They did a good job, scheduling was easy, they called in advanced like they said they would. I didn't even answer the phone so they texted me and I was able to correspond with them via text! They did all the servicing and checking they promised, I even had salt for my water softener and the technician carried it from the garage to my back yard to put it in for me at no additional costs! They tightened up my sink handle for no additional cost either. I did pay for a replacement of a piece in the water heater, but it really looked like it needed replacing so I don't feel bad about paying for that. The technician even applied a coupon for me for it which was nice. I'm pretty thrilled with the service I received.

They might do a good job if you can afford them.  Charged me $79 to to give me a $4879 estimate to do the exact job that was estimated at $1150-$1250 by other companies.

The manager for the company called me and apologized for the issue that I ezperienced. I was impressed that he took time to remedy my concern. He asked to give the sunny plumber another attempt. He states that while he can't always monitor what others may do, he does take pride in their reputation.

So let me start off by saying what a joke all the advertisements of customer service are!

I will say the call center team was great, answered my questions and very kind. They even were able to schedule an appointment the same day I had an issue!

Now here is where it goes downhill, my appointment was scheduled for 4:00-8:00 pm. I received a call at 3:25 saying my tech was 45 min out from my property. So I left work early and head home. Well then I get a call almost at 4:45 saying my tech is on his way and 45 min out. So first impression is LATE.

Now here is where it gets good. My tech shows up and I tell him about my water leak from under my driveway and I'm pretty sure it's the main water line that burst and he helps me shut off the water and says, yep that's the issue. Your gonna need to replace the whole line cuz who knows which part will be next. Doesn't investigate the leaks, doesn't locate the water line and goes straight to that. So when asked what price he has to make a call and take about 10 min and then says, my guy doesn't have iPad so I'll have him come over Monday if that's okay with you. I agreed and we set up a temporary line for $300! I mean I was expecting something nice but it was literally a hose..

Well after that is set up he is ready to leave and I bring up the issue in the home, guess the call reps didn't note that for him. Anyway, he goes to fix under my faucet and I'm in the kitchen and I hear him yell my name. I quickly run into the bathroom and he needs a bucket because the line couldn't shut and water was all on my floor and under my sink. Not very prepared if you ask me. So we quickly grab the trash can, fill it and then has me dump it in the sink... umm my trash can is full of gunk and hair and crap.. well now it's in my drain. Fabulous! So he tells me my nozzles under are broken and need to be replaced, so he says add that to the list. Like really!?

He leaves and give me a copy of the service and writes on the agreement that the estimator will be here Monday between 5-6 pm. So here comes Monday it's 4:00 pm I leave work and get to the house at 4:55pm and get ready for the appointment. Comes around 5:30...then 6:00.. and then 6:30. I call and they tell me no schedule was set and the tech forgot too... so that was my last straw and completely unprofessional. Asked to speak to someone in charge and they told me someone will reach out to me.

Long story short, horrible first and last experience. I caution anyone calling them.

I gave two stars only because the customer service on the phone was wonderful. They were able to schedule a technician within a couple hours of my call.
The technicians came and spent about 30 seconds looking at my garbage disposal (didn't remove any parts, didn't really do anything but flip the switch and notice that it made no noise). They then tell me I need a new garbage disposal and it'll be $530. I say I cannot afford that so I'll have to wait. He asked me what I can afford. I say we were hoping it would be under $200. He makes a phone call and comes back with a $375 price tag. I tell him I'll have to wait and think about it so he charges me the $79 for the estimate.
I call another company who charges nothing for an estimate. He arrives within an hour, spends a good 5 minutes or so checking out the garbage disposal and has it running in about 5 minutes. He then tells me no charge because it was such an easy fix. I of course asked for his card because he is who I will call next time something happens and I need a plumber! I will never call Sunny Plumber again. They simply wanted my money when the garbage disposal didn't even need to be replaced.

I had to make 2 separate appointments because they run late. However, when Mitch finally arrived he was very helpful, answered all of my questions without the typical manspaining tone. He definitely went the extra mile to help my family. Thx Sunny Plumber

Fast, friendly, efficient. My three favorite words, and the ones I choose to describe this company.  They came, they saw, they conquered the clog in my washing machine drain. They showed me, via camera, a huge root that is in the pipe outside, and did a very thorough inspection of the rest of the sinks/pipes.  I would definitely call them again for future plumbing needs.  Also...FREE sunglasses!  :-)

They attempted to charge a $49 service fee for an estimate they conceded wasn't stated when I scheduled the visit. The service guy was polite and professional, so I don't blame him, but charging for an estimate, while not illegal, is an unscrupulous business practice which clearly backfired here, particularly when it wasn't disclosed in the first place. Avoid this company!!!

What a rip off. Crazy pricing and sloppy work. Tried to sweeten the deal by throwing in a $20 part for free after charging me close to a grand for the work and a good review on yelp. Oh and that $20 part would have cost me $297 through them. SMH.  What a joke.

After my last review was published on Yelp, I got a call from Adam at Sunny Plumber. We talked amicably and openly about their work, their ethics, and the need for him making these calls. During the conversation I made the following points:

1.  My wife and I exist on Social Security. It is our only source of income. We represent one of the most vulnerable segments of our society.

2. The supervisor on the job misrepresented the nature and scope of the work that needed to be done and gave me an estimate based on this misrepresentation.  Not being a contractor or a plumber I made the mistake of trusting the Sunny Plumber name and authorized the work.

3.  When the work turned out to take minutes instead of days, the supervisor failed to adjust the price to reflect the actual work performed.

4. Based strictly on the behavior of the supervisor, Sunny Plumber perpetrated fraud, a scam.

5. If I were a normal senior who was technologicallyi challenged, I would have no recourse and would just have to accept being scammed by Sunny Plumber through this supervisor. But not being a normal senior citizen, I am able to use my voice.

6. This scam is wonderful! They refund the money that was scammed once in a while, pocketing the vast majority of the money. And they get to look like they are the business that cares whenever they get caught and have to provide a refund.

7. I do not hold Sunny Plumber responsible for the actions of this rogue supervisor. I did tell Adam that if one of my employees placed me in this position, I would fire that employee.

Adam was an excellent proponent for Sunny Plumber. He let me vent my anger then the two of us went on to what's next?  He agreed to refund the nearly $1000 that their supervisor scammed from us and sincerely apologized for the misunderstanding.

I would be reluctant to recommend Sunny Plumber. Their reviews here on Yelp are mixed. They seem like a decent company trying to find their corporate moral compass. If they are able to achieve this objective the rest should fall into place.

I am a fan - had some difficulty with the subcontractor who wasn't able to move the backhoe out but after I got in contact with Sunny (Chad), the backhoe was gone within a couple of hours.  Nice work, just took some time to get through the bureaucracy.

Just trying to understand these different contact's. One is for this and the other is for that. This company has manger's that work to make you understand. I thank Chad for trying to make them understandable but I think that every employee just needs to know more of what they are to be doing and how to answer my maintenance questions. I know that every company needs and works on making money but the serviceman isn't to try to be a salesman. They are for servicing not selling! If they fell or see something that may cost me money then tell me a little about it then maybe say that a management person or a saleman will call me and try to make it easier for me to see and understand that. With doing something like this it would be showing me that the service repair man is servicing my equipment and not being a saleman. I also think that these differ maintenance contacts should be put together or be ajusted so that I'm paying them both at the same time. You have two company's in one Sunny Plumber ( for plumbing and water) with Goettl (doing Heating and AC) with maintenance contract's. I might have to renew one contract in say July then in say December renew the other. Well from one to the other it's easy for me to forget which one I renewed. Renews are sent through e-mails and sometimes people like me don't get them or I can open their e-mails. I fell that the mailman needs his job also. Sorry to make it shorter lets have this or those two company's work as ONE.

This morning I woke up to my double kitchen sinks being stopped up.
I called the office and got scheduled immediately, within an hour of when I called. John arrived and in short order fixed the problem. He informed me of their free camera service which can identify potential future problems, and a membership fee if I joined and what benefits there were to being a member. Lastly, I asked about my water filter spicket because the pressure of the water is very low and he told me two options to have that serviced. Very impressive!

The first plumber appeared to do a free water tank drain.  He checked the water pressure and said that I needed a presssure valve on my water softener.  About $300.  I had that installed.  

We also discusssed having a new kitchen faucet installed  after my counter top and sink were  replaced.   The estimate for labor was $450.  Exhoribant.  After the plumber talked with his supervisor, he could give me  a deal of $169 for the labor.   Considering that the task can be completed in about 30-45 minutes, that is still expensive.  However,  I prepaid the $169, and said I would call for installation after the counter was replaced.  

After he left,  I noticed that both low flow toilets were groaning loudly.  The next day when I turned on the dishwasher there was no water.   I checked the valve connecting the water source to the dishwasher and found that it had been turned off.  When I turned it on, it gushed water.  
At that point, my evaluation of the service was -10.

I called for a return visit for repairs, and I was lucky to have Mitch as the service plumber.    Mitch fixed all the problems and explained what was the cause of the malfunctions.   Mitch is the greatest and rates a 10+++.  Only ask for Mitch--honest, direct, and knows what he is doing.  

However, I am suspect of a company that always finds something wrong when they come out.  When I had my discounted heat pump inspection from Goettl conducted last fall, I ended up with a $600 expense for a part ( surge protector) they said was needed.  

The 3 star rating is the average of the company rating and Mitch's rating.  I will see how the prepaid installation of the faucet goes and write and another evaluation--hopefully more positive.

Have used Sunny Plumber and Goettl for HVAC maintenance for five years.  Had an annual contract to do regular checkups.  
We did a remodel on our floors and master shower.  The new tile shower required that we install a new water mixer valve.  Simple job, the wall was already open, just remove the old valve, install the new one which I already had.  After waiting several days for an appointment, two trucks show up to give me a quote for labor only...$800!
A neighbor and I did the job in about an hour, including a trip to HD for a short piece of copper pipe.

we had an outside supply water line installed a couple years ago they put it in crooked, and out of plumb and did not solder the connection properly !  and it leaked! they sent someone to repair it and they did not correctly it still leaked, however, I called them again and the tech this time was a total professional and repaired it properly ( albeit it still is crooked ! )the first tech took no pride in his work, was sloppy and did a bad job hopefully you'll get the last one !

Called the sunny plumber to fix a job that stumped a previous plumber. They were excellent. It's not often that customer service is impressive these days, but Sunny nailed it. We will use them again.

**Updated review**
After leaving my original review I heard from Sunny Plumber and they made everything right.  They were able to send a manager out to my house the same day to give me an estimate without charging for the estimate.  The gentleman that was here was very pleasant and gave me several options and explained things really well.  The price was very high and the estimate they said would be emailed to me never came.  After a few additional estimates I decided on a different company.

I can't speak to the quality of this company but only the horrible phone/customer service.  I called today to talk to someone about scheduling an appointment for an estimate on a new water heater and also talking to them about a whole house water filtration system.  When I asked about the average cost of things like this they wanted to charge me $80 before they would give me ANY information at all.  I understand there are variables and differences in houses and the amount of work needed for the different jobs.  I couldn't even get a ball park range of what I might be looking at.  I understand I couldn't get an exact quote but there are averages out there and also a high end and low end ranges to help people gauge if this is something they could even possibly do.  Needless to say I've crossed this company off my list and I will give my business and money to someone else that will give me an idea of what I will be spending.  I'm very leery of ANY company that won't talk to me unless I pay them.  Be careful with this company.

My father coordinated with Sunny Plumbing from overseas after the flush on our toilet popped out (seemed to be an easy fix). Sunny Plumbing then called us at 6am to confirm a time. They then called at 8am to say they'll be at our home in 45 minutes. They called at 9 saying their serviceman had a family emergency and would be there between then and noon. That's a huge time frame, but we needed it fixed so we decided to wait it out. By 1:15, they still had not showed up, nor had they called to apologize for the extreme delay. We ended up calling a different service and called Sunny Plumber to tell them to cancel our appointment. After four phone calls, all we can really say is they are neither fast nor efficient! Don't waste your time!

Let me tell you the tale of a service session forgotten. By me.

Life gets busy, you get a call from an unknown number and you answer, luckily you're in the thick of it and you just say thanks for the call, can you call back later?

Sunny Plummer and their business partners don't give up. They don't take the money and run.

Apparently I purchased service contract, and then never had time to schedule the upkeep service. My policy expired, but Sunny Plummer said you paid for this, so we're going to follow through. And they did. They sent one of the friendliest, capable, and diligent plumbers... John.

Excellent work John, you and your company culture won a customer.

After the annual water heater checkup the pressure relief value was stuck open , so when the gas company showed up to looking for a possible leak.  No leak was found but continual water and gas for about 2 weeks.  Dan showed up to look at the problem.  I expected they would fix the pressure relief valve and pay for the water and gas bills when they arrived.  NO that is not what happened! Dan (the Man) replaced the hot water heater and replaced some piping.  The wife and I can't express enough our thanks to Dan the Man.

My experience started with a routine maintenance of the tankless water heater that we had installed about 7 years ago (6 yrs at the time). Sunny Plumber dispatched Vincent and he asked if we would like to talk to the supervisor for information on a whole house filtration system. He called the Goettl supervisor to come talk to us about it and about checking the clean-outs. Long story short, I felt run over as I did not want any of the fixtures in the bathrooms changed, Vincent did it anyway with a nod from his manager. The next day, the guest bathroom and the bedroom next to it were flooded from the toilet (he had been moving it and did not say anything when he left). Then while they were putting the fixture in for the two filtration tanks, they cut into the side of the house and dug down to the main pipe (they never said anything about that either). When Vincent and his partner did the flush of the pipes, he under the master bath sink and doing something under the faucet fixtures and now when the cabinet door is opened, it stinks and no one from that company knows why. If I need anything else done plumbing wise, I will choose a different company.

I contacted Sunny Plumbing to have the plumbing under my kitchen sink redone. After several calls back in forth, I was finally able to schedule an appointment to have a tech come out and resolve my issue. Unfortunately, after waiting 3 days for my appointment to come around, less than an hour before the scheduled appointment I received a phone call from someone stating that they did not have a tech in my area and would need to reschedule for another day. Rescheduling for another day was not an option, as I had already waited 3 days and my kitchen sink was sitting inoperable. I needed this to be completed and the team at Sunny Plumbing really let me down. Their lack of focus on the customer's needs and ability to schedule their techs appropriately left me scrambling to find another company to pickup where they fell short!! I certainly would not recommend SUNNY PLUMBING to anyone; as they are seriously lacking on their Customer Service and ability to fulfill the obligations they take on!!
