I've only heard good things about Tony's so I decided to hire them for a repair after having dealt with a couple other plumbing companies that were less than ideal. They were able to repair my shower tile and reinstall my plumbing fixtures within a few hours and did a great job. Other companies had quoted me a higher price to only be able to repair the tile or the futures, not both. Whereas Tony's repaired both with no problem. Highly recommend

I called Tony's plumbing and was able to get service the same day. Austin came out and did a awesome job. He performed several jobs and explained each one. For once I felt like I was treated honestly.
If you ever need a plumber call Tony's and ask for Austin.
Anytime I've had a plumbing emergency, Tony's Plumbing has reliably taken care of the situation without any inflated pricing. They have proven themselves to me and they are the plumbers I call for all of my rental properties.
I have found my go-to plumber for as long as I live in Louisville.
First, they offer free estimates, which I highly appreciate. I realize that taking time out of a busy schedule to potentially do something that results in zero payment is a risk. But it's awesome. My respect for a company immediately increases when they offer that and I'm much more likely to utilize their services.
Second, pricing! Travis came by last week to give me an estimate for my basement bathroom remodel project. I was blown away by how reasonable the price was. The last time I hired a plumber, I was ripped off big time. I've been hesitant ever since and haven't really trusted plumbers, but Travis was awesome.
I ended up hiring them to complete my project. Called on Tuesday and they scheduled me for the same week, Friday morning. Travis arrived on time, calling in advance to let me know. He put in a new seal for the toilet after I tiled the bathroom, installed the toilet, put new shut off valves for the toilet and sink, installed my new pedestal sink, replaced some valves in the stand up shower and installed the shower trim kit I purchased at Lowe's (it's cheaper to buy your own materials and let them be installed, otherwise the prices are marked up). Oh, and he last minute replaced my outside water faucet because the handle on the old one was broken off.
He worked nonstop for almost 3 hours and cleaned up once he finished. He also double-checked his work to make sure no leaks occurred and explained what he did. All of this for $550. What a deal!
Like I said, any plumbing I need in the future, I'm calling Travis!

Hired Tony's to replace our water heater. They came and replaced left a huge mess, water and insulation everywhere. Scratched the floor and freezer. The new water heater was leaking. Another plumber Travis and coworker came to replace with a new water heater the following day. Both plumbers had masks below their nose. My 17 year old son over heard them talking about BLM c*cksuckers and they were using the N word. I'm disgusted, completely unprofessional and ignorant. Do not use Tony's plumbing.

Live in the neighborhood and thought I would try Tony's Plumbing for a water heater replacement. Eric Drexler (the owner) did come the same day I called with a WH and claimed he would install it that day. BUT after starting the job he claimed he didn't have common fittings and tools on the truck and left. Eric was difficult to deal with, sent different employees back multiple times, and overcharged on his bill. The same day installation turned into 3 days. I missed a lot of work and did a lot of calling and running home. I am convinced Eric/employees were making multiple trips to pad the bill roughly an extra $200 dollars. I was also overcharged for simple fittings that were to be included with the installation. I paid for only the agreed upon amount of the installation as nothing more was done or required. Would not recommend.

Our sink in the kitchen was mounted under the granite countertop. It dropped, so I called this business to have it repaired. The plumber came to repair it and he mentioned at least three times that he didn't do that kind of work, but he might as well do something since he was there. He put silicone around half the sink and put support underneath while it dried. He told me to leave the supports under it and not to use the sink for 24 hours. I left it under there for 48 hours. I asked him if this would repair it, He said I hope so. Within two days, I noticed that the sink had dropped down again. I contacted the owner and he stated that he would call me on Monday. I hadn't heard from him, so I decided to reach out to him. He was very condescending and didn't own the bad service I had received. Although, the owner agreed to give me back $60 out of the $144 I paid, I still feel that this was a bad deal considering I explained all parts of my problem before they even came to my house, so if they did not have the skill to do it or or wanted to half-do it then they shouldn't have taken the job.

Called Tony's plumbing to clear a tub drain and review plumbing work done by previous plumber before moving forward with bathroom renovations. Previous plumber worked for a contractor that didn't finish the job. I wanted to be sure the plumbing was ok to proceed with renovations. Tony's plumber, Travis, looked at it and said it'd work. It DIDN'T. 2 months and a bathroom restoration later the faucet could not be installed because the water lines had not been stubbed in with enough line to attach faucet to. I was told I had to tear out everything I'd just put in to install the faucet. That included a vanity, quartz countertop, sink, wainscot and green board. I called Tony's to ask why they thought the short stub was acceptable and Eric, owner, responded their 'plumber is licensed and if he said it's ok I trust that. I don't know who you have working there' implying it was somehow my fault. After some back and forth Eric had his plumber, Travis, call me. Travis's response, in short, was he didn't know what I was 'putting there' so it's not on him. He looked at my very small bathroom that had a tub and toilet already installed. The remaining 40 square feet of bathroom space was enough to walk in and put a vanity. The wall we looked at had a mirrored medicine cabinet in the upper wall with lights above. It was plumbed for a sink and water lines from a washer (see photo). I don't know what else Travis needed to see or I needed to say for him to recognize as a 'professional licensed plumber' a sink was going there. Also, they're very expensive, $170 to clear a tub drain and get bad 'expert' opinion. Tony's would get zero stars if it were possible.
Always fair pricing and does the job within the time frame they give. They are honest and will let you know of different options and ways of doing things. They don't try to up sale you, but they try to educate you on what needs to happen. I've used them for 3 different plumbing needs in my house and they have always fixed the issue the first time!

This company is disgusting and racist. I will NEVER hire them for any services at my home. I DO NOT recommend them. Their company needs to drastically change. They need to apologize to the customers they have offended/discriminated against and FIRE their racist employees! This company should be embarrassed of their actions. Their reputation is now ruined because of their use of racial slurs and vulgar language to CUSTOMERS!

i am writing this review on behalf of a POC friend in hopes youll listen to a white person. The men who entered my friends house (they are black) were calling his family n****** (yes, with the hard R) and BLM c*cksuckers (my friend is gay). To have people that represent your company say such vile things about people in their own home is disgusting. My friends and I will absolutely never give a dime of my money to this company and I hope you take responsibility for your employees. This company is absolutely disgusting.

it was worse than not good. these plumbers are racist and use inappropriate language inside homes when they assume they are not being heard. I am not happy with their services what so ever.

Wow! Recommended from my Nextdoor Neighborhood. They came out & cleared & restored sewer that Tom Drexler tried to bilk me for $3800! Tony's price, $285. Dave & Parker very professional & friendly.
I'm bummed that others did not have the same great experience my husband and I did with Tony's plumbing.
A leaky shower faucet could not be fixed the day they originally came to the house. They were back early the next morning to complete the job and when I returned home from work that afternoon (my husband took off work to meet them), I was greeted by no more leaks and a great looking new fixture. We would definitely use them again.
Excited to have a plumber down the street from my newly purchased house, I called them when my upstairs toilet was making gurgling noises after flushing. They brought out an estimator who told us that our house plumbing wasn't vented, a very common problem in Germantown.
Bummed, I asked for a quote. Waited a week or so, still hadn't heard anything, so followed up again. We received a very vague quote (did not itemize labor or supplies) for about $3,000 to completely rip out walls and install vented plumbing (and no drywall repair would be performed thankyouverymuch).
Since it was more than we were expecting, we decided to hold off for a bit and save up for this. Later, while in the backyard, I see what I perceive to be a plumbing vent stack protruding from my roof, which puzzled me, since I was told our plumbing was not vented.
We called a different plumber to help us with some new water lines in the kitchen, and also to diagnose the toilet gurgle. To make a long story short, the other plumber easily discovered that our plumbing was vented, but the vent stack was clogged. The other plumber removed the clog, charged $600, and we were good to go, saving us $2400!
I can't recommend a plumber who bids $3000 on a job, without even going outside to peek if there was a vent stack to begin with!

I'm a Realtor and property manager and have used Tony's Plumbing for years. They are reliable and priced fairly compared to other plumbing companies. If I have a plumbing emergency they try and get to me same day or as soon as possible. I would recommend Tony's Plumbing to anyone. They are my go to plumber!!!
I have used them several times with decent service. If you have a clogged drain or something basic I think they are fine. I called for a quote to replace a galvanized supply line and the plumber they sent did not have the expertise to quote the job, then I got a 85$ bill for a quote I did not get.

After a recommendation from a Facebook friend, I decided to call Tony's to determine the source of a leak and to repair it. They gave me a four hour arrival time window, with the promise of a 30 minute notice. They called when they were only 3 miles away. Anyway.
Upon arrival, both plumbers barely knocked the snow off their boots before parading through my home WITHOUT the booties that I assumed all plumbers wore these days. That's what I get for assuming. After cringing about wet and dirty and plumbery carpet, they diagnosed the source of my problem to be coming from a bathroom that makes this leak impossible, and to add some caulk.
Anyway...I was charge a service fee AND 1/2 hour labor fee when they were only in my home 12 minutes. During that 12 minutes one of the guys asked to use my restroom, left the seat up, and failed to wash his hands.
I feel the labor rate should have been prorated, or perhaps they could have actually labored by caulking the necessary spots, not using up my bathroom. Unprofessional. I will definitely get a 2nd opinion and find a company that expects the utmost in professionalism from their employees.
I don't know why Tony's won so many local awards and has a good BBB rating with these antics.
