Best Heater Installation in Milwaukee WI
I read numerous positive reviews on Thumbtack regarding water softener repairs by this outfit, and I'm VERY pleased to say Waterfoul Plumbing did not disappoint! Corey was very professional, very courteous, and corrected our issue. Because our softener is 20+ years old, I figured we would have to purchase a new one, however, Corey indicated the unit was fine but just needed a new part. He corrected our issue within an hour. He's also very reasonable in terms of price. Waterfoul is now our go-to for all of our plumbing needs. Thanks, Corey!

Very professional, clean, and quick, no hidden charges, same day service, reasonable rates, honest opinion and offered suggestions on how to save costs. He had all necessary materials with him. I would highly recommend his service especially in an emergency.

Jon came over this morning to give me an estimate on a new A/c unit, but first checked my old unit to check any issues. In the end he found that my unit works great with zero issues, I just needed to change out my air filter on my furnace. I really appreciate that he didn't try to just sell me something and was honest and thorough. Nice guy too. I will use Jon when ever I have issues. Thanks for being a stand up guy and honest

We recently moved into a house and this was our first time hiring a plumber. That being said, it was daunting to decide who we wanted to go with. Jay from Norman's Home Improvements made the decision easier for us, as he was thoughtful and willing to discuss our possible plumbing issues right away, before even booking an appointment. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Norman's to anyone who was looking for assistance. Our experience was a good one, and our issue was resolved with one visit. The total cost was especially reasonable, and we feel we learned a lot in the process - it is always a great thing when someone is willing to explain things to you and answer questions, versus just completing the job.
I reached out to numerous plumbers and companies, but Jay's response stood out right away. While most people were happy to give me a (fairly high) ballpark quote which left me wondering if I would be taken advantage of for my lack of plumbing knowledge, Jay was happy to discuss the possibilities of why our kitchen sink had stopped working for no apparent reason ahead of time, before even booking an appointment. He was able to come take a look at our sink just a couple of days later, on a Friday evening. He spent some time discussing the plumbing of our house with us in general, which was extremely helpful as we only moved a few weeks ago. He was happy to answer questions and make sure we understood things, which we really appreciated. He was professional and explained the cost ahead of time after diagnosing the issue and prior to completing additional work beyond the base service fee for the visit.
Norman's Home Improvements was a good first experience for us, and I would gladly hire them in the future for additional work. In addition to plumbing, they also do work on electrical, HVAC, and carpentry. We would highly recommend Norman's and we especially appreciated the willingness to not only perform the work but explain the process to us as well.

Our kitchen sink was leaking, and when I closed the shut-off valves under the sink, they leaked, too. I called and was able to get a same-day appointment. Dan was very friendly and professional, and the price was very reasonable. I am very satisfied with the results and would gladly hire him again.

Our shower broke Sunday afternoon, we called and they even worked with us to try to not get the weekend rate. You can tell they care about their costumers.
When it came time for the appointment, we recieved noticed that our technician was in route. John made sure i understood everything we should be looking at and was very knowledgeable about common issues. He explained everything with the invoice and when the problem was different than expected, let me know, and adjusted the bill as necessary.
Would definitely work with again!

Please note: This is all my opinion - based on thought, text messaging, voicemails, & actual verbal discussion. I am sure I am in no way fully innocent either and do not claim to be. Just wanted to prevent other potential frustrations. Request response: ...2 options...cut the pipe and use a rubber coupling or try to remove it from the wall which is the better way but would take longer - quoted price $400 or less. 6.8: Jeff came to install. When leaving, asked if pay was cash/check, discount with cash. Price dropped $50 - he didn't have correct change, he increased charge to meet his change. Didn't have receipts on hand, wrote an artificial one on another company's paper, stating he'd drop one off that night - never dropped off, told it was going to be 'tomorrow'. 6.9: Still no receipt. Promise(d) to drop one off Sunday. 6.11: Jeff at our neighbors house, said hi while there - didn't leave a receipt for us, stated he didn't have any more, he would pick some receipts up & mail one today. We continued to inquire about the charge as only rubber couplings were placed, not actual new piping - what the $400 quote was for - less if he did the couplings. No response. 6.12: Message resent. Response - he didn't know what we were asking. Reminded, still no receipt & questioned charges. No response. Message resent & asking if he would meet us on a pricing point. 6.13: Multiple messages sent, no response. We requested to meet at $250 - absolutely not. We asked to meet at $300 as the more expensive option was not done, no response. Reported to the BBB, was told we needed to get it down or threatened with attorney involvement. Stated he already offered reimbursement. Explained we were never told anything about any reimbursement to date. We reminded him again that we paid cash & he stated a receipt was already sent, then was told no receipt had been sent. Inquired about the charge, with what I feel, a not so pleasant voicemail. 6.14: Requested to have all communication texted so no one could 'lie'' as accused. Again asked for clarification on job done and price. Jeff's response open the bottom of the cabinet. Not being plumbers, we requested explanation. Continued to inquire for clarification, we resent a copy of the original receipt, still no updated receipt. Again asked what the job was, to confirm a receipt and $60 were in the mail. Jeff's response, ...all of your neighbors who I do work for on a regular basis will be surprised by the way your treating me.... We again asked what we had been - what job was done, confirm our receipt & $60 were placed in the mail. Received, what we feel, a curt response. We noted that if he couldn't confirm or follow-through, we would update the BBB as they'd requested. He stated he was unclear what we were asking. We again noted the prior. Pics were then sent by us showing him the job he'd done & the areas on the wall that would need repair (Never divulged to us). We again inquired about the job for clarification & that the rubber coupling was supposed to be the 'cheaper' option (& cash = discount). No response. 6.18: Jeff was at our neighbors home, we requested a receipt & our return of funds ($60). Jeff met with us, told us his short life story & what he did (we think based off the pictures we previously sent). I tried to explain what our thought process was for our frustration. Jeff walked away, didn't want to hear our thoughts, he didn't care, & he'd write up our receipt & give us $50. Confused - we agreed on $60... Receipt left = interesting, in our opinion. More detailed & new total overall charge = $312.90. Why were we charged $400 on the day of completion? Paying cash = discounted rate - quoted $400 (the day of, for a job I'd come to realize wasn't done), discounted to $350 (same day, paying cash, he had no change, charge increased to $360), new receipt now shows overall charge of $312.90 - if we were originally given a discount of $50 (paying cash - we thought it'd be the same = a total discounted charge = $262.90), were reimbursed $50 = bringing our total that we physically paid to $310 - with an end cash discount of $2.90.
At one point, lying was discussed, I have done my best not to. If you would like any proof of any of this, I have receipts, voicemails, and text messages to prove it.

Bob did a great job doing some plumbing work for me while I wasn't even home! I appreciate his thorough and complete job, no mess left behind, a complete and exact invoice, and a working outside hose! His bill was reasonable! I will definitely call him again!

Called Bohmann Friday morning asking if they had someone who could come out to put in a warranty replacement part that Rheem had sent me for my hot water heater. The man in the office said sure, no problem we can send someone out tomorrow morning. They then called me later in the day saying they could come out that afternoon to do the replacement because someone else cancelled.
Brian Bohmann came with a woman named Sally and I brought them down into the basement where the hot water heater was and gave him the part that Rheem sent to replace (it was a thermopile).
He told me it would cost $316 for him to do the work to replace the part! I said that doesn't seem right. The hot water heater itself is probably only worth $500. He became very ruined and insisted I then had to pay the $65 service call fee for him coming out. $65 for him to walk into my basement and walk back out.
No one had ever mentioned to me there would be a fee just for him to come. Not on the phone when I made the appointment and not when we got there. I literally had to pay him $65 for him to come to my house and leave.
I then had another plumber come and replace the part for $50 and he did it in 30 minutes. Brian was going to charge $316! Do not use these people! They will rip you off!

Zero stars. Overpriced and did not clear my pipes in September. Charged for things the plumber did not do. They do not guarantee their work and refused to come fix the problem. Because of them I had continued sewer backup and property damage. New plumber came out today and found that Milwaukee Plumbing had only opened a small hole in the blockage and had not cleared it.

Want to be taken advantage of and defrauded? This is the company for you!!! Called them because I saw some corrosion on the pipe under my sink. Tech showed up and told me he estimates $325. I figured this would be a bit of a time consuming job. 20 min later, he's done. Cut off and replaced 1/2 an inch of iron pipe with pvc. Did not bother to check a bit deeper into the wall to find that the corrosion on the visible part is the same behind the wall. When I called the office to ask why such a high charge for 20 min of work, I was told we sent you a tech the same day. Right, because he was working another job right down the street. Even with a service charge and min 1 hour, you still can't get to $325. Did i mention I then had to have another plumbing company out to actually do the job this company didn't?? Never ever ever again. Disgusting. Wish I could give negative stars

I called Ben to unclog my bathroom drain. He arrived around 9:30 a.m. He told me it was clogged in the sewer line and he would have to snake it. He started snaking the sewer drain. After a couple hours I asked him how it was going, and he said it was bad but he thought he could get it. I checked on him every couple hours after that and he said he thought he could clear the clog. At around 5 or 6 o'clock he told me he thought the sewer pipe was BROKEN outside the house and he wouldn't be able to fix it today. He gave me a 5 THOUSAND DOLLAR QUOTE!!!!! to fix the sewer pipe. So, I asked how much I owed him for the day, and he charged me $850 and didn't accomplish anything. He was also on his cellphone about 90% of the time. The next day I had Roto Rooter come in and they cleared my CLOGGED sewer pipe by the end of the day. The sewer pipe was never broken. I would never have or recommend flow rite do any plumbing in my house.

As stated in a previous review the owner of Wilkes is scary! He has no qualms about being rude to customers if he feels in the right! They do good work-the plumbers that work for him are nice- he is not! I would steer clear and hire another company that's more professional because if the owner shows up on your job and there is a discrepancy- heaven help you- short fuse!
