Had a rush water heater replacement need- company was able to help next day. Dave came out and was fantastic for explaining options, answering questions on pros and cons and then handling the unexpecteds as they came up doing the work.
Great experience in a less than fun moment. A+ to the company.

Our shower broke Sunday afternoon, we called and they even worked with us to try to not get the weekend rate. You can tell they care about their costumers.

When it came time for the appointment, we recieved noticed that our technician was in route. John made sure i understood everything we should be looking at and was very knowledgeable about common issues. He explained everything with the invoice and when the problem was different than expected, let me know, and adjusted the bill as necessary.

Would definitely work with again!

They did respond quickly but their price is outrageous. They would not tell you their labor per hour cost over the phone.

Never again will I use them. One of the first things I asked was if there a cost/charge for someone to come out and was told NO. According to them it takes 48 hours before you get a receipt! I received what they would call service on a Monday and by Friday STILL didn't have a receipt. I had to call and request it! I review the receipt and there's a charge for a vehicle surcharge!!! $29.99. Now you lie and you're not honest about what and how you charge? My issue was a tub faucet that was draining. I was charged $280 when the issue wasn't completely fixed. That faucet is STILL DRIPPING. The tech leaves my home TWICE for parts. The first time he left he later realized that I HAD THE PARTS ALREADY on the counter sitting next to him. He spent too much time looking for parts that ultimately didn't even fix the issue. THEN when he sees that he didn't fix the issue he told me that an estimate would be sent to me for what it would take to completely fix the issue. The tech also relayed that Mr Rooter would take the bill from that day and deduct what I paid that day from the estimate since the issue wasn't completely fixed. At the end of his 'service' he had no problem taking my credit card info but from the field couldn't provide a receipt?? What is that?! Guess what else I had to call for? The estimate that I was told would be sent to me. The tech also said that I'd get a call about this estimate but NAH didn't happen. I had to call to track down that estimate too! The estimate didn't include a discounted cost including what I just paid this week. Mr. Rooter is full of lies and I'll never spend another dime with this company. Look elsewhere for your plumbing needs.

John from Mr. Rooter did an excellent job. He was late, but the office called and not only informed us he would be late but also told us why and gave us a new estimated time of arrival. The company communicates very well via calls, texts and emails.

John diagnosed our problem (clogged up kitchen sink that had not drained for days) and fixed it. He also crawled down into our disgusting crawl space to try to figure out how the pipes had been installed!

They did charge more than I paid in the past for snaking out clogged pipes, but John told me upfront how much it would be and got my approval.

John was professional, thorough and very nice. I recommend him highly.

My review is about their responsiveness to providing a quote.    First,  the overall communication was great.  Despite my tight schedule,  we found a time that worked. I work during the day and I get a lot phone calls and spam calls.  Thus,  often I cannot answer the phone  if I am juggling texts and a video call.   The caller ID does not help with some businesses.  I confirmed an appointment with Mr Rooter for around 1 pm on Friday via email and Yelp text.  Now, I totally get it that with the price of gas,  no one wants to make a trip to a home and no one is there.  But,  I lived out in the wilds of Massachusetts and business would show up for the scheduled time.  Only, in Wisconsin have I experienced two companies who did not come to the house because I did not answer their phone call.  One of which I had already paid for the job! Thus, I appreciated  despite the fact that I could not answer the same day just-to-make-sure-you are-there phone call, Mr Rooter came at the scheduled time,  on a Friday with nice weather. I figured out how the get the work done without a plumber,  but I will call Mr Rooter for my next job.

Tried to high pressure sell me to get the job. poor customer service. Had everything they needed  to quote me. Went somewhere else.

Will not use these guys again. Tech was in and out of a rental property within 15 minutes, to snake a toilet. Got charged for 1 hour of labor, twice, for both a toilet adjustment and for the snake. Price was exorbitantly high. My fault for having gone through with it after they quoted it but even after escalating the matter the management stood by their pricing. Look elsewhere first.

Had a slow drain on a kitchen sink.  Tech came out and gave an estimate of $330.00 for the service.  It seemed high,  but what do I know.  He snaked the drain and said he did not find anything.  I paid the bill.  the next day I received the invoice that stated I had purchased a $99 3 year advantage plan membership.  He never mentioned it.  Called the company to have it removed and if they room the $99 then the bill increased by $80.  What awesome is the folder they handed me at the time of service warner warning me about getting ripped off!

Fast and friendly service!! Repair man rebuilt the items with ease, where another service guy would've had me replace all the valves and spend more money! Great job

Very good experience. Plumber was on time, analyzed the problem, gave me an estimate and installed our pump.

Early Sunday morning my basement sewer had backed up, from tree roots clogging sewer line. After looking at many reviews of many plumbing companies I called Mr. Rooter. I received an immediate response. They responded quickly, evaluated the situation and gave me an estimate. Immediately took care of the problem- answering all my questions. They cleaned up everything when finished. They were professional and explained everything. They also offered advice on how to help try and prevent further issues in the future. The price was what was quoted to me and I didn't  feel like I was being sold on anything that I didn't need. I feel like they did a great job. I will definitely use them again in the future as well as recommend them to anyone.

Your technicians don't just come in and throw the job together they investigate why the problem exists and provide you with preventive measures.
