I have been calling on them for many years for all my plumbing problems. They have installed a new outdoor faucet, unclogged lines twice, put in new water heater and today fixed a leaking drain pipe under house. Personnel are always friendly and competent. The prices seem to be reasonable and the work is done on a timely way. Office staff lady is nice and friendly.

We have used Wade Plumbing for about 17 years, and are pleased with their service. Wade Plumbing replaced 2 toilets, one recently, the other one a year ago. I pick out what I want online, Mark orders it, and Chance installs it. Always a smooth process, they never make or leave a mess. Their dispatcher, Donna, is always courteous and helpful and she keeps us in the loop. I highly recommend Wade Plumbing.

This business has been around for quite some time and has always been professional for me to deal with. Great quick service, planning and follow through. Management is very easy to deal with and communicates well in a responsive manner. Very experienced service and technicians. Always a good experience with positive interactions.

I found Smith's Plumbing using an internet search and was impressed by their good reviews. I read their website and called them to fix a leaky faucet.
Unfortunately I did not ask for a written estimate before the work proceeded. I wish I had because there were added charges for after-hours work that Smith's charged me. I explicitly stated that my case was not an emergency on my initial phone contact and yet 2 of their plumbers called me on the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, (Thursday, Friday and Saturday), to make an appointment. I refused the Thursday appointment because it was not an emergency. Then I agreed to a Friday appointment--which they were unable to make--and then a Saturday appointment was fixed. Making the Saturday appointment incurred all the extra fees. Lesson learned: always get a written estimate before anything is done.
Their website lists only the 59 dollar dispatch fee and has no stated schedule of holiday hours, after hours, or emergency fees. This is not right. Obviously I did not schedule an appointment on Thursday Thanksgiving, but if they are calling me on Friday and Saturday to set up an appointment and these days are part of the holiday or after hours period which incurs added charges, they need to say so clearly before scheduling the appointment.
I am not giving them a 1 star rating because they are very good in other respects: they respond very quickly to phone messages, and do very good work. I am just not satisfied with the charges.

Mike Whiteley came to us by way of MLGW because of a pipe they broke. We were in need of a plumber for other reasons, and I was instantly struck by Mike's plumbing expertise and his intelligence in general. We ended up hiring Mike for an outside leak in our water line and to replace the main cutoff valve in our house. He is quick and he's not inexpensive, but certainly not exorbitant. He is confident, but not arrogant, and best of all, he listens to his customers. We are definitely satisfied customers and now we are glad MLGW broke the pipe since it led us to Mike.

First attempt at installation not possible due to wrong pan size and wrong width of heater for closet size.
Sales rep (Dustin) had duly noted all relevant measurements, but no internal confirmation by Patrick (manager) prior to sending a truck.
Big waste of time, plus no respect for neighbors who had water turned off in entire section of condo building.
Wrong technicians (not the crew originally promised) arrived today -- two weeks later and more or less as scheduled. No advance call as promised. No shoe covers as promised & wearing sewer boots.
Poor communication between Patrick and Nikita at office. No prior explanation about original crew having called in sick.
Multiple follow-up calls from Choate's -- apparently only responsive when the sale is suddenly on the line.
Too many issues with Choate's, especially during Coronavirus surge.
Last person I spoke with was advised to expect a bad Yelp! review from this highly vocal and disappointed previous customer.

This company charged my father $287 for a $40 part. The owner sets the prices and he refuses to call my father back to discuss. Taking advantage of seniors is incredibly disrespectful. Do not give them your business.
