Nicest guy ever, friendly, chatty and gives lots of advice to landlords, and I'm sure very knowledgeable -- but couldn't, after a few hours, quite diagnose an issue with a really old clogged kitchen.

Lots of uncertainty and then a bit of chatter unrelated to the issue. Truly, a nice guy, so he gets the benefit of the doubt.

I realize that plumbing issues are complicated, but it was still rough to not have my sink fixed, especially after he told me and I saw how hard he was working.

Meir is wonderful. Our bathroom sink was leaking and Meir came over with in the hour to fix it. Was in and out in 30 minutes! Quick job, very knowledgeable. Quality plumber who wants the best for his clients. Meir was very helpful in fixing our problem, thank you!

Our garbage disposal in our new home unexpectedly clogged our sink. Meir troubleshooted our garbage disposal over the phone within minutes of our text inquiry. He showed up the next morning, replaced our garbage disposal and added additional piping. See pictures of the before (smaller white disposal unit) and after (larger black disposal unit). Transparent pricing, professional, knowledgeable and would recommend.

Meir has become a buddy. Multiple times, he has bent over backwards to fit us into his schedule - from emergencies to regular jobs. He is trustworthy, completely fair, and always makes you laugh. Besides broken plumbing, I always look forward to chatting with Meir. He's one of the few good ones, and is one of (if not the most) skilled plumber we've ever worked with.

Seriously - he's fixed drains, broken main water lines, checked our gas line issues, helped us get reimbursed from DWP for an emergency leak, and brought our garage-sale propane-powered fire pit back from the dead.

Meir is the real deal. As good as it gets!

Took half an hour to make it over. Most other places said a couple of
days and such. Those that answered said that at least. Some were answering machines. He worked quickly and did a number of things
that were above and beyond. He cut the price too because we said he got good press on Yelp. Well, he's got some more good press now.
If we need some more work he'll get another call.

Good help can be hard to find.

One morning, water started pouring into our basement from in between the brick mortar along 2/3 of the wall. A friend recommended Meir. He came out right away and helped track down the source of the major water leak: our kitty-corner uphill neighbors. Meir was more than fair, honest, professional, and had a great sense of humor. He also taught me a lot along the way.

Had our basement sump pump fail. Was referred to Meir by our general handyman. Within 1 hour of my original text myself, I was on the phone with Meir explaining what happened. He came out a few hours later to view the problem and gave me a rundown.

Unfortunately the more he uncovered about the original pump and plumbing, the more things didn't look right. In no way was this a scam to get more work, he honestly just wanted to do things the right way that won't need repairing again. Ultimately, the sump basin needed to be repaired, and the piping modified to fit.

Overall, the replacement and repair was done right, and in an good timeframe. Meir is definitely now my I have a guy for plumbing issues and questions.

When *both* our upstairs sinks (kitchen & bathroom) started leaking on a Sunday night, we thought the problem must be due to a pipe in the garage that both sinks drain into.  Meir came over the following day & immediately diagnosed a separate localized problem with each sink; the sinks had started leaking at the same time by coincidence.  He repaired both problems in short order, then good-humoredly answered several other plumbing questions we had as well as entertaining us with his stories & wit.  We're very happy to have found such a great plumber right here in the Sunset district!

Meir was great, completed everything efficiently and explained what he was doing while fixing the issues. Will not hesitate to contact him again.

We are so happy we called Meir. He was able to accommodate us within a couple of hours of contacting him--on a Saturday morning, no less--to fix our main sewer line that had backed up and formed a huge puddle of you know what on the garage floor.

A friendly, knowledgeable plumber with a great sense of humor, Meir's customer service skills are top notch. And he cleared our clogged sewer line before the hour was up.

Pricing is fair for an independent plumber and the work is top quality. We'll definitely call Meir to handle any future plumbing emergencies!

Called Master Plumbing the other day to fix a leaking urinal. Meir came out with in an hour and fixed the leak. Great customer service. Next time I need a plumber, I will be calling him.

Meir is as good as it gets.  He was recommended to me by a friend who owns many apartments who said that that Meir is the guy you go to, to really figure out what is wrong and fix it.  He is right.  Meir doesn't just work.  He analyzes the problem (or solves the unknown problem), develops a plan to fix the issue,  and then executes.  You can know that it will get fixed if you use Meir.  He is not the cheapest, but he is the best.  Save yourself headaches with others and go with Meir with confidence.

Used YELP reviews to locate plumber in the sunset district where we live. tHad several outstanding issues around the house. noisy leaks and broken garbage disposal, etc. Plumber delivered the goods on all accounts. Came, fixed all with no issues. Would use again.

What a wonderful experience! Very honest and knowledgeable, and one of the friendliest folks I've met recently. Truly a neighborhood gem, don't hesitate to call him!

Had an emergency plumbing issue on Sunday.  Called Meir and he showed up within 45 minutes.  He took time to understand how the home's plumbing system was set up, and then acted.  He solved the problem efficiently.  He was professional, knowledgable and honest.  Through it all, he  demonstrated that he didn't want to take any shortcuts; he stressed the importance of finishing the job the right way.   Will plan to use him again (but hopefully under less dire circumstances).  Thanks Meir!

No one likes it when something goes wrong with the plumbing. It's actually pretty much the worst thing ever. And gross. And sad. And you need help.

And that's where Master Plumbing comes in! Cue my relief.

If you're looking for the cheapest on the market, look elsewhere - but remember, you get what you pay for. Meir is not cheap because his work is quality. His prices are competitive and he is upfront and honest, never charging unnecessarily. He stands by all of his work and if you're unsatisfied, he is there to answer questions or reexamine the project.

As a San Franciscan who is concerned with the city's take-over by billion dollar corporations, it restores my faith when I see a small business like Master Plumbing still around to provide personalized service.

I can't say I'm happy when my plumbing breaks down, but I'm happy to have the chance to support an exceptional small businesses in my community.

Meir is wonderful.... he comes quickly, solves your problem, has a cup or coffee and leaves everything in perfect order.   I recommend him highly...he has repaired my plumbing on two occasions and his prices are reasonable.  Call him if you have a plumbing problem!

This guy meir knows his stuff we had a bad blockage in our drain ,he came to our house  within a few hours of our call to him ,he got right to work found the blockage got our drain cleared and our kitchen sink was back working like normal.
so he was quick clean honest and didnt over charge us ,will definitely used him again .

The best plumber ever. Someone who can see the big picture on a job and be honest with timing. Showed up when he said he would and got the job done in one day. Other plumbers told me it could take days if not a week or so! I would recommend him to anyone!

Whats really important that the work was clean and affordable and they responded quickly, and explained the problem and the cost on the phone so i will understand everything (almost).

Meir is honest, dependable and a very good plumber.  He IS expensive, but you get what you pay for.  If you want absolute clarity about your problem and its fix, and honesty... this is your guy.  If you want to risk hiring the cheapest, he is not.

We have used Master Plumbing several times over the years. Excellent work , HONEST, and very knowledgable , we will not trust our pipes to any other.

Fast, clean fairly priced, what more could one ask when plumbing suddenly break's down.

Referred by a co worker, master plumbing answered our questions on the phone and arrived in short order, after looking over the leak, he set to work and did not stop until all was working again.

Will certainly use this plumber again, already referring to neighbors and friends.

Set up appointment and they could only give me a four hour window.  I asked to be scheduled later in the window.  Instead, they called me as soon as window opened to say plumber was on his way . . . from Sunnyvale (to SF) . . . during rush hour . . . and they charge by the hour for transportation time.  Boo!

Master Plumbing is as good as it gets !!   I used to dread calling a plumber - now, I love it  !   No rip offs, no gadgets, no unnecessary sewer cameras - just good, honest plumbing.  One (great) man, one (green) truck - excellent and professional work.  We call him The Pipe Whisperer.  There is nothing he can't do - and do quickly, efficiently, and with great style.   We cannot say enough positive things about our wonderful plumber.  Call him today, he'll be there today.  Best call you'll ever make.

I called Master Plumber based on the positive reviews on Yelp and the fact he is located in my neighborhood. He came over within a few hours to fix our kitchen faucet which involved taking apart the handle and removing some pieces of plastic. He charged $150 for 30 mins work which I thought was outrageous. I will not be calling him again.

Another 5 star rating for Master Plumbing - love their orange trucks!  All their plumbing staff as well as their office personnel are very courteous and knowledgeable about their plumbing business.

It was a weeknight when I got home and found a blue notice from the City of Mountain View, informing me that my water meter was turning, indicating that either my water was running or had a leak on my side of the meter. Followed their instructions on the notice on where to check for house leaks. Checked everything listed and found that my water meter dial was turning, indicating that there might be a leak between my house valve or internal leaking. (bad news!)...time to call a plumber because the City of Mountain doesn't go onto private properties to check for leaks.

I quickly checked the internet and found Master Plumbing on Yelp. Decided to call them after reading their reviews which had a high percentage of 5 stars.  I called them the following day and was able to have a plumber come out to check my water problem. Jimmy and Joshua were the first to come, for the assessment, then Sergio and Daniel were the ones that installed my beautiful new copper main line. (discovered that my old main water line was plastic!!).  Sergio and Daniel, thank you for doing an excellent job, because your installation passed the City of Mountain View's inspection. The last to come were Sergio and Jamar who also did a good job in the final clean-up. All these guys work as a team and are so easy-going that you end up on a first name basis by the time they leave.  This is a well-run company because the owner personally came by and surveyed what had to be done and described to me what that entailed. The office staff was very helpful too, they handled getting the permit from the City of Mountain View to install my new main water line and also called PG&E for me to get them to stop by to mark where the gas and electrical lines were located before Master Plumbing and the electrician started to dig the trenches for the water line and the electrical line.

Also, wanted to mention that Sergio and Daniel had to work side-by-side with the electrician and his associate who I had hired to install a new conduit line that ran above my water line so both the plumbers and electricians worked together digging their separate trenches (one for the water line, the other for the electrician line---not an easy task).  That's what you call teamwork, because it was a difficult project to complete.

In summary, If you need a plumber whether it is a small job or a big one like mine,
call Master Plumbing.  I highly recommend them.
