We had good contacts with their office folks. Arrived on time (actually a little ahead), worked diligently to find our leak, which took a little doing and repaired for a more than fair cost. We were recommended to them by a neighbor friend and will do the same for anyone that asks.

We have had an on-going issue with our rear-exit toilet whereby every time we went away from home for an extended period of time, we would come back home to a leaky toilet (thankfully, it wouldn't leak while we were away; only once we used it upon return)! Rear-exit toilets are really difficult to work with, and thanks to Keith Jackson at Crown, we found out why our toilet would leak when we came back. It turns out that the original installers had put in a wax seal, which normally works well with a standard toilet. In our situation, our toilet exit put all the hardware a little closer to exterior of our home; thus, with extended time away (usually during winter break or summer break where temperatures are more extreme), the wax would have an issue whereby it would expand or contract out of shape, since it was more exposed to the weather.

Keith figured this out right away and installed a synthetic ring. He was also aware that we had our bathroom remodeled recently and took great care to make sure we could find a solution that didn't require ripping out the tile that was behind our toilet. After two incidents whereby this happened after other plumbers looked at our situation, we were grateful that Keith diagnosed the problem quickly. We also appreciated that he consulted with others if there was something he wasn't sure about. I would rather have a contractor check out information than guess a solution!

Zak arrived (earlier than expected, which was a nice surprise) and within 30 minutes, he had our drain cleared. He patiently explained the situation he found, how he was going to fix it, and what we could do to prevent recurrences. He even offered to clear an outside drain, a problem that we'd lived with for years.

A very nice woman answered my phone call before the office had fully opened, and after I described the problem, she scheduled Zak to come to my home the same day, describing him as the drain guru. I have to agree with her!

I will use Crown Plumbing in the future and I would recommend them to my friends and family.

Had a washer and dryer delivered the prior day. The delivery service could not hook up the washing machine due to something with the hot and cold water spouts leaking with the new hoses. Called out Crown plumbing and they were able to come the next day.Brian their plumber called 15 minutes before arriving and found out a good solution for my problems. He also came up with an alternative solution in the event he was unable to remove a couple pieces to replace. It took some elbow grease and a blow torch but he was finally able to remove the old pieces from the galvanized pipe. He did a great job and it was worth the knot of money I paid. I will definitely keep you in mind for any future jobs or problems.

I needed a toilet replaced (I purchased), and the faucet on my kitchen sink re-installed as it had come loose. It is unfortunate that plumbers have you over a barrel because it took him under 10 minutes to reinstall the faucet - at a cost of $160. That is $960 per hour. I understand the toilet install being $475 - something I was totally willing to pay someone to do, but the cost of the faucet seems ridiculously excessive.

To rub salt in *that* wound, it isn't even centered, which my Virgo self notices every freaking time I look at it, but I don't want to pay more to get them back out. (And when I mentioned it wasn't centered, the gal asked if I wanted the tech to come out again; I said I couldn't afford it and she did *not* say it would be free, and I don't want another bill.)

So they do perfectly *fine* work, but they are expensive AF.

My water heater had leaked during the night and the sound had woke me up. I found Crown through another plumbing co. that wasn't able to do the work. Joni was great and found time to replace my water heater the exact day that I called. Zak and Phil came to do the work. Very professional. Zak immediately put down plastic to protect the carpet since the heater was upstairs. They knew exactly what needed to be done and did a fine job. I will hire again if the need arises.

They have started a business in Brookings, Oregon. I had Scottie come out to help with our emergency. Our pressure regulator to the house had gone faulty and we were getting water hammer in our pipes. We do not have a lot of plumbers here and they are very busy but Crown Plumbing came to our house right away and fixed our problem. I cannot say enough about how good and nice Scottie was. He really got us out of a bind. He had to drive around to find a new regulator and then came right back to our house and it was replaced in no-time. If you need plumbing done this is the company. Ask for Scottie.

I called someone from another plumbing company for an estimate and someone from Crown Plumbing came instead. This was never mentioned to me beforehand and this seemed like a huge red flag.

The plumber was 45 minutes late to our appointment. He did call 20 minutes after he was supposed to be here to tell us he would be late...but by then we already knew that. Red flag number 2.

When he arrived the plumber tried to tell me the gas line was installed wrong. Luckily our cabinetmaker was on site that day, and he promptly told the plumber that he had done 100 kitchens and had never seen what the plumber was suggesting was required. Red flag number 3.

When their bid finally came in (3 days after they said it would), it was almost DOUBLE the cost of the first bid I received.

Contractors of all types are in such high demand right now that there are many predatory contractors operating in the Portland area. In my opinion, Crown Plumbing is one of them. Steer clear.

Had dripping bathroom faucet I could not fix on my own. Crown quickly determined faucet could not be repaired. Gave me some suggestions on replacement faucets (switched from Am. Standard to Delta). Came back in a couple of days to finish removal of old faucet and installed new one. Only charged for single visit. Brant was professional, personable, and completed the job with no issues. Pricing was reasonable - with a veteran's discount.

I called Crown Plumbing and spoke with Nancy and described the situation we had with a deteriorating walk-in shower that had a leaky faucet. She arranged to have Brian come out in a timely fashion. He checked everything out and left a very detailed potential work order broken down into two distinct parts depending upon what way we chose to go. After we decided what we wanted, we called back and Nancy arranged for Cale to come out to do the work. He is a very personable and professional young man who knew exactly what was required. He did everything quickly and efficiently; in fact, he was done so quickly, and cleaned up so well, we hardly know he'd been here at all. Turns out there was one minor glitch that anyone might not have noticed, and he returned quickly to correct it at no extra cost, just a desire to make everything right. Couldn't ask for more than that. We would definitely use Crown Plumbing again and recommend them highly.

Total remodel of 100 year old farmhouse. Crown replaced most everything from the street into the house. We added a third bathroom on the second floor where there was a closet, I don't know how they did it but they found space to run drains, hot and cold lines and vents. Very helpful and professional workers, we will recommend them to all who ask. Thanks Crown Plumbing!

The owner is really nice but $1000 to swap out a 40 gallon electric water heater? No thanks. They also never got back to me on a quote for installing a tankless water heater outside.

I ended up mostly doing the job myself. I bought a $250 tank from Home Depot and got most of the fittings around $50. After setting it up and having a couple of minor leaks in the new piping, I hired a friend of a friend who is a professional plumber. They fixed the pipes and charged a very reasonable fee for the labor since I had done most of the work already.

So glad we called Crown. We had an older Delta kitchen faucet that needed a part. Delta sent us a completely new faucet which was a nice surprise, and Crown came to the house the same day we called and installed it. They did a great job!!! I would highly recommend them.

Had them come out to repair a leaking garbage disposal and it started leaking again a couple of days later. He then said our faucet couldn't be fixed because the screw was frozen. My husband fixed both issues today and he hates doing plumbing related projects.

Yesterday I had a leaking turn off toilet valve that started to flood my bathroom. Luckily I was able to turn off the main water supply. I didn't think I would be able to get any help because it was already 2.30 pm. I called Crown Plumbing and they sent Travis to the rescue promptly and he fixed the problem and even guided me how to dry up the water in my basement. I am so grateful to Travis and Crown Plumbing!

I would use them again. The plumber was efficient, friendly, and seemed to know what he was doing. That said, the price was on the high side of fair and perhaps over the line. For two very straightforward and simple tasks that took less than an hour to perform, I was charged $360.00 (after a $40 discount because it took about forty-five minutes to do the work). For example, to clear a drain is a flat fee of $200, even though this literally took eleven minutes. I know how much the Milwaukee drain snake costs at Home Depot, so this is basically the rate of a physician. Then again, the plumbing companies know that we are at their mercy, and in the end, I wouldn't call this a totally egregious gouging--just a questionable charge for what was done. But like I said, if I needed a plumber, I'd call Crown again and maybe try negotiating; that gets a little tricky because they have their $150 trip fee that basically neutralizes your negotiating position. I've dealt with horrible plumbers and thankfully these people are not horrible. Could they be better? Yes, they could adjust the charge when it takes very little effort and time to perform that task.

My recommendation is find a different plumbing company. we had our house re-pipe. They left a lot of the old pipes under the house in the crawl space. We called asked them to come back and clean up there mess. They sent someone out to pick up their garbage. The crew still left some sticks of pipe under the house after they came back and cleaned it up. We called them last week because the hose Bib that was installed less than 6 months and hadn't been used.

I had a really nice guy come out to my newly purchased house for some estimates on repairs I needed and agreed to have a few items fixed mostly to see his quality of work before I agree to a total repipe of my house. I had a shower cartridge replaced and a toilet install. I bought the toilet. He sent a guy out to do the repairs and wanted to put in a new shower faucet and I declined and said replace the cartridge and he wanted to charge $375 to install a toilet which I provided. I called back afterwords and wanted to speak to the guy who came out Chris is his name and he never called back. Thanks for the $650 bill and no call back. Good Luck in your future of crappy service.

We did not actually get to experience the quality of work offered by Crown Plumbing, because they did not arrive for our scheduled time. Instead, after waiting 26 hours for the time of the appointment to arrive, we got a call from a Crown plumber saying that our problem sounded like a type of clog they don't fix, so he wasn't going to come. Making us wait for our appointment to arrive to tell us this (after we had already been waiting four days, peeing into buckets, as the flooding happened on a weekend when most of plumbers were closed) was really lousy. Again, this is not a review of the quality of their plumbing work -- we never got any -- just a review of whomever they have taking appointments, who didn't verify that the work we asked for was something they actually do.

My kitchen sink decided to stop draining yesterday. I called Crown because I have used them before and they got me an appointment the next day between 12 and 2pm. All good and well. Literally five minutes later my wife comes in and tells me that the bathroom sink has been draining slow for two months and now its not draining at all. Not enough forehead or hands at this point. Called Crown back and told them to add the bathroom sink being plugged to our order and they said no problem.

This morning, a good two hours sooner than I expected them the plumber showed up. He gave me an estimate for the work and got busy. About an hour later he was done, both sinks were working again and Crown has another happy customer. I cannot stress how happy I am with the work Crown does. Thanks so much to Crown and their man of the hour Travis. Recommend these guys anytime.

Randy was going to be late so he called well in advance to see if I still wanted him to come. He ended up arriving just at the end of the promised window (4 pm ish) so in my mind he was still on time but I appreciated the call. He diagnosed the problem but would need to come back the next day. I asked if there was anyway he could fix it right then and there. It would take four hours but he stayed and did it! He left around 9 pm. That is an example of real Nordstrom level customer service and dedication. Thank you Crown Plumbing and Randy for being so accommodating by fixing our broken pipe so we could take showers again. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND this responsive plumbing company.

I called Joni to help out a customer of ours whose house we were painting. They came out to install a water supply line to the refrigerator. They were fast, friendly, and very professional. Upon further inspection of my clients new home they found several things that needed updates in the basement. My client was very pleased at how thorough and professional they were throughout the process. I would highly recommend this company. Outstanding.
We have a 100 year old house and most of our plumbing is underneath. Randy came over, didn't bat an eyelid when I told him he would have to army crawl to the potential issue. He found the problem in 10 minutes. Turned out to be an entire kitchen line replacement. He had the office move some appts around so he could fix the leak and corrosion right away.
Reasonable price and just all around excellent concern and understanding of the plumbing issue.

I found out about Crown Plumbing years ago from George Morlan Plumbing around the corner. We've used them ever since; their phone number is on our door for regular issues and emergencies. This week, Dwayne came to solve a leaky bathroom sink - off the top, it should be something a homeowner could fix but nothing I tried could get the feed line to the hot water free. Dwayne came early - after calling ahead to be sure it was alright with me - and as he arrived, he and I chatted about him saving us (my father - now passed away) and me during our horrible snowstorm (Snowpocalypse) a while back, with an outside hose-feed water pipe spewing a massive stream on top of a foot of ice and snow in the dead of night. He took care of that scary mess, and here again this week quickly got to work and handled my sink problem. He also helped me with other plumbing questions we have, including future repairs and installation of a replacement sink. He is meticulous about cleanliness - a heavy-duty mat was under him the entire time - and super focused on his work. In the past, we've used Crown Plumbing for a kitchen sink pipe break and several years ago they replaced the metal pipes under the house with PVC pipe, and arranged the complete cleanout of a serious and dangerous bog under the house that happened when we had a previously-undiscovered leak. They're friendly, ethical, trustworthy and reasonably-priced. For the big jobs or small, we keep Crown Plumbing's number on our call list.

Joni from Crown reached out to me after I left a one star review. I had been given what to me was a very high estimate for what was a simple repair.It was so high that I elected to just pay the $145 for the estimate and hold out for my regular licensed plumber, who was able to do the job for about a third of the price. She understood my unhappiness, said they always intend to have a competitive bid and though she couldn't explain why there was such a discrepancy, what could they do for me? I suggested they refund the $145 which she immediately agreed to. I was very impressed with her reaching out and resolving it this way, this response was certainly excellent customer service, which is rare these days!

We've done business with them for several years. The quality of work has been fine. But the other things...
Most recently we had a toilet installed. The work was done well. The issue I have is they were scheduled for 10am. They showed up at 8am with no advance notice. That 1 thing, I could roll with.

But a couple of years back we had all of our galvanized plumbing under the house replaced. Also the connection to the meter, all new. Actually we started with the hot water flow in the kitchen was weak. And we expanded from there.

That work was completed and all seemed fine. Then I went to the garage and found the water to the garage has been cut. There was no discussion, no anything. I called them back out and asked them to hook it back up. They wanted $1200. During that project we also had the height of the shower head lowered. Turned out they didn't lower it enough. And they needed to cut some access holes in the wall to do the work. Could they repair the wall to finish the job?

Nope.

Did they end up fixing the original water flow in the kitchen issue. Not that, either.

So I believe they do good work. Just nail down what the complete job is before you get them start.

As for me, never again.

I contacted several plumbers for a badly leaking tub faucet, but had difficulty getting one that could come over quickly (most were booked out 2 to 6 weeks!!). The faucet was streaming so much that I lost all the hot water. Our house is old and there's no shutoff behind the tub--only the main one out on the parking strip, so closing that meant we would have no water in our house at all. For two days, the faucet was streaming continuously.
Crown Plumbing was the only one who not only responded immediately, they came out the next day. And the gentleman fixed it for under $200, which is a lot more reasonable than many quotes I got that were $350 to $400!

I got in over my head trying to install a toilet and broke a flange bolt (classic homeowner DIY mistake). I called Crown to see if they had same-day availability. I got lucky, and they had a cancellation. Travis came over in about an hour after my call and was able to fix somewhat complicated issue gracefully and professionally. I called Crown plumbing with 3 issues--ice maker quit working, kitchen faucet and shower needs work. I was told that a plumber would arrive on Monday between 10 and 12. He arrived at 9:00, I had just gotten out of the shower. He told me he doesn't work on ice makers. (If I had known that I would have called someone else. ) he looked at the kitchen faucet and said we needed a new one. He looked at the shower and said we needed a new one. I asked a friend to stop by and give me a 2nd opinion. He fixed the shower and told me
all the kitchen faucet needed was a washer. I ordered it on-line.

I won't be calling Crown Plumbing again.

These folks are really fantastic. We did a big bathroom remodel and asked George Morlan for a recommendation. They recommend Crown Plumbing. I called them to install the plumbing, some of which was a little tricky. Except it wasn't for them!

They fit us into their schedule, did great work, were easy to work with, and charged what they said they would charge - which, as we know, isn't always the case in the world of contractors.

We've hired them again since and had the exact same experience. These guys are great.

I hired this company on the recommendation of a person in my building and I love them.
Because of issues with delivery of my new countertops they made three trips- the first two without a charge. When everything was finally ready (a longer story) our lovely plumber showed up at 8:00am on the dot, installed three sinks, faucets, shimmed a toilet, installed a instant hot water device and a new kitchen faucet all for the estimate. And he showed me how to install my new hooks and towel bars.
So, reliable, well priced, super pleasant and competent. And their front office team is great, they know their business and are also super pleasant. All in all as much fun as you can get when dealing with plumbing. Use these guys! They deserve your business

My 25 year old Rheem gas water heater finally threw in the towel. Crown sent a very nice fellow to my home the same afternoon. He verified that the water heater was indeed the problem and arranged for a replacement the next morning. They even went out of their way to get a new Rheem for me.

My shower was having some difficulties draining, we decided there must be a mouse or a dog toy down the shower drain. We didn't ask questions, we just knew we couldn't shower. Crown sent Travis over within thirty minutes of me calling. Travis might as well have been wearing a cape because he saved the day with that snake down the drain. Found some hair that must have been stored down there for the past couple years. He recommended products to prevent these storage tactics in the future! Saved the day for sure, thanks Travis.

He gave me an estimate of $535.23 to replace the faucet I said no thanks but I still had to pay for the service called $145. My neighbor came over and replaced it in about one hour.

I needed a hot water heater replaced and I ended up picking Crown based on Angie's list and Yelp reviews. After the job I can easily say my expectations were exceeded in terms of friendliness and professionalism. The whole team was super friendly and helpful and the quality of the work was exceptional. Excellent service! My husband is very handy and took apart the pipes under the sink to see if he could find the reason for our non-draining sink- a chronic issue in our old house. After two attempts and snaking the pipes (15ft snake) we called Crown. Johnny (female, not sure of the spelling) was very nice on the phone and made a next day appointment but then called back when they had a same day appointment open up. Zak, the plumber, arrived within 10 minutes of the appointment. He gave a quote upfront and fixed our issue within an hour. He also walked through house to make sure there was no sign of a new leak from snaking (30 feet) our old plumbing.

Be aware that they will charge $145 just to come out and give a quote for repair. Of course, they did not tell me this prior to making the appointment, so I was shocked when my mom called to tell me they were going to charge her this exorbitant amount. The guy was there for 10 minutes and insisted that they told me about this charge. There is no way in hell I would ever agree to paying $145 for just a quote.

He said he could do the repair (cut the pipe and change the water main valve) for $465 because it would take a couple hrs to complete. My mom agreed because she felt like she had no choice because she'd have to pay them $145 anyway. The guy completed the repair in 1 hr and still charged her $465.

Totally unethical and I feel terrible that they took advantage of my mom.

This company is so incompetent and uncaring about their incompetence I don't even know where to begin. They gave me a bid and then came in 3K over it, then come to find out they plumbed our whole home incorrectly for the type of hot water heater we had and then wouldn't even fix it. We had to spend another $1500 with a different company to have it done correctly. Their incompetence is mind blowing, stay very far away!

I have a deck-mounted Rohl Bridge Faucet with Hand Spray at my kitchen sink. The hand spray is sputtering and I spoke with Rohl about it. They sent me a new diverter valve to replace the one that is causing the issue. I have the part. It requires two tools (a 2mm Allen key and needle-nose pliers) to swap it out. The valve is located above the deck (not under the sink) at the base of the spigot. Pop the spigot off, pluck out the valve, insert new valve, put the spigot back on. 5-10 minutes, I'd assume.

Joni (Crown Plumbing owner) had one of her plumbers (Brian) return my call requesting a quote for this task / visit.

Their quote: $400.00 ...Really?

Here's a thought, Joni. How about just being honest as a business owner, personally return my call, and simply tell me that this valve replacement isn't a profitable enough job for your company to take on instead of insulting me with a ridiculously intolerable quote. All Brian did was raise my ire.

I can't recommend Crown Plumbing enough after using their services twice now. Even though none of my toilet-related issues were immediate, their prompt availability was appreciated. Brian handled both jobs and his attention to detail and level of customer service was superb. He did a thorough job troubleshooting the issues and provided me with a number of solutions that he clearly laid out. All issues were resolved in no time and at reasonable pricing.

Not that I ever really want to need a plumber, but if and when I do I'm glad to know that Crown Plumbing is available to do a fantastic job!

I have no idea if this company does good work but....... they gave me a bid for some work. $16,000.!!!!!!!!! Closest bid from other companies was $8,000!!!! No thanks!

These people are on the ball! I called and told them we might have a sewage clog but not sure. The lady I spoke to referred me to Pro Drain who was supposed to come at 2 and I heard the doorbell ring at 11. I answered and it was a plumber. I assumed they were from Pro Drain. The man came in, quickly diagnosed the problem, fixed it within 15 minutes and the price was extremely reasonable! He explained in detail what the problem was and was so nice. Well, at 2 Pro Drain came and I told them I thought it was them who came earlier. I checked the receipt and it was Crown Plumbing! When I asked him why he came early, he said he was in the neighborhood and thought he'd go ahead and stop by to check the problem. We'll be using them from here on in!

Wow, what excellent service. We called crown plumbing to fix a toilet that was leaking at the base. When Travis came to our home the first time, he made a quick assessment of the situation. He explained that he wouldn't be able to fix the problem that day because the previous homeowner had done a DIY fix incorrectly and compromised the original lead pipe coming down from the toilet. He showed me the pipes and explained all the steps needed to fix it. While he was there he looked at all of the plumbing and answered all of my plumbing questions - I was so impressed with his thorough knowledge, his warmth, and his excellent advice. I actually really enjoyed learning more about our plumbing and the history of the house. I learned that our plumbing is all original and will eventually need to be replaced, but we have time to budget for it and plan it. He described the different phases of the replacement process, which made a really big job sound manageable. He also recommended AGAINST some short term work, because given that long term plan, it would only add cost, not benefit. At the end of the inspection I had an estimate for the toilet repair, much more knowledge about my home, and the start of a plan to improve it.

When Travis returned to do the work on the toilet, he was friendly, professional, and very quick. We were only without water for about an hour and had a working toilet again within three hours. And the cost was exactly the same as on the estimate. I am very impressed with Crown Plumbing and I'm so glad that I've found an excellent company to work with for future plumbing repairs and projects.

I've used Crown Plumbing for perhaps 20 years now. I've always had top-notch professional service, provided by Plumber Keith. He replaced a commode, fixed pipes and such over the years.

When I had a small pipe leak last week, I called Crown again. I was troubled to learn that Keith had retired.

Travis the Crown Plumber came on the call. He was prompt, professional and courteous. Instead of up-selling or max-selling an expensive job, Travis gave me options. As an old person, with a fixed income, this is vitally important to me.

Because of Travis, I continue to trust, and recommend Crown Plumbing, as I have for 20 years.

These folks will save you. After calling four other companies, two of which were too backed up to be of use, one which was waaay expensive, and one which sounded sketchy in the extreme, I landed on Crown. Kismet!

The friendly receptionist listened to my situation, then said, I'm going to fit you in asap. She originally could only find a free technician two days out but then, called me back to say, I can get someone to you tomorrow morning.

Nolan showed up, diagnosed the problem,then saved me some money with a repair (I thought my leaky faucet broken beyond saving). He was smart, funny, and knows his stuff.

There's so much gentrification going on in Portland these days, it's hard to find -any- plumbers (or electricians, or...) who aren't booking weeks in advance. Let alone good ones. Crown was here in two days, and did everything right. From their fast response to my inquiry, to their communications en route, to Zak's fast and expert service, this job couldn't have gone more smoothly or professionally. Also: the price was less than I expected.

Have used this company twice and originally called them on recommendation from a neighbor. The first interaction was for an issue with a flapper valve in our toilet, they did a great job and solved a knocking pipe sound in the wall. The second interaction was when our tankless hot water heater had an error message. We called Crown and specifically asked if this company serviced these units as we are aware that not all do. We were told they did, the plumber showed up and was indignant that he was asked to come out to fix the tankless unit saying we don't do these. Meanwhile my wife shows him a video we found on line regarding the error message, and he watched it, decided to clean something in the unit and then charged $185. Really? The unit is still not working properly. It's hard to stomach paying almost two hundred dollars to show a plumber a you tube video. I wish they had been honest about NOT servicing our type of unit to begin with. Star review is average of two interactions.

Wanted to charge me 300 an hour. 500 to replace the only toilet in our place. I figured they may charge me some extra, which is fine, seems to be always the case these days. But then they said it take a hour to hour and half extra time, no materials. They wanted 300.00 an hour for the extra time. When I questioned the rate, they said take it or leave it. I left it. But we out of a bathroom until I can get someone else give us a bid and then to install it. 3 or 4 days without our bathroom. Oh well only saved 150 but at least I got a fair deal.

Needed a cheap, builder-grade toilet replaced. This was the toilet guests always use, and...like half the time it would back up, or not flush right, or other gross stuff. Imagine when your folks are over and they use the toilet, and then you have to go get the toilet snake. Again. So when my parents were visiting for a couple weeks, it was time.

We went to George Morlan to talk about some other stuff (sink faucet replacement) and asked them about a toilet replacement. They pointed out a toilet and said, hey, call these Crown Plumbing folks (who are basically a block away). So we did.

The new toilet flushes perfectly every time, uses less water, and has a groovy soft close lid. $650 for the toilet, installation (which was somewhat tricky--tight spot, little clearance), exactly what they bid over the phone. Service was on time, quick, and correct--placed right, caulked right. The installer even put up with my questions about how the wax thing worked.

That was mid 2015. It's 2019 now, and the toilet is still perfect. We haven't replaced the lid or anything, we just clean it and flush it. We're about to go get them to replace the other toilet, which is an ancient creaky monster by comparison. Thank you! I'm proud to support a union shop in PDX, and you've earned my business for life.
