Best Water Damage Restoration in Honolulu HI

I have a rental property the tenant called saying the shower was leaking. I had this contractor go take a look and told me that the whole shower needed to be ripped out and replaced and that it was going to cost anywhere 3-5K. I did some YouTube research and bought less than $50 worth if supplies from Home Depot. I was able to fix the leak in a hour. Beware.

We had a leak in our unit a while back and called Waialae Plumbing. Actually we didn't call, but our property manager did. The guy that came was very nice, but didn't come at the time that was told to us. He also took pretty long, but in the end it was ok.

So our shower head was leaking and leaking quite a bit, called leaks r us and got an appt by the next morning. Tim came out and did a great job. Not only professional but friendly and explained everything. I'll definitely use this business again!

I used Handy Andy Hawaii to complete 4 small jobs: 1) Replace the disposal, 2) replace shower fixtures, 3) repair a leaking toilet, and 4) replace a microwave. My conclusion is that this company does good work at a fair price.

I received prompt and reasonable quotes for each job (which included purchase of the appliances). Another company sent a non-itemized quote that was 40% higher!

Handy Andy has experienced handymen mentoring novices - a great model to give people the opportunity to develop skills.

I especially want to commend Joe for going the extra mile to stop the toilet from leaking. This was an unusual problem that required 3 visits to resolve. Joe was diligent in getting the job done, even checking things on his day off.

One thing to be aware of is that the customer needs to be flexible about timing, as an earlier job may take longer than expected, etc.

Eddie Cordes was friendly, neat and clean, respectful and most of all effective! Our kitchen sink backed up 6 days ago. We called another plumbing company, who came out twice to snake the drain and even sent down a camera, but were unsuccessful in clearing the clog. They kept hitting a hard stop at about 20 ft. in and couldn't go any further. When they suggested we cap that line and cut through our concrete to lay an external drain line for an exorbitant price, we called Roto-Rooter for a 2nd opinion. We called at about 1:30 pm today and Eddie arrived at about 3:30 pm.

Eddie pointed out that sending a camera down, doesn't necessarily fix the problem. Plus, there was water sitting in the pipe now even though we hadn't run any water down the drain for 6 days, so there would be poor visibility anyway. Once you see what's wrong, you still have to go in and clear it somehow. That made sense. He used 2 different sized augers. Small one at first. He ran into the hard stop too, probably a joint, but he kept working it until he noticed it went a little further, like 30 ft. Then he used a larger coil that was longer - 90ft. He kept working it through another hard stop until it finally pushed through freely at about 70 ft! Hooray!

Thanks to Eddie we can use our kitchen sink again! And we didn't have to empty our savings! Eddie worked on our sink as if it was his own. It's so hard to find someone with both expertise and heart. We really scored when Roto-Rooter sent us Eddie. By about 5 to 530 he had cleaned everything up so nice and neat. We couldn't be happier!

It took Diamond head plumbing more then five months to wakeup and start paying more attention to customer service.  If you are now responding to my review, you definitely need help.  So let me help you out:

1) Yes I am aware of your 90 day parts and labor warranty.

2) If you look at my invoice, you supplied the wax ring with a 1 year manufacture warranty.

3) Home Depot sells a wax ring with a 5 year manufacture warranty.  Maybe you should go with that brand as to a cheaper brand with 1 year manufacture warranty?

4) Since you installed a cheaper brand with a 1 year manufacture warranty I would suggest working something out with the customer to keep them happy.  I'm not saying do it for free, but maybe some kind of discount.  You do that math [happy customer = return customer = customer refers].  In your case [pissed off customer = loss of sales!]  Look at the big picture!
