Courtesy Plumbing & Heating Plumbing Service
My husband and I recently purchased a condo, and as part of our home inspection, the inspector noted the water heater was 17 years old and that we should prioritize getting it replaced. Okay, no problem--I called 3 plumbers as well as Home Depot for quotes.

On the low end (Home Depot) I was quoted just over 2k for a new 40gal heater. On the high end, I was quoted $3200. I decided to go with the middle option, Courtesy Plumbing, which came in around $2600 and included the tank, labor, disposal of the old tank, and modifications to put the tank in per updated codes. Ryan took the call, came out for free to check out the space, and came back a couple days later for the install.

I appreciated that Ryan was transparent, courteous, and diligent. He and his partner got it done correctly and they left no mess or evidence of their work besides my brand new tank. He even did a water pressure test for me after he had some concerns that our pressure was too high. Rather than immediately try to upsell me on a regulator, he got creative and found a way to test the pressure, only to discover that it was actually fine. As a layman myself, I felt reassured that Courtesy was not trying to trick me out of more $.

I also upgraded to the silver client package after they finished the job because I liked them so much. We'll eventually need HVAC work done in here, and I will be calling Courtesy.

Thanks to Ryan, and extra thanks to Courtesy for acknowledging my husband's service as a USMC veteran and offering us a discount.

Save Home Heat Plumbing Service
So very pleased with Save Home Heat! As a newer homeowner, the technicians/plumbers are always happy to answer my numerous questions. No hidden or extra charges. No suggestions to complete unnecessary or value-additive (for them) tasks/add-ons (unlike Plumbline who tried to convince me/pressure me into paying for $2000 worth of cleaning/maintenance for a 21-month old, top-of-the-line HVAC system the previous owner had installed, that I desperately needed and threatened would void my transferred expensive prepaid 10-year warranty if I didn't.... or that I really should get a $3000 upgraded filtration system... etc etc etc. I hate Plumbline.). The annual maintenance package actually includes what it says it will. Wow! (Whereas Plumbline removed my filter because it was dirty but did not replace it...). When I had an error code, they made a note of it and fixed it during my annual maintenance appointment (as it wasn't critical--Plumbline tried to charge me to have a tech come check on it right away and a diagnostic fee on top of whatever it would have cost to repair it!). Anyway, I can't recommend Save Home Heat enough. Plus they are punctual and always very friendly to my somewhat confused, trying-to-help puppy.

Jim Needham Heating Cooling Plumbing and Drain Plumbing Service
I needed a plumber to reroute the main water shutoff in my home.   What I got was the single most professional, efficient and friendly plumber I've ever met.  The job was done quickly, cleanly, and for a fair price, and as a bonus, he was friendly and helpful.  If you need any plumbing services, I can't recommend Jim Needham Plumbing high enough.

This past Colorado snow storm my furnace would not stop blowing cold air. I called even though it was a Sunday and got to talk to their after hours technician. Rico was the most helpful tech I have ever experienced. He talked me through the process to fix my furnace over the phone and was super patient and understanding. Rico is the man! Give this guy a raise.

Conifer Plumbing Heating & Drain Cleaning Plumbing Service
Great company.  I had CPH&D come in for a whole house plumbing install and hookup of a toilet, sink and bathtub in a new bathroom.  The techs (Shane and Michael) were always on time, very friendly, and did excellent work and very thorough and careful as I had provided the vanity (expensive recycled wood), sink (hammered copper), faucet, toilet and bathtub (claw foot) and none of those would have been considered cheap at least to me, so I was concerned about any potential damage during the installation of those items.  Not a problem.  I highly recommend these guys and very pleased with their work!  Thanks guys!

Adams Plumbing & Heating Plumbing Service
Had Adam's Plumbing put 4 shower handles in my home. I had the materials and the old material had been removed. On the first visit they (2 plumbers!)  could only install one handle as I needed more parts and the holes in the wall needed to be enlarged. I took care of each issue. For less than 1 hour work, they billed me $175. On visit 2 they sent 2 people to do the rest of the job (3 handles) and charged $250 dollars. The plumbers spent over 30 minutes trying to figure out how the system worked and I was charged for their confusion. Total bill was $425 for 4 handles. Please read the other reviews and take caution before hiring this company. The trip charge to the job starts out at $125.

My brother-in-law had to replace some rusted pipes, and as a result disconnected the dishwasher.  He was missing parts, Home Depot was closed, and I had an appointment in the morning with a plumber so I kept the appointment to finish the job which consisted of installing a p trap and reconnecting the dishwasher.  I was quoted $864 to install a P-trap and reconnect the dishwasher.  The plumber said there is no other way to connect the dishwasher until I asked, how it had been working just fine a week before.  Then he quotes $150.  That is still way too much.  He kept trying to tell me I was wrong and that the dishwasher couldn't be reconnected.

Needless to say $15 dollars and 5 minutes more of labor my brother in law took care of it.  It is not worth the money to get things done a few hours sooner.

Bought new water heater, First time they brought wrong size (totally wrong water heater from one that was purchased), second one leaked from bottom, third one didn't work for over 30 hours (i had no hot water) until they fixed a fuse problem. Failed inspection from city twice, whole ordeal lasted over a month of having to be here to let them in and the city inspectors in. Would not recommend this company for any water heater situations.

Plumbline Services Plumbing Service
UPDATE to 6/19 review:  The City of Arvada's inspectors just left my home and Plumbline Services failed inspection for the HVAC as well as the tankless units.  The Electrical inspector was so dissatisified with the results of what he saw that he stopped the inspection before he finished and demanded that Plumbline send the electrician who did the work out along with his license information.  They failed what the inspector called a very big deal issue with plumbing - the gas line going to provide 390,000BTUs to the Eternal units is far too small and must be replaced for them to be installed to code.

UPDATE to 6/10 review.  Plumbline has proven to be very crafty in how they conduct business when things go terribly wrong.  See my previous review on 6/10 to learn the back-story.  This follow-up is after interacting with Bob Logan (service manager) and Plubline's Controller (I still am unsure of his name because he didn't have the consideration to not use speakerphone both during his two minute rambling of a voice mail as well as when I called him back).

After the incident that left my home with nearly $20,000 in damage due to flooding, damaged stucco, etc.. Plumbline immediately sprang to action on my behalf - or so I thought.  Bob Logan expressed his deepest symphathies with what had transpired, assured me that Plumbline takes their reputation extraordinarily seriously, and would do anything to make the situation right.  At one point during my first couple of phone calls with him he said I'd just cut you a check right now for the damages if I could but it sounds like we've got more than just a few thousand in damages going on there.

Last week I was informed that Plumbline would be involving their insurance company - entirely understandable.  I was asked to provide photos that I had taken of the damage for their company to take a look at.  I was also told to get whoever I needed out to get estimates and the repair work process started to make my home whole again.  I was told I'd hear back from someone as soon as they had talked with the insurance company and knew what would happen next.  In the meantime, Plumbline replaced the motherboard on my Eternal tankless unit (the one they weren't authorized to install in the first place), and then they went silent.

Fast-forward to today - 6/18 - I emailed Bob Logan with some questions surrouding getting damages repaired and the Xcel Energy rebates I should be getting but nobody ever assisted me with.  I specifically asked Bob to call me back on one of two phone numbers.  What happened next was interesting - I received a voicemail on my work telephone number, one that was gleened from my email signature - not the numbers provided for callback - and a two minute voicemail was left with fun words such as we're not admitting fault and then the tables were turned back on me and I was told to go file a claim if I wanted the damages fixed.

I'm now out about $7,000 in up-front cash between deductibles, new plumbers to fix the problems with the tankless units, and a deductible on my homeowner's policy.  We all know what happens next - months and months of back and forth to determine fault.

I spent $22,175 with Plumbline for two Eternal tankless units and a furnace.  I will get to spend an addiitonal $20-30k repairing the damage done to my home.  I welcome anyone with questions regarding my experience to contact me for the full story.  This is obviously one super long and wordy review - for a  reason - I don't want to see ANYONE get taken advantage of by this group again.

The interesting part - I was actually going to go online and write a glowing review of how they handled the problem last week when they told me everything would be ok.  Little did I know they were just buying time for their lawyers and insurance company to come up with a great defense strategy.

Fix-it 24/7 Plumbing, Heating, Air & Electric Plumbing Service
Holidays! An uncle, who might or might not have been drinking, helped us fix a problem with our Nest thermostat on Christmas day. That night, the furnace would not turn on, and it was below zero. Good thing we had a fireplace.

Next day we called around, and since it was Dec 26, most places were closed or couldn't fit in a visit. Fix-it 24/7 answered the call and were there in like an hour. George is the man! Uncle had reattached a wire to the wrong location, which really is the worst sort of problem to trouble-shoot, but they figured it out.

And even though this was an emergency visit at a really weird time, the bill was super reasonable.

Delayed review since we were distracted with holiday madness. For three months, apparently.
