Best Businesses in Albuquerque, NM
Have used JP for heating/cooling at one house, and more recently for plumbing repair, a new water heater and a laundry room upgrade in another home. They are always professional, knowledgeable, on-time, and the work has been top notch at a reasonable price. They are my first call whenever I have plumbing or heating/cooling needs.

Scott and his apprentice did an amazing job! He needed to remove a 2x2 piece of foundation out of our livingroom to access the leak at foundation level. Repaired all pipes, cleaned up mess, repoured concrete. Fair price, licensed, same day fair and respectful. Cannot say enough good things about this company!

I managed an apartment community and was referred to Charles. I have nothing but good things to say about Charles. They are reasonable with their prices and get the job done right the first time. I definitely recommend for both HVAC and plumbing needs.

Great service. Sky came immediately to my office complex to help fix a leak on a hot water heater. The issue was fixed and my tenants were back to doing business in no time. Kindest most trust worthy person to do business with.

I had an ancient boiler for baseboard heat & domestic hot water heater. Both at least 27 years old, really!
Before catastrophic failure, I requested 4 bids from HVAC plumbers. Of the four , 3 submitted bids; 1 suspiciously low & 1 really high & one in the expected range. Only Baker Plumbing sent the actual plumber to do the bid. That is Steven Baker himself. He arrived at the time agreed upon, asked the right questions & got an itemized bid back in 1 day. Work started on time and finished when anticipated. He came in on target with no overcharges. He explained fully & helped getting tech info for custom settings.
Steven Baker plumbing is highly recommended.

We have used this company twice, once for a clogged drain and another time for a toilet replacement. Both times they were quick to respond and charged a fair price for the work. I definitely would recommend you give them a try.

Excellent service and informed me of things that did not need repair, just adjustment. It was very hot but Dean got everything done. I am hiring them again to re -connect plumbing in new kitchen sink.

I'm not a yelper really, but I've been meaning to post on here for awhile about my experience w Caitco. My fella & I were $intimidated$ by the prospect of having to replace our sewer line from the house. We were up sheet creek. It sucks. So we shopped around. We got an estimate on the work from Caitco, got a second estimate from another place. Caitco beat the price. We went for it. The trench less style they did was awesome. Minimal yard disruption in the end. It's been almost a month & we are showering & flushing like normal people again! Justin was our guy & super on top of it. Lots of details go into a big job like this. Awesome team of folks. But the thing that really sticks out is when the tub was backing up a few days before the scheduled work. We asked if, perhaps, w the sewer job in just a few days, the crew could lend us a snake for this tub situation. Justin & his crew just came over (they must've worked late to accommodate our poop pickle) and got the standing gross moving through by snaking, removing traps, etc. They were trouble shooting & really trying to help us out. Above & beyond. Thanks team!

My furnace wasn't working, needed a repair. I'm disabled and cannot work. The man that came out actually said, Don't work don't eat. He was very insulting I thought. Still he had no problem fixing my furnace or taking my money. He certainly is not a neurologist or even a doctor. Totally unfit to make judgements and must be pretty stupid to think I'd call that company again.

Purchased an HVAC mini-split zoned by room central system from them in 12' to replace an out of date furnace and swamp cooler combo. Good system. Fast forward 6 years. One unit stops function. Yes, it naturally is already out of warranty. However I call them since they know the install and learned that the husband/wife combo is now just the wife and the husband who I worked with is not longer involved. Not good-she is uncaring and difficult to work with. I try to get them to come out and check it out and that is a fiasco-first it is brutal to even try to get something scheduled and then they want to charge me time and a half to diagnose it after I get off of work at 5 pm-they say that is after hours. I was already a customer and this is how I am treated.
I finally decide to use another HVAC contractor that is licensed for install/service for Fujitsu as the manufacturer and lo and behold they immediately ID the issue is that the units were installed WAY TO CLOSE to the ceiling which hinders airflow and leads to air blower failure. The crazy part is that the instructions for proper install are right there in the standard owner's manual.
I mean how can they get that wrong? I hired them to follow the specs and protocol as a licensed contractor for Fujitsu who has installed this prior to mine and they total got it wrong for all 3 indoor wall units in the house and it was not even close-the clearance is supposed to be 18 and all 3 are 12 or less-how does this happen and who knows how many other customers have been impacted?! Hello pending small claims court suit-I had to spend over $1000 to get this diagnosed correctly and get a new blower installed on the unit in question-who knows how much more I will have to pay if the other 2 go out as well.

These guys are disorganized and it seems that they only have one screwdriver. One camera. One saw for the entire company. They are very disorganized and the front office seems to make appts for crews assuming the one regular tip Phillips screwdriver will be available and not in Los Lunas if needed in rio rancho.

Terrible rude never retuned calls. Would not recommend. Didn't clean up after job. Don't hire

These people get recommended by everybody to find leaks. The plumbing companies I've talked to or used have recommended them. They did find one slab leak that got fixed about a year and a half ago and then found another one in the kitchen. Now maybe that part of the business is okay but a plumber who recently came out told me that there's a way to just saw through the tile and the slab and lift it out without having to jackhammer through it. Because now, American Leak Detection is in the business of fixing the leaks. First that would give them a huge incentive to find leaks whether there were there or not if then they're going to send people out to fix them. Because I wanted it done quickly I had them do it. They seem to have fixed a couple of pinhole leaks In the kitchen but this is what my kitchen looked like after they were done. They half-ass put up plastic around my kitchen, got concrete dust everywhere and scratched other tiles. They made a huge mess as can be seen in the photos below. I would not call them to fix a leak. They don't care about your house.
