This review is long overdue. I actually found Tim on Yelp and connected with him there last summer. We had just moved into our current house and he installed outlets in the garage. I was scheduled in a reasonable amount of time, he did the work in a reasonable amount of time, and he charged what I thought to be a reasonable price. Like he states he's straightforward and I appreciated that. The outlets work great and I'm glad I had them installed!

Our water quit working and we needed a new one. My husband called 4 other plumbing businesses. No other business would either answer nor call him back. Jarboe's answered and provided us with great service. The two gentlemen that came were very nice and respectful. Our water heater looks nice and works. Very much enjoyed the hot water once again. Had a lot of work done earlier this week (new water heater, replacing a bunch of galvanized pipe, fixing a drain pipe that wasn't slopped right). Both workers were courteous and got the job done, even though it took probably 9 hours of work. I'll update the review if I come across any issues, but as far as I can tell everything is done well.
My only compliant is that their Comfy Club program is a little misleading. Online it claims Exclusive 20% Repair Discount & Low Price Guarantee. I learned when signing up for the program on the phone that the 20% doesn't apply to both Plumbing and Heating. One of them is 10 or 15%, while the other is 20%. Also, they don't say on the website or on the phone when signing up, but there's a $50 limit on discounts. I understand why there is a limit, but they hide that fact until you get billed.

I was originally a Absolutecustomer. Purchased multiple services with them. I'm not sure what happened from 2021 to 2022...but there customer service went down fast! Tried to setup a a few plumbing services and I was told, they are only taking existing customers at this time (like a Doctors office). I explained to them I am an existing customer. Then they explained, oh no you have to pay for a membership. And my membership expired last year. To renew for a new membership is $300 annually (which went up double the cost)! And i was told to call back in 3 weeks to see if i can make a appointment then. I even spoke to the owner too! Absolutely Rediciolus!! I would not recommend them based on their current customer service because they basically saying, we don't care about our customers!

If I could a negative star I would. This company was assigned to my bathroom repair by my home warranty company. The 1st time, the business owner told me she'd be at my house by 8:00 pm. She finally showed up at 10:20pm and seemed surprised I wouldn't let her in to look at the issue. The 2nd time, they did show up and did the work. After the work was performed the business owner then tried to tell me my home warranty deductible was more than it was and threatened to file a lien against my home when I told her the deductible had already been paid and I didn't owe her anything. She yelled at me on the phone and eventually hung up on me when I refused to pay her. My home warranty company confirmed I didn't owe her anything. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

The work Zac and his team completed was all very good quality work. I have no complaints there. I do have complaints about the professionalism of the operation. Melissa is wonderful and responsive. However, the first quote we got did not include half of the items we requested -- I even provided a written list when he came for the free estimate. Zac was over 2 hours late to our actual scheduled service day (no call to let us know, only an email...which I do not check or get notifications for every hour), at which point he still did not have any of the materials to complete the jobs and went to the store no less than 5 times during the day. Thank goodness we are charged by the job and not the hour! The man working with Zac, I believe his name is Dave, was a rock star and completed most of the work while Zac was at the store. However, Zac did not effectively communicate to his assistant (wife) the items being quoted after we met the first time. I am extremely detail oriented and did not misspeak about what I wanted done--again, even provided a written list. But when the team came that day to do the work, they told us it would be hundreds more dollars to do what I had originally requested and what we thought we had already been quoted for. This would have affected our decision to hire the team at all if we had known this cost difference. (We asked for the storm door and complete surround and threshold of the door to be replaced. They apparently only quoted us to replace the storm door.)
After all of this and finding a compromise that day that included some additional cost on our end and some loss of what we wanted done, Zac had one more item he needed parts for and said he would come back the next day. Melissa called before they had even pulled away to take our payment and told us he was not available the next day. Fine. We booked for a few days out but he did not show that day, and we did not receive a phone call. When we called a few days later after no response to our email, they said their computers were down (again, fine) and booked us for the next week. This time, the one job was completed on time and of course well.
