Best Drain Installation in Madison WI

I'm not a person who does reviews unless it's bad (typically), but when someone shines, I think I owe them a positive review. This is a good group. Fair and reasonable...most importantly, honest and customer service orientated. Highly recommended.

My Parents, who are in their late 70s, water softener system had failed, and stopped working on 11/14/2022. I had gone down to check out the system. I heard a leaking hiss, and found a pinhole leak, from one of the main water lines so I turned the water supply off and did a temporary patch to the leak. I had worked on the system before, but it was at it's end of life, and needed to be replaced. I called Plumbing Place, it was already late afternoon, and the receptionist said she would call their master plumber, and would give him the details, and to expect arrival time between 7-7:30 the next morning. The Tech was prompt, and was friendly. He checked over the system, and told me all that needed to be done, and gave me an estimate. I had agreed, and he went to get the the necessary parts, and returned. He removed the old system, and installed the new one. He also did some pipe replacement, and repairs. He was very skilled and efficient, and the new water softener system looked great! The job was completed in just a few hours, I was very pleased with the work he had done, I would contact this company again with any future repairs! I would highly recommend Plumbing Place, as a very reliable company to do business with!

Ian is great! I was able to schedule an appointment via text, and he responded immediately. He fixed the plumbing issue quickly. Very professional, prompt and personable! I would definitely recommend Remedy Plumbing's services. They're now on my speed dial.

Called Monday morning about a sewer back up in my basement, said they would be over in 20-30 minutes, showed up in 15 minutes. They had tree root and TP clog cleared out in about an hours. Fast, polite, and professional.  Will definitely call them again in a year to see how fast the roots have returned. I usually don't leave reviews but it's feels rare to find a service business that does it right and had to give them some recognition. Good job and thanks.

Super impressed. Came out 1st thing on a Saturday morning. I called a few local plumbers and no one seemed to want to deal with my backed up drain on a Saturday morning. Jay with Roto-Rooter was quick and friendly. Total price was Less than what other plumbers quoted just come out. I would highly recommend this location.

We scheduled an appointment with Capital Plumbing in Madison for a new hot water heater. They had installed our last hot water heater 13 years ago and we were satisfied with their work and pricing. The day before the plumber was scheduled to arrive, we tried to dispose of some old  Metamucil down the kitchen drain and it clogged our drain. The plumber installed the new hot water heater in no time and proceeded to unclog the kitchen sink drain. Do not attempt to dispose of Metamucil down a drain, Throw it in the garbage. Jeff the plumber from Capital City certainly went the extra mile for us to unclog our drain and even had to run some new plastic drain piping to remedy our mistake. We were afraid to open their bill, but the billing was more than fair and we will recommend Capital Plumbing in Madison to all of our friends and neighbors.

Dan has (unfortunately, yet thankfully) been to my house several times to unclog my drain in the basement whenever it backed up. Day or night, I even called him on either Christmas Day or Eve, and he came out right away. Dan cares about his customers and always goes to great lengths to provide quality service and also provides references for bigger projects, for example, for me to get my tubing replaced in the basement, so that my drain doesn't keep on getting clogged. Anytime you need any sort of drain service, please call Dan!

I called to have my water heater serviced, as I didn't have any hot water at the time & needed help sooner rather than later. Living in Sun Prairie & semi new to the area, I thought I would reach out to Cardinal instead of the name I was given when I got my new place. The receptionist that answered the phone was incredibly unhelpful. She didn't answer with a polite 'hello, this is so & so, how can I help you' it was 'yea, can I help you', we sat in silence for a good minute. She didn't even give a name. When she asked for mine I had to say & spell my name a good 6 times for her. After she took all of my information & everything she needed from me she ended up telling me they wouldn't be able to assist me. It was truly disappointing that the first person I was in contact with at Cardinal ruined any positive opinion I had of the company & ruined any future business I will do with the local company. I contacted else where and they were more than happy to assist, customer friendly & fix my problem ASAP.

Craig was phenomenal. I needed some help with bathroom fixtures and he was able to work with me in terms of scheduling. He was prompt in responding, up front on the charges and very efficient. The job was done really well. Thank u for your help! Yelp made it super easy for me ..

I called on a Wed they said We will call you tomorrow and see what we can work out to come out and look at our problem. Monday rolls around and she finally calls.  I couldn't be home that day so I said can we do it tomorrow?  She says Sure, we will call you in the morning It is Friday now and no one called, that is over a week since I called for assistance.  And we were a repeat customer!  Not anymore, not anymore.

Didn't fix the problem. Called about a broken handle in my shower and they instead replaced my shower head (with a cheap non- filter) . What a joke. As if I couldn't replace my own shower head with one I actually like. Now hiring a different plumber to fix the handle. Paying twice.

Water heater stopped working. They provided prompt and courteous service. Kevin did a great job and finished in a timely manner. Hot water for a shower - yay!! Very pleased!

We hired Country Plumber for our backyard wedding & we could not be happier. No one ever fully appreciates a plumber until Sh*t hits the fan and you need to get married at your house, during a pandemic. Well, I will tell you this a) no chance 50 people are using my bathroom and b) no chance will they use a generic ole blue porta potty. Country Plumber not only delivered they over delivered. Amazing communications, great price and no fuss. To think, part of our guests experience was rest rooms - fully loaded with music, lights and comfort - we will use them again anytime we plan a party!

Incredibly difficult to schedule anything... they can't even confirm if we can set an appointment for tomorrow.
