Our water quit working and we needed a new one. My husband called 4 other plumbing businesses. No other business would either answer nor call him back. Jarboe's answered and provided us with great service. The two gentlemen that came were very nice and respectful. Our water heater looks nice and works. Very much enjoyed the hot water once again. Do not ever, ever, ever hire them.
Unless you want to talk about scheduling difficulties until you rip your hair out, after 4 days of no action.

Bought a new Carrier  unit 10 years ago and already need a new unit.  Lol.      My warranty just expired two weeks ago and Jarboes doesn't want to honor it.  This company said to me(We can sell you another one) smh

Before you buy a Carrier,   do you homework.  (This unit is made in Mexico)!!    10 years and that all you get!!

We had issues with our plumbing/clog somewhere in the system causing everything to back up. We has Jarboe's out and they claimed they could t find anything, but since our toilets were flushing they charged us the fee and left. We ended up having the same issue approximately a week later due to them not fixing the issue in the first place. Everything flooded again. We had them out again in hopes they could fix it. They did not and unfortunately we flooded again. We had another company out, they spent a little more time and although it was a little more expensive we have had no more issues. I would not recommend Jarboe's to anyone.

I contracted Jarboes June 2021 to install my homes first AC unit (I know, crazy it never had AC before I purchased it). The sales rep came to my house, walked me through all my options and gave me a price that fit my budget. I know that I paid a bit more for using a big name, but they scheduled me really fast and were able to perform all work on a single day. The team worked until the job was done. They walked me through the process step by step and ensured I knew what they were doing. Only opportunity for improvement is to have them bring their own broom and dust pan to make clean up easier.

We had a moderate leak under the kitchen sink, so we called Jarboe's.  On Dec 19th, a service person came and decided that we needed to change the air gap for the dishwasher.  He changed it, but the next day, the leak was still there, so we called Jarboe's again, who told us they will send a Senior plumber, who came on the 21st.  He decided that sealing the periphery will solve the leakage problem, but won't be aesthetically good. Alternately we could replace the sink. We didn't care about aesthetics, so he went ahead and sealed the periphery. We asked about refund for the airgap replacement which was unnecessary and he told us to call the company. The company told us an email to the refund department will be sent and they would contact us. Nothing happened for a month so we called the company again and the lady told us she could send another email to refund department but we could neither call them directly nor have any other recourse than to wait for decision of the refund department. We have yet to hear for a fair resolution of the problem. It seems we are out of luck as far as a fair refund is concerned.
All I can do is to call the better business bureau or forget the whole thing (except to write this review).

I had Jarboe's come out for a quote on a water heater installation. Not only did an unfriendly individual show up for the job but in an 800 sq ft house they quoted me 2500$ lmfao. Not only did I 'no thank you for your service' but that night found a private plumber who did the job for 1100$. Id definitely get more than one quote no matter who you go through on any job you need done. People and businesses will take advantage of you.

Update on my previous post.  Jarboes gets the five stars it deserves, they showed up today on time and completed the job.  They were friendly and answered all my questions. I would not hesitate to call them again.

We signed up for regular maintenance with Jarboe's. Matthew was our HVAC technician. He inspected our furnace and connectors identified the items that were immediate concerns that we needed to address like a potential carbon monoxide leak. Joshua was our plumbing technician. He checked all the toilets, sinks, washer hoses, and even checked our sump pump. Both Matthew and Josh were very professional, polite, and patient with us and answered any questions we had about things they recommended that we fix. Even though they identified several items to address, they were very real about what they considered to be priorities which we appreciated. Great service. I highly recommend Jarboe's.

My Heat went out and I Called Jarboes to come out and trouble shoot it for me. The technician came out and diagnosed it with a bad board that I had replaced last year for $180. He then proceeded to tell me it would be $1,700 to replace the board and that there  was no Guarantees it would fix my issue. I told the technician I was going to get a second opinion before going any further. His response was It's no skin off my nose. I called another Heating and Air guy and he came out and had it repaired and up and running in an hour. It turned out to be a broken wire at the unit outside. A simple ohm test would have told the the technician from Jarboes that was my issue but he chose to take the easy way out and throw parts at it. Why should he care? The company makes money and the client flips the bill. I paid them there $94 service fee and happily walked away from there company. I will never use there services again and I highly recommend you don't either.

I am lowering my rating for this company because even after multiple visits from the, they can't longer find any record of me in my system. This includes the record of my purchasing a service plan. I'm glad I have the paperwork from their last visit. They also fail to show up during their two-hour appointment window. When we called to see where the technician was, guess what, they had nothing in their system. I'm glad I kept the reminder text they sent me. I will find another company.

ETA: This company can't even cancel an appointment correctly. After failing to show up, with no notification, I told them I did not want anyone else to come out. Well, I just got a call from a technician saying he was on his way. No thank you. I also agree with another reviewer who claimed the company will try to upsell you. They will.

Came out twice for a washer to tub drain issue. $93
each visit only to have the same issue 2 months later. On the second visit, we had the delight of listening to Gary tell us how his supervisor had no idea what the f*** he was talking about, and as to how he might have gained his position as a supervisor. Gary, buddy, I don't care. Just fix the drain. $186 later (2x93), same issue. Called Roto Rooter. Problem solved 35ft down the waste line. I want my $186 back!! LIKE. NOW.

Came out for a free estimate that cost $94. Did not accept coupons circulated in mail. Also failed explain why they wouldn't except the coupons that they circulated. When I called to ask why they charged my card when I didn't get any services done they told me that the estimate was a service. Even though they're advertising claims free estimates.Better business bureau was contacted as well as my credit card company to dispute the charges.

Not dependable!  Called on Monday to make an appointment for bathroom issues.  Appointment was scheduled for the next day, Tuesday, between 2-4.  Waited on Tuesday until 3:30, & finally called to check on the status of my appointment.  They had no information or knowledge of my scheduled appointment, & stated they could not send anyone until the following week.  Another plumbing service was called.

Our 4 year old furnace quit working in the night. Called Jarboe  an came out for 3 hrs and replaced 2 parts. Looked up the parts on the internet and cost was less than $70. They charged me $1,070. Then I was told I needed heat exchangers for an additional $1700 or a new furnace. Called my regular furnace guy who said I was tremendously overcharged and he is coming over to see what the problem is. Beware of this company!

Warning if you are thinking about buying from Jarboe's heating and cooling do NOT. They give the worst service I have ever experienced. I bought an air conditioner from them last year. It has since stopped working. I have called several times. The first appointment I set the people did not even show up. They finally sent someone days later and I was told they could not help me fix it. They said they would be back and that was over a month ago! I keep trying to call customer service and they wont let me speak to a manager. This is ridiculous! I highly recommend using someone else.

Update:
I have spoken to Nathan Williams and his response is they will be able to service the air conditions on June 25. This will be 2 MONTHS after I made the first call. This is unacceptable since they have told me on multiple occasions that they would be coming out to my home today. They have the nerve to tell me I agreed to the June 25th date which is not true! I have moved my work schedule around in order to be home for the service. The heat index is increasing and now it is becoming unbearable.

Update:
I have a dispute that I opened with the better business bureau I cannot wait to get this resolved. They took $500 from me for a service agreement and they have not been to my house one time. We have scheduled three different appointments and they did not show up any of those times. I've dealt with their customer service Nathan Williams and he kept telling me they always do the right thing yet never came out within three phone calls and always had excuses each time. I called Maeser Plumbing and heat and air they were out the very next night and fixed everything. If you had the same experience with them you can call the BBB at 502-583-6546

New Update: it is 9/9/2020 and I have yet to receive my $500 refund. This is ridiculous! I have never dealt with a more unprofessional business in my life.

Wish I could give 0 stars. The scheduling dept is a crapshow and the office rep was rude (except Asia, who was great and should look for a better place to work). I would advise to look somewhere else cuz my experience was a ridiculous waste of my time.  Haha and I needed hvac work also but not calling these clowns

While I would recommend them to install new units, I'd never recommend them for the service. Way overpriced. $119 to service a new ac and then $119 to service a new furnace is just crazy. Especially when you consider the fact they did nothing but actually look at it. Was in and out in 5 minutes and the humidifier has never done it's job. Set at 55% humidity and usually under 33% and never over that.
It is a shame because I really liked them, just overpriced on service.

Major ripoff. I wonder how many elderly and unsuspecting people have really gotten the shaft?
My A/C stopped working and I called Jarboe's on Thursday, a tech showed up in the time frame given checked out my A/C and said I needed a new fan motor and a new blade it wound cost over $3000 I said I can't afford that he said let me see if there are any discounts I can give you then came back and said if I pay for this maintenance service for a year at a cost of $189 he could do the job for $1425  but he would have to come back the next day, now that was $$189 maintenance for 1 year, $860 for the motor and $378 for the fan blade not sure why I needed a fan blade. I couldn't afford that either so I paid his service call which because there was a holiday this weekend he said it was considered holiday pay and overtime because he got there after 5 pm so $150 in all.
I contacted a friend the next day he picked up a OEM motor for $112 plus tax did not replace the blade had no reason took him about 30 mins and my ac is working fine his trip charge, labor and parts for the day before July 4th was less than what Jarboe's was going to charge me for just the blade. Please research any repairs cost before getting ripped off by this crew.

Had a technician come out to my home yesterday to look at my heating issue. He stated I needed an igniter but he didn't have one on his truck. He also stated that he would call to see if any other technician had the part today. There was no follow up call about the part from any technician! I called back and the dispatch stated it would be $200 fee to open the parts department to LOOK for the part because it may not be there.

I called them on a Tuesday and made an appointment.  On Thursday evening they called back and said I was out of the coverage area.  Very unorganized and now I must find another plumber and wait for an appointment all the while my water is still leaking.  Looks like I should have took the other bad reviews for the gospel and not wasted my time with these yahoo's.

DO NOT USE THEM !  I'm only giving ONE STAR BECAUSE OTHERWISE I COULDN'T RATE THEM  -- This company should be ashamed of themselves ! They tried to charge my 85 yr old aunt $165 to replace a .60 cent washer in her garden hose / spigot ! Even if the entire spigot itself were bad - which he didn't say it was , that would've only cost at max $12-15 - and oils only take 15 min max to replace !
       They tried to tell me that the only toilets they carry are the high end Kohler - and wanted to charge me $600 for just the toilet- not inc labor . This was for a TINY powder room toilet in a rental property .
They used to be locally owned  ( which is why I called them) but I've since found out they are owned by a large conglomerate who has their workers take hours of classes on how to upsell the trusting customers .

Apparently they didn't want to do the work on my home. They over quoted and barely tried to assess the plumbing issues in our home. I am guessing because I am a female and don't know any better. I got a second opinion from another company and they did the work for $1700 less. They were able to complete it that day so I didn't have to take off work again. The only reason I gave one star is because he didn't charge me the $96 service call.

This is the worst experience I've had with any company that I've paid my hard earned money for and didn't get what I was told I spent 5700 dollars on a new furnace last year and I've  had to call in three times about it since. I also got Maintanance service package documentation and they didn't honor it wow I wont be recommending this company to anyone poor poor customer service after they took almost 6000 dollars from me. Before I paid they were just as nice and polite Jarboe's heating and cooling have no integrity one star don't  no how to give half a star

We had bad storms the evening before, and had lightning hit in the backyard. I call several other service companies to try to get my AC working correctly. Most couldn't even get to me until 4-5 days later. I remembered hearing the commercial on the radio or tv lol. Awesome customer service they worked me in somehow. They told me it might be late evening 10 -11 pm so I said yes. About 2 hrs later I got a phone call from Mark T, our repair guy. This guy was awesome, well mannered and polite. Being a guy I walk around showing where everything was that he needed to check. After a couple of hrs he figured out that lightning struck close enough to fry a part in my AC. I talk to another company before jarboes and they were saying 1100.00 to a new system. Jarboes and Mark said $232.00 and guess who will be doing my AC work here on out. I also hope I can personally ask for Mark T because I feel he really does know what he is doing. Hey Jarboes this guy needs a raise because I will be getting that service agreement in a couple weeks because he sold your company's dedication to customer service to me hands down. So if you need peace of mind that you're not going to be taken for money, this is the company in my book to use.

Our technician, Timothy, fixed the problem for the agreed-upon price, offered tips for preventing future problems, and cleaned up the work space like a champ. The first company we called (can't remember the name, something like Dom Trexler) could really learn a lesson from Jarboe's about service and integrity.

I called Jarboe's to have my furnace cleaned.  I had never used Jarboe's before but had a coupon for a low cost furnace tuneup.  When I bought the house I knew the furnace was old, but I had no idea it was nearly 30 years old and rusting out.  The tech showed me another offer on the coupon that would give me over $2900 off a new system.  I wasn't about to let that slip by me.  I called 2 other companies for quotes.  The man from Jarboe's came the next day to price a new system for me.  He came with presentation material and explained everything in detail.  (Another company had already come to price a new system.  He came with a clipboard, paper and pen, then when he had his figures, he presented me with pricing.  That's it.)  While Jarboe's was there I called and cancelled the third company.  I knew I could not get a better deal for a 2-stage furnace and A/C unit.  I am very pleased with my new furnace.  I'm much more comfortable because my house temperature stays more consistent.  Plus the unit is so quiet I often don't realize when it's on.  Day one the tuneup.  Day two the presentation and agreement to buy the system.  Day three the installation.  Over these three days 5 men.  All were detailed, polite, and knowledgeable.  I highly recomment Jarboe's.

I recently had Jarboe's come out and repair my furnace. The issue was a damaged circuit/controller board. They charged me $781 dollars to replace it. I don't mind paying a fair price for fair services, and I understand businesses needing to be profitable. But to be honest, I really felt as though they over charged me. Afterword's, as an experiment, I called a number of other companies in the area and asked them what they would charge for the same service and the prices ranged from $400 to $600 tops. I also contacted vendors that sold OEM factory replacement boards for my unit and the max price on those were as low as $250. So yes, you can purchase boards online, and install it yourself if you are a little handy. My advice is make sure you take note on some of the reviews here and seek other quotes. These guys are good and courteous, but they're really expensive.
