Best Air Duct Installation in Minneapolis MN
We had a leaky utility room faucet that was fixed the same day that we called. We were very impressed with the level of professionalism that we received from the time that we called to when the gentleman left our house. We will definitely be using them again in the future.

Rumpca just installed a new hot water boiler and water softener in my home. They did an excellent job! The workmanship was great. The got the job done in a timely manner and the final bill was the exact same amount as the quote. 5 stars all the way!! They are definitely my new go to for all my heating, cooling and plumbing needs.

I've called on Comfort Matters a couple of times now and I will say they're quick, on-time, friendly, and helpful. You should be prepared for a heavy sales pitch though. They will 'helpfully' suggest hundreds of dollars in extra fixes you didn't know you needed (and probably don't), like a $700+ dollar electronic air filter I 'need' to get because the regular pleated filters are bad for the HVAC system. They'll also spend a lot of time trying to sell you a subscription to their twice annual maintenance program. If you know what you need done, and can say no to a sales pitch, Comfort Matters will do great work. If you're susceptible to sales pressure, you'll probably end up spending a lot of extra money.
Excellent work, drop the sales pressure and they're perfect.

We had Legend Services do all of the plumbing and heating work with finishing our basement and it came out great. They were on time, very friendly. Left no mess behind, professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone I know.

Always prompt. Quality work at a fair price.

Brian was the service guy and fixed my water heater. Turns out the issue was a dirty gas line to the heater that he cleaned out, I never would've figured that out! That night my furnace stopped working. They came right out next morning and it was coincidentally a dirty flame sensor that he cleaned for no charge. I will definitely use them again for maintenance or repairs.

We are SO HAPPY we called H2C Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing for a second opinion on our malfunctioning older boiler! We originally called the people with all the billboards in & around NE Mpls - they came away with Inform customer to replace boiler it's not worth putting over $3000 into it. Well, I just had this niggling feeling that something was not right about this - ended up finding a recommendation on the Facebook page North House for H2C -- $290 later we are up & running with heat throughout the house! myH2C.com

Very dissatisfied with the timeframe I was given. I was told between 10:00 and 12:00. I even called that morning to confirm and was told someone would be out to my house between 10 and 12. Received a text at 11:50 that Rick was on his way. 40 minutes later still no Rick. I called and was told he's on his way. Rick arrived at 1:15. Dressed professionally and polite. Rick did a very good job explaining what he did and the results of our furnace. Answered all my questions with great detail and I felt he was efficient. I just wish they could give a better timeline. I missed a half of a day of work waiting.

I had an outlet stop working so having seen multiple TV advertisements I decided to call Boy's. They get one star because when I scheduled my appointment they told me 1 PM and when the technician did not arrive I called to ask about the delay. They told me there was a window of time used for scheduling but because that's not what I was told they discounted the trip charge to my house and also took $50 off because I called them before Wednesday as was advertised on TV. That's the ONLY reason they get one star.
When their technician David showed up to my house he started right into the sales pitch pulling out a shiny pricing presentation and flipping through the pages. I made the mistake of telling him that I had a healthy fear of electricity. He played on my fears from that point on, looking at the outlet that needed fixing and immediately claiming it was a fire danger.
He asked to look at my breaker box and claimed it too,was a fire danger. He used the words melting wires and fire danger multiple times. I was so scared by his words I initialed his paperwork to perform what he called a diagnostic which in retrospect was just him walking through my house examining outlets and switches in his effort to convince me that my house was in need of a complete re-wire. He used a measuring tape to calculate the square footage of my home, even after I told him I'd refinanced my house recently and could provide the square footage of my house as calculated by an appraisal expert. The estimate came to $28,915 and he fully expected me to say yes immediately! I said I'd get a couple more bids and he launched into a diatribe on the lack of experience of any other electrical service in the area, claiming Boy's was the only trustworthy knowledgeable experts.
I asked him if he could install an outdoor light fixture on my garage and he said he could, for an additional charge of $112. I said no.
After all was said and done he charged me $460 dollars. He didn't fix anything. All I got out of it was a shiny folder with an exorbitant estimate. There was no follow-up and they cashed my check immediately.
Do yourself a favor and call anyone else instead of this company. All they want is your money

Contracted Sabre to install a garage heater which involved installing vent, running gas line from mechanical room, and installing the heater and thermostat. Top notch and did everything they said they would. Communication from both the office staff and field team was phenomenal and exceeded my expectations. I'd disregard older reviews. I can't speak to their service back then, maybe they made changes. They were prompt, on-time, and did exactly what they said they would. Thank you!

Housing inspector said we needed to replace about 6 feet of venting pipe for a dryer. Needed to use a licensed plumber. Deans came out and quoted $950 !!! The job would involve 2 guys for a couple of hours....there would be supplies needed, like tape.... The guy could hardly keep a straight face talking to my son about the job - apparently smirking the whole time. I would tell anyone who needs a licensed company to call ANYBODY else!!!!

We encountered BWS Heating almost by accident: they were chosen by our property management company to do emergency service on the water heater at our rental property in the Twin Cities area. At the time (01/18/2020) , we were out of the state and went along with their recommendation.
Simply put, I would never choose to do business with BWS again.
First, the diagnostic service that they provided cost us $188 because it involved overtime because the work occurred on a Saturday.
Second, the work involved in relighting the pilot light for the water heater cost us another $200.
Interestingly, our contract with Renters Warehouse stipulates a $400 ceiling on emergency repairs. As noted below, the charge of $388 was probably not an accident (see Fourth below).
Third, we received a quote for a new water heater with two options (either 40 or 50 gallon capacity) with pricing but no indication whatsoever about the manufacturer or any other product details for the units being proposed.
Fourth, after the immediate crisis was resolved, we learned that BWS pays a referral fee (or kickback) to Renters Warehouse whenever they are referred for a service call.
We did, in fact, contract with another company, one within 6 miles of our residence in contrast to the 25-30 mile distance for BWS. This firm not only provided us with specific details of the product options that they recommended, but went above & beyond installing the new water heater by making a couple of small improvements in our furnace room operation (at no additional cost, by the way).

Moving to a new home, needed some plumbing work before moving in. We called City View and scheduled an appointment for them to come out and give us an estimate on a couple of items that needed to be addressed. They came out on a Monday and promised an estimate by Wednesday. We called on Wednesday making sure they had our correct email, to which we were told rudely we would have it by the end of the day. Nothing!! Called late afternoon on Thursday again checking to see when we could expect it and making sure they had the correct email address. They apologized, saying they would get it out ASAP, NOTHING, no phone call, no email, no I'm sorry we have been busy, total silence. Apparently they have enough business, I would not recommend using them, unless you like a challenge!! They are only getting one star because I can't post without it!!

Happy New Year! Let's Party. That's what Dean's Heating Tech Joe S. must have been thinking. Because he certainly wasn't interested in fixing my furnace. Called Dean's on new years eve because my furnace was out. They told me for a $69 travel change someone would be there in an hour. When the Tech arrived he looked at my furnace for 2 minutes and told me there was nothing he could do. If i wanted try to fix it, it would be a $1000 with no guarantee or I could buy a new furnace from them for $5000-$10,000. Not sure what to do Tech Joe S. left us in the cold. A few days later I called METRO Heating for a 2nd opinion. The METRO Tech looked at my furnace for 2 minutes and after replacing the thermostat upstairs the furnace worked fine. Quick and easy. I think Dean's Heating is more interested in selling you a new furnace regardless if the old one can be fixed. My advice, get a 2nd opinion before trusting anything Dean's Heating tells you. Good Luck

So, I had my sewer backed up and called Rol Air. They came out and $600 stated they had cleaned out the pipe and there weren't many roots. Two weeks later I had a more severe back up and called them again. They charged me $250 to tell me the same thing that it was cleaned out- nothing was coming up and it was likely a belly in the pipe. They don't do bellies. So I just had Roto-Rooter out here and they looked at the pipe and found ROOTS. Not a belly. They said there were quite a few roots in there likely causing the issue. So I spend $850 at Rol Air to do absolutely nothing. I will NEVER recommend this company. I have contacted the Better Business Beureau for taking advantage of me and charging that much money to not do their job.

They are the most ridiculously expensive plumbers I've ever hired. They showed up and sat in my driveway for almost half an hour before finally coming in. Meanwhile, I have my pets locked up so this was highly inconvenient. While they have done good work, you will pay at least 2-3x what other plumbers charge. It cost 600 dollars just to replace a flapper & fill valve on a toilet. I am the dummy that paid it but once you have them in your house, you just want the issues fixed. That is what they are betting on and must be part of their business model. Inconvenient and overly expensive to sum it up.

We contacted Uptown because of an issue with our furnace, and while there was a problem related to the repair, the owner was great in helping us to resolve it. She clearly cares about her customers and her company, and we were satisfied with the resolution.
