I called Ben when I needed the bottom of my undersink cabinet in the kitchen replaced because it had warped from water damage.  I've had a few estimates done and Ben's price was pretty reasonable.  I decided to go with Ben because he had a pretty darn good review here on yelp, plus he also happened to be available to do it the same day.  He did a really nice job on replacing the particle board bottom of the undersink cabinet--he even cut out the pipe areas really nicely and fitted them back and caulked all the way around.  I was really happy when it was done because it looked like it was brand new (5 stars there)!  One problem:  Upon my final inspection of the job, I noticed two of the wood screws came protruding out the other side of the kitchen island!  When I pointed it out to Ben, he felt bad about it because he had thought there would be molding on the other side.  So, he spent Sunday going to Home Depot to find a matching maple molding, stain it the right shade to match my island and on Monday, Ben shows up with the molding and did a quick install/caulk.  He was apologetic of the situation and offered no additional cost for the molding and the labor.  

I took away a star because, overall, the job turned out a bit longer than I had anticipated . However, because Ben showed me that he will do the customer right in the end (plus, my kitchen island looks even better than it did before with the additional molding!), I maintain my 4-star rating for BLS Carpentry.

Awesome service.  Ed was out within 90 minutes to fix a gushing fountain of a leak, made all the coordination with tenants easy and made the repair quickly and at a very reasonable cost.  Very much appreciate his quick and reliable work

I have to say that I've used many contractors for various jobs including complete kitchen reno, complete install of wood flooring, new cmu tile wall, major structural work, new bathroom reno, pv and AC install and complete reroofing. Lin construction is among the best we have worked with. Lin personally oversees the work. He is detail oriented and takes pride in his work. We had a unusual situation with our new fence abutting our neighbors control panel and Lin suggested a solution and all parties were happy with the result. The final product is above our expectations. I can say that I finally have found a contractor who is quality and I will definitely be working with him on all my future projects.

So our shower head was leaking and leaking quite a bit, called leaks r us and got an appt by the next morning. Tim came out and did a great job. Not only professional but friendly and explained everything. I'll definitely use this business again!

I have a rental property the tenant called saying the shower was leaking. I had this contractor go take a look and told me that the whole shower needed to be ripped out and replaced and that it was going to cost anywhere 3-5K. I did some YouTube research and bought less than $50 worth if supplies from Home Depot. I was able to fix the leak in a hour. Beware.

Faced with my 87 year old moms 40 year old bathrooms needing massive remodeling, I set out to get bids. Bonded, insured, experienced! my mom kept saying. No (effing) around! (she has the mouth of a sailor. Its adorable.), Four bids later, we chose Waialae, and are so extremely pleased with the work they did! On time, on budget, polite and tidy crew. They ripped out and replaced everything - even the walls - and the new bathrooms are simply gorgeous. The owner, John, kept us informed every step of the way, always responsive to emails and phone calls, even nights and weekends. This is a great company, found after much searching. When the great flood came, it was these brave heroes who came to our rescue.
When we were deceived by the property plans of old it was these brave men that searched the wilderness of my yard for the main flood gates to halt the flow of water.
In the darkest hours when the sun set and the moon rose and the night air began to chill, they persevered.
When we asked them questions, they provided knowledge.
When we began to lose hope, they continued the quest.
And they did all this with a smile and good cheer!

In all seriousness, these guys are awesome!
