I hired Empire Plumbing and Heating today to fix a plumbing issue at our PAPYRUS location located in the Towson Town Center. Not only were they fast to respond and fix our issue (it literally was less than 30 minutes from when I called them ) they were efficient and completed the job quickly and price was amazing. I would hire them again. I highly recommend them.

When I was searching for someone to do partial work on my basement project, I found Anthony online. When I met him he was very professional and friendly. When speaking to him and showing him my project he was very knowledgeable and new exactly what I needed for my basement project to get the job done and finished the work. He did the rough- in for my basement and it looks AWESOME!!! I would recommend Anthony to anyone who is looking for a great professional plumber and masonry repair worker. It is hard to find a really good person that is trustworthy, honest, knowledgeable, fair and someone who does not waist your time. I appreciate a hard worker and Anthony is just that!!!! He does ABSOLUTELY GREAT work!!!! Thanks a bunch.

Had 3 toilets replaced and a new disposal put in. The price was fair, he was responsive, and did a good job. Not much more you can ask for in a contractor. Would use them again for future work.

We had problems with the faucet on our bathtub over the weekend. I posted on our neighborhood Facebook page and half a dozen people posted for Hamilton Plumbing. So we called them this morning and they were here in less than two hours. The problem was fixed quickly and we have already made another appointment with them to have some other work done. We are very happy with their work.

So I will review my review from a few days ago. I was pretty annoyed, but figured I'd calm down and provide more clarify. My wife calls a plumber to check out a small job. They call me and say it'll be $50 to come and that goes towards the expense of the case upon a hire. To their credit, they arrive quickly. The guys are nice, but after showing them the two issues, which I believed to be fairly minor, they tell me the small job will cost $500, but that if I hire for both, it'll be about $450.
I felt that was a bit high, and I asked how long it'll take them and they tell me that one issue will take about 15 minutes to fix and that costs $230 (approximately - don't have the receipt with me at the moment) and the other one will be closer to an hour and that'll be closer to $370 and will take closer to an hour to fix. I ask them how they figure that job costs that much and they tell me that it's the price. I cannot for the life of me understand how a 15-minute job to fix a ring on a sink drain costs over $200.
I tell them no thanks and I had to pay them $50 just to come out to do an estimate. After they left I looked myself online and found numerous contractors (and plumbers) that give free estimates estimates and I feel contractors that are overpriced and don't get hired are the ones that charge for estimates.
Their work might be good, but I don't and won't ever know. To their credit, they were fast and would be good for emergencies, but I felt I wasted $50 and that left a bad taste in my mouth. I don't care for their business model and still question their prices. Nothing wrong with paying for skilled labor, but last time I checked, plumbers don't make more an hour than lawyers, and the vast majority of lawyers I know (and I know a lot) don't charge as much an hour as this company was going to.

If I could give a zero, I would. THIS IS A HORRIBLE REVIEW! On March 17th we had a toilet emergency at 3:30 in the morning where my 6'7 post surgery husband fell and broke the toilet and tank. Water was EVERYWHERE. I called Bailey Bros. and he did not feel it was an emergency and said he would be out between 9am and 11 am.. Needless to say he was late. He barely looked at the toilet and immediately said he would have to remove all the base boards and saw 10 inches up from the floor to check for mold. He promised me he would be back and it would be fixed by 5pm. At 2pm, my husband called him and he said he wasn't coming, probably because I did not fall for his SCAM and BS about the ridiculous repairs he wanted to do after looking at the toilet for 2 seconds.PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SCAM COMPANY YOU WILL GET LIES EXCUSES AND MOST LIKELY A JOB A TWO YEAR OLD COULD PROBABLY DO BETTER ALL HE HAD TO DO IS CALL TEST EMAIL to let us know but when he lost his scam charges he bailed out.

Don't bother with them if you actually need work done. Called this company and had an appointment for 12/22/17. No one showed, no one called. Called back and rescheduled for 1/2/18 after multiple times not being able to reach someone and being directed to a voicemail box that was full. Guess what? Again, no one showed, no one called. Left one more message asking them to make it right and got no response. Maybe they just don't want new customers. Take your business elsewhere and don't waste your time.

We've had them out multiple times to fix sink clogs, leaks, hot water heaters, and they even put in a new waterline for us. Both the GM and the guys who do the work are extremely professional and make you feel like you're in good hands. It's a relief to know that I have a plumber I can count on to provide only the service I need at a reasonable price.
Could not recommend more highly.

Our home warranty company, American Home Shield, automatically assigned Stiwell Plumbing to my case, I requested that they send someone out that knows how to repair oil fired water heaters. The plumber said that it could be repaired & when he came out to repair it the following week, the pipe broke off, so then he said the water heater would have to be replaced. He also told us that it could be at least $700 more than the warranty co. would cover & could take up to 2 weeks to get a new one!! As this was unacceptable, 10 days before Christmas, we pushed for them to move quicker & when the warranty Co. got the price they requested a 2nd opinion due to the exorbitant cost, which I was in agreement with. Stilwell was charging $825 for modifications/code upgrades over & above the cost to replace it, which put the cost of the water heater at $3,790!!! They were charging for the job & charging again with a 2nd charge calling it a modification, they did the same with the original scheduled repair. Since AHS couldn't find another co. to fix it, the warranty co. allowed us the cash value or approved this company to fix it. Some of what they called code upgrades were not code upgrades, they were wrong because I verified this with a county inspector. We called another company at 3pm, they came out at 4:30 the same day & replaced it the next day for $1,000 less & none of the modifications were necessary. I don't know if they were just double billing or the guy was just stupid, but either way, I will never use them again & I have spoken with others who have experienced the same thing, so I know I'm not alone. What a shame.

This company is a big scam. I should not have trusted Jeffrey Muncey and the owner. I paid for a project that was not completed.
Jeff Muncey locked my property and ran away with the keys without completing the project. I had to buy a new lock and pay a locksmith for a new installation. I paid upfront $750 to Valley View Handyman Services for nothing. They are not responding to phone calls or texts. This was a total nightmare but I'll make sure that justice will be served.
I have more details but hope this summary warns others so they can avoid similar cons.
