Called for leaky faucet (that I thought I could do myself). Dave came out within a couple of days, and had it repaired quickly. Also taught me a thing or two - which I really appreciate. Highly recommended. Very knowledgeable, friendly.

This review is for setting up an appointment.  I was disappointed that Big Dave does not take credit cards and that you have to pay at the time the service is rendered.  I have a tenant that is going to meet the person fixing the garbage disposal and I let the receptionist know that I would pay beforehand if needed.  That would not work for her, which means I can't use his services.

Also, I asked for a referral to another plumming company and the person I talked to did not know of a single one nor could she put me in touch with anyone who might be able to refer.  For a man that's been in business for 30+ years, I'm surprised that he doesn't have more connections to others in the business.

Couldn't get my water to stop running in my toilet.  Called Big Dave and he was over and had it fixed in less than an hour.  Friendly guy.  Cleans up after himself.  Reasonable prices!

Big Dave is fast, efficient, and thorough.  He is extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy.  I can't say enough great things about our experience with him.  He always comes way under bid and has the job done in about half the time he gives you an estimate for.  I have and will continue to refer all my friends to him.

Big Dave is a really nice and personable guy. I enjoyed working with him. He quoted me on the installation of a water softener I had purchased myself. He did a nice job he was at my home for 2 hours on the button. He charged me for 2.5 hours. When I asked him why, he said that he charges for drive time, and it took him 30 mins to get to my house. So, I paid a plumber $160/hour to drive to my home. For that, he gets 4 stars, not 5. Preposterous!

If you are in need of a plumber that you can trust with excellent work... Dave is the man! As first time home buyers we needed a few repairs on our older home. We were  pleased the whole way through setting up the appointment (which was same day!) until he pulled out of our driveway. The time he took to carefully repair, explain and make sure we were satisfied was very much appreciated. If you are like us and need some plumbing work but not sure who to call, just call Big Dave. We are definitely going to be calling him again for future work. 5 stars!!

Big Dave is knowledgeable, professional, and an expert in his craft. We've hired him twice and have been very happy with his work. His pricing is fair and he is upfront about costs right away. He also takes the time to answer any questions and gives plenty of information about his repairs. Scheduling is easy, he shows up on time, and he is very efficient! Big Dave is our go-to for plumbing needs. We will be calling him again.

We had Dave out a year ago to fix our 2nd floor toilet that is over 80 years old and we thought unrepairable but some how Dave made it like work new. Today it was a basement toilet that wouldn't flush completely.
Dave made quick work of it both times with fair prices and our complete satisfaction. I told him that he's a toilet whisperer and a great plumber.

The faucets in the shower were slow.  I decided to replace the usual problem: washers.  Not so easy in a set of faucets that haven't been touched in probably a decade.  Long story short, discretion is the better part of valor, and I decided to call in a pro.  My neighbors on Nextdoor (You are a member, right???  You should be!) recommended Dave.

When we (and I do mean WE) opened up the wall it was revealed that all that was holding the pipes and fittings together was rust and corrosion.  I am VERY lucky that things didn't explode and flood the lower floors.

Dave did great work, and the price was fair.  The thing I liked was that some tasks that he could have done and charged me for (taking out the old framing that covered the plumbing area and building a new one) he handed off to me.  As soon as he was comfortable that I wasn't going to screw things up he said have at it.  

This morning I took a shower for the first time since the repair.  Bliss!

Came out the same day we called for service and fairly quick. We had a leaky shower faucet. My first go to is usually to dad, but he and my husband couldn't fix it; enter Big Dave.

He came out fairly quick, got the issue fixed and left us with a very resonable and fair bill.
