Had a problem with our septic system late Easter Sunday evening, and Jacob from Greenway came out right away and was very  professional and diagnosed our issue quickly.

If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Don't waste your money, time, or sanity working with this company to repair your AC. They don't intend to do any work, but do want to take as much of your money (and sanity) as possible in the process.

They charged me a fee to come out then gave me a grossly padded and inflated quote ($16K) for work they hadn't even deemed as necessary in their assessment.

When trying to drill down into what was actually needed (over multiple calls with over 10 customer service agents) their highest ranking technical manager, Mike,  remained committed to the scam, quoting  $850 for a condensation pump mod (available online for less than $100) as reasonable without him or his techs even looking at it.

Needless to say, the inflated quote led the warranty company to reach out for clarity. Rather than being transparent, they tried to bypass them and upsell me a hvac system they themselves admitted was unnecessary. Furthermore, they refused to send the accurate diagnosis to AHS because they knew the most expensive parts would have to be covered and they didn't want to lose good standing with the company that provides them so many clients. They are willing to work overtime to disenfranchise the customer in service of this relationship.

Even after over a month of repeated calls and scheduled visits (the last of which they did not even show up for and have yet to reschedule) my AC remains broken on the hottest summer on record and repeated calls continue to end in frustration and inexplicably yet another $300 fee.

The whole process is a scam and it should be unconscionable that a company be more committed to money than the safety of their customers during a record heat wave.

If you are like me and have a family you need to keep alive, avoid working with this company at all costs!!

I'm up at 4:06 am, can't sleep because of the smell coming from my shower and because my air isn't working properly. I used greenway services for both. They came in talking about the problem and act as if they were going to fix but all they did is got my service fee for both. They had no interest in solving the problem. They definitely don't stand by their name or the commercials that I have heard on the radio. Horrible , horrible company. Ripoff!!!

Took advantage of my lack of knowledge about hvac systems and prices, charged me $11,000 for 2 ton system last year, I just replaced a 4 ton system today and it cost me $6,000. I can't believe they would rob me like that, I've been struggling to pay it off.

I definitely would not recommend. They will not get back to you in a timely manner. Plumber came out and looked at my sewer line and said it was on the city side...it was not. I think the job was too big or they didn't want to do it. Thank God for one of their competitors

They are absolutely the worst.  A tech came out to fix our heating unit, disconnect the a/c, and promise he would order the part to take care of the issue, and never came back.  When I called to ask, I was told it's not in the notes so you need to take it up with your home warranty service.  I called back and they hung up on me!  I persisted and finally spoke with Allie the Customer Service Manager who repeated the same message, got rude with me, and said, she'd see if the Service Manager can send someone out.

Greenway is great at overpromising and underdelivering.

I have an American Home Shield Warranty that I will be canceling and I will not use Greenway Home Services anymore either.  Here it is, the hottest week so far this year and my air went out. Made an appt through the warranty co with Greenway. Then I called Greenway and said the earliest they could get there would be 6/16/22. I called the warranty co back and they said they expedited with Greenway and it would be repaired in 24 hours.  Got a text from Greenway saying they'd be out on the 21st !! They don't want to do any warranty work. It  gets pushed way out so that if it is something major, you HAVE to call someone else ! All these MR GREENWAY commercials is a bunch of you know what ! I even asked about the advertisement saying they would be on there way to your problem within 30 minutes.  ONLY if you pay 150.00
up front for expedited services, that is not applied to your repair. I'm done with them and I used to sing their praises.  NOT ANY MORE !!!

At the moment they get a two star rating.  Repair man came out on Friday to repair my upstairs unit.  This unit was installed by Greenway in 2016.  Parts were covered but was required pay labor fees for the repair.  The next day I noticed the upstairs a little warm.  It was only in the mid 70s so the unit should have no problem cooling off the upstairs.  It is now Sunday and it is hot.  Called the emergency line and left message but no return call.  Tomorrow is Memorial day and I have family coming over and the upstairs is now going to be uncomfortable.  I can only hope to get a call from their on-call person, but my gut tells me I will need to call again on Tuesday during business hours.

If I could give a minus 100 I would. I has a a/c guy come out thinking that my issues would be less than $500 deductible with American Home Sheild. My a/c guy found that the compressor had gone out and told me to contact AHS. Terrible customer services and they lie to us. Our home warranty company referred us to them. I had to call them after 24 hrs because they couldn't be bothered. They acted as if they never received the referral until I pressed them. Oh-I found it!! They assigned a technician to my home. They sent me a email stating their technician was ill and they would need to reschedule in 5 more days. So they were able to have someone over in 36 hrs but now it's 5 more days in 100+ degree temps. Being a businessperson, I know that they make more $$ doing their own work vs. home warranty contract jobs. They are liars!!!!

Follow up to my previous post: Greenway sent someone different out the next day to my sister's house. Darrell was polite, neat and knowledgeable and fixed all the things Rob had messed up (including the front door). Hopefully, Rob is the one bad apple in the Greenway barrel!

I do not recommend this company. My 94 year old relative a/c went out . The temperature was almost 100. They said the could not come out that day, but would be there between noon and 5:00 p.m. the next day. We called the next day at 1:45 p.m. to check on the status and they confirmed they would be there before 5:00 p.m. At 4:50 p.m., no one arrived. We called again and were told we were the next on the list. By 6:00 p.m., no one arrived. We called again and were told we were still next. They said they said they would call in an hour with an update. No one called back and no one every came. Their answering service pages them and they never called back. Despicable to take advantage of a senior citizen. We had to call another company.

Terrible experience here in Tennessee.. Contracted through American Shield Home Warrenty.  Technician came out to inspect our tankless hot water heater. He was scheduled to be at my home between 8am-12pm. Received a text at 7am that there was an emergency and another tech would be out between 12-5pm. Cancelled the rest of my work day (that I don't get paid for because I'm self employed) to wait. Technician shows up, was here for about 10 minutes and said it was the heat regulator leaking but he never opened up the water heater to see if there was rust damage. Also said he didn't understand why it was in our crawl, space.  Why even make that comment? I didn't install it.  I'm told the part will take 3 business days to arrive.

It takes three weeks.  So they text me yesterday and say the part arrived and they could be at my house between 8-12 today. I rescheduled my work clients to make it work.  I get a text at 7 am just like the last one, that the technician had an emergency but they have another tech who can come between 12-5.  I called and said I could not do that because I had to work. They change me back to 8-12 time slot.  Same technician as before arrives at 1:00.  So I lose another day of work.  Takes the water heater apart to replace the part then proceeds to tell me the tray underneath the part is rusty from the water and he can't guarantee it will work.  (Why didn't he check this when he first came out?) Advises me to submit a revised diagnoses of the problem to American Home Shield.  He tells me he doesn't get paid enough to deal with these types of jobs. When he leaves, he doesn't put the old water heater back together, leaves all the wires exposed and there's water leaking onto the wires.

But wait! There's more.  Now there's no water in my bathroom? It was all working this morning before the technician showed up.  So I call and was told the manager could not be reached after hours and there was nothing they could do.  Exposed wires and water is a fire hazard.  Not having a shower ( even with just cold water) is a health hazard.

I have notified American Home Shield and will be notifying the Better Business Bureau as well as the FTC.

Beware of this company. Pretty sure the only positive reviews they have are from friends and family.  Check them out on YELP. If I could give negative stars ratings I would.

Do everything you can to stay away from this company.
1, the contractor demanded extra charge before service was completed. Had to call the company to sort it out. Unprofessional.
2. the contractor threw the dirty on the drain and we had to call plumber to fix the issue he created
3. the contractor didn't fix the ac. We had another contractor came and fix the issue.

It is a nightmare. Stay away from them as far as you can.

I called them to replace a toilet. They said they could come on Saturday between 12 and 5. No one came out so I called and was told the service guy had a family emergency but would be there on Sunday between 12 and 5. No one called or came out. Once again I called, no answer. The guy finally called at 7:50 pm and asked if I still wanted him to come out. At this point I was so mad I told him no I would find someone else. I called and got their answering machine and told them their customer service sucked!!

Do not use HomeServ by Greenway for appliance repair services.  I've been trying for 2 months to get my washing machine repaired.  The first technician misdiagnosed it twice.  Both times he came to my home and said it was fixed. But when I ran the washer, the same problem still existed.  So for the third service call I requested a different technician.  A replacement timer was ordered, but the second technician returned to my home with the wrong part.  Then the part was ordered a second time, and still a second wrong part was received.  We are still waiting on that right part. I spoke with someone in customer service last week who promised me he would find out what was going on and call me back.  I have not heard back from anyone a week after that promise.  Along the way I've tried to speak with a service supervisor several times.  I'm always told a supervisor is not available, they just walked out, they are at lunch, they haven't come in yet.
It's been my experience that this company does not have qualified technicians, has poor parts inventory management, does not follow up with the customer and shows no accountability for completing the repair.  Very poor service.

Sadly long time customers with a hvac maintenance contract but as the years have gone by the quality of services has deteriorated. We are American Home Shield policy holders so we attempt to use them for plumbing, appliance repair and hvac needs. We had techs tell us they couldn't figure it out, we googled the issue for him. This week had an appointment for summer service- no show no call. We call tech quit today but no one at Greenway called us. We found out when we called them. Rescheduled for today. Text a little after 3 one client next then you. At 7:30 reached to call center and hit a non answer answer. Tech shows a little before 8 and is cleaning and serving outside units with hose and flashlight. Got some concerns about the quality and thoroughness of that work. Will certainly be discussing find new maintenance provider.

Came to repair HVAC unit. Slightly annoying it was a 2 step process - first a tech came out to assess, then they sent their estimator/salesperson to walk through findings with me and try to upsell. Estimator/salesperson Linzey said he ordered a new compressor which would take 7-10 days and they would call when arrive (not ideal in the Memphis heat but I understand).  I called them 11 days later to check on this - and they hadn't ordered the part!!! To add insult to injury, they are entirely unapologetic and the only person willing to speak with me to understand what is happening is the main person who answers the phone, not anyone who worked on my job to understand if there is some other kind of issue or what happened!! Wouldn't use again.

Please save your time, energy, and sanity and CALL SOMEONE ELSE!!! Greenway came out to my home on 3/02/21 to look at my washing machine that was not working. The machine would not display any of the wash cycles and the door was locked so you could not open it. The technician told me at that time they would need to order a new control panel however they could not access the model and serial number due to the door being locked. Since this machine is a little over 2 years old I provided this information from my original receipt of purchase. He told me he would be able to order it and they would be back out to install it. It has now been almost 2 months and they still have not returned to my home and my washer is still broken. When I called Greenway they stated there was no part on order and they didn't have the model/serial # to order it which was completely ludicrous because this was already provided to them.
The only solution they had was to send the same technician out again to attempt to open the door to the washing machine so we are literally starting the process all over  I have been without a washing machine for two months and spending time and money to go to a laundry mat while they apparently decided to do nothing. This company has no respect for their customers  seek service somewhere else. Good luck out there.

We had a technician come and install a clean out and other technician came out to jet our sink because it was super clogged. The second technician that came out was here not even for an hour and claimed that he got it unclogged. Not even an hour later our sink was still clogged. Technician did not do his job and charged us a lot. Not mention when he was doing the jet it backed up into our toilet and got dirt and mud all over the bathroom floor. Horrible.

TERRIBLE COMPANY. I don't believe I have ever written a bad review... but this company deserves it. I had them come out in October to fix my dishwasher that is leaking, not drying dishes, and running for over 3 hours per wash. They told me that it was the heating element that needs replaced (which I believe it does but that still doesn't solve the leaking which is the biggest issue). They told me it would be a week or so but didn't come back until JANUARY. I understand COVID has caused delays, but they didn't even once call to let me know, I had to call them myself after not hearing from them at all. So, they come in January to replace the heating element and discover that they can't get the dishwasher out of the counter, however the guy can see underneath and tells me that the wiring is exposed and doesn't look safe so he would be recommending replacement. He said he would submit the report within 24 hours. A few weeks later I call my home warranty company and they don't have any record of the report but they will contact Greenway to get it. A few weeks later again, I call, and the home warranty company says that Greenway just says it is the heating element, nothing else wrong, doesn't need replacement, etc. SO I call Greenway to figure out what happened and the woman who answered and called herself the manager was SO INCREDIBLY RUDE to me. Basically insinuated I was making the whole thing up, no one ever said it needed replaced, etc. I said I wanted to speak with the technician that came to my house and she refused and gave me a huge attitude and was extremely condescending and unprofessional. I was just floored. I would NEVER speak to a customer that way. Avoid this company at all costs. It is now almost 6 months later and I STILL don't have a working dishwasher and they aren't offering any solutions, only being rude and shutting me down when I attempt to call. I would like to speak with an owner if you read this, because I am just honestly disgusted by the attitude of the employee I spoke with. It is NOT okay to treat customers that way.

Edited to add: The technician that came to my house was very professional and friendly, so I have no issues with him, except for the fact that he told me my dishwasher needed replaced but then supposedly didn't put that in the report.

I paid Greenway Home Services twice to fix a leaky faucet in my upstairs bathroom tub. Both times the technician failed to repair or identify the problem and eventually told me I needed to replace the entire system.

I called Conway Services and the technician identified the problem and fixed the leak within 45mins. He was able to identify that the issue was the cartridge and that the cartridge he removed had not been replaced since the house was built meaning that Greenway didn't think to replace it or was able to identify it was bad.

This is ridiculous that I had two pay this company full price twice just to not have my issue resolved and the technician knew it wasn't resolved both times he left. I called and was asked for my invoices and I explained that I am in the military and I am constanly moving around so I do not have those invoices, but I find it hard to belive that they do not have record of servicing my residence.

No one even wanted to talk to me about my issue they just told me to email [email protected] and she'll get back to me. Yeah right.

Stay away from this company.

I sadly had to put a star for them.  Here is our story:

This company is a rip of as a contractor with American Home Shield. Let me go date by day. Sept 10th our A/C went out my wife called to report it since we were sold a BOGUS VIP contract to get faster assistance, we were told to call (ahs) to get the request in. Once the request was in we couldn't be seen until the following Tuesday  (wait we have the VIP)... it gets better folks. My wife and I called over 9/10 and 9/11 and kept saying we have an agreement and they refused to follow it, but then was told it would Monday...we still had to call and push our way through as VIP and was finally seen on Saturday to only find out the issue had to get a project manager due to a leak in the cool. I called to schedule my own appointment. They came out Tuesday (get this the cost 1400 dollars after ahs paid them) .... said it would be Friday before everything was fixed (that would mean 8 days with out air....by the way we have a 6 month old) my wife and I had to go out and purchase a and update our heating and air, because there was more wrong than originally thought.

RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

This company is complete garbage! My A/C started acting up and called this company to come fix it. The tech was clueless to what the issue was and had to repeatedly call someone else and take pictures and send to someone else. He ended up taking both my Heat Pump and Air Handler completely apart then stated that he didnt have the right tool to finish the job. He said that a master tech wtf that is, was going to come out later and the guy never showed or called. Then when I called the next day which was Saturday they said the Couldnt get anyone out until 3 more days.. meanwhile its 90 degrees and humid in Memphis and I have a 2.5 yo child at home. So guy comes destroys my Hvac then leaves and cant get back out until tuesday (4 days later). I will tell my home warranty to drop them.

Urel Lopes was dispatched to our house for a Saturday afternoon appointment. His day was a bit out of control (haven't we all had one or two of those) and he couldn't get to us until around 8:15. Yet he handled our main sewer clog in 45 minutes of un hurried professionalism. The charge was the minimum quoted when the appointment was made. Kudos to the company for communication that allowed us to keep a commitment to a neighbor and still be available for Mr. Lopes' arrival.

They only got one star from me because that's the lowest rating I could give. AVOID Greenway & American Home Shield home warranty! It's terrible. I had a bathtub leak in the upstairs of my new (30 yr old home) the night we moved in! AHS and Greenway took over 4 months to get the tub fixed, I ended up hiring my own painter to fix the ceiling and I'll fight with AHS to get my money back.

The biggest problem with AHS is that they try not to cover things when they break and you have to FIGHT with them to honor their warranty. Also their favorite saying is... That part has been discontinued or that's not covered under warranty.

AHS sent Greenway Home Solutions (terrible) to fix the tub but they couldn't get their act together either. It took me filing better business bureau complaints to get them to do the right thing which was fix something that should have been covered anyway according to their contract.

AHS wanted to offer me $300 to just go away basically with a leaky 2nd story tub, and a huge hole in my den ceiling under the tub that Greenway cut when AHS sent them out.

I advised I'm my BBB complaint that I wanted my old jacuzzi tub pump returned so that I could hire a different company because Greenway claimed the pump was discontinued and that there was no other pump that would work.

I finally tracked down the plumbing manager because no customer service managers would return my calls. He learned about my BBB complaint and shockingly found a universal pump to install that works just fine. After being told many times that it was impossible. The manager told me after the new pump was in that someone had thrown my old pump away because it was laying around so long (while I waited with no tub and a gaping hole in my den ceiling for 4+ months). He said when I demanded the old pump back they realize they were going to have to find a way to make it work. Duh. That's what they were hired to do in the beginning. AVOID!

I'll try to upload a few pics of their shoddy work.

Unfortunately, I did not read the reviews prior to scheduling their services. I was quoted 79.95 plus parts and labor to unclog the pipes. However, the technician (Josh) cleared half of the drainage pipe, but not the pipe leading to under the house. The technician never checked to see if the water properly drained prior to leaving the house. I was told by management that technician would come back out on Friday, but he didn't show. I was then told that someone would come out on Saturday, but received a call stating that the technician had a family emergency and they rescheduled for Sunday. Sunday I received a call from Kelsey indicating that the request order was put in as an error and that no one would be coming back out. After much discussion, she said that management and a technician would call on tomorrow - which is a holiday. This company is the ABSOLUTE WORST. Please don't use them. They took payment and did not fix the problem. I was told that the problem was fixed and it was not. $304.95 for nothing.

I have had the displeasure of dealing with these people on several occasions. The techs are incompetent. I don't even know how they are employed in the repair business. I had to repair things myself while waiting for them to order parts. I had to show one tech how to do something so simple even I knew how to do it. I mean, I have no repair experience but I've had much better luck doing things myself using YouTube videos, which I had to do, because everything they repaired broke again within ten days. And one thing never was finished because the part was on order for three months. Every time I called they said it was coming. It never did. I had to repair my microwave myself. I don't have the time, patience or money to pay them to fail again and again. American Home Shield and Greenway are a huge scam..

Very dissatisfied with this company. My homeowner insurance contacted Greenway Home Service to install a new hot water heater. The cost out of pocket was $879. This was suppose to include code inspection. 10 days later we had a gas leak from the heater. MLGW cut off our gas until it was fixed. Greenway did come out but did not fix the problem. The technician did not know what to do so he called his supervisor who was rude, yelling at the technician and then at me because he didn't know what to do.  The technician said he tighten it up like his supervisor said. I have yet to get a code inspection done on the heater. I will not be using them again  I had to pay out of pocket $600. to get my new heater fixed and to get gas back to my house.

Got the technician there same day thank goodness, but what they don't tell you is that the service fee is just for them to pull into your driveway... they will charge you labor even if when they leave your furnace isn't fixed because you won't spend an additional $250 to upgrade to their thermostat that they will then charge you additional to install.... Oh and after they come out and you had signed up for the VIP service will still charge you when you cancel because their company is a joke!!!  DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS COMPANY!!

Update, issue started in December, 2020 and is still not resolved. Someone who said he was the owner called me in May and apologized profusely saying this was not indicative of the level of service they provide. He promised to order a new faucet and have it installed ASAP. It is now July and I have not heard back from them-not one phone call. I called today and the receptionist said she would check to see if the faucet had been ordered and someone would call me back. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. My advice is to pay attention to the reviews and find a reputable company. 7 months later and my sink is still dripping. Unbelievable.

If I could give a negative number I would!!!! WORST COMPANY EVER...I have been without AC for a month now and still no repair date set yet. On top of that, they are price gouging me for unnecessary modifications not covered by my home warranty policy. Basically, they are charging me, the customer, extra fees to compensate for lost cost from the home warranty company but that's NOT my fault!!! If the warranty company doesn't pay, then they shouldn't be a vendor to them but instead they are abusing the customer because I am stuck with whoever the warranty calls for the service call!!! I will cancel my home warranty policy after this and I WILL NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND GREENWAY-in fact I will make sure NO ONE I know will ever use this horrible, selfish, money-hungry company!!!

These folks are not trustworthy.  You get different stories depending on who you talk to.  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I have First American Home Warranty.  AC out.  Greenway tried to up sell me to get a new unit.  I said NO - fix the compressor.

One week later they show up and install a faulty compressor and try to blame the home warranty - saying they only send rebuilt compressors.  He tried to sell me a 'better compressor'.

Home warranty says this is not true.  Greenway didn't get a compressor from the home warranty - Greenway sourced it locally (after 6 business days).  Home warranty company sends new compressors - opposite of what Greenway said.

I had to pay in advance for their shoddy work and have no AC.  This company is the pits.

Now I've paid them almost $300 for non-covered work (removing the old compressor & freon) and have nothing to show for it.

Please shut down.  This is not a reputable business.

Greenway's customer service is HORRIBLE!!  They send technicians to my house on a regular basis who know NOTHING and always have to come back with someone who can actually diagnose the problem.

Rather than one day off work, this practice costs me two days of lost time and money for a simple diagnosis. Then, I still have to wait on a part to come in and be installed, costing me a third day, approximately a week later.

EVERY TIME I am referred to Greenway by my home warranty company, I ask the Greenway scheduler to PLEASE not send an incompetent person to my home. I am ALWAYS assured that this will not happen again, then my request is ALWAYS ignored.  In fact, yesterday, I was lied to by the manager, Daryll, who assured me that I would be the technician's first appointment today, because Greenway already wasted a day of my time this week by sending out an incompetent technician. When, I called to inquire about the whereabouts of the technician, I was told by Sabrina, the call agent, that she could confirm that Daryll assured me of first appointment status, but that that request was never entered into the computer. So, again I am wasting a second day waiting on a diagnosis.

The website says that the owner and founder, Whit Greenway, showed up when he said he was going to, always did what he said he would, and never made promises he could not keep.  This could not possibly still be the standard for Greenway, as I have NEVER seen this philosophy in practice.

I would choose 0 but that is not an option.  My appt. was scheduled through American Home Shield.  Someone texted me about two weeks before and confirmed 8-12 appt. time.  A few days before the appt. I texted to ask if I could get a bit of an idea of whether I would be closer to 8 or 12 and I never heard back.  On day of appt. I called the company phone # around 9:15, I was told I was the first appt. of the day for the technician and I would hear from him shortly.  At 10:30, still waiting, I called and was told I was his first appt. but that they had a meeting, I don't know if anyone mentioned that and that I would hear from him shortly.  At  10:45 I got a text that the tech had one more person before me.  At 11:25 I got a call to confirm someone would be home, the tech was on his way.  At 12:00 no one had come.  I called AHS, the rep on the phone said oh, it looks like they changed the appt. time to 1-5. The !!!  Horrible customer service, I cancelled and will never use them.

American Home Shield gives me no other option but to have Greenway do our hot water heat repair.

Let's count the ways how Greenway totally sucks.

1. Tell you things need to be changed to meet code but they are wrong and make stuff up.
2. Untrained guys that come to your house but don't know what they are talking about.
3. Over charging you.
4. Rude on the phone.
5. Can't tell you any details behind and decisions.
6. Tell you to call AHS with any questions and they don't know either.
7. Ask people about Greenway, their reputation is really bad.

Whatever you do-avoid this company.   This is without any question the most dishonest and currupt business  organization I have ever encountered in my life.     Not only did they not fix the issue, they broke my shower .   My job started as a hot water issue that was isolated to my kitchen.   Prior to greenway stepping foot in my house, I was able to take a hot shower in my showers.  By the time they left, they had disabled my hot water and broke my shower.   They held up my household for almost 3 months to eventually say it was unrepairable and not covered by my home warranty.  They sent me down a wild goose chase for months.  They do not care one thing about fixing your home. RUN AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE FROM THIS CO unless you enjoy being tormented, robbed and extorted.

Worst service company for home warranties. American Homeshield uses them for all services, and I've called them for different things over the past 2 years of homeownership. Here's a list of reasons they got 1 star:

-If you're a single woman homeowner or a woman at home alone be prepared to feel uncomfortable in your home with some of their technicians, who get aggressive because they are 2 hours behind schedule and hate their job-- like the other 80% of blue collar America.

Be prepared to be charged for bull diuretics i.e. to come out multiple times because they have to order a part.; to answer a request for irrigation pipe and then say oh, we don't service irrigation.

I've had to call their office and request to speak with management 2 out of 3 times in which they have come out. This group is a waste of money. Google, Home Depot, and your non mechanic Dad will be better for the majority of your home needs.

Wish I could give no stars. This company is a joke. Technicians will lie and try to scam you into buying an ac from them.....who would actually ever choose Greenway anyway....only reason Greenway has business is bc of home warranty companies

Have to use Greenway because of American Home Shield (another company I'm about to drop like a bad habit) ...

Called Greenway about the clog, as they are the local contractor that AHS uses for almost everything. They came out ... left a mess ... *but*, they came on time and seemingly fixed the clog. Tech said he hit some roots and cleaned them out and all was well.

THREE DAYS LATER ... and unfortunately, over a weekend, the same problem pops up. Called Greenway again. They came out ... send the *same tech* ... and this same tech hits MORE ROOTS (meaning he didn't do a thorough job the first time), cleared out the clog and left. Problem solved for a second time.

ONE DAY AFTER THE SECOND VISIT ... same problem. Talked to the Customer Service Manager @ Greenway after hours and I genuinely get the feeling from her that they're gonna resolve this and make it right. I get a call from them @ 745AM the next morning (today) and she tells me that they're pretty much done with the problem. They won't warranty their work on this issue (her words, not mine). Then, I'm told the only solution is to let them come out and do $800-$1200 worth of work to install a clean out in our yard. Other than that, they're done. Nothing more they can do.

So ... no camera to determine the shoddiness of the previous work. No new tech to go behind the one that had to take two trips to *not* fix the problem. No new nothing. Just a way for them to come out and make a huge cash grab on the money they lost on less than optimal work.

I understand it's in their best interest to move on and cut bait. However, it's not my fault they choose to do business with a home warranty company.

That being said, if a clean out is what's ultimately needed, I can guarantee you that Greenway will not be doing it for me, as I was less than impressed with their plumbing work on what seems to be a very simple issue.

I will also be dropping AHS, as I am left with hours on the phone ... and $175 worth of work that fixed nothing. From here on out, I will choose my own plumber and break even. The American Home Shield peace of mind is a myth once you actually need them for anything.

So, I'm out $175 at this point to STILL have a main sewer line clog ... and Greenway's answer isn't a different tech ... or a camera ... or an apology ... it's a $800-$1200 service call or nothing.

I have a contract with American Home Shield, so when my refrigerator broke down, I gave them a call. They promptly took care of my problem and I was contacted by Greenway Home Services. After describing the issue I was having, they said they were swamped and it would be 2 weeks before they could come out and diagnose the problem. I wasn't happy to be without my refrigerator for 2 weeks, but I had kept my old refrigerator in the carport so while I would be inconvenienced, I could wait 2 weeks to have my 4 year old refrigerator fixed. When they came out, they said it was the compressor and that it would take at least a week to 10 days to order the part, and get it in. I really wasn't happy finding out that I would have to wait another week to ten days before it was repaired, but at this point, I didn't feel like I had much of a choice. Sure enough, after 10 days, they called and said the part was in. My relief that the part was finally in, quickly turned to anger when they told me they couldn't come out and replace the compressor for another 2 weeks. I was so angry, no I was livid with that news, and I couldn't believe what I was hearing, much less having to explain all this to my wife!!! As you know, it was my fault that it broke in the first place, because I'm the one that picked out the LG Refrigerator in the first place!!  My God, how could I have been so stupid!  After waiting another 2 weeks, they finally showed up with the replacement part. He put it on, said that it was good to go, but that it would take 24 to 48 hours before it would start really getting cold. I shook my head, telling him that I had never hearing anything like that before, but he was supposed to be the expert, right? He put the part on late Friday afternoon on the 5th of June, but when Sunday came, and the refrigerator was still warm inside, in fact it felt warmer than it did when this ordeal started. So on Monday morning June 8th  I promptly called Greenway Home Services and told the operator that it wasn't fixed. When she said that it would take 2 weeks before they could come out and take a look at it, I completely lost it. When I yelled saying that that was unacceptable and demanded to speak to her boss, she said that she would have her call me, and hung up. I was now really fired up! I went online, and looked up Reference USA, (a free resource through the Memphis Public Library) And quickly found out who the CEO of Greenway Home Services was, and his contact information, and I called him directly. He wasn't in, but after talking to his executive Secretary, and after explaining to her my entire ordeal, to hear her sticking to this same 2 week bull****, I hung up and called American Home Shield and explained to them everything I had been through and how angry I was. During this entire ordeal, I never blamed AHS. They did there part, using a company that I, at one time, considered reputable. The operator at AHS, listened to my entire story, and I could tell or sense she really understood my frustration and anger. She scolded me for not reaching out to them before now, and when she asked me if she could put me on a brief hold, I inwardly sighed and rolled my eyes and said no problem, expecting the worst.  While I was on hold, I received a text message from Sears home services, asking if they could come out Wednesday between 1-5 to fix my refrigerator. I couldn't comprehend what I was reading. While I was on a brief hold, this lady had called and set me up another service call that was only 2 days away. I was ecstatic to put it mildly. When she got back to me, and before she could even explain what she had done for me, I told her about the text. I literally felt like I had won the lottery or something. After that, so playfully scolded me for not getting back to them before now. To wrap this up, Sears came out as scheduled fixed my refrigerator on the spot, showing me where Greenway Services had screwed up. Moving forward, I would not use or hire Greenway Services to change my lightbulb. How they stay in business, I have no idea. Also, I am extremely happy with Sears Home Services, and American Home Shield. I'm even happier to finally have my refrigerator back, after 7 long weeks!!

Had this company come out to see what was wrong with my central air conditioning unit. They wanted to charge about $400 more to fix the problem and on top of that accused me of causing the problem. My unit is about 25 years old and this is the first issue I've had never had any problems with it until now. Also I had another company look at it and their diagnosis was different and charged what an honest company should charge. I suggest you shop around and compare prices I'm glad I did because these guys overcharge as well as blame you for the problem which isn't a good way of gaining customers.

Updating my review because Greenway contacted me, refunded my service fee, and sent out a new technician who actually fixed the problem. I appreciate this. I can't update from a 1 to a 5 star due to my initial bad experience but I think it's only fair that I give them atleast a 3 and let people know that they did rectify the problem.

The second tech and customer service person I dealt with were very nice. I think the customer service rep may have been a higher position but I don't remember what she said her title was. Anyways...thank you.

I have a home warranty. They choose which service provider that will come and fix the issue. Greenway called on Wednesday to set up the service call on Saturday. They figure out the issue, however they came unprepared to fix the problem. They called me today to reschedule for Tuesday between 12-5. I'm being punished for their incompetence. I've been a week without a dryer. When I tried to convey my unhappiness with the situation, the customer service lady was very rude. To the point that I had to speak over just to be heard. My recommendation, don't use Greenway.

We've used Greenway for the last 3 years and we pay an annual service fee to be a VIP customer. When the tech came out to do our tune-up he recommended we add start assists to help reduce the startup load on our older units. I felt this was an Up-sell but decided it was worth it ($450) if it helped keep them running a few more years. All was well until two weeks later the downstairs unit stopped working. A new tech was sent out and he said our unit needed freon added (4 lbs.) and again tried to up-sell us on special caps called freon locks that helps prevent freon from leaking out ($89, which I declined.) BTW, why didn't the first tech who did our tune-up not mention we needed freon? Anyway, the tech who was very nice told me the previous tech did not install our start assists correctly and that could have been why the unit stopped working. He didn't have the parts on his truck to fix it but he took pictures and said he would let his manager know. When I called today I was on hold for 15 minutes and then I was hung up on and had to call back and wait on hold a second time! Bottom line: If this is how a VIP customer is treated I would hate to be a regular one. I will be looking for a different company because this one is obviously poorly managed and they are more concerned with trying to extract every extra dollar from you they can rather than keeping you as a happy customer and could care less about your comfort.

I am very satisfied with the service repair person. He was so very nice and knew what he was doing. But, I am not happy with the customer service. My heating unit was taken to the shop on a Friday. I knew two bolts were broken. That's it. I called Monday and the receptionist told me it was in the shop. Ok. What was wrong? A part had to be ordered. Ok. I called Tuesday. It was still in the shop. I am cold. No phone call letting me know anything. I had to do the calling to find out anything. I believe I should have been notified of any parts that needed to be ordered and when it would be in. Common courtesy. I called Wednesday. I was told it would be taken care of today. It was. In today's world, tech is used to infirm the customer. This company needs to get with the program.

I would give zero stars if possible.  They were recently contracted by my home warranty company to my home.  I was misled by the man that came in to access the damage by what was needed to be performed before they could proceed.  He and the company basically took $200 from me for a service that was not performed.  When I called to complain they denied any wrong doing and would not refund my money.  I will never allow this company anywhere near my home for fear of more over charges. Beware of who you let in your home.

I have never left a review before nor have I read reviews before but this has been an experience to say the least. They need ZERO STARS! After reading the reviews on Yelp, now I understand why I keep having bad experiences with this same company time after time after time.  I even told the home warranty company American Home Shield upfront DO NOT send them to my house due to my prior experiences with them.  They said give it one more try.  Well, I got SUCKED again and did.  Our air has been out a week now and our appointment was scheduled for today between 2 and 5.  We waited all day and at 2 we received a call saying  that it would be closer to 5 due to having two ahead of us.  At 6:30, my husband contacted the company and they stated that the tech had already been out to our house and that we had a duct that fell under our house.  My husband proceed to tell them that we do not have a crawl space and we don't have ducts under our house.  Our house is brick and on a foundation.  They proceed to research and stated that the tech had put the information from a prior house in our case and closed out the ticket.  No one would be able to come to our house tonight and it would be tomorrow before anyone could get to us because everyone was at home.  Again, our hours would be between  2 and 5.  After a few choice words and me contacting them since this was their error and not ours they changed the time to earlier.  This was still unacceptable.  We have been without air for a week and again it is the hiring of incompetent people and their mistake.  If our ticket was closed out the other ticket should have been left open so the mistake should have been caught somewhere.  We received a call stating that a tech was in the area at 8:07 at another location and we would be next so our air would be repaired tonight.  We received another call at 8:15 again stating that they would be at our house tonight to fix our air and we were next on the list.  It is now 11:30 and we have not heard anything from the company or the tech.  No one has shown up at our house or even called to cancel again.  So, after repeated chances, they have failed again to produce a successful transaction.  I can only hope that when I talk to my home warranty company on Monday that the contract with this company ends soon and they can find someone that would at least have both experienced techs and better customer service.  After reading all the bad reviews on Greenway, if I was American Home Shield, I wouldn't want my name associated with a company that treated their customer this poorly.  I don't expect everything to be 100% all the time, but this was epic!  Lies all DAY and apparently a lot of other customers feel the same way and have had the some of the same experiences that I have had.

24 DAYS - that is how long it took to get our heat pump fixed. We called AHS on 11/21/17 to let them know that the heat pump was not working correctly in our downstairs unit. On 11/22, AHS sent Greenway out to repair our heat pump. Their tech, Ron, showed up at the house. He determined he needed to order a part to fix it. He said it should arrive that Friday & he would be back out then. On Friday, we didn't hear from him. We called Greenway's office after lunch. The woman who answered the phone was rude & didn't seem to know anything about our issue. She said Ron probably just ordered the part that day (on Friday not Wednesday), & it takes three days for it to arrive.

On the morning of 11/28, Ron called & told us he and his boss were ready to come out that morning. We were of course at work & told him that he needed to schedule this with us. So he scheduled it for the next morning, and I took off work. We were told that we would be the first appointment of the day, and they should arrive by 9 am. At 9:30, we received a call that they were on their way, and they arrived after 10 am. Ron was very unprofessional. He said to me, So you got the whole day off work. I told him, No, I was waiting for you to get here this morning so I can go to work after you are done. I can't afford to take the day off. I found it rude for him to assume that, especially after they showed up late. Well, after Ron and Steve worked on the unit, they thought they might have it fixed. Steve told me that there could still be an issue, & if it doesn't work that night, to let them know.

When my husband got home that evening, he turned the heat on, & it ran for about 20 minutes, & then it turned off completely (no numbers on thermostat, no control, no fan, no heating). He called Greenway the next day (11/30/17) and was told that since the AHS ticket was marked as completed that we would have to go through AHS again. We opened a second ticket. They scheduled Ron and his boss to come out that afternoon, & my husband took off work that afternoon. When he got home, he got a call from Ron. His boss couldn't make it out that afternoon & rescheduled for Saturday morning. Of course, my husband had already used leave that day.

On 12/2/17, they sent out a different tech, Andre. He looked at the unit & said that the outdoor unit wasn't going into defrost mode and a replacement board would be needed. When the part came in, Andre was scheduled to come out 12/5 in the evening. He never showed. We found out the next day, he ended up working until 10:30 pm on the call before us. He could have at least called us by 9 pm to tell us he wasn't going to show. So he was rescheduled for the evening of 12/6. He installed the board and noticed that the fan turned off by sticking his head in the door. He went and looked at the defrost board again and said it didn't throw an error so it must be fixed.

We woke up late that night and noticed that it was very cold downstairs. The set temperature was 64°F but the temp was showing 54°F. My husband moved the setpoint around some more and noticed that no heat of any sort was turning on (regular or emergency).

He called Greenway again the next day (12/7/17). He was told that the managers were going to talk about it and would call us back. We called again that afternoon because we had not heard from them. They told him that they had someone coming to the house to get some heat going. The man showed up that afternoon and just got the emergency heat working. That tech had the nerve to ask, Is that what you wanted after getting the emergency heat running. He also told us that the managers would be ordering a part and coming to install it.

I went into the Greenway's office on 12/8/17 and spoke with the customer service rep (Christy Wright). I told her everything that happened, and she said we would be a priority. She told me that the part was on order & would be in by Tuesday, 12/12.

Greenway called Friday afternoon (12/8) and wanted to send a tech out on 12/9/17 to look at one last thing. When he came out, he said that what he was looking at pretty much confirmed that it was the reversing valve and that it was on order.

We did not hear from Greenway so we called again on 12/13. The lady that answered said that the work order showed that the part was ordered today (12/13/17) and would take 3-5 business days to be delivered. My husband explained to her that we were told this was already ordered. She said the parts manager shows it being ordered today.  He then asked to speak to the parts manager. The lady said he was out to lunch. So he asked for his voicemail. She said that was against company policy and that all that could be done was her to email the parts manager to call us back. We didn't hear back from anyone that day. I had to get our realtor involved to get something done. She called her AHS sales rep who stepped in. We got a call the next day that the part was in

Let me establish that any issues we've had with repeat service calls with ANY contractor have been due to American Home Shield and their terrible policies.
The good news about this relationship is that customers can book through Greenway, and they will fie the claim for you.  This means, if your air goes out in August, you can call them right away and have someone out the next day, as opposed to waiting 48 hours for AHS to even call back with an appointment time.

Working solo with Greenway has always been a breeze.  They deal with HVAC, plumbing, and light electrical, which are all... let's face it... expensive  services.  After coming out to repair our AC units repeatedly, we opted to just replace them both with nicer units that don't use the outdated coolant.  This cost $17,000 but will cover us for many years, and came with zero percent interest for four years, and some very polite sales and service people installing everything.  The new units are slightly more efficient, but definitely ACTUALLY make the house 71 degrees, if I enter 71 on the thermostat.

This is a locally owned company, with an emphasis on service.  If they dont' get it right for you, let the owners know.  They will fix it!

Blame AHS, not Greenway.

Greenway techs and their receptionists are incompetent. Particularly for plumbing issues DO NOT CALL GREENWAY! We had a water pipe leak which flooded the front yard. After 2 wks, they finally came out. The 1st day no one brought equipment. The 2nd day and after showing late, the guy dug a giant hole in the yard, fixed it, then proceeded to stay until 11:00pm literally hanging out at his truck, with his friend, whom he earlier in the night went to pick up (during a fake Lowe's run) and yappin on the phone, prob to his dope dealer. At 10:40p I said leave., for which he didn't until 30 min later. I told him he could return in morning to cover hole. He, of course, had someone call to say he wouldn't return till Tues. The hole is still there.

I have dealt with Greenway in the past and they were nice and fixed my issues. These new people working there just don't care. Please call someone else to service your plumbing. I can find someone on the street to do the work better and faster than this company. The customer service is the worst.

My home warranty company chose to use Greenway to fix my dishwasher. That was a huge mistake. Not only are they not able to do their job, they are unable to do it in a timely manner. Five months later my dishwasher is still broken and Greenway is in no hurry to fix it. The customer service is the absolute worst. I have been lied to by multiple people about products being ordered that haven't been ordered. I just want my dishwasher fixed or replaced but that clearly is not going to happen. If you have any choice in the matter, DO NOT use Greenway Home Services for anything.

We were referred to this company through our home warranty company. I'll share with you each step of the way how they failed as a company to take care of my business. This was for a broken hot water heater leaking into my attic; which is a big issue- especially for a young family with an infant.

*Day 1 No Shower, No Laundry, No Dishes Washed, Water leaking into my attic*

1. The home warranty company sent them my information on a Monday evening. I had not heard from them by lunch time on Tuesday so I emailed the contact person given to me by the home warranty  company. Someone else from the company emailed me, letting me know that they didn't have a good contact number for the customer. She didn't realize that I was the customer she was emailing. So I called her and finally got my problem on they're schedule. Turns out they misread the area code (which is relatively understand as I have an out of town area code). I scheduled my appointment to be seen by someone from their company the next day between 8am-12pm.

2. The guy from Greenway called me and showed up at my home around 11am (he is the only one from Greenway who ever successfully called me during this experience). He did a very quick inspection and determined the problem, gave me a written estimate, and collected the service fee as per the home warranty company. He told me I would know later that day what the next step would be once they talked to the home warranty company. He (Josh) was the bright spot of my Greenway experience. Very great guy.

I called them back later in the day when I hadn't heard back and they told me that they had to hear back from the home warranty company. So I proceed to call the home warranty company, who let me know, promptly, that they hadn't received the proper report from Greenway. By the time I got to someone with the home warranty company to straighten everything out with Greenway, everyone from Greenway had gone home for the day, almost an hour before their posted closing time.

*Day 2 No Shower, No Laundry, No Dishes Washed, water leaking into my attic*

3. Spend all day Wednesday waiting to hear from both the home warranty company and Greenway. Greenway kept insisting they hadn't received the right paperwork from the Home Warranty company. I know this wasn't true because every time I called the home warranty company they had all of that information readily available for me. They even emailed it to me.

*Day 3 No Shower, No Laundry, No Dishes Washed, water leaking into my attic*

4. I forwarded this email to to the company on Thursday morning and they still weren't convinced. They only begrudgingly put me on the schedule for Monday, which would have put me at a week from my first contact with them to the time when they would be available to even put me on the schedule to fix it. They are still claiming they never heard from the home warranty company, even though I had confirmed with them many times that they have contacted Greenway.

At this point, we took matters into our own hands, paid out of pocket for another area contractor, who came out to our house within 30 minutes, gave us a free estimate, and fixed it in 3 hours. Still working out the ins and outs of our insurance company, but I don't even care. The other contractor wanted our business, cared about the problem I was having, and fixed it.

When we called Greenway to tell them all of this, they blamed the red tape of First American home warranty company. But if your remember from the beginning of this review, and I'll state it again, no one from Greenway has ever called me. I have had to be the proactive one all the way through. I don't dispute there was some red tape, but these folks never communicated on their own, never answered emails properly, and never seemed to care about my problem. They were willing to let me have no shower, no laundry, no dishes washed, and water leaking into my attic.

All of this could have been solved if one person at Greenway would have communicated properly with me. But that didn't happen. Our requests to speak with someone higher up the ladder were denied. They would have let me drown in red tape before they took one proactive step to help me, their customer, out.

Overall, I would let those Russian cable contractors from Seinfeld help me before I'd let Greenway do anything else for me. Stay away.

These guys are incompetent.  I waited for three weeks for a simple faucet repair.  They rescheduled my appointment and then, the day of, called me an hour before they were supposed to show up to tell me they had the wrong part.

We got green wave at our home thru home shield to fix our refrigerator and dryer, both haven't been fixed since December. The technician says he can fix the appliance, but I don't agree as he has been in my house six times to fix the same problem and hasn't been able to fix it.  First Mervin said we will change the compressor for fridge but it didn't work, next he changed the board, but the fridge didn't cool yet. American will change only if technician says he can't fix it, but technician says each time he can fix the appliance yet being six times at my home he couldn't fix my fridge and dryer, but give run around. Just be frank you cannot fix it, then my American home sheild will replace the appliances, so frustrated during virus our main fridre and dryer not working. Never use green wave. wish i could give zero reveiew.

Very professional and intelligent problem solvers.  Waited few days for an appointment but another agency wanted me to replace my entire fridge panel 432.00 when it was just a loose wire. Also had dishwasher checked out from a drain leak connected to it. This company did a full inspection.  Very satisfied. Will definitely use and recommend anytime

It's been 88-90 degrees in my house for a week now because my air conditioning is out. I had been waiting for them to come to my house yesterday from 8-12 and they showed up close to 3. So after 8 hours of not leaving and patiently waiting, someone finally arrived to tell me that they couldn't fix my issue. They scheduled someone to come back today to fix it from 4-6. (It's another 90 degree day in Memphis). So far, only one person came to my house from Greenway and his job wasn't to fix my problem, it was to try and sell me a brand new AC unit. It's now 8pm and two hours past my appointment window. I tried calling earlier to find out where I am in the queue. I haven't heard from anyone today other than the person who wanted me to spend more money. Can I leave my house to go get dinner? Can I go to the gym? I have no idea because no one has contacted me. Have they rescheduled my appointment? Do they care that I have a job and can't sit around and wait for them? Does it matter that I'm now going on my 8th day of 90 degree weather with no fix?

Dalthan came to repair my 20+ year old clothes washing machine. Awesome service; efficient and tidy   He was super with communication and repaired machine  in under 30 minutes. He called 30 minutes prior to arrival and was  on time. I've always had excellent service from HVAC to plumbing and know appliance. They worked with my home warranty and all I had to do was open the door. Highly recommend

I am shaking so bad right now at the horrible service the so called family focused company has offered and all I can talk to is soft speaking less than interested csr. I have been unable to sleep in my home because they installed a defective Trane unit that they just service failed I am now  5 days no sleep I miss the call by 20 minutes and they are pushing me to the next day.  The kicker is I knew the were horrible but when the were after my money they could not be nicer now that they have it kick rocks, I have not begun to fight!

I used to have Greenway's VIP service, which meant that they would come out once in the spring to check my A/C, and then once in the fall to check my furnace.

The last time they came out, the technician that they sent was Blake and he said that my duct work needed to be replaced.  I asked him for an estimate, and he said that I'd have to set up an appointment for an actual estimate, but he said his guess would be around $1,000.00.

I called Greenway and asked for someone to come by and give me an estimate, and they sent someone a few days later.  I couldn't get off work, so my wife stayed home.  When they showed up, it was Blake, the same guy that was at my house not too long ago and told me that I'd have to make an appointment.

By the time I got home, he had left, but he told my wife that it was going to be at least $2,800.00.  I went to the attic and noticed that he had torn and removed all of the insulation away from a section of ductwork and left it all over the floor of my attic.

I called Blake's cell phone and asked why his estimate jumped up so much.  After I reminded him that he had been at my house earlier, his excuse was that the cost of materials had gone up.  He then said his manager would call me with the actual price in a few days.

After waiting several days and not receiving a phone call, I called Greenway and was told that Blake had not been in because he was on vacation and that I'd have to wait a few MORE days until he returned for my estimate.

I called another HVAC company for a comparison cost.  They came out and said that my ductwork was fine and that there was a very small repair that needed to be made, but I could do it myself by getting the parts from Lowes!

Not too long after that, I received a call from Blake telling me that he could still replace my ductwork and that he and his friends could do it one day when he was not working at Greenway, but I said no thank you.

A day after that, I received an email from Blake's personal email saying that he could drop the price to $2,100.00, but he'd have to cut some major corners and that the ball was in my court.

The entire time Blake's manager was completely out of the loop to all of this.  I immediately canceled my VIP membership with Greenway and now have another company maintaining my HVAC.

This is the most incompetent company I have ever dealt with! Top to bottom! I have been waiting since Sept 19 to get my stove repaired, this company has sent out 3 techs to tell me that it couldn't be repaired! My warranty company sent me a replacement stove which was dropped off to my house by a transport company in October, which has been in sitting in the middle of my kitchen floor wrapped in plastic waiting on someone from Greenway with enough common sense to install it! 3 more techs have been to my house to install it and all 3 didn't bring the Culper that's needed  for the stove to be hooked up to the gas pipe! One tech said he would run over to Lowes and get one and be right back but guess what happned? HAVE NOT SEEN HIM YET!! THAT WAS LAST WEEK!! A child could hook a Culper to a gas pipe! Stove still sitting in middle of floor and no response from Greenway other than excuses of why they can't show up today or tomorrow! Turning into a circus dealing with this clown college of a company!

We just had Greenway come out to service both of our central air conditioners via American Home Shield on 6/26/15. They have been out many times to our house for various reasons over the 15 years we owned our home and my husband and I couldn't be happier with this company. Blake came out yesterday but we have had many different staff at our house. They arrive on time, are very professional and friendly. Blake did a fantastic job and like others at Greenway went over and beyond the required service. We love Greenway and they are our preferred provider. I always ask AHS to assign them when we experience a home service issue. Thank you, Greenway!  All of you are great.

I'm done using greenway...they tell you to call in the AM and calls go straight to VM and not returned. You ask if a part is in town or special order, they tell you we will call you by end of day which prevents you from checking with other companies.... They take the part out of your system to bring to the ware house so you can't call another company. Good luck trying to get them to bring it back...

Rude call center, no one returns messages and they certainly do not live up to Whit Greenways promise of showed up when he said he was going to,  always did what he said he would and he never made promises he could not keep..

Inept technician! HORRIBLE customer service!
We have had a technician out 4 times to repair a dishwasher. On the fourth visit, he diagnosed a new problem without running a cycle, using any type of meter, or pulling out the dishwasher. He said, I think this will fix it. The part will take 3-5 business days to come in, at which time they  will call to make an appointment. The technician also stated that we should have requested a senior technician sooner.
Scheduling is a nightmare. The scheduler refuses to assign a new technician to the account, although we have requested someone new each time. After new parts arrive, the first available appointment is typically 3-5 days later.
The dishwasher repair has been ongoing for one full month with no resolution.
The technician refused to give me the name of the appliance manager to contact. He told me that I would have to call Greenway to get that information.

Worse experience from this company. My washer still isnt fixed after two weeks. The technician didn't confirm with me over the phone, that the washer was fixed by spinning a load of clothes. According to my babysitter he just replaced the part. Well after I washed a load last night the same problem is there. Now I still have wet clothes that won't spin. Calling customer service wasn't very friendly by some of the workers. So now I have to wait again in order for them to fix it. Go find another company if you're looking.

For some reason my home warranty company uses Greenway for repair and maintenance issues. I would rate their quality of work from poor to mediocre with mediocre being generous. We recently had one of their HVAC Techs to our home regarding an issue with a compressor they installed. I can honestly say I have never before experienced the unprofessionalism, rudeness and incompetence that this individual displayed. I contacted Greenway asking to speak to a manager. I was told that a customer service rep would get back to me by days end. Two days later nothing. I again contacted Greenway regarding this issue and was told that someone would contact me the next day. Two days later, nothing. I prefer to deal directly with a company regarding issues and complaints but it is apparent that Greenway simply doesn't care. By reading reviews posted by others I see that I am not alone in this assessment of Greenway.

Is it possible to give a company NO stars?  American Home Shield sent Greenway out to unstop a clogged drain in my kitchen.  The plumber was unable to repair it and Greenway scheduled for his manager to come 4 days later, a pretty long time without a kitchen sink.  On that 4th day, I was informed that it wasn't that day, but an entire week later that it was scheduled for.  Trying to talk to someone at Greenway was impossible, waiting on hold, leaving messages that were not returned, making excuses that the equipment was broken and the phone and computers not working well.  I got off the phone with them, immediately called RotoRooter - they were at my house 90 minutes later, fixed the clogged drain that the Greenway tech could not fix, and guaranteed the work for 6 months.  I will now cancel my AHS contract as it is worthless and will not let anyone from Greenway in my house ever again.

I will give them a Zero or negative rating - One of the worst service company with irresponsible staff and technicians I have ever come across , this company is contracted by AHS ( American Home Shield ) and they are unprofessional to the core. Greenway staff is rude and lie about the work performed to AHS. I had asked for a repair of my cooktop and the repair was scheduled 9 working days from the date of request to AHS.   On the scheduled date an Unqualified technician shows up and inspects the appliance for less that 5 minutes and says he needs to order parts and leaves a service note behind (By this time 3 weeks have passed ). After two more weeks  I get one call saying the parts have been ordered and a second call that a technician will come to repair the stove with the part. When the scheduled Technician showed up he said the previous guy has left the company and he has to start over again by ordering the parts. WHY did Greenway lie to me saying the parts have been ordered ?  When I complained this to AHS , Greenway said that they done most of the work and more parts are needed hence the delay - AGAIN an open Lie. It took 6 weeks to do a small job.

Please DO NOT use GREENWAY - this is my second experience - They have unqualified team, who will  try and sell you other unwanted stuff - I have never seen them complete a job in one appointment.

Sad to hear all the bad reviews.  I have had AHS for  13 yrs now and without issues.  They have sent Greenway many times for various issues. All employees were nice helpful willing to educate customer.   Good company to deal with both

I bought a house with an old Kenmore dishwasher which ignored the top rack. Greenway replaced the pump under First American warranty. These guys are always overpriced! They always quote 1000s of dollars for work that will not take nearly that amount to do. I have AHS and I can say I have had a great relationship with them over the years but the partnership with greenway has to be the worst EVER. I have no problem with any of the other venders that have come in and out throughout the years but this company always wants to charge me 100s if not 1000s outside of my protection with AHS. DO NOT trust these guys. When they send them I usually just go for the buyout and research better companies to do the work for less.

Scam artists. Home warranty company uses them. Convinced me to sign up for VIP.  On inspection, told me I needed new home AC unit. Home warranty company required second service call, so different tech came out 1 week later. Nothing wrong with unit. Someone is lying.  Milking me for every penny they can bleed out of me. Don't trust them. One ac repair last year, they installed faulty part. They admitted part was bad. Took them several days to come out. Resulted in leaking in my attic, stains on my kitchen ceiling.  Although they admitted bad part installed, stated it was not there problem. I would need to deal with manufacturer. They do not back up their work. Use at your own risk.

Scheduled an appointment yesterday for AC service today. They said they'd be at my house between 12-5 today, which is worse than Comcast. Around 3pm they called me and said it will be closer to 5. By 5:30 they had not shown up. I called them and they said my tech was on a call and there was still one ahead of me. She said she would try to move me up and call me back. As of 6:30 no call back. I called again and the man I spoke with did apologize but said they couldn't get to our house until 2 days from now between 12-5. Really?!!! Very disappointed and very poor communication and scheduling.

Through AHS I have used them twice.  First time was for my washing machine.  Took SIX WEEKS to get a new washing machine.  Second time was for my air conditioning.  Took FOUR WEEKS to get it fixed.  Every time I called it would take 3-4 days before anybody could even come out and it wasn't fixed so they'd have to come out again.  Took 5 trips to get the AC fixed.  If they have that much business, they need to hire more people!  Since it's been fixed, I'm now having to deal with the Shelby County code inspectors to get everything approved without any notification from Greenway.  Not very organized at all!

I will admit when reading the reviews about Greenway  and AHS, I was very nervous.  Both of my Units went out and I called AHS about 3:45 A.M. and they assigned Greenway.  Greenway called me about 9 A.M. and told me the AC guy would be out between 12-5 that day.  About  2:30, I received a call from the technician stating he was on his way to my house and he arrived about 15 minutes later.  The Technician (Jerry) arrived and within 20 minutes, my upstairs AC was working.  He immediately started on the downstairs AC(bigger unit) and identified that problem.  He had both my Units up and working within 1 hr/30 minutes.  I must say the service I received from both AHS and Greenway was Outstanding and the days stress was immediately gone.

If your home warranty company assigns Greenway, immediately tell them NO THANKS!  Horrible experience!  We had a service call scheduled between the hours of 12-5pm.  Around 2:30 the dispatcher calls and says the technician is running behind schedule and he may go over the scheduled window.  Well although that was a little frustrating I understood it's summer and a very busy time.  Sure no problem.  It's now 7:15 and no one has shown nor has anyone called.  I called the dispatch for an ETA as well as to tell her the have ruined my entire day.  She them states we are the very next stop and it shouldn't be long.  Technician calls around 8:15(!) and states he's 10 mins away.  At 8:57 he's still no where to be found.  We call him and he states he's on the way.  Needless to say he got a few choice words at that point....Greenway lacks the proper customer service it takes to be a reputable and respected company.  Stay far far away!  If I could give them zero stars I would but unfortunately in order for my review to post I had to give them one star.  An unbelievably horrific experience!!!!

Greenway Home Services is absolutely horrible from a customer service in dealing with talking with the customer services reps.  First, they are very articulate, and from that standpoint everything else is a bad customer experience.  They are very, very cocky and appears to all have attitudes.  The technicians are great, the ladies that you speak with regarding your complaint ALL are horrible.  It's not one or two, that's why it has to be a training issue and the company is not following up with training.  they have good ratings in performance but talking with the customer service reps again is like going into a bad business and the counter help have attitudes.  Even when yo speak with Kim the supervisor she becomes sassy and I don't plan on doing business with anyone like that.  From now, upon calling in a service request, I have advised my warranty company DONOT route it to Greenway.

I will never use this company again or refer them to anyone. We didn't receive a call back when the first work order was put in. The second go round was successful in getting someone to come out. Horrible!

This company doesn't even deserve a star!

I only used this company cause American Home Shield gave me them for the home warranty.

Let me start out by saying that the only thing I needed done was a simple fan motor replacement.  I could of done this myself, but since I was paying for the home warranty, I decided to use it.

Greenway Home Services, would constantly reschedule me cause of rain when it wasn't even raining.  Then they would reschedule me 3 day's later at their 3-5 appointment time.  I've already been without AC for 9 days, at least give me a earlier appointment time.

Today a technician came to my house at 5:10 to install the fan motor.   He told me since the weather doesn't look good that he might not be able to install the motor.  I jokingly told him that I would stand over him with a umbrella.  He proceeded to install the fan, and only took 10 minutes.  I told him how much I really appreciated it since I felt like his company put me on the back burner since it was a small job.  A hour later Greenway Services called me apologizing that they couldn't install the motor due to the rain and rescheduled me for 3 days later at 3-5 again.

I know my job might have been a small job, but I've been without AC for 9 days!

I am totally dissatisfied and disgusted with the services of Greenway Home Services. I also purchased the VIP package. The young man came out to service my AC unit, I was unable to go out and observe him directly but I watched from the 3 windows. Within 10 minutes, he reported he was finished. I asked if they no longer use the water hose to dislodge the debris because I never saw him do it and neither did I hear the outside faucet running. He responded rather rudely and left. A couple of months later, I had the unit checked and it was verified that the debris had not been removed. I called to complain but never received a call back as promised.

I am forced to use Greenway because I have an American Home Shield Home Warranty. My whirlpool dryer broke and they determined that the motor needed to be replaced. Well... the part was on back order for a MONTH... really.... this is no Mercedes its a whirlpool. There was zero communication. i had to constantly call them. I have 4 children and to say the least not having a dryer has not been fun. Greenway could care less. I finally had to call and beg for them to find the part from another source, which they finally did. David from Greenway comes to fix my dryer and realizes that another part has to be ordered???!!!! I am beyond frustrated. I would not recommend using Greenway services for anything. If you need extra help they do not care and do not bother going out of their way to help with anything. I will be switching home warranties when I am up for renewal and will hopefully not have to deal with Greenway home services ever again!!!!!!

Would you pay a company $119.95 to come to your home, just look in the tap out and say your main line needs to be dug up? David Toles from Greenway came and looked in it and said, I can't fix this. Then he gave me an estimate for running a camera in it. The estimate was for $250. Why would you run a camera in to see the problem after you just told me you knew the problem by looking in the drain? Be very wary of this company. This drain tech did not even try to unclog my line and so when Choate's Plumbing came over, the guy, Zach ran an auger and unclogged it. Case closed ... don't use Greenway.

TOO funny that every complaint that has been posted about Greenway is TRUE. My air has been out for over a week. They send these techs out he's in my home for hours and says he has me squared away. I say so you got me running he says no I have to order a part. With Greenway they always have to order a part (Compressor). on a brand new unit that was installed 2 years ago. Yes I have American Home shield but Greenway should say to American Home shield that when I pull up at a customer's home my truck and logo says Greenway and not American Home shield this is Greenways reputation on the line. Bad technicians as well as service. I never want them to come repair anything in my home again. Its crazy when I mention Greenway most of my co-workers cringe and say NOOOO!

First off we had a 12 to 5 pm service window, and the tech didnt show up until 6:45pm with absolutely no notice of being late or apology for being late. The tech stated that our unit was low 2 pounds of feon , I then questioned if he was going to check for leaks. I was told by him that I had no leaks , I have spoken to other AC companies sense then and was told a AC unit is a closed system and if you are low then there has to be a leak because the freon has escaped. I dont know if going through American Home Shield has a difference how they treat customers but not being truthful should never be a option.

It's all a big scam.  My heater went out and I called American Home Shield (first call in 6 yrs of paying it).  They called mid morning the next day and set up a tech the next morning (36hrs after the heater went out).  A few friends said that AHS and Greenway will try to state that something is not code or improperly installed and try not to cover it or part of it.
Tech finally diagnosed that I had 5 out of 6 cracked heat exchangers and needed a new heater.  A few hours later a tech came out to measure and told me it would cost me $850 out of pocket because the vent went up through the chimney and that was not code so it would have to be re-vented out the side of the house with a blower attached and AHS would only cover $250 or that.  I called Memphis Code enforcement the next day and sent him photos of my chimney which had the 4 b-vent running up through the middle of one of the terra cotta lined sides of the chimney.  He told me that as long as another appliance was tied into it to cause and updraft that it was fine.  I called the adjuster and informed him and gave him the County reps name to clarify if needed.  He then told me ok it would only cost me $450 then to adapt the new furnace into the 6 existing vent.
Furnace was finally installed Tuesday (a week after I called) but it did not work. So then I had to go back in the cue to wait for another tech to come out and figure it out.  Turns out the cannon plug of wires was not fully plugged in, six hours later and a whole day away from work I have a heater.
The techs had to put 3 sections of 4 to 6 reducers on, which took about 10mins and that was what they charged me $450 for.
See I don't think they make that much money off of a home warrantee contract so anything they can jack a customer for (ie, something not code or not installed properly) is what  they get extra revenue from.
Also I think if I was a manager of a company that just installed a 5 ton furnace that did not work I think the very next service tech would be enroute to that location.

I'm dropping the AHS contract and will find another HVAC service.

Over the past seven years we have had the 'pleasure' of Greenway services. Ninety percent of those visits centered around the air conditioning failing in one form or another every second to third week in May. Each visit included multiple trips ,service fees, no problem found, tighten this ,hug that, convert your a/c questions and of course the service fee. This all happens under the American Home Shield warranty.

Now. We called for a water heater replacement. I understand calls about dishwashers ,refrigerators , stoves needing diagnosis. I am sure 99.99% of water heater calls end up 100% needing a new water heater. We of course get the four hour window and have your service fee ready script. One and half hours into that window we call to learn we are on the list. Well. Almost five hours , four hours and forty-five minutes to be exact he shows up. Now by this time I am well into the 'screw this ' mode. I was literally walking out into my garage to leave when the doorbell rang. I open the garage and like flatulence after a bean pie there he is. No phone call at all, just shows up. He walks in checks the water heater , takes a photo goes to his truck writes the estimate and collects his fee and is gone in four minutes. 'We will set something up tomorrow or the next day ' he says. And ,poof, gone like a fart in the wind.

This year alone I have heard stories of water heater replacements from coworkers and family. EVERYONE ONE of them that had a water leak that morning got a new water heater that day. Same day. Same day ????!!Not two or three days. Not more time off. Not more time waiting. The. Same. Day. Now granted they went straight to Lowes or the like, got the water heater and had it installed straight away. How can a company who's business is repair not do the same thing. The quality of service and communication are beyond the pail. I feel like I would have better spent my time spraying isopropyl alcohol into my eyes. Oh well. A sucker is born everyday. My family will move beyond this and onto a new company that respects my time like I respect theirs.

This is the worst company ever.  I will never use their services again.  I had a gas leak 3 weeks ago and still do not have gas. Three times I was told I had an appointment scheduled with the code office for inspection to get my gas turned back on.  I was lied to.  There was never an appointment.  I finally actually got the appointment and the inspector didn't pass it because he said it's still leaking.  Greenway came back out the day after to fix it and was supposed to have another inspection today.  I was lied to again.  There's no appointment scheduled.  Fortunately it's not winter time.  My stove and hot water heater is gas so I have not been able to cook or shower at my own house for 3 weeks now.  They  really get 0 stars!

We are SUPER UNHAPPY with Greenway Home Services, since if they come tomorrow as scheduled, it will be the 4th visit for the SAME problem in less than a month.

Greenway Home Services services and repairs air conditioners.  The first time the tech came out, he stated that leakage from the pan underneath the A/C unit inside the house was overflowing as the reason water was coming through our ceiling. He recommended our buying a $75 device that would automatically stop the A/C if the water overflowed again.  Suffice to say, I have checked that pan periodically for weeks and it has been bone dry this entire time.

The second time we got leakage this month, the same tech was sent out ( though I requested someone else) and he claimed that the leaking was not coming from the AC but that the roof was leaking and that rain was causing the leak. He also said that he would call us to confirm that a plumber was coming out.  That day, the ceiling started leaking, even though it wasn't raining.  We turned off the A/C and the leaking stopped. Oh, and we never got any confirmation that a plumber was coming.

I called Greenway again and AGAIN asked for SOMEONE ELSE to come out.  The same guy got sent out again but with his supervisor.  Guess what?  It still isn't fixed.  The problem, they said, is supposedly a drain pipe is backed up.  Right, if that's the case, why wasn't this pipe evaluated in the first place?  It's sitting right next to where the water spilled through our ceiling.  They said they ordered a plumber to come out from their company and I would receive a call.  No one called all afternoon and finally at 5:40 pm when I called into their customer service, there was no plumber appt. set up.

We're done with Greenway.   The only reason we have had to go back to them is that our stupid home warranty keeps making us go back to the same company if it arises out of the same issue.  In a word, INCOMPETENT.

I have had 2 encounters with Greenway and neither were by choice. My stove had a gas leak on the knob and my landlord sent them out to fix it. First encounter says saturday between 12 and 5. after sitting around for 3 hours waiting the dispatch calls to tell me he will be closer to 5. 545 rolls around and still no call from anyone so I decide to call the company and express my grief, the woman calls the technician and then tells me he has 30 min left on his current job which is 30 minutes away, and then I'm next. we reschedule for the next day which he comes out and sits on his phone for a few minutes after saying we have to order that part it will take a week. 2 weeks later another saturday 12 to 5, I call beforehand to see where i am in line and once again I'm last, go figure. the techincian called at 5 to say he was on his way and arrived nearly an hour later. I wouldn't recommend this company, scheduling cannot be that difficult that you are unable to meet a 5 hour window, twice.

One star is to good for them.
American Homeshield home warranty company sent Greenway Home Services to repair my cooktop, they give you a five hour window for the tech to show up, right I want to sit around 5 hours waiting on a tech to show. The first appointment he showed up three hours into the five hour window, not bad I guess, he said he had to order parts for our cooktop. One week later I get a call from the appointment person and was told they had the parts and the tech would come out the next day between noon and 5pm, the tech finally shows up at 6:30pm spends an hour and a half working on the cooktop only to say he has the wrong parts and will have to re-order the parts, this was the same tech that ordered the parts. The following week I get a call from the scheduler and say they will be out on Friday am between 8am and noon. The main thing I forgot to mention is this is Thanksgiving week!! This repair was started on November seventh the next appointment is scheduled for November twenty fifth, YAY a day after Thanksgiving, so no cooktop to prepair Thanksgiving dinner!! Had to go out and buy a couple of hot plates to try to cook for Thanksgiving. Repair is still not completed!!
Do not use Greenway, they could care less that they hire incompetent techs and you have to suffer for it!!

Terrible Company.  We've been without air since mid August.  Lucky us, apparently we have American Home Shield, too.

I guess Greenway gets more money if they come out and don't do anything in regards to fixing our problem.

They've been out four times since Mid-August.

The first guy did nothing, and insisted our system was working, despite it being 79 degrees in the house at 9am, when the thermostat is set on 68.  He charged us $75, then left.

Second guy replaced something, said it would work. After he left, we waited. By 10pm, it was still 83 in the house.

Third guy came, unplugged the AC unit upstairs, and said Oh, there's nothing I can do, we'll have to reschedule.

Fourth guy came, said he repositioned something, and that my problem was solved, and he'd call me back later to check on our AC's progress. It's 11:45pm and 83 degrees in the house.

Apparently 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed  is missing a few letters, and should be read as: 100% Dissatisfaction Guaranted.

I will update if and when our AC ever gets fixed. I may die from heatstroke by then, though.

This company is absolutely the worst company I have ever had to work with.  My A/C unit was not working and they were contacted by AHS to come out and look at it.  After taking off work I had a service take look, who was actually very nice.  Told me a project manager would contact me to go over everything before proceeding with the price but they would let AHS know so I would be able to get an estimate of repairs.  After a week of going back and forth, having them lie to AHS saying they sent the diagnostic report, finally reached out to me saying a project manager had to go out and look at it to be able to send the diagnostic report.  That would require me taking off work again in order for him to come out.  Why they did not send the project manager out in the first place, they could not give me an answer.  I would never recommend using this company and will not be renewing my contract with AHS simply for who they contract with.  There is absolutely no urgency or sense of customer service in the entire office.

Ive used Greenway Home Services for more than 20 years.  I have found serviceman, Darrell to be amazing.  He had correctly diagnosed my problems every time. If necessary, parts have been ordered.  The office has kept me informed as to the progress.  Appointment have been scheduled and the serviceman has always worked within that timeframe.  Work completed.  Worksite cleaned.  I've always been pleased.

Well, where to start? We had Greenway come out 41/2 yrs ago to replace a water heater that had gone out on a very cold day in winter and they did the work same day and we were very happy, albeit out quite a bit of $. Well, last week, 5 days before Christmas, the gas control valve went out on said water heater. Called Greenway to come out, part was still under warranty, would take two days to order, according to the  tech who was in my home maybe less than five mins.Waited those two days, the Friday before Christmas Eve and the dispatcher says she doesn't know where our part is and when it will get put on. We are facing the prospect of Christmas with no hot water. Can't do hot laundry, wash ourselves,or our dishes. It was getting bad. Loaded up in the car with two kids and the dog and drove to my parents home 40 mins away just to get a shower.Monday came, same story. Fred, the plumbing manager said it would be several more days.We are now on day 8 with no hot water and my kids are so upset. it has ruined their Christmas. I will never use Greenway ever again, even with a warranty.

Had a leak, we determined it was the hot water heater. Greenway came to look and also determined it was the hot water heater. We scheduled an appointment from 12-5 on Friday. Greenway tech called at 10am on Friday to see if he could come out early and I told him no one was there but that someone would be there at 12 just like we had scheduled. Greenway office called and said they couldn't keep technician out for 2 more hours until our scheduled appointment because he was already done with his calls (besides us) for the day, they were going to let him go home. What? I complained but it didn't matter, we had to reschedule for following morning. Saturday morning techs came out and informed us that we needed to upgrade our electric outlet, that it was no longer to code- why couldn't first guy tell us that so we could have it done when they brought out new water heater? So, we get to reschedule again for Monday- tech calls at 10:30 to see if he can come out early again (appt. scheduled for 12-5 again) and I tell him no one can be there until 12 AS WE HAD SCHEDULED. This time he said that was fine. Water heater gets installed, is currently leaking. I have called to speak to a manager, Christy or Melissa, twice today and once this past Friday and could not get them, was told they were gone for the day. Monday I did not receive a call back, it is now Tuesday and still no call back. Bad water pressure and no hot water otherwise I would shower and meet them at their office. May just head up un-showered.

My AC went out at about 7 pm in 100 degree weather.  When I called American Home Shield because AC is covered in my home warranty, I got a computer.  It said they would set up appointment time with Greenway and to expect a call back.  I waited.  Brought two fans.  Then the next day, I called Greenway and spoke to a very receptive rep who said AHS hadn't notified them yet (I guess because the warranty gives them 48 hours) but she would schedule me anyway.  It was a Friday, appointment was Monday.  And it happened!!!!  Two guys arrived on time and went to work.  Filters needed replacing, freon was leaking, thermostat wasn't communicating with ac unit.  I was expecting massive money even after the warranty.  I was also expecting Andre&Co to say I needed massive work done, maybe even a new unit.  Instead they spent a few hours (part of it in the attic) and gave me a bill that was only what the warranty didn't cover (the freon and the service charge), including advice on maintenance.  I couldn't wish for better or had a better experience.  The next day I got a call asking if the work had been satisfactory.  Yes.  And yes, the AC works.

When Greenway shows up they do good work.  I had them back out to fix a few things and the guy was efficient, nice and quick a great combination.  I know there are issues sometimes, but overall they do pretty good and are fairly priced.

Do not use Greenway home services. They worked on my toilet. They replaced the filler value. To replace this you have to remove the supply line pipe to the back of the toilet. . Two days later I came home to a flooded downstairs with two rooms of ruined carpet. They came out WITHOUT a manager and fixed the pipe. Manager came out AFTER it was fixed looked at the supply pipe and said it was not their fault, and my home owners insurance adjuster that it was their error was a  A retard (his words not mine) He said the Supply pipe was just old and needed replacing. It was not their job to notice this when they had it in their very hands just two days prior. Sigh....  Come to find out that old pipe was actually installed by Greenway themselves just barely over two years prior when we hired them for a $3,000 job. So if it wasn't their fault for directly working on it just two days prior, it was their fault for installing a sub-par part just two years prior. Are the replacement parts they are using not built to hold up to more than two years of normal use?   So either way it is their fault that my home had $5,000 worth of damage they are refusing to take responsibility for. Beware!  I will be honest and say that the tech that came out was very nice and polite.

I had a flood in my bathroom Thursday night!!! The first thing I did Friday morning was to call Greenway Home Services. I had several meetings on Friday but had to get this fixed as it was my daughters 13th birthday party with 10 13 year old girls!!! My hardwood floors meant too much to have that happen again much less with a housefull of screaming girls. When I called Greenway, they were very accomodating. They actually called me to let me know when they were going to the appointment before me and when they were heading my way. I was able to get my work done and be there when they got there. Then I got a couple of follow up calls afterwards to make sure the job was done to my complete satisfaction. I would reccomend Greenway to my friends, family or anyone that needs quality service at an affordable price. While talking to them, I learned a couple of things. #1 Greenway has same rate service 7 days a week (they do not knock your head off on the weekends). #2 They have technicians that are certified in either appliance repair, plumbing services or heating and air conditioning repair and replacement. This keeps them from having to know everything about 3 different services and they are really good at what they specialize in.

I'm so dissatisfied with Greenway.  Our air has been out for 7 days for a expedited service request due to medical reasons.  They came out last Monday and told my husband the part would be in the next day.  The part didn't come in until late Wed. So they scheduled us for 1-5 Thursday. They came out changed part the house never cooled down and late Friday night it stopped blowing all together.  I called home warranty company and they told me they would request someone out first thing tomorrow but I could give them a call when they opened Saturday morning.  I called Greenway Saturday at 8 am and spoke with someone named Shelby that showed no interest or concern about my problem. I asked for a supervisor and she told me the only person there was her and another lady.  She then told me she could give me Monday 8-12.  My husband just called and told me that Greenway just called and told him it would be after 12 before they would arrive.  My husband has now missed a total of 4 days Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Monday again for something that still isn't working. I'm sure they will have to order the part and we'll have to wait 2 or 3 days in this 100 degree temperatures with no air. I initially requested that my warranty company didn't send out Greenway due to previous issues but they assured me that they had better service. 7 days later we still don't have air, I've had to send my mother that is on oxygen to another relative due to the extreme heat, and my husband has lost time/money.  I'm seriously considering another home warranty company due to their contract that they have with Greenway.  We just would like our air fixed in a timely manner.

I have had it with Greenway Home Services.  I got them as part of the American Home Shield warranty when I sold my house.  I took three visits to diagnose the bad coil in the A/C.  A forth visit to measure the coil (took three minutes) and I am now waiting on parts.  No A/C for two weeks.  I have called my old A/C man,  Also instead of a $60 charge that AHS advised me that there is an additional $360.  I will never call them again,

Terrible follow up to service.  After replacing the sewer pipe from the house to the street at a cost of $3800.00, they left the front yard in a total mess.  It had been agreed that they could not save the grass where the trench was dug but I expected it to be left in a presentable condition.  After many calls to Greenway (3 calls) I was finally put in contact with the plumbing manager (Fred) and he came out to review the property.  He agrees that it needed to be cleaned up and that he would have someone out within two day.  Did not happen.  I called again and he said that he would have someone out that afternoon.  Person came but did not let anyone know that he was on site.  Stayed less than ten minutes and left.  I went out this morning and cleaned up the mess.  I got a 5 gal bucket full of broken clay pipe, broken PVC pipe, many tree roots that had been dug up, many cig but that left by the repair men and two saw blades from the say that they use.  Will not be using Greenway Home Services in the future.
