Very helpful for installation of new gas line for an outdoor grill. Quote was straightforward, they handled all permitting and coordination of inspections, and the work was performed in a timely, professional manner. Would recommend Rene and consider working with him again in the future.

We have some plumbing issues in our laundry room and the pipe that connects to the washer gets clogged often.  We've had Rene out a few times to help with this and a few other plumbing issues we've had.  He is always able to fix the issue, does a great job, and is very professional.  We will be happy to use his services in the future and will definitely recommend him to our family and friends!

Finishing the dishes after dinner and turned on the garbage disposal.  When I ran the water afterward, it backed up into the sink.  After hubby used our very small snake and was unable to clear it, a sense of dread set in.  This problem occurred Thursday evening and seemed that it would be more than a quick snake of the pipes.  Using the Yelp feature that sends messages to local (in this case) plumbers to get someone out to the house (we were scheduled to go out of town Friday afternoon), Rene reached out and was at the house by 10 AM.  He had to leave after a couple of hours for another job, and returned Saturday with his brother to replace the problem pipe (side note:  we live in a town house.  The person who designed the plumbing failed efficiency and logic 101.)  Several cuts in the drywall and a spliced pipe later, we had water.

We decided to replace the entire routing of the pipe from kitchen to street with wider pipe and scheduled Rene to come back in a few days.  We had to go out of town on a family emergency and Rene had the added burden of moving all our bicycles and stuff in the way, since we could not do it.  No complaints.  

We also hired them to restore the drywall and paint. Excellent work!  You cannot tell anything was ever cut.

When we redo our bathrooms - I know who to call.  These guys are great AND affordable.

I have used R Plumber since 2019 from when lived in our townhouse...first time I had issue with water leak from upstairs bathroom and water leaking onto living room ceiling...other plumbers were quoting me higher pricing. R plumber did a superb job and their quote included sealing the ceiling drywall section that needed to be removed to access plumbing pipes.

2nd time around, now in our single family home, I had an issue at beginning of 2022 with upstairs shower plumbing pipe Leaking water onto kitchen ceiling. Once again, R Plumber send their top plumber - Luis - and he did an outstanding job removing one tile from recently renovated master bathroom without damaging tile (we didn't have extra tiles since we had recently moved in and prior owner didn't leave spare tiles). Fortunately the tile price was salvageable and the leak was fixed and I was able to use same tile to seal everything back.

Third time, my water heater valve and water pressure Valve were replaced since it was time to replace due to age of water heater and issues with water pressure. Once again, R plumber did a great job and came back after installation within a week to ensure pressure issues I had previously were gone.

Highly recommend R Plumber for any plumbing issue! He's is honest and if they can't do the work when it's non-plumbing issue they will recommend other reliable contractors. Hard to find reliable and honest contractors.

I truly can't say enough wonderful things about Rene and his crew. We've had them out twice to do work for us - the first time to replace a drop in sink. The sink project ending up being MUCH more complicated than we expected, the crew must have spent nearly 10 hours working on what should have been a pretty straight forward project. They truly went above and beyond to get the project done right for us. By the end of the day they felt like friends! I couldn't thank them enough for everything they did, and for very reasonable rates.

The second time they came out and replaced several of the shut offs for our hoses and the shut off on our water main, and replaced a shower valve that had gone bad. I am always totally blown away by their professionalism and work.

We plan to use them again when we remodel our kitchen to relocate a sink and and repipe some work that was done incorrectly before we moved in! We have our plumber for life!!

This is the best plumbing service I have ever used. I recommend them to all of my friends. The are fast and affordable. They do all kind of work. Really talented people!

We are moving our washer/dryer from the main floor to the basement. R Plumber not only gave us the best price but the best vibe. They came in last week to complete the work. It took them about 6 hours and it looks great. They even ran to Home Depot to get 1x2 boards to make sure it was done correctly and did not charge us any extra. I've used different plumbers in the past and have never been satisfied.  R Plumber is a family owned company. They really easy to work with and now our go to plumber.

Super responsive and wrapped his initial inspection's cost into the final repairs bill, saving us beaucoup bucks.  He came early on a Monday to allow for our work schedule (and did not exaggerate the problem to get a weekend repair rate), his guys did great work unmonitored, and he came in the late evening for a final walk through, indulging all my worries and questions.  A great company and, though the leak and basement flooding was a pain, I feel like I hit the jackpot with finding Rene and his team.

I called with some questions about a weird plumbing situation in an old 50's house. I do most of the plumbing myself in our house but we have an original floor drain that ties in with the foundation weep tile and then goes into the sanitary sewer. The week tile had tons of critters growing in the old seemingly inactive pipes and I wasn't sure if it would be safe to cap them.

Rene stopped by after working on another job and was able to talk me through what the pipes (used to) do and whether or not it would be safe to cap them. We wound up not needing any work and he had a solid recommendation of how to deal with the inactive pipesqq aww a

If you have a complicated plumbing job or remodel R-Plumber is the company for you. Rene worked with me on price and his team was courteous, professional, always on time, and took special care and attention to keep my house clean. I had a major re plumbing job to run new water pipes through the walls to my kitchen, a job few plumbers even wanted to bid on. When the original plan for my job turned out not to be feasible the R-Plumber team was able to replan quickly and get the job done. Even though the job was far more complicated and took more time than expected, R-Plumber honored their contract and original price. The work was done with exceptional quality and every special request I made was honored. They even served as general contractor to provide complete drywall service and left my home looking like they'd never been there.  I have since had a separate issue with a leaky pipe in a wall and R-Plumber was able to diagnose and fix very quickly. R-Plumber is now my only plumber and should be yours too.

Rene has been out to my condo twice to resolve problems, from installing a new hot water heater to fixing a broken toilet. In both cases, he and his team were friendly, efficient, and resolved my problems effectively. His prices were very reasonable, and I was very happy with the service. I will be calling R-Plumber in the future for any of my plumbing needs.

As first time homeowners, we were hesitant to begin the process of converting our electric stove to gas.  After careful research and based on the reviews, my husband hired R-Plumber for the job.

Well, suffice to say we now have permanent plumber!  Rene and his crew were awesome!  Professional, extremely knowledgeable...we had no idea of permits and inspections, but Rene did.  The job was completed when they said it would be, at the price they quoted.  They even went out of their way to assist us in working a solution to a problem that arose when we installed our new cook top (our fault, the size of the cook top was off; the installation was perfect).  Then, when they were finished installing the gas pipes, I was impressed again by the patch job on the dry wall...it is barely noticeable!  A little paint and no one will know any work was done.  We already have plans for more jobs with them.  

I absolutely, highly recommend you hire R-Plumber for ALL your plumbing jobs.  You will NOT regret it.

Rene and his team ran a gas line from my meter to the back of my house.  Total run was about 100'.  Everything about the job was smooth and professional.  Rene was able to come and provide me a quote quickly.  He gave me instructions on how to get an upgraded meter from Washington Gas.  He and his guys worked very hard in the hot sun digging the trench and installing the new gas line.  They were all very polite.  They obtained all the permits and completed the inspection with WSSC.  Now we are grilling with fire thanks to Rene and his team.

I had the pleasure of meeting Rene today and I can't say enough good things about him.  He was easy to schedule and arrived right on time, easily diagnosed the problem with the drain for our clothes washer and ended up only charging us a reasonable service call, which was really nice. I completely agree with the other reviewers who said that he's not  trying to upsell anyone: just the opposite if anything.  Completely honest and competent. What more could we ask for?

I am so glad I've taken my time to find good, honest, trustable and fair plumbing company, and I finally found this R-Plumber company. A few months ago, my place had a water leak in the shower on upstairs bathroom and it caused ceiling damage, etc. so I needed to a ceiling drywall repair, bathroom tile repair, CPVC pipes reconnect, water pressure reducer install, etc.

I took my time to compare various popular local plumbing companies in the DMV area and this is, by far, the best I've found due to many reasons:

1. They are licensed, bond, and insured -- They sent me a copy of their license, bond, insurance, and worker compensation. This gave me a relief because I wanted to make sure I hire a professional. You'll need it in case if anything happens.

2. They really care about you and HONEST -- Rene, Luis, his apprentice, and other staff use the best brand and told ,e really honest and professional opinion. I have a limited budget and they told me I can just fix the issue for now. The other companies recommended me to remodel the whole bathroom, which would cost at least $4,000 or much more.

3. Their price is VERY REASONABLE and FAIR -- They do not overcharge at all in compare to other companies in this area. I compared 6 other plumbing companies. Other plumbing companies seem to take advantage of you especially if you don't really know much about plumbing. They either:
- could only offer to fix the plumbing and I had to find my other contractor to repair the tiles and dry wall
- offer me to fix this issue for $4,500 or more
- R Plumber offer me about 40-50% less than other companies.
- another well known company (they were featured in local Costco) gave me a price to fix my sink popup assembly for about $700 but I went to home depot and bought the parts myself for $17.

4. They really guarantee that they carry their work by the correct local regulations and to the high standard. -- you can see the photos for reference.
- I ASKED them a lot of questions and researched the way they do they work online and everything seems to be done very correctly (e.g., using the right glue, chemical for connecting my CPVC pipes, copper pipes)
- They went above and beyond in installing my water pressure reducing pipe by anchoring my water supply pipes so it doesn't get shaky.
- They have 1 year labor warranty. Their shower MOAN is lifetime warranty on parts.

In fact, I am so impressed that I literary have to write my appreciation on various social media in a hope to help others who are in the same situation as me. This company doesn't spend on marketing but just spend on high quality so I'm really trying to help get this company to top review to help others who are in the same boat.

I hardly ever leave reviews but I had to replace some pipe in my HVAC closet and a neighbor recommended this company.  They were at my place the next morning on a Saturday and did a great job for a very reasonable prices, especially in Alexandria.  I'm going to use them again for that pesky drip with my bathtub.  It is so nice to find a plumber as a single professional woman that I don't need to worry is trying to rip me off or talk down to me. Thank you!!

Came recommended by a neighbor, but Rene ghosted on a water heater replacement quote. Who among us has time to ask someone for a quote and hear nothing.

I've used these guys a couple times and am happy with them.  They seem honest and are very reasonable with their pricing.  I had a small gas leak by my cooktop and rather than try to upsell me by telling me the whole line needed to be replaced, they changed out one small part and now it's as good as new.  I would definitely use them again.
One star taken off because we had an appt scheduled for the morning and they didn't show.  Luckily, we were able to reschedule for that afternoon.

More than happy with their service! They respond quickly, arrived on time, very friendly with all the Covid safety mesures. Luis explained different options. They took baby steps to see if they could fix it before doing a big work (opening our ceiling). The price was great, and we can call them back if there is still a problem. Our house is old with old pipes...
