In today's world of service, I have encountered so many business owners who just want to get your money with little to no sincere customer satisfaction. Patton Plumbing is NOT that type of business. Not only were they on time, great service, professional, and not expensive (compared to others), the personal relationship you develop with Shawn Patton the owner himself is remarkable. He was all about educating you and showing you what's going on with your current unit so that you understand why you need his service. Thank you for all your tips on lowering my electric bill, saving energy and suggestions that I invest in a new unit instead of repairing the one that I have for the long term return on investment. The background info.  After topping of and servicing my unit for the year with an alternative freon,  my regular a/c guy was unavailable for a couple of weeks.  shortly after the service my a/c unit started acting up.  I called choates to fill in for my guy.
The tech came out, put gauges on it and said the unit was over serviced.  Pressures were way too high.   The tech spent the next hour trying to sell me a new unit.  Im a mechanic by trade.  I Can keep up with most tech conversations.  the tech focused on the alternative freon as a way to turn every conversation back to a new unit or multi thousand dollar repairs with no guarantee of success.  the only viable option in his opinion was to purchase a new unit for 5-7 thousand dollars.  We talked for a bit and he left after calling in an appointment with sales person for the next day.  they never showed, or called.

I got back in touch with my guy finally.  He came over, hooked up the gauges and read the pressures.   Yep, I got it wrong last time.  He literally opened the valve on his gage set and let off a touch of pressure til it stabilized per the a/c pressure chart on the unit.  It has been running like a top ever since.  
After this experience,  I could not recommend this place to anyone.  I feel as though they blatantly tried to rip me off.

Ryan & Anthony came out & verified that our leak was coming from our upstairs shower by reproducing the problem. Prior to Ryan's arrival we had already had 1 estimate & my uncle deduced that it was the shower. Arctic guys seemed very knowledgeable, patient & courteous. My only complaint is that I wasn't informed of service charge for estimate/diagnosis when I made appointment. Service charges for estimates and diagnosis are acceptable but not everyone charges for estimates. While I probably will go with another vendor, I think these guys deserve a chance. Just make sure you know that there is a service charge for estimates and what it is BEFORE they come out.

Charlie M was awesome! Conway called us earlier then the expected appointment and offered us an earlier time. We were more then happy about that! He showed up and went right to work. Did a great job and we would recommend him to anyone.

This is absolutely the worse AC company I have ever worked with. They were sent out by my warranty company to diagnose a malfunctioning AC unit. After 4 visits by all rookie techs, they determined it was the evaporator coil. After spending over $1000 out of pocket the unit is still not working and guess what, the won't stand behind their work. DO NOT waste your time with these inexperienced criminals.

Update: After fixing this problem myself, the tech that came out failed to even glue the fitting or replace the part they were supposed to. This was not a case of being restricted by the warranty company in anyway. They failed to successfully complete the task they intended.

And in response to your assessment that the warranty company somehow affected your scheduling? That is not what the person who answers your phone said. She said they were just busy. Too busy to fix a problem you made worse. No, sir. You all failed.

This company is very friendly make you feel like you family, they always come in the time frame. My air had been out since this summer no one could seem to find the problem. Let me tell you about Andy !! He took his time found the problem and got us back and running. This man loves his job you can tell by his pateince he shows towards customers by listening to them, and solving the problem..

This company came in and put a hole in my wall by my fireplace to fix the leaking gas valve.  However, they did not repair the damage they did to the wall.  I have called them several times as has the renter I have in my house and they still have not come to fix the hole they put in the wall.  In addition to that, the repairman made two visits that were about 30 minutes in length each visit.   Yet I am being charged for about 3 hours of work.  While the valve was repaired, there is still a hole in the wall. In my opinion, this is not good quality service or business.  I still have not received a call back from this company.  Next step is the BBB!!!

If only i could give 0 . The worst plumbing service ever! Had to call them to fix our plumbing problem. The first day a man came, he couldn't find the clean out. He even asked me if i know where it was. How could a woman, first time owner of a house will know where it is? I was even not here when this house was built 30yrs ago! And how could he not find it when it's his job to do it? He only spent like 5-10mins and decided to ask right away for the service fee! He gave a receipt stating that he couldn't or we don't have a clean out, so he need to go to the vent the next time he will come to our house. Or better yet, if my husband find the clean out, he'll be back. Fast forward to that next day, he came back. The schedule was 2-4pm, he came at around 4:06pm! Very unprofessional! He tried the vent, didn't work! Had my bathroom flooded again of what he did. I kept telling him that if he do something, it will be flooded on the bathroom, still he did it. Bathroom (2) and bath tub (2) got so messy. In short, no work has been done! That was Friday so we need to wait again for the weekend to be over with no bathroom to use. My husband decided to get a very decent plumbing service because when he called them back first thing on Monday, their customer service sucks! Kept telling my husband that they will return his call blah blah blah.. well guess what? No return calls until almost night time. Anyway, our plumbing problem has been resolved by another company that my husband called just today, Tuesday, same day they came. Thanks to you guys! Your company is never number one after all!

This company is a rip off. I paid $750 for an HVAC condenser unit, and all I got was a bucket of non-working rust. Does not honor his contract or guarantees. I would never use them nor recommend them to my worst enemy.
