Irvine Medallion Plumbing

I had 3 leaky toilets all at the same time and my water bill was going through the roof.  At first, I called A1 Plumbing who charged me $50 just to come out.  The plumber told me I needed 3 new flusher valves and it would cost $450!  Steve, who happened to be repairing my garage door at the time, told me it was probably only the flappers that needed to be replaced.  After my garage door repair, he checked the toilets and sure enough it was only the flappers that needed fixing.  Quick, quality work at less than half the cost!!  Don't hesitate to call Steve for your plumbing service ( or your garage door, too)!

Responsive and knowledgeable!! Came out first thing in the morning to assess our leak. Unfortunately we have to redo the pan due to the former contractors doing a shoddy job. Provided option to temporary fix it but at this point need to get it redone. My friend recommended me to this company and was happy with their work both on plumbing AND their garage door

Steve with Medallion Plumbing assisted again with an outside faucet water leak and kitchen disposal problem. He is wonderful to work with besides having the expertise to repair the problems, he arrives on time and performs with work at a reasonable price. I will not hesitate to continue to use his services when another plumbing issue arises.

I met Steve, the owner, when I had a garage door problem years ago, and touched base recently with another garage door problem (he also owns Door Crafters of Irvine, which has nothing but 5-star reviews). His plumbing business is 5-star as well.  I called with a problem (called me back in 15 minutes), and instead of coming out and charging me to fix it, he talked me through the repair over the phone, exchanging pictures to help.  That's the way he does business, he only does what's necessary, charges a fair price, returns calls, and arrives on time.  And in addition, everything he's done for me has been done right the first time. Highest recommendation.

I was having trouble with my water pressure in my townhome and called the plumber that was recommended by the housing association.  They cost over an arm and a leg ($138) just to have someone check what the problem was.  That sounded ridiculous so I started to Google Irvine plumbers...most companies charge a fee for them to come out but would waive it if you get work done.

I came across Irvine Medallion Plumbing and checked out the website and found there were no reviews on yelp yet.  I decided to give a call anyway.  Steven picked up and said that he would be available the same day that afternoon.  He didn't charge an upfront cost and he didn't upsell me.  He was able to arrive to my home ahead of schedule which he called to inform me.  Found out after meeting him that he's a one man show so it's just him taking all the calls, etc.  He told me what the issue was and when I asked about other water pressure issues in my home he told me what options were available to me (ie: getting a new sink fixture, what brands will last longer, etc.).  He noted that my main problem was a pressure relief valve that was going bad.  Steven was able to fix the water pressure so it's WAY better than what it was but I would eventually need to change the part for $300 if I wanted it working in the long run.  At the end of the day, to increase the water pressure, check if it worked, and give me options, it took about 45 mins.

What I would have LOVED is if he could have somehow used a network or connection to get a better deal on a valve so I could replace it.
