Quoted $700 to install a sink faucet when it only cost me $300 from a trusted plumbing company to get this fixed. Only 2 stars because they were able to come out soon and were quick with communication. Don't let them overcharge you.

****please read this review****do not use these people!!!!!! if i could give zero stars i would. they stood us up on the original date to fix our sink, then charged us close to twice as much as the estimate, totally taking advantage of my girlfriend who was there by herself. please find any other company or do it yourself if you can. total ripoff company.

This company would have received a 5 star review in the past.  I recently called them to look at a leaking sink and a clogged drain.  The plumber wanted $795 for a faucet replacement and $200 to snake a drain.  I no longer trust this business and I will not call them again.  $45 trip charge to provide an overpriced quote?  That's the last $ you will get from me.  I advise you to look around and find a company that can quote a fair price before coming out.  F you squeaks for gouging your repeat customers.

So irate, that I'm finally creating a yelp account.

Admittedly, the techs from Squeaks are magicians. However, their scheduling and dispatch are a mess. A year ago, they had to reschedule on us twice. We let it slide, because the quality of work was so good. Flash forward a year, we scheduled an appointment 3 or 4 weeks in advance. We are in a business that requires a VERY sanitary environment, so when we have plumbing or hvac stuff to deal with, we basically have to shut down until that work is done. Day of appointment, I get a call requesting that we reschedule. Okay, sure, now I'm behind a day on production. No big deal right? New reschedule date comes, get a call that the appointment has to be pushed off to a later time. Later time comes and goes, no call, no tech at my door. So I call, and am presented with excuses of this job was more important, and last week there was a different emergency, and this and that. What is the point in scheduling an appointment in the first place, if the appointments don't even take precedence? I'm now waaaaay behind on production. What would have taken them probably 15 minutes, has easily cost me more than what the bill would have been. Thanks guys! Squeaks has lost a repeat customer. A shame, as we had a laundry list of items that would've had their attention and earned them some $$$. I will not be recommending this company to friends, family, or business associates any longer.

I called Squeaks based on a recommendation from a business management company.  HUGE mistake.  This was on a Friday morning and their technician that came out was courteous and professional.  We received a written quote from him after diagnosing the issue with my floor drain.  The tech said he was going to grab a bite to eat before he was able to continue with his work.  While he was out to lunch he called and said his company was not pleased that he waived the diagnostic fee of $89.95 (even though it was not on his quote) and that he would have to charge that anyway.  I was not pleased obviously.  He called back again after about 45 minutes and said that he was being pulled by Squeaks because there was another emergency that he had to attend to.  That left ME hanging all weekend with a wet floor and without anything fixed.  Squeaks called me to say that they would be back on Monday between 8 & 10 am.  AGAIN, totally UNPROFESSIONAL.  Monday morning, 8:10 am, Squeaks called me to say that they decided that they did not want to service my home.  Had I known that on Friday, I could have had someone else lined up for Monday.   Now I had to scramble to find someone else that could come out that day.  Luckily, I found another company that came out right away and was able to fix my problem and for less money as well.  I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND SQUEAKS TO ANYONE FOR ANY REASON.  THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH.

First, thank you to the service techs that visited my home in a time of distress.  So far everything appears in working order and your work has been great just like your demeanor. As for customer service /billing, the demeanor of office personnel was less impressive.  When I asked billing statements I received different responses each time I spoke with someone.  I felt like I was being brushed off, I felt like they got my $3900.00 they don't want to talk to me anymore. I was told itemized billing and receipts are confidential company records that I as the customer am not privilege to.  So I went to the store to find out what each item costs. Based on all materials listed on the invoice it would appear I have been charged a $700.00 mark up on materials. I did some research I have found items required for the job not listed on the invoice total of $170.00 which leaves a credible mark up of $530.00. This is with all items already rounded up to the simplest dollar amount (after tax amount 6.99 round up to 10.00). In addition to going out to the store and ringing up each of these items, shopping online, and getting quotes from other companies (should an already distressed customer have to do this!!??) I received different estimates (of course after the fact of spending the money due to the emergency situation) up to $900.00 less than what I paid.  This is based on a price with a discount of $165.00 I should have been granted and still have not received. I am sure the pricing of this unexpected disaster would have added up if I was given the documentation I asked for. Why hide it you already got your money!

We had this company come to turn on our swamp cooler for the summer. When the tech arrived he asked me where the water turn on was and when I told him it was in the basement he immediately started going off about how we weren't up to code without looking around our house to figure out that our waterline runs on the outside of the house and we are in fact up to code. The tech then started working, but I just got the sense that he didn't completely understand what he was doing, but decided to trust him. Everything seemed to go smoothly until I went upstairs to turn on the swamp cooler and quickly realized he had forgotten to take out the plastic plates that were used to winterize our swamp cooler. Air couldn't move out of the vent because of this. I called and was told that someone would come remove the plates the next day. An hour before the appointment I got a call saying they would have to cancel and come out tomorrow. I feel they should make this a priority considering they made a mistake. Wouldn't reccomend this company.

We tried to use this company for an urgent concern for a possible burst pipe. At first everyone seemed very nice & professional over the phone, and we were able to make a next-day appointment. However, once it came time for the appointment, it became clear that the correct information was not passed on to the technician and I had to re-provide information that my husband had already provided. This led to a delay in the arrival, which was disappointing since I had arranged my work schedule for the appointment. Finally, the technician claimed to be on their way, but then said they couldn't find parking that worked for their truck. We live in a residential neighborhood with plenty of spacious parking, including plenty for a large truck (I even sent them photos of the available parking spaces). This was a blatant lie. After I became irritated about this lie, the people on the phone were incredibly rude to me and hung up. Very unprofessional, and would never recommend.

Well after today, I will never use this company again. BEWARE! I had scheduled an appointment to meet Inspection requirements for a property sale that was canceled last minute. This was after 2 and a half weeks of calls, location verification and service needs with Squeaks. They have left me in a bind, inconvenienced me, wasted my time and tarnished my reputation with my client. This will never happen again!

I am a realtor and have had clients use Squeaks in the past. They have rescheduled but always finished before. I thought they were good and would be reliable. Well, today, I was shut down. I have a rural property in Byers that needed water heater service and furnace inspection. I verified over 2 weeks ago that they service this area, and I asked each time I have called to confirm this was not a problem. I agreed to pay a trip charge to go here, that was reasonable. I requested additional information about Water Heater service a few times as well and never received calls back, but I still was able to get an appointment after two more follow-up calls to them. I then verified my appointment two days ago and made sure they knew the address and even gave them directions.

This morning, I drove to the property to meet them. It is an hour each way from my office, no one showed up or called. After an hour past the original appointment time, I called to check and they said the technician was coming later this afternoon due to an emergency repair. That's fine, a phone call before my long drive to the property would have been nice. I had other appointments this afternoon. But then, an hour and a half before the revised appointment time, I receive a call that they do not service Byers and I will have to call a local HVAC/plumber instead. I already spent hours calling around last month, researching & verifying the best situation for my client and local HVAC/plumber were overcharging for minimal work with poor reviews. Now I am screwed and I get to tell my client how I have messed up trusting Squeaks to follow through and honor their promises.

They were inconsiderate, I don't have time but will have to make time to fix this and the manager said she understood my frustration. She is not even close to how much damage has been done here.

Do not even bother with this company. I scheduled an appointment, they said they would call. No call before the scheduled time, so we tried to call them. Their voice mail box was full Cherilyn Johnson was the rep. No show. WE sent an email, received an apology, and scheduled another appointment. Still  same thing, no show, no call, could not leave a voice mail.

They replied: Squeaks Services I'm sorry you feel this way David, we have made several attempts on several days to contact your wife to set the appointment as you requested with no response. As well as trying to contact you today. We would be more than happy to help once we can confirm a time to meet someone. Please call the office or call back any of the numbers left on your voicemails please so we may resolve this.

My answer: Seriously ? Look at your statement, Sorry you feel this way... You blame your concept of customer service on ME, instead of yourself. The first rule in Customer Service, is take responsibility for your mistake. Instead of pushing it off on the customer. There was no messages, and you know it. My wife took time of WORK to meet you, you could not even give a decent range of time that you would show up, or call. YOUR VOICE MAIL WAS FULL FOR TWO DAYS, ()and I am not even going to waste my time to check it. ) THERE WAS NO WAY TO REACH YOU. WE CALLED YOU WHEN YOU DID NOT LEAVE MESSAGES YOUR VOICE MAIL BOX WAS FULL !!!
What I really find incredible is that the owner has not even got involved in this, It is evident the staff is hiding these problems from him, or he just doesn't care. I wonder how many of these Good Reviews are real. And look at their final, statement, Please call the office .... There were no voicemails left, and the only thing through emails was a pathetic plea from Cherilyn Johnson, to the staff at the company, blaming the whole problem on me. I never, ever, ever, write reviews, good or bad about a company, as it takes up too much of my time, and there are so many bogus good reviews . I made an exception with this company. Ask you self this, is it really worth my time to EVEN try with this company. I know I am done with them, even if they offered me a free service, since the can't admit they made a mistake. Note that I gave them a 2nd chance after they missed the first appointment. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, and they still could not perform

Bought new water heater, First time they brought wrong size (totally wrong water heater from one that was purchased), second one leaked from bottom, third one didn't work for over 30 hours (i had no hot water) until they fixed a fuse problem. Failed inspection from city twice, whole ordeal lasted over a month of having to be here to let them in and the city inspectors in. Would not recommend this company for any water heater situations.

Terrible customer service! I called for an estimate for Furnace and a/c to be replaced. They made me wait 3 times with no show on their end, 3 times they would call at the end of the hour and inform me that their tech cannot make it and I need to reschedule. After the third time of no show I don't want these incompetent people touch a single screw on my HVAC system.

After some previous plumbing work on a bathroom install, when spring hit and we turned on the sprinklers, we found a leak! Prompt response for replacing a faucet late in the day. Justin was quick with communication about the issue and came back first thing this morning to replace the faucet as well a leaking valve.

They were upfront with pricing and the final price was the same as the quoted price. I would use them again.

We woke up one morning not long ago to no heat! The serviceman, Perez, was great! And he was here in just a couple of hours, with a bright smile and covers over his shoes! He tested several possiblities, and found several areas that were failing in our 20 year old furnace. Had $ been an issue, I'm sure he would have done his best to help me out, and keep it going a little longer. Luckily, that was not an issue. He arrived on schedule, early the next morning with a quieter, more efficient model that fit easily into the old space. It was up and running before rush hour.

I needed to have the main sewer line roto-rootered.  The technician arrived on time (the first time), offered options for me to choose. I chose the super flush and line rotorooter.  He had to leave to get the right equipment, was gone for 3 hours, came back w/an assistant, worked for 4 hours trying to clear the line. Ultimately he did not clear the root blockage at the point where my line connected w/the city line. He came back again on Thursday morning (his call on Wed. indicated that he was not confident the line would pass inspection), arrived early, had another assistant, worked for 2 hours and did not clear the line.  The home inspector arrived, all were upset the line still had roots at the same spot, despite several hours of work by Squeaks staff.
I called the office, let them know the line did not pass inspection, requesting that when they came out again that the appropriate equipment be onsite to complete the job. The technician came again on Friday, arrived at 1:20pm, rescoped the line for another 2 hours, then he had to leave again, I presume to get the appropriate equipment.  At this point, he is telling me the line needed to be replaced etc.  That, as we all know, is very expensive and totally unnecessary.
After talking to my realtor, I called the technician and asked him to not do anymore work on the line, in case something adverse happened.  He removed his equipment.
I scheduled with another company, they came on Monday, arrived w/2 staff and a roto-rooter that would handle the job.  It took them 45 min., and they cleared the line.  The line was re-inspected on Thursday and passed.
Ultimately, my experience with Squeaks left a lot to be desired.  The technicians were very courteous, but did not seem to know what to do with a residential line that did not have an outside access valve versus an access in the crawlspace.  I was left with the feeling that I was being duped-all I needed was a roto-rooter of the sewer line, not a whole new line.
AND I have yet to get a copy of the bill-the technician was going to have the office staff type it up and send it electronically.

My contractor set up a free bid with Squeaks Service to install two faucets/vessel sinks. The tech came to my house in a timely manner and was very nice.  The problem was the bid, which came in at $700!  In any event, I was able to get this work done the next day for $200. The bid I was quoted was so expensive and for that reason, I will not be using or recommending this company to anyone.

I recently had a new AC unit installed by Squeaks and was very appreciative of their services! Their crew was friendly and professional, and everybody who I spoke to over the phone and via email was very response. It took a week or so to book my initial appointment, but that seemed pretty average for the middle of summer AC issues. Thank you Squeaks!

Most unprofessional plumbing company I've ever dealt with in 20 years!  We live in a downtown condo building and had a leaky shower.  We had received recommendations from two other owners to use Squeaks.  What a horrible mistake.  The driver called after we waited 45 minutes past our planned time and said he couldn't find parking.  We live downtown surrounded by half filled surface parking lots.  We contacted dispatch who indicated we had to reschedule.  We had cleared our calendars for this appointment and we were told that we'd have to try again.  If you want a plumbing company with any notion of customer service, don't use Squeaks.

I had a pipe that got disconnected from my salon sink when it was moved and there had been a small leak so I contacted Squeaks.  One of their guys was able to come out right away.  When he first looked at the problem he seemed very perplexed where I started to feel uncomfortable.  He kept coming up with scenarios but did not seem confident on what to do.  He then started to name off a bunch of other issues he was noticing which I didn't believe because the sink was not even a year old.  He then said he will go to the truck see if I have a more flexible drain. I watched him out at the truck and he was writing stuff down. He then came back in and told me it would cost $260. I asked for what because he hadn't come up with a solution.  He said he could run to the store to get a flexible drain (in that big truck he apparently didn't have one) then he wanted to replace a couple of other things.  I told him to leave. It was clear to me that he was on commission and was trying to get the bill up for things that did not need to be fixed.  I called another company, they came out and attached the original drain just fine and saw that the silicone around the drain should be rubber and replaced that and it cost $100.

It's been a long time since I experienced service this poor.  I hired these guys to come turn on my swamp cooler and fix a known issue with the water line.  Knowing the water line was compromised, and knowing it ran through the inside of my house, these guys missed countless opportunities to make suggestions and/or avoid what ultimately happened.  When they turned on the water line, water came pouring through the ceiling of my home office.  They immediately accused me of a set up (!!!!!!!!), and completely mis-diagnosed the problem, insisting there were roof issues.   In the end my handyman very easily figured out there was another problem with the water line over my office.  Because the water line wasn't in their plain view, they contend they couldn't possibly have checked it (all they would have had to do is go into the attic).  The truth is they lacked the knowledge, experience, and professionalism to deal with a very basic swamp cooler problem.

When I emailed the owner to make him aware of what had happened,  he responded quite belligerently,  refusing to own up to any mistakes that were made - not even apologizing for his employees outrageous accusation that I had set them up.  Even went as far as to chastise me for getting unpleasant with his employees while water poured into my home office, as they had just accused me of a set up, all the while completely wrong about what the root cause of the problem was.

If there's any chance your job would require more than just the press of a button, please hire someone else for your job.  Larry, the owner, needs to take responsibility for his staff and provide some basic training to them on the basics of HVAC systems and best practices.  And he himself needs to take a course on basic customer service...

I have used Squeaks in the past for service. My A/C unit finally died so I called Squeaks. They emailed me my quote with good, better and best units for me to choose from. I chose the unit that was within my budget and two days later they did the work. They don't use scare tactics or high pressure sales to get you to spend more money on a unit that isn't needed for your home. My appt. was between 8-9 and they were there at 8 on the dot. Perez and another tech explained what they were going to be doing and quickly got to work. I asked a few questions about my new condensing unit and coil and they explained how the new system worked compared to my old one. Before I knew it they were done and had our a/c up and running. The final bill was exactly what they quoted me and they made sure we had all the manuals and paperwork that came with our new unit. I will always call Squeaks first for my heating and a/c needs.

Beware!!!   Beware Beware!!!
Had an issue with the stopper in an old 1932 tub.  IT  would not drain well then stopped.    Larry their  plumber and OWNER said the only way to retrieve the damaged stopper was to cut open the pipe and get it from below, as it broke free from the mechanism that moves it up and down and it was stuck in the drain below.

In this case that would require him to DEMO wood flooring of recently refinished floors.   I repeatedly asked him if there was any way to get the drain open without cutting into the pipe and ruining the floor and Larry  repeatedly said no and it could not be fixed.  The stopper could not be removed and due to the age of the pipes the floor would have to be removed.  He gave a whole song and dance of BS  reasons why.

Well after he left we took the information he gave us and put a hanger in the drain and removed the stopper in less than 15 seconds.    This company would rather charge 2000 dollars and tear up a hardwood floor than perform a simple task.     This is the type of company that gives plumbers a bad name.
Shame on you guys!

I had Squeaks Services out earlier this year to repair an A/C unit that had mysteriously stopped working. They misdiagnosed the problem several times, and each time we called them to come back and do the repair properly, they wouldn't call back for weeks. I would call them over and over, and the poor receptionist kept assuring me that a technician would call me back and apologize for the delay. The whole ordeal spanned months, and they tried on several occasions to charge me for unnecessary repairs. In the end, they fixed the problem, but their incompetence and painfully slow service was unacceptable.
Now, a few months later, my furnace is not working, and I suspect it has something to do with the wiring they did earlier this year. I called them to come look at it, and the receptionist assured me a technician would call me back to make an appointment that day. Well, surprise surprise, no one ever called me back. And I gave them my home and cell number, so there's no excuse. It's been a week now, and they have not attempted to contact me. Their complete lack of customer service, skill, and competence makes me say, don't use Squeaks Services. Just save yourself the headache and use literally anyone else.

Squeaks plumbing  was terrible and unscrupulous. I would highly caution anyone with a plumbing concern to not use Squeaks plumbing company. They charged me $4,400.00 to repair a leak in my basement which was worse after the repair. Squeaks came out and informed me their repair was good and the worsening leak was another problem. I had another plumbing company provide a second opinion and they suspect that there never was a problem where Squeaks did the repair

Squeaks ran a camera twice then told me that they did not have the recordings as the camera was not working. They did charge me for the camera and video and told me they would send me the videos. I believe they did a $4,400 repair that was not needed and now are not sharing the videos that would show the scam.
Do not use this company if you want honest, quality care.

Be very careful.  Get a solid quote for anything you need done, in writing, beforehand. And beware when they start mentioning all the problems they have found and shaking their heads. I called about a furnace issue, thought i was paying 65$ for a diagnostic and was billed 170$. I was told I needed a new furnace or at least a 1300$ repair. I called Ohh-Zone Heating for a second opinion and they fixed the problem immediately- installed a new digital thermostat and did a complete diagnostic of the furnace and gave it the all-okay for less money!

After searching many companies and receiving multiple quotes through Home Advisor and Yelp, Squeaks was fast to respond, friendly, and showed up exactly when they said they would. Their Technician, Steven Scurlock, was top notch. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable and fixed our problem with no issues. Steven also took the time to practice Covid-19 safety guidelines. Highly recommend!

I had someone come by within a couple hours for a free estimate. He checked everything thoroughly and was very honest and informative. I will call Squeaks next time I need a plumber.

Ray came to our home right away. We had 1 water heater burst and flooded our basement and let us know the other one was about to go. He replaced both of them in a timely manner  so we could have someone come and extract the water that flooded. They gave us a good deal and Ray was very clean, nice, efficient and funny. He made us feel good in a bad situation. Highly recommend

The price this company quoted me over the phone, and agreed to by a second person during a second telephone call was wrong according to their billing person. The price the service technician quoted me in person for a procedure was also wrong when it came time to pay up.  Their policy for rolling the cost of the visit into the work performed changed depending on who you spoke to at the company.  The correct prices of course were 50-150% higher than I was told when I agreed to have the work done.  And classically, the service technician wouldn't do what I asked until he first slowly performed many other time-killing inspections which could then of course be billed.  Took this company twice the time that another company did for the same service.  I can't believe this place is even licensed.

Wow!! What an amazing job thank you all so much! We recently had a huge gas job in Golden at a property and without this company we would have been really screwed. I also want to say that Larry Benavidez really ran an amazing crew and got the job done. Larry is an amazing asset to your company and I highly recommend Squeaks!!!

I had 2 clogged drains and needed help fast.   Larry responded to my questions very quickly and sent a technician out the next day.    Mikey, my technician, was professional and quick.   Overall I am very satisfied with my service and would use them again for future

Update May 2020- I see Squeaks again for replacing a spigot in my back years that was faulty and leaking.   Again I had professional service, quick response, excellent pricing, and fantastic service.    Thank you AGAIN!

I will use them in the future and will recommend them to friends.

very expensive.  I had emergency plumbing work completed.  It should have totaled no more than 1,200. it coat 4,000.  If you are on budget I would not recommend this company for plumbing.

I am a retired real estate broker of over thirty years in the business and I have used many plumbing services over the course. I have never had better service and quality repair than I have received from Squeaks Plumbing Service. We had a main water valve problem and Squeaks Plumbing replaced the valve for us, this involved having Denver Water shut off the water at the main and coordinating a complete effort to get this task accomplished. No other plumbing company that we called wanted to get involved with the complicated job that was involved. Squeaks did the job and only charged us for the replacement of the valve and not for their time to coordinate the effort that was involved. I would highly recommend Squeaks Plumbing to anyone who needs plumbing repair.

We recently had Squeaks, formally Colorado Heating Cooling, come out and help us get our air conditioning unit up and running, as it wouldn't start up. It turns out we had squirrels eat through some wiring. We had them replace some wiring from the furnace to the outside AC unit. Within a week we had our roof replaced and after 10 days, 4 phone calls, and one missed appointment Squeaks finally came back to give a quote to make the wiring that goes outside to air conditioning meet the code for the roof inspection. They said that the squirrels had also eaten through the water pump wiring that removes the condensation from the furnace and quoted $1200 for a new pump and new wiring. The 10 day delay was alarming, the fact that they didn't look at all the wiring the first time around was disappointing, and the excessive quote was just too much. We got a second quote and got new pump and fixed the wiring for only $450.

Update to my one-star 11-28-20 review of Squeaks. It is Feb. 14, 2021, and MINUS 6 DEGREES outside. Yesterday it was MINUS 2. And guess what: NO HEAT. That's right. NO HEAT. Whatever the Squawks technician did in late November to fix a malfunctioning heater DID NOT LAST. The incompetent, emotionless robot only made a temporary fix. A competent person would've made the heater barrel through this Arctic blast. I've contacted the property management and HOA about this and am urging them to find a NEW company to fix the furnace.

We can recommend Travis, a service technician at Squeaks. We have used him more than once. Support this company by asking for Travis and getting the service and expertise you want.

Bought a new unit from this company with warranties on parts and labor. At 3.5 years my motor was running really loud and dripping water into the system. I had another ac company come out and they stated the install was done poorly. I couldn't find my labor paperwork at this time. I called this company they stated they did not have it on file. The tech called and explained the same. They told me I had 1 year warranty because that's what they give on labor. They said they found it and sent me a invoice without my signature on it stating 1 year on labor. I found my paperwork It actually stated 3 years labor warranty. I would not trust this company and I would not recommend them. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!  I asked to speak to a manger and they refused to call me! They told me I was over reacting! Spend your money with another company!
Please see conversation with owner in picture as you can see he does not care about customers.

I called to get my furnace fixed.  They arrived on time. I  had been told buy another furnace company that I needed a new furnace-that my furnace was so expensive to repair it would just be better to buy a new one. Larry came out from Colorado Heating Cooling and repaired my furnace for $60. I would definitely recommend them.
