$450 charge for 3 hours of work. Did not finish job. Would not commit to fixed fee to finish job. Overcharged. Putters. Slow. Does not fix things properly. Misleading price quote before he came out. Disorganized. Avoid.

I hired Lobo Lawn to replace a kitchen faucet(yes, plumbing is one of their specialties).  Rob was very prompt, but quality of service ended there.  He moaned and complained the whole time about what a horrible job had been done by the original installer.  He then proceeded to denegrate  the new faucet I had  purchased (very highly rated on Amazon) how poorly designed it was, and basically that I was a fool for having purchased it.  Worst of all.......he had quoted me 150.00 to 200.00 over the phone and when he was done charged me 345.00 (before tax)!!!   Total time spent was less than two hours.  Never did he warn me it might be more than his original quote.  He was right in thinking I was a fool.......for paying him and hiring him in the first place.  If you're looking for an overpriced plumber who doesn't think twice about deceptive business practices, Lobo Lawn is for you.

Overpriced and poor service.  Hired to service a Mastercool swamp cooler and replace the pads for the summer.  Paid $200 for this which already seemed high.  Amazingly, after a few days there was a leak in some cheap plastic tubing that Rob installed and the panels of the cooler blew off in a windstorm.  Rob charged me again to fix the shoddy work he did the first time.  Won't be calling him again.  Maybe try TLC Plumbing instead.

I wish I read these reviews before hiring Rob at Lobo Lawn to add a pressure reducer to my front yard drip station. The water pressure was 100 psi and irrigation tubes did burst very often. I found his name on NextDoor (I don't see recommendations oh him anymore now) He came by the end of August 2020 and recommended adding a pressure reducer to the system. Asked for a flat rate of 450/- which I agreed.

After digging the whole system out, he invented a valve problem and said that he would fix the valve too for a total of $815! Unfortunately, I had no option as there was a big hole in the front yard and the whole system was taken down to parts and pieces. So agreed and he added a pressure reducer and changed the valve with one year warranty. The total time he spent on this was 2:15 hours.

In a week's time the tubes were bursting again. Recently I called him for a water leak from the station/valve he changed. His one year warranty is still valid.  When I called him, he answered after two days (I even forwarded him a copy of his receipt with 1-year warranty), came checked out and said it is not something he fixed and it was hard for him to recognize me! LOL

His receipt has my name and address and, I showed my drivers ID for name match. He still didn't think it was him who fixed it! He made me realize there are several @@@artists in this profession, I will not call this again.  Very disrespectful and dishonest. Overcharged. Does not fix things. Misleading price quote and does not stick to his warranty. His name tells his intention-Avoid!

I wish I had taken the time to do more research before hiring Rob at Lobo Lawn to service the house swamp cooler. The afternoon that he arrived at the house, it was windy. I agreed that he should not be on the roof. He asked for a $100 deposit that I paid. We contacted each other for about 2 weeks. When he finally came to do the work, he was at the house for about 30 minutes. He could not find my original bill, so I agreed to make a copy. The total bill was $162 for a job that was not complete. He took the canvas cover off the roof cooler and connected the hose to the unit. The unit had not been run for 5 plus years and I was expecting him to say parts were needed. I got the impression that he was only interested in the money.  I have recently contacted my local handy man and he will make it right. I felt $150 for 30 minutes of work was very expensive. I learned my lesson and will do more research before hiring someone I don't know.

Do not hire this man(Rob), or do anything with his business. He is extremely dishonest and he will steal from you. He will not complete the job and he will overcharge you no matter what. Read the other reviews. I hired him to fix a  sprinkler leak. A job that should have been $100 or less. He stopped in the middle of the job and demanded over $500. He refused to finish the job unless I place $500 cash in his hands. I stood up against his pressure tactics and sabotage and refused to pay him such a huge amount. He left without reconnecting the lines that he disassembled and stole one of my tools. The man(Rob) is over 70 years old. He has no employees or helpers. He lacks the energy for any work. He talks on the phone all the time, dealing with financial crises. He has no verifiable office and may be living in his work truck. I recommend that Yelp and Google business ban this man and his business from advertising on their platforms forever because he has been hurting lots of people for a long time.

Hired thru 'Angie's List trusting the commercials about how they vet the services before recommending them. This was a bad choice! Came and gave a quote of $300 for fixing leak on watering system.  Then he give us a receipt for the down payment of $300 we gave him. When we read the receipt, on the bottom he gave a quote of $300-$500. When I asked the next day about that (he said we had given him a $250 down payment and laughed when we corrected him and said can't go by his memory.  But he said he would try and keep the bill  below $500 (which was way to expensive in the first place).  He stayed 1 hour 1st day, 1 hour 2nd day and came back on third day for about 2 1/2 hours. Then he said we had a balance of $685.00!! What happened to the keep below $500? When I asked what he was charging per hour he stated that he charged by the job not the hour. We ended up having to pay $985. He spent that time mostly digging. He actually said he gave us a good deal. Please do not hire this person. He is a con artist. He should be taken off the Angie's List. Will be reporting him to BBB and Angie's.

I have a water tank with a pump that brings water to my home. I heard the pump coming on, then off and on again and again, etc. without stopping. This is not normal. No water was being used by laundry or other things in the house. There was also a rumbling coming from somewhere under the house. Robert looked under the house WITHOUT going into the crawl space, didn't see any water from there and stopped working. He did not bother to check for leaks or problems in the house or under it. It was an expensive non-fix. To boot, he left the pump cover off for me to replace-- it weighs 75-100 pounds. Rule number one is to always clean up after yourself in the trades. It irks the client to have to do it themself. It is a hardship for my 69-year-old body to lift that much weight without it being an emergency. I suffer from sciatica. I find it just terrible of him to take advantage of a low-income Christian woman, who needed HIM to do some diagnostics, not me! I am alone, not a plumber and have to watch every penny. His reviews are awful, and I can see why! He should be ashamed of himself for he is not qualified to do plumbing. He had the nerve to share the Lord's scripture, Psalm 83, with me since he spotted a Bible on my coffee table after he blatantly ripped me off! Christ IS overall and I'm sure he'll have a bit to say to him on judgement day. All I can do is forgive him and find alternative help. However, I must caution others: DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN, he is not qualified.
