Kyle, Bryan and Mary have provided friendly, professional service. From our first contact to the date of installation. Our water heater replacement was done efficiently and in a timely manner.  They made sure they got it right.  Not a flight by night.  Thank you we greatly appreciate it.

We called Ratterman a few months ago to install a waterline to the new ice maker & install a replacement faucet in the bathroom.  They were absolutely fantastic!  Thank you Chad & Keith!

This week, we had water in our basement due to a stopped up sewer line.  They came, they snaked, they pulled out large roots. After all that, water was still backing up in the basement shower.  AWESOME supervisor Chad came out and also found the backflow valve had seized.  He had to clean it out & free that up. (Sparing you the gory details.) It will still need to be replaced and we'll eventually have to dig up the yard and replace the remaining clay pipes, but... We have water! We have sewer! They have REALLY been awesome with everything they've done for us in the past several months.  

I even recommended them to my parents a couple of weeks ago when they had a basement drain back up.  They were there in less than an hour, late on a Saturday afternoon and took care of the problem immediately.  My parents were extremely happy with their service as well.  Thank you Ratterman!!

HE introduced to self and let me know he was a master plumber. It's always a good feeling when you know it will get done right the  first  time. He's very thorough with everything he did, make sure it was done properly,and he didn't rush thru it,nor did he take to long was done before I had to pick up the kids. When we got home the kids were thrilled to use the upstairs bathroom.
I recommend him for anybody who is looking

HIGHLY recommend! My water heater was leaking (flooding is more like it) so I called and got an actual person on the phone and these guys were at my house within an hour! I ended up need to replace it and I figured since it was time.. waaaaay past time clearly.. I would switch to a tankless.. Rod and Jason were AWESOME! They explained the whole process, cleaned up (yes they ACTUALLY cleaned up after the mess!) and were very polite even with all the questions I was throwing at them. I will absolutely use them again to replace a toilet and move some fixtures on my rental house!

He gave us the most reasonable quote and had a lot of experience before going out on his own. They came and worked many days to complete the job. He was awesome! Definitely a good hire!!

I needed a toilet replaced in a condo and called Daniel Brown Plumbing. The office was extremely helpful! They found the toilet I wanted, picked it up from the supplier, scheduled me quickly, arrived to the job site on time, installed the toilet, and took away the old one. I couldn't ask for anything more. EXCELLENT customer service, great communication and workmanship. I highly recommend Daniel Brown Plumbing.

This company performed a repair for me about 3-4 weeks ago and I found them to do satisfactory work. However, I am disappointed that they mark up their supplies SO MUCH. For instance, I needed a ten foot 1-1/2 inch PVC pipe which a retail customer could purchase for $7.00 at Lowe's, but likely this plumbing company can buy it for less. This company marked this item up OVER 600 PERCENT of what I could purchase it for, to FIFTY DOLLARS! I would expect a modest markup, maybe 25%, when I am also paying for a service call ($50) AND labor ($90 per hour for one person or understandably more for two persons). Maybe this high percentage markup is common in the plumbing industry but I am not happy about it and I will need to try a different plumbing company next time. I felt this company was NOT A-OK and deserved 2.5 stars instead of 3. But I felt that a 2 rating would be unfair to them. Hopefully this review will convince them to reduce their markup percentages and help make them a better company. Thank you.

Unresponsive after dispatched via home warranty provider. They called initially and left message but I called back 5-6 times over the course of a week - they never replied and never scheduled. Had to turn elsewhere for service.

Called with emergency at 9:00 at night. Sinks, toilets etc backing up. They spent 2 hours to get it fixed and cost over $300. Today it started backing up again-called. We were told if they came out again we would be charged again. Not fixed first time and less than 24 hrs and will be charged again-never call them !

UPDATE: after having a 5 star experience th last time, I called Austin Bryan after a major leak from a toliet. They said They would be out the next day between 1 and 3 on March 15th 2018. Around 2 I had not heard from anyone, so I called. Left a message. Shortly I received a call and the technician advised I had been over looked in the system because there was an emergency and they some one would be there. Around 330 he showed up. He looked at the problem. We needed a new line from the floor to toilet, new toilet and auger and they would run a camera on the outside line and he would be back at 9 am the next day...you guessed it...no one showed. I got a call and he left a message saying that the boss wanted him on a big job and if I called him in the next few mins he would swing by. If not it would be later in the day. Ummm no. I waited around all day the day before and wasn't doing it again. I called the main line and left a message again and expressed my upset. Within 20 mins I got a call back. They came out around 1130 and did the work. However he said the other tech that was out the day before had the camera and he would be out in the next 10 days to do it. They said They were doing it for free because of the problems .
You guessed it....no one came back. No one answered my calls or returned them.
Oh we will address your complaints with services we will never actually do.
Sad. I was going happy with them the first time. Never will use them again.

I first called a big name company because we had a leak from our upstairs bathroom through the ceiling into our dining area. They said we had a tub drain needing to be replaced but we had a tubliner so they couldn't fix it. I got a hold of Austin Bryan Plumbing and they came out the next day. Come to find out we don't have a tubliner nor was it the tub drain. Our pipe had a big gash in it. They were very reasonably priced and worked quickly. Will definitely avoid the hassles in the future .

Bought a new Carrier  unit 10 years ago and already need a new unit.  Lol.      My warranty just expired two weeks ago and Jarboes doesn't want to honor it.  This company said to me(We can sell you another one) smh

Before you buy a Carrier,   do you homework.  (This unit is made in Mexico)!!    10 years and that all you get!!

I have found my go-to plumber for as long as I live in Louisville.

First, they offer free estimates, which I highly appreciate. I realize that taking time out of a busy schedule to potentially do something that results in zero payment is a risk. But it's awesome. My respect for a company immediately increases when they offer that and I'm much more likely to utilize their services.

Second, pricing! Travis came by last week to give me an estimate for my basement bathroom remodel project. I was blown away by how reasonable the price was. The last time I hired a plumber, I was ripped off big time. I've been hesitant ever since and haven't really trusted plumbers, but Travis was awesome.

I ended up hiring them to complete my project. Called on Tuesday and they scheduled me for the same week, Friday morning. Travis arrived on time, calling in advance to let me know. He put in a new seal for the toilet after I tiled the bathroom, installed the toilet, put new shut off valves for the toilet and sink, installed my new pedestal sink, replaced some valves in the stand up shower and installed the shower trim kit I purchased at Lowe's (it's cheaper to buy your own materials and let them be installed, otherwise the prices are marked up). Oh, and he last minute replaced my outside water faucet because the handle on the old one was broken off.

He worked nonstop for almost 3 hours and cleaned up once he finished. He also double-checked his work to make sure no leaks occurred and explained what he did. All of this for $550. What a deal!

Like I said, any plumbing I need in the future, I'm calling Travis!

After they rescheduled my first appointment, the technician showed up, and fixed a pipe.  I wanted an estimate on a new 1/2 bath installation.  The technician identified a pipe in the basement leading to my furnace as the Main line!  When I pointed out that it goes to the furnace, and is not a plumbing line, he stated oh, I didn't really look. In the basement, he removed some insulation from a crawl space door, not in the area needed,   I told him not to do that, he put it back, but a few minutes later he went over and took it off again !   He then proceeded to tell me that my kitchen sink  and my laundry room was in a different area than they are, and , again, I had to point out the plumbing lines.  He then said a 1/2 bath was not possible.  The half bath area is in the laundry room on the other side of the bathroom.  (Another company has been hired to put in the 1/2 bath,  No problem. ).  He was not able to remove a faucet in the main bathroom and I had to call and request another appointment with a different tech.  Of course,  they couldn't make it , as they were dealing with all the flooding in Louisville.  As they are the only ones in Louisville who heard about any flooding ( lies, lies, lies),  they wanted to reschedule.  I don't think so.  Don't waste your time with this company.

am writing this review on behalf of a POC friend in hopes youll listen to a white person. The men who entered my friends house (they are black) were calling his family n****** (yes, with the hard R) and BLM c*cksuckers (my friend is gay). To have people that represent your company say such vile things about people in their own home is disgusting. My friends and I will absolutely never give a dime of my money to this company and I hope you take responsibility for your employees. This company is absolutely disgusting.

New AO Smith water heater 12/04/2019 crushed on install. and turned up since new and NO longer hot.
year old +13 days!
