing. Logan was our technician. He arrived on time, which is very important to us. He introduced himself right away and he was very pleasant, easy to talk to and made sure we understood the situation. He was quick, efficient, and seemed very knowledgeable. We were and are very satisfied with his service. If / when we need plumbing services again we will definitely call Boldt. And yes, Logan left our home very clean.

great guy. had a sewer back up. needed a new line. Richard had used a camera and you could see it was shot. he gave me a price and I decided to do the work. I have used them for years on my electric, heat and a/c so I trusted them. they started to dig and the water just poured in. Richard, Ryan, Axel and sam worked like dogs on a bone to get this job done. it was really bad. they kept me up to date on things but I could see how hard it was going for them. the frustration was visible to me. they got it done. best part was not a penny more and now it all works. thanks guys and sorry it was so hard. Mother Nature can be a fickle thing. I will keep using them.

Brand new air condition at our new house doesn't work. Waiting for a week now to get it fixed - not even receiving a call back.
Hmm....what does that say about their creditability and customer service??

We just moved to town and desperately needed a plumber for some issues in our new home. Not knowing any plumbers in town I decided to google plumbers and ran across this company. I called and they immediately set me up with an appointment. I received a text message confirming the appointment. They arrived when they said they would and quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. About a week later I had another issue. Called City View Plumbing and again received immediate service. The same plumbers I had before arrived and I knew that I was in good hands! Again they quickly diagnosed the problem and will fix it once the part comes in. Nobody loves water leaks or plumbing problems. I now have peace of mind that this company will always be there for me in a time of need. I will definitely recommend them highly to anyone looking for a plumber or having plumbing issues. Kudos to a very well run company!

We've had our share of HVAC issues (usually when I'm very pregnant and during a heat wave ) and Air Mechanical always delivers. The only challenge is getting someone out right away -- no surprise with staffing issues these days though. We always ask to be put on Mike's schedule because he knows our system the best and he's such a nice guy! When he arrives, he either puts booties on over his shoes or takes his shoes off. He assesses the problem and explains his findings in an easy to understand way while also being respectful. He takes great notes that they store in their system so if anything pops up, someone else can fill in and still knows the history. A very honest guy who never tries to upsell us on anything.

B&D was very responsive when I called them to fix my furnace which had gone out recently. Julie explained everything, scheduled a time for the repair technician to arrive and followed up after the service was completed to see if I was satisfied. Vaughn arrived on time, was knowledgeable and very helpful. He completed the repair, as well, provided estimates to me as requested for additional future service that he suggested. It was a very good experience and I definitely use their services in the future.

Called them to help with a clogged sink at my house. Rol Air sent an inexperience plumber by himself to run a snake. After being unable to unclog my sink, he call his boss who, instead of coming to checkout his employees work, just told him tell me that the main pipe has probably bellied out and that it would cost me thousands of dollar to repair. I told them I would need time to come up with that kind of money. After he the plumber left, I went to home depot to rented a 75 ft snake and ran it myself. After multiple passes and boiling hot water proud down the drain, the drain eventually unclogged. I would not recommend this company and try a different plumber.

Butchers! I've worked in the housing industry with the finest builders for 40+ years. I never once saw a K&S HVAC van on any of them. Now I know why. They have men who are not qualified do do work on residential jobs. These guys are butchers with a boss that will decieve you and lie to you to not take responsibility for the most cobbled up job you will ever see. Leaving you with leaks, malfunctions........ while under warranty and say We don't owe you anything

PREDATORY PRACTICES FOR EMERGENCY SERVICE
I wasn't going to write a review because there was somewhat of a resolution but when it fell short of what was promised, I felt compelled. In the beginning of September, I was going to replace a shower faucet in our master bathroom one afternoon. Being pretty handy and doing numerous small plumbing jobs over the years, I felt I could handle it. Unfortunately, I tweaked a corroded fixture in the wall which began to leak. It leaked enough water to the point where it was leaking through the kitchen ceiling below. I turned off the master water valve and called a couple of plumbers I knew. They were tied up on contracting jobs and I needed it done right away since we didn't have water in the house. I've seen Hero Plumbing's advertisements on TV so I figured I would give them a shot. Wow, was I in for a surprise.
Hero was able to come out within a couple of hours and promised a diagnosis for $89. I showed the tech what was wrong, explaining we just wanted a cheap fix since I had the fixture and we were going to remodel the bathroom in the near future. The tech went downstairs to check my water softener and upon returning, showed me two options for the fix: Best and Better. Best was $1330 and Better was $1472. I was floored. I knew what needed to be done and it should only take about 2-3 hours max. I explained I felt I was being taken advantage of and was told they are a union shop, he was a journeyman and a permit would need to be pulled through the city. I found the permit requirement odd due to my experience being around the trades and knew journeymen typically charge $100/hr on the high end while a master plumber is usually $150/hr max. I pleaded that we needed water in the house and asked to get the price down. He explained removing the specialized access wall panel would save $180. I asked what made it special, so he showed me an image of it and said it was spring loaded. I told him to go ahead with the cheaper of the two jobs, minus the wall plate, thinking I would deal with management later. While he was working, I checked Home Depot's website and found the same panel for $15. When he was installing the faucet I purchased, I went into the master bedroom closet and looked at the parts which were installed. Needless to say, the parts he supplied were $10 max! The tech finished in 2 hours and I could not believe we just paid $547.50/hr for Hero to fix our leak.
The next morning I called the city to line up an inspection. The inspection coordinator did not understand why a permit was pulled because it was not needed. They refunded Hero for it and strongly encouraged that I contact them to request a refund. I called Hero and requested to speak with a manager about our issue surrounding their pricing. Just shy of 48 hours, I received a call back from a representative of Hero. I explained that the permit was not needed, I had some knowledge being around the trades and the plumbers I typically use were all tied up on jobs. I went on to say their practices seemed predatory and felt I was being taken advantage of during a time of need. They told me the best they could do was refund 10% of the bill, plus the cost of the permit. I confirmed with the rep. that I would be receiving a $204 credit back to my credit card, which would still be $488.50/hr, well above what a master plumber would charge.
Now when I write this, it's not to disparage the courteousness or the install from the plumber. It's to advise others of the predatory practices of Hero plumbing during a time of need. I finally got the refund back from Hero in the amount of $200, not the $204 which was promised. You might say it's only $4 they didn't give back to you but for me, this was the breaking point to write this review. In the service industry customer experience is everything and your word is your word. In the eyes of Hero Plumbing, this obviously is not the case. They might do good work if you plan ahead, but when a last-minute emergency arises, BE AWARE!
