Castle Masters Mechanical

Called to get kitchen faucet and toilet repair scheduled.  The woman who answered the phone was absolutely horrible and rude. I decided not to hire because she was argumentative and exhibited poor customer service skills. Do not hire.

I found Brian at Castle Masters Mechanical thru Home Advisors, when I needed a dishwasher put in. Home advisors had many reviews on Castle MM, all highly rated, so I took a shot. He first came to my place to do a bid, which he did not charge for. He surprised me by how young, enthusiastic, and courteous he was, so I asked about his experience. His bid was very reasonable, so I scheduled a time with him.
He came fully prepared for the job, including parts I should have had for installation, but didn't, and was done much earlier than he thought the job would take. So, the bill was much less than what he quoted.
After he left, I ran some dishes, and noticed a leak under my sink. I called right away to let him know that I was planning on getting a new sink soon, and I would live with it, and he could fix it when I needed the sink installed. He insisted that he wanted to take care of it now, if it was something he was responsible for.
Brian came back the next afternoon, took a look, and found a cracked washer on the pipe leading to the sink. I told him to that I would have to replace it when I got my new sink, and I'd call him for that anyway, so just to leave it. Again, he insisted on taking care of it FREE OF CHARGE, even know it wasn't his fault.
I really enjoyed Brian and his professionalism. I now have found my go-to plumber, which is an excellent feeling to have someone that you trust and knows your property.

Brian of Castle Master came highly recommended, and he was superb.  We've lived in our house in south Minneapolis for 38 years, and had problems with a leaky sink faucet and leaky bathtub faucet, which proved beyond my ability to figure out after watching many U-tube videos, and hours staring at the faucets trying to figure out how to get the handles off.   Also, a problem with no cold water coming out of the tub spout, ouch.  Brian arrived right on time (got an appointment one day after I called), sized the problem up immediately, and though the parts were unusual (19 years old), made a quick trip to the hardware store, and within an hour, fixed both problems with new parts and a smile.  He's a kind, thoughtful, understated person, super-skilled at what he does, and charged far less than what I was expecting, considering the new parts and labor.  End of U-tube videos for me, Brian is my guy.

I have used Brian over the years and have been very pleased with all his work. He is so pleasant and reasonable  in price. He even pointed out something that was installed wrong and fixed it even though he didn't do the work at no charge. I highly recommend him!!!

Brian was great. Very professional and conscientious about his service.  He arrived at a set time, not a window, and was extremely helpful.  I would highly recommend.

I tried contacting Bryan to hire for another job and after leaving two messages for him and never hearing back I found someone else to help me. Pretty disappointed after having decent first experience. I will now be giving my future business and word of mouth referrals to someone else.

I called Castle Masters after having been referred to them by another contractor. I cannot speak to the quality of their work, which I assume is good based on my referral, but customer service needs improvement. Upon calling, I was told that they do no work in my area, and when I asked for a very rough estimate based on the scope of work I was interested in, or the names of other plumbing contractors who do work in my area, the receptionist basically hung up the phone. If that's what service is like on the front end, I can only imagine what it is like if there are scheduling issues during the project, or billing issues afterwards. I'd steer clear and find someone who respects their potential customers.
