Best Heating in Memphis TN
These guys are great....prompt response and came quickly to solve our problem which was a deeply clogged pipe that caused our kitchen sink to back up. We had called a couple of plumbers before who could not come out for a week but we needed to use our kitchen sink! The problem wasn't easily solved but they were tenacious and kept trying until it was. They will definitely be our go-to in the future.

One word - FANTASTIC!!! Arlington Comfort is absolutely amazing. One of my units went out and I found myself dealing with various companies who had the worst customer service. I was literally at my wits end when I was referred to Arlington Comfort. I can't begin to tell you how wonderful they were. The best customer service ever. From arriving on time to ensuring no damage was done to my home during the replacement of my unit. Mrs. Yolanda Watkins is AMAZING!!! She is so caring and so positive. Arlington Comfort was simply a breath of fresh air. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Arlington Comfort is Wonderful!!!

I've used them exclusively for 23 years, but they recently replaced a water heater for me and the entire experience has been a bad one. They cut a hole in my ceiling and didn't tell me they wouldn't replace it until after the new heater was installed. Then, when the office staff called to schedule the code inspection I was given a date and waited all day with no code inspector arriving. I called the plumber the next day and was told they called me (no call or message recorded on my phone) 2 weeks ago to let me know the code inspectors don't do water heaters on Mondays or Tuesdays (my appt. was on a Monday) and it was really hard to get an appointment made for an inspection. I called the inspector's myself and they laughed when I told them the excuse I was given and said that was absolutely false, they do inspections on water heaters Mon-Fri. So I asked if I could make my own appointment and cut out the plumber. They gave me the permit number and other information to schedule an appointment myself and I did it in under 5 minutes with no problem whatsoever. Needless to say, I will not use Ray Baker again. They lied to me and were inherently inept at the way they handled the situation. It's disappointing, especially after 23 years of good service.

Called Hiller on a Saturday morning, was told that a service person would be out to the house after 6pm that day. When no one showed or called by 8:00pm, we were told they were coming, and it would be before 9:00pm. It's now after 9 and no call, no service! Wasted a day when we could have called another company out to fix our problem. Won't be using Hiller!

We are renovating our home. New fixtures, new pipes, new valves. Everything leaks! I'm not a plumber but I can do better!

I would give ZERO stars if I could
I am very disappointed with the service of this company. In the past 6 months I have replaced an HVAC package unit with a Trane prackage unit, and TWO hot water heaters. In the spring, the HVAC guys came out to give us a tune up for $75 on top of the 12K that we've spent with the company. In the beginning of June, our new thermostat said service required. We called for service. The COMPRESSOR was bad on our BRAND NEW UNIT. THUS, we have no air. We were WITHOUT air for a week. Lucky for us, Memphis summer has been kind until now. We were set to have the new compressor replaced a week and three days post initial repair call...only to find out we needed an additional wire. All of that to say....the owner was NEVER AVAILABLE TO TAKE MY CALL. when I used this company 5ish years ago as they were starting up he was always available, and I'm frankly disappointed with how they have treated this entire situation. They are happy to accept new business, take money, but when repairs are needed that are under warranty expect to wait.

Beware. They came out and fixed my bathtub drain. Simple procedure. The total was over $800. They were charging by the hour and not job. He messed up and apologized many times but I was still out $800. By the way, the drain is still broken but I am afraid to call back.

RW Heating & Air came out to our house as a result of calling our house warranty about a bad water heater. They determined that we needed a new water heater, new plumbing throughout the house (we have C-PVC plumbing), and quoted a 10 yr guarantee on the water heater. We cashed opted to cash out from our warranty and purchased a new heater from RW. The next day two technicians came out to install the heater. They did not check to see if the drain pipe went outside of the house or was plugged...just drained the heater...inside the wall. Water came out on the outside wall, into the wall, and possibly into the sheetrock. A supervisor came out, claimed the drain was our fault and they would not pay for damages. He also stated that they do not have 10 year guarantees. According to my wife he was rude and disrespectful during the conversation and at one point, when questioned about previous comments, he refused to speak with her any more. The technicians ran the drain out through the house eves and reconnected the old water heater. This is our third encounter with this company and in 2 of the 3 encounters the technicians did not seem to know what they were doing. If dealing with this company I strongly recommend caution. They seem more interested in telling the customer that their plumbing is bad and selling all new plumbing from RW.

This company is a rip off. I paid $750 for an HVAC condenser unit, and all I got was a bucket of non-working rust. Does not honor his contract or guarantees. I would never use them nor recommend them to my worst enemy.

Called them with specific instructions to replace garbage disposal and kitchen faucet, and check other faucets in property while there, and detailed instructions to call property owner when they were at the location. None of this was done. They left a paper which after their trip charge etc. totaled over $200 with the recommendation that the faucet needed to be replaced, which is why they had been called to begin with. After calling their office I was asked if I would now like them to come out and replace the faucet. Do not make the mistake of using this company to be bilked for nothing!

I have a contract with American Home Shield, so when my refrigerator broke down, I gave them a call. They promptly took care of my problem and I was contacted by Greenway Home Services. After describing the issue I was having, they said they were swamped and it would be 2 weeks before they could come out and diagnose the problem. I wasn't happy to be without my refrigerator for 2 weeks, but I had kept my old refrigerator in the carport so while I would be inconvenienced, I could wait 2 weeks to have my 4 year old refrigerator fixed. When they came out, they said it was the compressor and that it would take at least a week to 10 days to order the part, and get it in. I really wasn't happy finding out that I would have to wait another week to ten days before it was repaired, but at this point, I didn't feel like I had much of a choice. Sure enough, after 10 days, they called and said the part was in. My relief that the part was finally in, quickly turned to anger when they told me they couldn't come out and replace the compressor for another 2 weeks. I was so angry, no I was livid with that news, and I couldn't believe what I was hearing, much less having to explain all this to my wife!!! As you know, it was my fault that it broke in the first place, because I'm the one that picked out the LG Refrigerator in the first place!! My God, how could I have been so stupid! After waiting another 2 weeks, they finally showed up with the replacement part. He put it on, said that it was good to go, but that it would take 24 to 48 hours before it would start really getting cold. I shook my head, telling him that I had never hearing anything like that before, but he was supposed to be the expert, right? He put the part on late Friday afternoon on the 5th of June, but when Sunday came, and the refrigerator was still warm inside, in fact it felt warmer than it did when this ordeal started. So on Monday morning June 8th I promptly called Greenway Home Services and told the operator that it wasn't fixed. When she said that it would take 2 weeks before they could come out and take a look at it, I completely lost it. When I yelled saying that that was unacceptable and demanded to speak to her boss, she said that she would have her call me, and hung up. I was now really fired up! I went online, and looked up Reference USA, (a free resource through the Memphis Public Library) And quickly found out who the CEO of Greenway Home Services was, and his contact information, and I called him directly. He wasn't in, but after talking to his executive Secretary, and after explaining to her my entire ordeal, to hear her sticking to this same 2 week bull****, I hung up and called American Home Shield and explained to them everything I had been through and how angry I was. During this entire ordeal, I never blamed AHS. They did there part, using a company that I, at one time, considered reputable. The operator at AHS, listened to my entire story, and I could tell or sense she really understood my frustration and anger. She scolded me for not reaching out to them before now, and when she asked me if she could put me on a brief hold, I inwardly sighed and rolled my eyes and said no problem, expecting the worst. While I was on hold, I received a text message from Sears home services, asking if they could come out Wednesday between 1-5 to fix my refrigerator. I couldn't comprehend what I was reading. While I was on a brief hold, this lady had called and set me up another service call that was only 2 days away. I was ecstatic to put it mildly. When she got back to me, and before she could even explain what she had done for me, I told her about the text. I literally felt like I had won the lottery or something. After that, so playfully scolded me for not getting back to them before now. To wrap this up, Sears came out as scheduled fixed my refrigerator on the spot, showing me where Greenway Services had screwed up. Moving forward, I would not use or hire Greenway Services to change my lightbulb. How they stay in business, I have no idea. Also, I am extremely happy with Sears Home Services, and American Home Shield. I'm even happier to finally have my refrigerator back, after 7 long weeks!!
