Reviews
Can't say enough about Danny. He went above and beyond when he was out here. Only one in three times to figure out what was going on with spigots outside. No one else has ever bothered to actually take them off. Appreciate the extra thoroughness.
Did a great job on an install for a sink. Informative about when he would be here and good communication. Just a friendly caring vibe about him. Appreciate that!

True plumbing did some work for me back in January 2018 that completely exceeded my expectations. Unfortunately, I misplaced my payment invoice, so I didn't have the contact information to write the review. It was so important to me that I tore my house apart looking for it, and I've finally found it. Now, I don't normally write reviews, but Tyler from True plumbing went way above and beyond with both his time and expertise. In addition, he cut me an excellent deal, and I paid about a 1\4 of what I would have paid a larger plumbing company.
Tyler had quite a time finding the outlet valve, or the spot where the inside pipes connect to the sewer line. (We live in a modu!ar home.)
He ended up not only pulling out a toilet, but removing 8 of our deck boards then crawling around underneath the house. He located the valve and had our main line backup fixed in no time. He ended up being here for about three hours. I expected to pay MUCH more than he charged. It's so refreshing to find an ethical, honest and trustworthy business in todays climate. As long as True plumbing is around, they will have my business! Thanks again Tyler for an excellent job at a more than fair price.

PROMPT!!!
I had an emergency in the evening on a weekend day. They responded VERY quickly and were VERY reasonably priced. The tech explained to me how to prevent the same issue in the future and how to make a more long term repair and that He would be more than happy to come back out and replace the faucets Himself
I was wanting to install an insta-hot in my kitchen. I had contacted True Plumbing about the installation at the recommendation of a friend. We had made an appointment for the install but then the holidays hit and there were missed calls. Long-story-short... Richard from True Plumbing contacted me, apologized for the delay, coordinated the counter drilling, and had the device installed the next day... at a discounted rate because of the scheduling SNAFU. It wasn't a typical easy install and Richard made it all work flawlessly. Top-notch service, excellent customer service and a great price. Thank you Richard!

I rarely leave reviews but feel the need to on this one. Like another customer, I was shocked by my bill. I believe my hourly rate ended up to be over $400 an hour. Yes, it was an emergency call as my pressure valve in my yard failed. But seriously a $1200 bill for maybe 3 hours of work? I'd think twice before I would use this company. I will note that the technician did a good job, and I have no complaints with him. However, that rate is excessive. Shop around.
These guys were great. They came in in the morning and they were done early afternoon. They laid tarps down on my carpet. They cleaned up their mess very well in the bathroom and the kitchen. Again an excellent job.
I don't know whether to blame myself or True Plumbing but either way be careful here with your money.
I had used them before and was very pleased with the friendliness, professional approach, knowledge, price all the good things you would expect.
I asked them to come out and do some more work without asking any other contractors for a bid knowing the job was relatively straight forward. When they got to the house I was presented with how much they were going to charge for the job, without even looking at the job first. Tyler had told his guy to give that to me, so I don't blame the guy who came out. He was doing what he was told. I said OK and signed off on it. In my mind I thought wow that is a little high, but there must be more to this than I thought, perhaps in time or additional parts and it is going to take a three or four hours for that price. I was also under a time crunch to get the work done, so I was not in a position to go out and say, well - that seems a little high I'm going to hold off and see if I can get it done cheaper. They were already there and I hadn't seen an estimated price before their arrival. I had assumed, before they came out, they would charge by the hour and let me know how much when they were done. I expected to see an itemized bill for time and materials when they were done.
The plumber was done in under an hour. I thought wow, I really just took it in the shorts here. I didn't complain and paid. What should have happened is the work I signed off for in advance should have been a not to exceed price and when the job was done bill for the true hourly rate they normally charge. In reality I paid over $500 an hour and that does not include the $70 in parts which was in addition to the $500. If I throw in travel time or the service call rate OK, that could bring it down to under $400 an hour but still something north of $300 an hour. This is not ethical by any means. Now I could blame myself for not going and getting bids, but this was a small job, Tyler had done work for me before and why waste my time and other plumbers time to coordinate bids on such a small job. With business ethics like this it forces one to have to get bids and waste everyone's time in the future and doesn't give the plumbing business as a whole a good reputation if one has to resort to bidding every little job. I also thought because I had used them before I would be charged a fair amount like I was the first time and had found a plumber I could trust. Needless to say I will never use them again, anyone else is likely cheaper and I won't be recommending them. In retrospect I should have handled this differently and I'm disappointed that in the future I can't trust people to do the right thing and have to jump through extra hoops to be treated fairly.
The plumber who came out was extremely nice, friendly, courteous and knew what he was doing. He did the job very well. Tyler was great on the phone when I had contacted him about doing the job. I have zero complaints about their work, their friendliness.
Bottom line, watch yourself here and don't agree to the job price if it doesn't sit right. Plumbers are not people you should have to haggle a price with as if you are in a flea market.
I need to review True Plumbing again. Danny came out today to replace the water supply valves under the toilets in both bathrooms. He arrived on time, wearing a mask. The work was done efficiently, and there was no mess! I highly recommend True Plumbing. Thanks Danny!
