Not only were they on time, great service, professional, and not expensive (compared to others), the personal relationship you develop with Shawn Patton the owner himself is remarkable. He was all about educating you and showing you what's going on with your current unit so that you understand why you need his service. I've used this company twice, and they got the job done both times. As we got ready to relocate to Memphis, we needed work done on the 1927 home we would be moving into. I was able to schedule the work long distance, and they were good at staying in communication. The first job was installing water lines and drain for a washer on the back porch (there had never been one). The second job was installation of all new hardware and shower ring on a claw foot tub. I appreciate the good work they did on both jobs. It could not be easy working with old pipes on such an older home. Thanks guys!

My review of Happy Hiller as a new customer. It is that time of the year when we were needing to get our HVAC unit serviced. Kind of new to the area and not having an HVAC serviced here before we reached out to Happy Hiller. I had read mixed reviews so we thought we would give them a try. They were very booked up so we scheduled 2-3 weeks ahead for an appointment between 8-10 AM. We received a call just after 9 AM the technician was on his way.
Now it is 11:50 AM that morning, almost noon, and 2 hours and 45 minutes after we received the call stating he was on his way. We have not heard from anyone and not seen anyone. We really need to be leaving soon so we call Hiller. I get a rep on the phone who looks into the issue. The rep states that they tried to call us at 9:10 AM and again left a voice mail at 9:15 AM to reschedule. First off, I was just called a few minutes prior to that stating the technician was on his way. I received absolutely no call after that. No call stating they were running late, no call to reschedule. I asked what number they called and left the voice mail. They provided my number. Ok, I received their call after 9 AM. First off, why would you say he is on his way then secondly, call back later to reschedule. I didn't believe any of it. The call rep seemed to get very irritated towards me and was very short with me. She was less than friendly at that point. I was very nice to her, not upset, very calm tone, just wanting to find out what is going on. I stated if he isn't on his way then I would like to just cancel the appointment. She reached out to him and placed me on hold. When she came back he was going to be here in 10 minutes. That was fine. I said that was fine and thanked her.

This is more than 3 hours after I was told he was going to be here. Yes I was waiting 3 hours from the I am on my way call and 2 hours late with no, I'm sorry I am late. Technician acted like nothing was wrong.
Techician went to work on the HVAC. Came back and was talking about a part that needs to be replaced and kind of quickly went thought what he found. Stated he could replace the part. It would cost $199 for him to do it and $6 for the part. I asked him what was all included in the $199. He seemed to get very agitated when I asked him. He said Well it is for me being here, my time, Ok is this where the Happy Hiller True Tranparency Pricing comes in? The least I would have expected, since I never got an I am sorry I was late or 'I was backed up (which he stated he wasn't backed up), would have at least offered a discount for the repair or something for the huge inconvenience. I only say that because I have worked in customer service for more many years and if you make a mistake, you want to make it right for the customer. You want the customer to have the best experience possible. No one tried to make anything right here.
I asked the technician if I can have a copy of what was done. He stated they do not provide copies of the work that was done. He never told me what he did even when I asked. Kind of avoided the question. Just told me what needed replaced. There is no Transparency here.
Would I just Happy Hiller again? Based on this experience no. Would I recommend? Based on this experience no. No notification of being late, no appologizes for the inconvenience. Had some plumbing and HVAC issues. Technicians were available to come out within a few days of scheduling an appointment. Both technicians were knowledgeable and were a great help with solving the issues I was having.

Steve, our salesperson, was sexist right away. He met with me and my husband, and even though I was buying the air conditioner, he would look at my husband and not me, and made a comment to my husband about getting in trouble with the wife if the air was broken. When I asked about price, he would only tell me how much I'd be paying each month for 24 months. I went and got a calculator because he wouldn't' tell me the price straight out. I was shocked at the price, $ 8000 for heat and air for our 1,000 sq.ft house, but it was the middle of august, so I said ok. He signed us up for a home depot credit card for 24 months interest free. 12 months later my bill has a charge for $2,000 in interest. They say I signed up for 12 months interest free, not 24. Home depot credit services refused to help me. I called Conway, they told me to call Home depot. I made them call steve at home on his day off. He said he would straighten it out Tuesday, which is nice, but I will be worrying about this all weekend.

Johnathan was prompt, professional, courteous and efficient. He assured that the inspection was done properly and that the furnace was operating properly. He even changed the air filter for me. RW Heating & Air came out to our house as a result of calling our house warranty about a bad water heater. They determined that we needed a new water heater, new plumbing throughout the house (we have C-PVC plumbing), and quoted a 10 yr guarantee on the water heater. We cashed opted to cash out from our warranty and purchased a new heater from RW. The next day two technicians came out to install the heater. They did not check to see if the drain pipe went outside of the house or was plugged...just drained the heater...inside the wall. Water came out on the outside wall, into the wall, and possibly into the sheetrock. A supervisor came out, claimed the drain was our fault and they would not pay for damages. He also stated that they do not have 10 year guarantees. According to my wife he was rude and disrespectful during the conversation and at one point, when questioned about previous comments, he refused to speak with her any more. The technicians ran the drain out through the house eves and reconnected the old water heater. This is our third encounter with this company and in 2 of the 3 encounters the technicians did not seem to know what they were doing. If dealing with this company I strongly recommend caution. They seem more interested in telling the customer that their plumbing is bad and selling all new plumbing from RW.

This company is a rip off. I paid $750 for an HVAC condenser unit, and all I got was a bucket of non-working rust. Does not honor his contract or guarantees. I would never use them nor recommend them to my worst enemy.
